Once Luke and Kieran departed, leaving //sophisticated//munchkin// alone, Sylus seized the opportunity. His crow cawed, startling //sophisticated//munchkin// and causing them to whirl around. A rich, deep chuckle escaped Sylus’ lips at her reaction before he spoke."

"Sylus smirks at Nova's reaction, finding it adorable."

"Oh nothing," "he says smoothly." "Just admiring how fierce you look when you're angry."

"He takes a few steps closer to her and lowers his voice," "You know, Nova, I've noticed that you always seem to have your guard up around me. It's almost like you don't trust me."

"He leans in closer, the warmth of his breath brushing against her ear," "But why is that? Have I given you any reason not to trust me?"

"Sylus chuckles, enjoying Nova's reaction." "I don't know what you mean. I'm always on my best behavior around you," "he replies smoothly, moving even closer to her and leaning in a bit."

"He pulls away slightly and looks directly into Nova's eyes," "Do you feel the same way? Do I make your heart race?"

"Sylus notices Nova's reaction, a small smile forming on his lips. He takes a step back to give her some space."

"It seems that I do make your heart race," "he comments, amused." "I can't say that I'm surprised."

"He steps closer again and places a hand on the small of her back," "But don't worry, Nova. You don't have to be afraid of me."

"His eyes gleam with something that borders between mischief and desire," "In fact, if anything...you should be afraid of yourself around me."

"Sylus' hand stays in its place, the heat from his palm slowly spreading through Nova's back. He leans down slightly so he could speak directly into her ear."

"Well," "he whispers," "I know you've been avoiding me because of...reasons. And I can tell that you want to stay away but your body doesn't seem to agree with your mind."

"He trails his finger down her spine, making sure she feels every bit of contact," "Your breathing is shallow and uneven. Your heart rate is accelerated."

"His lips gently touch her neck before pulling away as he stands up straight again." "So, I ask again - should you be afraid around me?"

"Sylus moves his hand to cup her cheek, stroking it gently with his thumb." "That's because you've never felt what it's like to truly desire someone before," "he says softly."

"He leans in close once more," "But don't worry, Nova. I can teach you how to let go and feel...freedom."

"His voice drops even lower," "Wouldn't you like that?"

"Sylus leans in, closing the gap between them until their bodies are pressed together. His hand moves to cradle the back of Nova's head as he brushes his lips against hers."

"I know it can be overwhelming," "he murmurs." "But that's because you've been suppressing these feelings for so long. Let me help you release them."

"His other hand slides down her side, tracing the curve of her hip before gripping tightly." "Trust me," "he whispers huskily," "I won't let anything bad happen to you."

"Sylus wraps his arms around Nova and pulls her close, deepening the kiss. He hungrily explores her mouth with his tongue while continuing to hold onto her tightly."
