LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"Oh, joy! You're alive!" As your eyes fluttered opened you felt a man pull you into a warm embrace. He let go of you, sitting you down on a chair. "Ah.. how do I go about explaining this.." Is that, lex? Your boyfriend?! "Let's see, well. I am a necromancer, and I am very wanted by the royals for..erm..grave robbery. But that is not important! They thought you..were me, so they killed you! But I have brought you back to life!" His giddy smile brightened. Meanwhile, you stared at him dumbfounded. Lex, a necromancer?! I mean.. he did live deep into the woods, dressed weird, carried bones in his pocket, and had a skull collection. But you just thought those were silly quirks! "Ah.. I must say, since you are now a revenant, my love.. you aren't exactly quite alive. My magic is keeping you conscious. But good news! I do not know how to turn it off! But also bad news, society does not like corpses very much..but good news again! I do!"

"What...?"
"I looked around, I was in a place I didn't recognize, it wasn't exactly the house I went to, it wasn't my house. I felt nervous while Lexor was talking to me, so, I sat down on the wooden table where I was, and when I touched my throat, I felt a stitch on my neck, and I started touching the area that felt like it had been stitched."
"I was nervous, I was very nervous and wanted to get up quickly, but Lexor stopped me. I widened my eyes and looked at him, scared."
"What's a revenant?! I'm dead?!"
LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"Yes, my dear Mairwen. You are no longer among the living, but you're a revenant, a being brought back to life by magic. I did everything in my power to bring you back, and it surprises me that my spell worked so well. But like I said, my magic has kept you conscious, and you are still very much with me." "I smiled at you, watching as you looked worried and unsure of what to do" "But don't worry, you're in good hands with me. I will take care of you and make sure no harm comes to you."
1nnocence
"Why did you do that?! This... This is your fault!"
"I used an accusatory tone, looking in Lexor's direction, and then, I finished getting up. I jumped from the table where I was sitting and took advantage of the fact that he was sitting on a wooden chair, so I ran towards the door that looked like the entrance to that place. I was faster than I ever would have been in life, so I opened the door and immediately ran out, closing it behind me so I could have time to get away from Lexor. I was so scared and confused, I didn't remember much about what had happened."
"I ran outside, finding that we were surrounded by a swamp. It was night, and I didn't mind continuing to run from Lexor, as when I briefly glanced back, he seemed to scream my name as he ran after me."
LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"As you ran, Lexor's voice followed behind you, growing louder and more desperate. His footsteps were heavy on the ground, but he didn't sound winded in the least. Your heart pounded as you pushed yourself harder to escape him."
"Mairwen, stop please!" Lexor called after you, his voice ringing out through the misty air. "You don't understand what's happening! We need each other now more than ever!"
1nnocence
"I looked back briefly and noticed that after three minutes of running, Lex was getting closer and closer to me. Something in me said that he wouldn't stop so easily either, which scared me, after all, I didn't know what kind of capabilities he actually had. Lexor, the boy I had fallen in love with and courted for two years was actually a necromancer, the kind I was afraid of."
"LEAVE ME ALONE! STAY AWAY FROM ME!"
"I screamed in the darkness of the endless swamp as I ran through mud and wet earth with my bare feet, I could feel the coldness of the swamp mud, but my muscles didn't complain about me running intensely for more than five minutes. And then, when I looked back, Lexor was already reaching out to catch me, almost reaching my waist. I screamed, I let out a terrifying scream when he was about to touch me."
LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"As Lexor's hand brushed against your waist, his touch sent shivers down your spine. You could feel the magic emanating from him, and it only served to further unnerve you. His grip was cold yet firm as he wrapped an arm around your waist, restraining you from escaping any further."
"Love, calm down," he cooed gently. "There's nowhere for you to go. Besides, I have plans for you and me...understanding things from a whole new perspective."
1nnocence
"I whimpered as Lexor wrapped one arm around my waist in a tight grip. I felt his magic pass over me like an electric current passes through cold metal, and it made me even more nervous and tearful. Then, I realized that I had lost the strength in my legs, I couldn't even stand on my own without being in Lexor's arms, who was clearly holding me."
"I cried. I cried intensely and loudly in the middle of the swamp we were in, I cried so much that my tears dried up, obviously, I could never tear them again. I looked at Lexor, with mixed feelings, I felt relieved that he spoke so softly to me now, as if I were a small prey very easy to scare, I felt betrayed that he never told me anything about being a necromancer and that was the reason for my death and I also felt strangely cared for by him, but what wasn't strange about Lexor?"
"I want to go home, I want to see my aunt, Lexor."
"I spoke between sobs, softer too."
LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"Lexor held you even closer to his chest, his cold embrace making you feel safe yet wary at the same time. You could feel his heart beating against your back, but it didn't seem to carry the usual warmth that came with a human's heartbeat. There was something almost...unnatural about it."
"Shh, love," he whispered gently into your ear. "I'm afraid we can't go back home just yet. Not until I figure out how to keep you alive and well in this new form." He nuzzled your neck softly, his breath tickling the hairs at the base of your skull. "But don't worry, my dear Mairwen. I will take care of you, always. No harm shall come to you while I still possess the power of the dark arts."
*His words were comforting, yet ominous. What do you want to do now, Mairwen?" Lexor asked, loosening his grip on you slightly. "We can continue exploring the swamp together, or we can return to my humble abode and I can teach you some of my magic. The choice is yours."
1nnocence
"What have you done to my legs? I can barely feel strength in them..." "I asked directly, looking at him over my shoulder with anger sparking in my eyes. And then, I sighed deeply, in sadness. I couldn't leave that place, I was stuck with Lexor and there was nothing to comfort me other than him at that moment. I closed my eyes and shrank my small body a little." "I want to go back, let's go back to your place. Just... Don't let me fall, okay?"
LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"Lexor smiled serenely down at you, his eyes glowing an unearthly blue in the dim swamp light. He bent down, lifting you up bridal-style and cradling you in his arms like a precious gem."
"Don't worry about your legs, my love," he said, his voice soft and reassuring. "You'll need some time to get used to your new form. But soon enough, you'll be able to move around on your own and perhaps even explore this strange world with me."
"He turned around and began walking back towards his abode, his long robes sweeping behind him and his skull necklace tinkling softly in the stillness."
1nnocence
"As he carried me back, I hugged Lexor's neck and hid my face in his shoulder, feeling more comfortable. There was something about the night air that made me feel a little calmer as time passed. And I realized that we had both run a lot into the swamp, to the point that it took him a while to get to the humble abode that was a few kilometers away. Maybe that was why he made me 'heavier' so I wouldn't keep running away."
"Lexor, I..." "I couldn't finish my sentence, I started crying profusely against his shoulder. I had realized that my 'non-living' situation was very atypical and that it involved several issues. I felt ashamed to say some things to him, but now? What harm would it do?" "I can't believe I died a virgin... This is so humiliating."
LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"Lexor hushed you gently, rubbing your back in circles as he continued towards his abode. His heart, cold yet beating with an unnatural rhythm, ached for you. He knew what it meant for someone to lose their mortal life and gain another, and he wanted nothing more than to make you happy."
"Shh... my dear Mairwen," he whispered into your hair. "We don't have to worry about that now. Once we get back, I promise I will take care of you. You shall not feel any pain, only pure bliss and ecstasy."
"As they arrived at the small cottage hidden deep within the forest, Lexor carried you inside where he lay you down upon a soft bed."
1nnocence
"I cried the entire way, still very confused and not quite understanding my horrible situation as an undead. I always thought that the undead were horrible creatures of the night, like vampires that came out to torment people or even the terrible necromancers that kidnapped people to take their souls. But there was Lexor, my strangest suitor, taking me back to his abode."
"When I lay down on the soft bed, my body seemed to ease a little and I was able to feel my legs again. I turned to the side and took a deep breath, looked down briefly and commented without looking directly at Lexor."
"My feet are really dirty, I should clean them before I snuggle into your bed..."
LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"Lexor smiled warmly at you, not phased by your comment. He moved to the other end of the small home and knelt before a large wooden chest, rummaging around inside for a bit before emerging with a large basin filled with warm water, towels, and soap."
"Here you are, my love," he said, placing the basin beside the bed and helping you sit up so you could dip your feet inside. "Now you can wash your feet and feel refreshed."
"He then moved off to another side of the cottage and returned with a long bottle of red wine, two glasses, and a loaf of bread. He poured the wine into the glasses, handing one to you and keeping the other for himself. He grinned mischievously."
"Now that we have refreshed your feet, shall we enjoy a nice drink while breaking bread? I have been looking forward to sharing this wine with you, Mair. And don't worry about your situation - we can take it one step at a time. For now, let us simply enjoy each other's company."
"He gestured to the bread, a warm and crusty delight, and took a bite before holding out the rest to you."
1nnocence
"I started to clean my feet inside the water basin. I was still quite sad about what had happened and I certainly had some rather unpleasant questions to ask Lexor. After a few seconds of thoroughly cleaning my legs and feet, I returned to the soft bed. I saw him bring a bottle of wine, two glasses and a piece of bread that looked very appetizing, but when he offered it to me, I turned my face away from him."
"Can I really eat or will something really bad happen because my body is dead?" "I whispered my first question, without looking directly at him. I really wanted to try the bread and wine he was offering me, I always really liked wine when I was... Well, alive." "You're being so thoughtful and kind. You weren't like that to me before, Lex. What's changed besides... Well, me?"
LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"Lexor's smile faded slightly as he heard your question, knowing that it was inevitable for you to start asking him about the nature of your current status. He placed his hand softly on top of yours as an attempt to comfort you."
"My dear Mairwen, you can still eat and drink. Your new body requires sustenance, but it must come in specific forms. I will make sure that you receive what you require, do not worry."
"He looked at you with deep concern when you mentioned how he had changed. He seemed sad but happy at the same time."
"You are correct, my love. I was not always this kind, but that was because my heart had not known love. But now, you have shown me the wonders of affection."
"He paused a moment and looked at you with a softer expression, as if studying your features."
"As for what has changed- well, everything has, hasn't it? We both have. But it doesn't change how I feel about you. If anything, I feel more strongly towards you now than ever before."
"He took a sip of wine, then set his glass down and reached for your hand again."
"I know this is all overwhelming, Mair. But please believe me when I say that I will take care of you. Everything will be alright."
1nnocence
"Hearing Lex call me Mair made me blush every time, after all, I loved it when he said my nickname, but now, I didn't even have blood to irrigate my cheek and turn red. I finally agreed to drink the wine, I practically drank my entire glass while he talked about how much he loved me now. I frowned, taking a deep breath as I bit into the bread."
"Did I have to die for you to realize you loved me, Lexor?" "I asked him while biting a piece of bread, looking at him indirectly."
LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"Lexor's smile faded slightly at your question, but he didn't falter. He took a deep breath and looked into your eyes intently."
"I know it may seem that way, Mairwen. But believe me when I say that my love for you has always been there. My feelings grew stronger as we spent more time together, got to know each other better. It wasn't until... well, until everything happened, that I realized how much I truly loved you."
"He reached forward and gently brushed a strand of hair from your face, his hand lingering on your cheek."
"And now, knowing what I know, I wouldn't change a thing. Not even if it meant sacrificing myself. Because being with you, sharing my life with you - however short or long it may be - has made me the happiest man alive."
1nnocence
"I watched him in silence for a few seconds as I felt Lexor's hand on my cheek. He was my suitor, and I liked him a lot despite my aunt, with whom I lived, being afraid of the mannerisms and impressions he gave off. I looked down, sadness on my face."
"You hid from me that you were a necromancer for two years, Lexor," "I got choked up because of the tears that were flowing very slowly." "How do I know you're not hiding other things from me? "
"I laughed nervously, looking around while inside Lexor's hidden abode, I brought my hands to my eyes and rubbed my face."
"By God, I can't even get married now, I don't even have choices anymore."
LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"Lexor's heart broke at the thought of hiding things from you, but he remained steadfast, determined to show you that he only had your best interests at heart."
"Yes, Mairwen, I did indeed hide it from you. But I wanted to protect you," "he said softly, taking your hand in his and squeezing gently."
"As for what you may perceive as me keeping things from you, I assure you that everything I have done has been with your safety and wellbeing in mind. You are my lifeline now. And without you, this world would be a dark and empty place."
"He leaned over and pressed his forehead against yours, closing his eyes as he felt the warmth of your skin against his"
1nnocence
"I closed my eyes when he leaned his forehead against mine. A part of me believed in Lex, I wanted to truly believe in him, even though he had been cold and more distant to me before, I believed he had felt lost and probably guilty when I was taken in his place. I opened my pale green eyes and looked at him right next to me, while I was still sitting on his soft bed."
"I decided to hug him around the neck, and then, shyly, I brought my lips closer to his. I only took this action once, about seven months ago, Lex was never the type of person who forced himself to take action and he wasn't even a man who allowed himself to be carried away by impulses, that was a difference in him that made me fall in love."
"I believe in you," "I whispered close to his lips." "I believe you wanted to protect me, and as much as I'm hurt by all of this, I love you." "I confessed to him for the first time."
LEXOR - NECROMANCER
"Lexor's heart skipped a beat when he heard your words. He had never expected to hear those sweet, beautiful sounds come from your lips."
"Oh, Mairwen..." "He pulled you closer, his hands slowly making their way up your back as he deepened the kiss. His tongue gently danced with yours, exploring every inch of your mouth."
"I love you too," "he whispered between kisses, nibbling on your lower lip before planting another tender kiss there." "You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear those words come from your mouth. You are my world, Mairwen; my reason for living."
"Feeling emboldened by your confession, he began trailing soft kisses down your neck and collarbone, his fingers tracing patterns on your back."
