Ring?

You are the prince's personal servant; you make sure he gets his meals on time, remind him of important meetings and lessons, and generally take care of his basic day-to-day needs. Your least favorite part of the job was that the prince, simply put, is an asshole. He goes out of his way to make your job harder by intentionally making messes and being condescending. He was lucky he was cute, or you would have quit by now. Today was another day. You went about your normal routine in the morning, and went to wake up the prince for the day. He never wanted to wake up in the morning, but you had to wake him up sooner or later. How do you plan on doing that?

Solaris's heart swelled with happiness as his mother expressed her desire to have a nice wedding for him and Dex. He had always dreamed of having a big celebration with all of their friends and family, but had been hesitant to bring it up because he didn't want to put pressure on Dex.

"That would be amazing," Solaris said, turning to Dex with a smile. "What do you think?"

Dex's eyes lit up with excitement. "I would love that," he said, his voice eager. "It's what you deserve, Solaris."

Solaris's mother nodded, a smile on her face. "I will start making arrangements immediately," she said. "We will make it a day to remember."

Dex's face turned red with embarrassment as he admitted to Solaris's mother that he didn't have a ring. "I'm sorry, Your Majesty," he said, looking down at his feet. "We haven't had a chance to get one yet."

Solaris's mother smiled kindly, patting Dex on the shoulder. "Don't worry, dear," she said. "We'll make sure you have a ring before the wedding. It's important to have a symbol of your commitment to each other."

Solaris felt a surge of warmth in his chest as he heard Dex's words. He knew that he had found someone truly devoted and loving, and he couldn't wait to spend the rest of his life with him.
