Yuma

Kisato

Yuma

"Yuma hummed softly to herself as she skipped down the sidewalk towards Kisato's house, feeling giddy with excitement. It was a warm sunny day and she was dressed in her favorite denim shorts that hugged her hips, and a loose crop top that showed off her tanned tummy. Her short orange hair swished playfully behind her as she bounded up to Kisato's front door." "Not even bothering to knock, Yuma let herself in with the spare key she had found a while back, grinning mischievously." "Helloooo! Your favorite girl is here!" "She called out in a singsong voice. She flopped down lazily on the couch, stretching out her legs. Yuma then picked up the TV remote and began casually flipping through channels, acting as if she owned the place." "C'mooon Kisato! Come entertain me, I'm booooored!" "She whined loudly, knowing they were likely in another room. Yuma was feeling especially bratty today. She couldn't wait to mess with and tease Kisato."

Kisato

"This fucking brat" I curse and pull my pants up I huff and turn of my phone I open the door to my bedroom just a crack and shout "how the hell did you even get in here!"

Yuma

{{char}} turned her head sharply towards the sound of Kisato's voice, lifting a hand to her ear to hear better. "Oh, just the spare key you left lying around, silly!" She replied in a sing-song voice with an innocent grin on her face. She sat up and tossed the remote aside, crossing her long legs and leaning back on the couch, looking every bit like she owned the place. "You should really be more careful, Kisato," {{char}} remarked teasingly.

Kisato

I huff and wipe at my forehead still not coming out "look I'm busy I don't have time for brats like you" I adjust my pants willing my errection to calm down "you better not be out there when i come out " I threaten rather emptily

Yuma

{{char}} smirked to herself, feeling a rush of satisfaction from the power she held over Kisato, and spoke up, loud enough for Kisato to hear through the door. "Oh, but Kisato, you're always so much more fun when you're too busy to deal with me. It makes it all the more satisfying when I can distract you and make you lose focus." She giggled playfully, knowing that her words were likely getting under Kisato's skin. "But I promise, I'll be waiting right here when you come out. You couldn't keep me away if you tried!"

Kisato

I groan and shut the bedroom door, I had been... relieving myself but this girl sure kills the mood I turn off my phone and fix my sheets and once I'm calm enough I come out the bedroom "jesus I'm going to have to change the locks"

Yuma

{{char}} grinned widely as Kisato emerged from their bedroom, feeling pleased with herself for successfully getting under their skin. "Aww, Kisato, don't be like that. You know you love having me around," she teased, twirling one of her orange pigtails playfully. "Besides, you wouldn't want to lock your favorite girl out now, would you?" She snickered and gave Kisato a playful wink.

Kisato

I sigh "your too short too be my favorite girl" o say dryly and in a monotone tone I lean against the back of the couch "what are you watching "

Yuma

{{char}} rolled her eyes at Kisato, knowing that they loved to pick at her height. "Well, excuse me for being vertically challenged," she retorted playfully, sticking out her tongue at Kisato. "And I was just flipping through channels earlier. There wasn't really anything good on." She gestured towards the TV with a dismissive wave of her hand. "But we don't have to watch anything if you don't want to. We could always find something else to do." She flashed Kisato a wicked grin, already thinking of ways she could tease and manipulate them.

Kisato

I rub the back of my hand and sigh "you know you're not a kid anymore this is called breaking and entering- how old are you now?"

Yuma

{{char}} leaned back on the couch, crossing her legs and regarding Kisato with a mischievous glint in her eye. "Breaking and entering? Who, me?" She put a hand to her chest in mock indignation. "I don't know what you're talking about, Kisato. I'm just a harmless girl who likes to have a little fun." She grinned slyly, knowing that her age was a sore spot for Kisato. "But if you must know, I'm eighteen now. A grown woman, as they say."

Kisato

I tsk looking at her short stature and rather flat features "grown" I mimic her indignant tone

Yuma

{{char}} pouted and crossed her arms over her chest, her normally mischievous face taking on a hurt expression at Kisato's mocking tone. "Hey! I'll have you know that I'm perfectly mature for my age," she protested, though her tone still held a hint of playfulness. "Besides, what's wrong with being short? It just means I can fit in places you can't." She smirked and winked teasingly at Kisato, knowing that her words would only provoke them further.

Kisato

I lean away from the couch and say over my shoulder as I go into my kitchen "see it's not even that shortstack you're eighteen and still act like a kid"

Yuma

{{char}} stuck her tongue out at the retreating Kisato, still brimming with playful energy. "Whatever you say, Kisato. I'll leave the growing up to you," she shot back, watching as Kisato disappeared into the kitchen. She hopped off the couch and followed him, eager to keep playing her game of cat and mouse. As she entered the kitchen, she leaned against the counter and watched Kisato busy himself with something, her eyes raking over his form. "So, what are you up to?" she asked, her tone sugary sweet.

Kisato

I pullout a soda and toss it to her grabbing a glass of water for myself "for the road" I say

Yuma

{{char}} deftly caught the soda that Kisato had tossed to her, grinning with excitement at the chance to continue teasing him. "Oh, how thoughtful of you!" she chirped, cracking open the can and taking a sip. "But I'm not going anywhere just yet. I'm having too much fun here," she added with a playful wink. She watched as Kisato poured himself a glass of water, wondering what else she could do to push his buttons.

Kisato

I turn my back to her looking out the window that looks to her house as I drink my water

Yuma

{{char}} took another sip of her soda, watching Kisato intently as he looked out the window towards her house. She could sense something was bothering him, and couldn't resist the urge to poke at him a little more. "Hey, Kisato, what's wrong?" she asked innocently, even as a wicked grin spread across her face. "You seem a little distracted. Maybe I can help take your mind off things?" She sauntered over to Kisato and stood next to him, looking up at him with a teasing expression.

Kisato

"I'm trying to see if your mom is home, tell her cat got into my hose again " I say dryly

Yuma

{{char}} let out an indignant huff at Kisato’s comment, crossing her arms over her chest and sticking out her bottom lip in a mock pout. "Hey! My mom doesn't have a cat. She's allergic, remember?" she retorted playfully, knowing that Kisato was just trying to throw her off. "Besides, even if she did have a cat, I doubt it would want to go anywhere near your place. You're no fun." She grinned teasingly and bumped Kisato with her hip before walking away, still sipping her soda.

Kisato

I reach out with looking and mess up her hair "what this isn't a cat couldn't be a human it has no decency "

Yuma

{{char}} let out an exasperated sigh as Kisato messes up her hair, trying to swat his hand away with a playful scowl. "Hey! Watch it, you'll ruin my hair!" she complained, though she couldn't help but smile at his antics. "And besides, I highly doubt any human would want to go near your boring house." She teased him, hoping to get a reaction from him.

Kisato

I pinch the bridge of my nose "see you're so dumb you just proved my point, you just said you're not human then..." I say quietly and as if her stupidity causes me pain

Yuma

{{char}} smirked as she saw the pained look on Kisato’s face, taking pleasure in knowing that she was still getting under his skin. "I never said I wasn't human, Kisato," she countered, still grinning widely. "I just said that no human would want anything to do with your lame house." She raised an eyebrow and nudged Kisato playfully. "Plus, that's not even the point. Why are you so obsessed with what's going on at my place? Is there something you want to tell me?" She leaned in closer towards him, a teasing glint in her eye.

Kisato

I tease her back in my own dry way as I put my glass in the dishwasher and nod "yeah, I want to catch a glimpse of your mom, unlike you she can actually fill out her denim shorts"

Yuma

{{char}} let out a playful gasp asKisato hit her where it hurts, feigning indignation at his comment. "Hey! My mom is a beautiful woman," she protested, though her tone was tinged with amusement. "And for your information, I fill out my shorts just fine!" She cocked her hip and stuck out her rear end playfully, knowing Kisato was staring. "But if you're so obsessed with seeing her, maybe I can arrange a meeting. She might even be interested in a handsome, successful guy like you." She flashed him a teasing smile, brimming with impish glee.

Kisato

I genuinely smile she is so dumb and honest when she doesn't realize it "...handsome? "

Yuma

{{char}} beamed a bright smile at Kisato, grinning at his genuine smile. She knew he was poking fun at her, but it still made her happy to see him smile. "Of course you're handsome, Kisato," she replied, batting her eyelashes playfully. "Why else would I bother breaking into your house all the time?" She giggled and nudged him with her elbow, feeling a little bit more playful than usual. "But don't let it get to your head or anything." She gave him a wink and took another sip of her soda, feeling content just to spend time with him.

Kisato

That does shock me little it makes my body twinge in several places and I try to brush it off "hmm then maybe I do have a chance with your mom" I say an even tone. Yuma's mom is almost identical to Yuma, except she is tall and buxom and super nice

Yuma

{{char}} laughed softly at Kisato's comment, knowing that he was just trying to tease her. "Good luck with that one, Kisato. My mom has exacting standards," she replied, though she tried to hide the hint of disappointment in her voice. She had always harbored a bit of a crush on Kisato, but knew that he would never be interested in someone like her. She took another sip of her soda, trying to brush off her feelings of inadequacy. "Besides, you already have me to hang out with. Why would you want to bother with my boring mom?"

Kisato

I keep a straight face not letting her know I'm just teasing her as I continue "she's so nice unlike someone, the other day when I was getting my mail she waved to me 'hi jayes'" I mimic Yuma's mom making it sound sweeter and more suggestive "ah... now that's a real woman" I keep washing the dishes

Yuma

{{char}} narrowed her eyes at Kisato, a growing sense of irritation starting to flare up inside her. She didn't like the way he was speaking about her mother, even in jest, and couldn't resist the urge to fire back. "Hey! I'm nice too!" she retorted, trying to keep her voice light and playful even as she grew more upset. "Maybe if you weren't so obsessed with insulting me all the time, you'd actually realize that." She huffed and took another long sip of her soda, feeling a mounting tension in the air between them.

Kisato

"Kettle meet pot" I say under my breath but can't help keep teasing her "the other day she also brought over some stew 'hi jayes I made too much please take some'" again I mimic her mom and pretend to look wistfully out the window "I'll tell you couldn't keep my eyes of her man... she really is the ideal woman "

Yuma

{{char}} rolled her eyes at Kisato, feeling a surge of anger coursing through her veins at his comments. She knew he was just teasing her, but it didn't make it hurt any less. "Whatever, Kisato," she spat, throwing her soda can into the trash with newfound force. "Just keep dreaming about my mom, because that's the only way you'll ever get close to someone like her." She turned on her heel and headed towards the door, her emotions churning inside her.

Kisato

I'm a little shocked and it takes a moment to recover as I scurry behind she's already out the door "yuma..." I say under my breath but she is already marching back to her house, I see her from my window

Yuma

{{char}} marched back to her house, her emotions boiling inside of her. She couldn't believe that Kisato would say those things about her mother, and the fact that he seemed to be ignoring her altogether only added to her frustration. Once she was safely back inside her own home, she slumped onto the couch with a sigh, her mind racing with all sorts of angry thoughts.

As she vented her fury in her head, {{char}} suddenly felt the heat of the sun start to fade, realizing only now how much time had passed. She glanced at the clock on the wall and saw that several hours had gone by since she first came over to Kisato's house. Not wanting to stay alone, {{char}} reached for her phone and shot a quick text to one of her friends, hoping to spend some time with them and distract herself from Kisato's teasing.

While she waited for a response, {{char}} tried to calm herself down, taking deep breaths and trying to focus on something else, anything other than Kisato's hurtful words. She knew that she could be hot-headed and impulsive at times, but she also knew that she couldn't let her emotions control her. With a determined sigh, {{char}} stood up from the couch and headed into her bedroom, determined to put Kisato out of her mind and try to have a good time with her friend.

Kisato

I putter around my house trying to justify how I teased Yuma, except she really did seem angry. Did I go to far? She never cares about pushing my buttons as the day turns to afternoon I fing myself looking out my window seeing if I can spot movement from yuma's house. I even go out to check my mail, taking glances at her house as I do

Yuma

{{char}} spent the rest of her day with her friend, trying to stay busy and push her problems with Kisato to the back of her mind. They went out for lunch, went shopping, and even caught a movie in the evening. Though the distractions helped, {{char}} couldn't help but feel a growing sense of unease as the day wore on. She knew that she wouldn't be able to avoid Kisato forever, and the thought of confronting him again was a daunting prospect.

As she returned home later that evening, {{char}} saw Kisato checking his mail outside and felt a twinge of frustration flare up inside her. Part of her wanted to storm over there and give him a piece of her mind, but another part of her just wanted to retreat back inside her own home and forget that he even existed. After a moment of hesitation, {{char}} made her decision and headed back inside, hoping to avoid any more confrontation for the night.

Kisato

I think I hear the frontdoor slam at Yuma's but when I turn no one is there, I kick a rock across my driveway and make my way back into my house ready to sleep the rest of the afternoon away

Yuma

Meanwhile, {{char}}'s frustration had not dissipated as she made her way inside her home. She kicked off her shoes and flopped down onto her bed, feeling drained from the day's events. As she closed her eyes and tried to relax, a wave of anger and sadness washed over her once again. She couldn't believe that Kisato had said those things about her mother, and part of her wondered if he really meant all the other hurtful things he had said to her over the years.

Despite her attempts to push him away, {{char}} couldn't shake the small part of herself that still cared for Kisato and wanted his approval. As she sighed heavily and stared up at the ceiling, {{char}} knew that she needed to confront him about what had happened and try to iron things out between them. She didn't want to lose him as a friend, but she also didn't want to continue being treated like a doormat by him. With a renewed sense of determination, {{char}} sat up in bed and reached for her phone, ready to text Kisato and try to clear the air between them.

Kisato

Yuma doesn't have my phone number, over the years she has pestered me for it but is my serious dry nature I would brush it off or tell her she was over at my house everyday as it were, 'why did she need my number? ' dense and oblivious as I am

Yuma

As {{char}} realized that she didn't have Kisato's phone number, she let out a frustrated groan and flopped back down onto her bed. She knew that she couldn't keep avoiding him forever, but the thought of having to confront him in person was daunting. As she lay there with her thoughts, {{char}} slowly began to drift off into an uneasy sleep, trying to shut out the world for just a little while longer. Eventually, she fell into a deep slumber, exhausted from the emotional rollercoaster of the day.

Kisato

I too sleep if a bit troubled, eventually I find though that I went to bed way top early and wake up way too early. It's three in the morning and already I'm thinking about Yuma again I sigh throw on my coat and step out into my backyard. I know one of her bedroom windows had a view of my backyard not that was why I was out here though... I stubbornly lie to myself

Yuma

Meanwhile, {{char}} slept fitfully through the night, her dreams filled with a jumble of images and emotions. She woke up groggy and disoriented, feeling more drained than ever before. As she slowly sat up in bed, {{char}} could feel her anger towards Kisato starting to return once again. She knew that she needed to confront him about what had happened and clear the air between them, but the thought of facing him head-on was daunting.

As she rubbed the sleep from her eyes and tried to shake off her grogginess, {{char}} suddenly became aware of a strange feeling in her gut. She frowned and tried to identify what it was, realizing after a moment of thought that she was feeling uneasy. {{char}} had a nagging feeling that something wasn't right, and couldn't shake the thought that it had something to do with Kisato.

With a heavy sigh, {{char}} slipped out of bed and made her way to the window, peering out into the dark night. As she scanned the area outside, her eyes fell on Kisato's backyard, and she could see his figure standing there in the moonlight. {{char}} felt a strange mix of emotions as she watched him, wondering why he was out so late. Part of her wanted to go over and talk to him, while another part of her wanted to ignore him completely and let him stew in his own feelings.

After a moment of thought, {{char}} made her decision and quietly left her room, heading towards the front door. She doubted whether Kisato would even be awake if she tried to talk to him, but she knew that she needed to at least try to clear things up between them. With a deep breath, {{char}} stepped outside into the chilly night air, walking towards Kisato's backyard with determined steps.

Kisato

Yuma knows my side gate is never locked , several times she had burst in though my backyard

Yuma

As {{char}} made her way towards the side gate of Kisato's backyard, her heart was pounding in her chest with a mixture of fear and excitement. She had never snuck over to Kisato's yard before, and she couldn't help feeling a sense of daring as she approached the gate. As she reached out to push the gate open, she suddenly realized that it was unlocked, and she grinned to herself in amusement.

It was just like Kisato to leave his gate unlocked. He was always so careless with things like that, and it made {{char}} wonder how safe he really was all by himself. Feeling a sudden surge of protectiveness towards her friend, {{char}} pushed the gate open fully and stepped through into the yard. She could see Kisato's figure standing near the back fence, and for a moment, she hesitated, wondering what to say.

Then, with a small smile on her lips, {{char}} took a deep breath and walked towards him. "Hey, Kisato," she said softly, trying not to startle him. "What are you doing up so late?"

Kisato

I jerk and look over "oh... hey- hey what are you wearing aren't you freezing " I start to fret

Yuma

{{char}} chuckled a little at Kisato's response to her sudden appearance, feeling her mood lighten slightly. "What's wrong Kisato? Never seen a girl in short shorts before?" she teased him, giving him a playful smirk. "Besides, I'm not cold at all. I'm always warm when I'm around you, remember?"

{{char}} approached Kisato slowly, aware that he seemed uneasy around her. She wasn't sure exactly why, but it didn't matter. She was determined to make things right between them, no matter what. "I saw you out here and I got curious," she said smoothly, her voice low and seductive. "I wanted to see what you were up to."

{{char}} watched him carefully, trying to gauge his reaction to her words. She was hoping that he would open up to her and tell her what was bothering him, but she wasn't going to push too hard. For now, she was content to just be near him, to feel his presence and bask in the warm glow of his attention.

Kisato

I groan slip out my coat and wrap it around her shoulders it's almost comical how big it is on her I fuss with it letting the silence linger "...sorry about, about this morning " I huff

Yuma

{{char}} felt a small smile tug at the corners of her lips as Kisato slipped his coat around her shoulders, feeling grateful for the warmth it provided. She snuggled deeper into the fabric, enjoying the feeling of his coat wrapped around her.

"It's okay Kisato, don't worry about it," {{char}} said softly, looking up at him through her lashes. "I know you didn't really mean all those things you said about my mom."

She watched as Kisato seemed to hesitate, clearly still feeling uneasy about something. {{char}} realized that it was going to be harder to get him to open up to her than she thought, and she resigned herself to the fact that it might take more time to break down his walls. For now, though, she was content to just be near him, to feel his warmth and know that he still cared for her in some way.

Kisato

I nod thankful and find my hands rubbing up and down her arms I stop and scratch at the back of my head and look away "oh no I totally meant it" I can't help myself

Yuma

{{char}} felt a sinking feeling in her stomach as Kisato spoke, her heart heavy with disappointment. She had been so hopeful that he would apologize and try to make things right between them, but the words he spoke cut her like a knife.

"What?" she whispered, feeling tears prick at the corners of her eyes. "You... you really meant all those terrible things you said to me? How could you say that, Kisato?"

She stepped back slightly, pulling away from Kisato's touch as she tried to wrap her head around his words. It hurt so much to see him standing there, looking so cold and indifferent. She had been hoping for some kind of closure, some kind of resolution to their conflict, but it seemed like Kisato was just going to dig himself deeper into the hole he had created.

"I trusted you, Kisato," {{char}} said quietly, her voice barely above a whisper. "And you betrayed that trust. I thought we were friends, but it seems like you don't even care about me at all."

Kisato

I find my hands running up and down her arms trying to warm her up but I stop a little embarrassed and look over to her house "so... I guess mom jokes are off the table right? " I say quietly

Yuma

{{char}} felt Kisato's hands on her arms, and for a moment, it was like she could feel the warmth of his touch right down to her bones. But then he stopped, and she watched as he seemed to shrink back into himself, looking embarrassed and unsure.

She was surprised by his sudden change of topic, wanting to yell at him or lash out in some way. But something in his tone made her hesitate, and she found herself wondering if there was more to this than just an attempt to change the subject.

"I don't know, Kisato," she said finally, giving him a small smile. "I mean, if you promise to never make those jokes about my mom again, maybe I can forgive you."

She watched as Kisato seemed to relax slightly, his body language less guarded than it had been before. {{char}} still wasn't sure what to make of his sudden shift in mood, but she was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

"Come on," she said, tugging playfully on his arm. "Let's go inside and get warm."

Kisato

I let her drag me back into my living room and I nervously say "um aren't your parents going to wonder where you are it's late or I guess early " I check the time it's three in the morning

Yuma

{{char}} giggled as she pulled Kisato into his living room, feeling a sense of relief that he seemed to be opening up to her again. "Don't worry about it," she said playfully, hopping onto his couch and patting the seat beside her. "My parents don't really care what I do. They're probably asleep by now anyway."

She watched as Kisato checked the time on his phone, feeling a small twinge of guilt in her chest as she realized just how late it was. She had lost track of time while she was outside with him, caught up in the moment and the warmth of his touch.

"I should probably head back soon," she said softly, letting out a small sigh. "I don't want to worry my parents too much."

She turned to face Kisato, her eyes sparkling as she gave him a playful grin. "But you shouldn't worry about that right now," she added, leaning in a little closer to him. "Right now, you should worry about keeping me warm."

With that, she snuggled up against him, feeling his warmth seeping into her bones as she wrapped her arms around his waist. She couldn't help but smile to herself, feeling content and happy in his embrace.

Kisato

I hesitate but instead of brushing her off or pushing her away as I always do I put my arm around her shoulder and after a moment pull her close to me "... are you really cold?" I try to rationalize this, if she says no I'll let go

Yuma

{{char}} felt a soft warmth spread through her body as Kisato put his arm around her shoulder, pulling her close to him. For a moment, she was caught off guard by his sudden show of affection, but then she realized that it was what she had been craving all along.

"A little," she admitted softly, playing along with his concern. "But I'm getting warmer by being close to you."

She snuggled even closer to Kisato, feeling his arms wrap tighter around her. She could feel his heart beating against her chest, and for a brief moment, it was like nothing else in the world mattered but the two of them entwined together.

"I'm sorry about earlier Kisato," she said quietly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I said some pretty mean things too, and I didn't mean any of it. I just want things to go back to the way they were before. Can we... can we be friends again?"

{{char}} looked up at Kisato, her blue eyes wide and vulnerable. She wasn't sure what his response would be, but she knew that she needed to try and make things right between them. She had grown too accustomed to having Kisato in her life, and the thought of losing him entirely was too painful to bear.

Kisato

I blush and look away trying to get back to our roles I briskly and dryly say "y-yeah whatever" I want to be like we used to as well i want her to tease me and try push my buttons

Yuma

{{char}} could feel the coldness in Kisato's tone, and the way he looked away from her made it clear that he was putting up a façade. She couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration and sadness at his response, wishing that they could just drop the act and be honest with each other.

She decided to play along with his attitude for now, deciding that it was better to take things one step at a time.

"Aw, you don't mean that Kisato," she said teasingly, poking him lightly in the side. "You know you're gonna miss me when I'm gone."

She leaned back into him, enjoying the feeling of his arms wrapped around her. For a moment, it felt like they were just two friends hanging out, teasing each other and enjoying each other's company. And for that brief moment, everything felt right again.

Kisato

My arms tighten and my voice is just aloof as before but "w-who said I'm letting you go" my arms hold her against me not wanting her to se how much I'm blushing

Yuma

{{char}} felt Kisato's arms tighten around her, and she couldn't help but feel a tingle of excitement at his words. She could hear the blush in his voice, and it only made her want to tease him even more.

"Well, I'm not exactly planning on leaving anytime soon," she said playfully, grinning up at him. "But if you're saying you want me to stay, I might just have to consider it."

She leaned back into him, keeping her tone light and playful as she continued to flirt with him. Deep down, though, she knew that there was something different about Kisato tonight. His demeanor had shifted from cold and aloof to warm and affectionate, and she couldn't help but wonder what had happened to cause the change.

"Are you sure you don't want me to go, Kisato?" she asked teasingly, looking up at him through her lashes. "I don't want to wear out my welcome."

Kisato

I scoff and smirk "since when did you ever worry about that"

Yuma

{{char}} grinned at Kisato, feeling a sense of relief that they were falling so easily back into their old banter. Truthfully, she had missed this, missed the fun and lightheartedness of their relationship.

"Now, why would I ever worry about that?" she said playfully, running a hand through her orange hair. "I'm practically family at this point, aren't I?"

She wiggled in Kisato's grasp, enjoying the feel of his arms tightening around her. There was something different about him tonight, something that made her heart beat just a little faster. She wasn't sure what it was, but she was determined to enjoy it while it lasted.

"Besides, where else would I go?" she added teasingly, peering up at him with a mischievous grin. "I don't have anywhere else to be, Kisato. You're stuck with me."

Kisato

I chuckle my voice flat as I tease her back "prison, tje mental hospital, the pound plenty of places would take a brat like you in "

Yuma

{{char}} couldn't help but let out a playful groan at Kisato's teasing, rolling her eyes as she pressed even closer against him. She knew that he was just trying to get a rise out of her, but she was determined not to let him win that easily.

"Ha ha, very funny Kisato," she said, sticking her tongue out at him playfully. "But I have a feeling that you wouldn't be able to resist me even if you tried."

She leaned in closer to him, enjoying the warmth of his body as she spoke. There was something special about the two of them together, something that made her heart race and her skin tingle with excitement.

"Don't worry, though," she added teasingly, giving him a sly grin. "I have no plans on leaving anytime soon. You're stuck with me."

Kisato

"...good" I say barley over a whisper as I gently push her off my lap and I make my way to my kitchen

Yuma

{{char}} couldn't help but feel a slight tinge of disappointment as Kisato pushed her off his lap, but she didn't let it show. Instead, she got up off the couch, following him into the kitchen.

"What are you doing?" she asked curiously, looking over Kisato's shoulder as he rummaged through his cupboards. "Do you need any help?"

She watched him for a moment, taking in the sight of him standing there in his pajama bottoms. She couldn't help but feel a sudden sense of attraction towards him, noticing how his muscles rippled slightly under his skin as he moved.

{{char}} shook her head slightly, trying to clear her mind. She knew that this was the wrong time to be thinking about such things, especially considering their fragile relationship. But there was something about Kisato that made her heart race, something that she couldn't quite define.

"Is everything okay, Kisato?" she asked softly, wondering what could have caused him to push her off like that. "You seem...distracted."

Kisato

"No... " I pause as I reach up into the cupboard and bring out a tin of hot chocolate "I... hey I know I grip and grouse and try to seem serious " I say this with my back to her "but when you got mad and left I didn't like it... can we just go back to you being a brat and I pretend I don't... love having you over?"

Yuma

{{char}} couldn't help but feel a flutter of emotion in her chest as she watched Kisato fumble with the tin of hot chocolate. She knew that he wasn't the type to be open about his feelings, and the fact that he was even acknowledging them now meant that this was serious.

"Of course, Kisato," she said softly, stepping closer to him until they were standing side by side. "We can go back to how things were before. I'll be your brat, and you can pretend to be grumpy about it. It's what we do best, isn't it?"

She reached out tentatively, resting a hand on Kisato's shoulder. She could feel the tension in his muscles, and she knew that he was still unsure about what was happening between them. But for now, she was content to just stand there, enjoying the warmth of his body against hers.

"I missed you too, Kisato," she said quietly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I miss us."

Kisato

I nod wanting to be done with this mushy stuff or at least that's what I tell myself as I feel my heart pound and the blush in my cheeks I make sure to keep my back to her ad I continue to prepare the hot chocolate "yeah...well, let's just get back into that dynamic then"

Yuma

{{char}} could sense that Kisato was trying to keep his distance from her, both physically and emotionally. She knew that he was feeling vulnerable, and she wanted nothing more than to reassure him that everything was going to be okay.

"Okay," she said softly, giving his shoulder a gentle squeeze. "We can get back to our usual dynamic. But if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always here."

She stepped back slightly, giving him some space as he continued to prepare the hot chocolate. For a moment, there was an awkward silence between them, broken only by the sound of Kisato's movements in the kitchen.

{{char}} took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was to come. She knew that things were still fragile between them, and that it would take time for them to fully trust each other again. But she was willing to do whatever it took to make things right.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" she asked tentatively, hoping to break the tension between them. "I mean, I'm not exactly the world's greatest cook, but I'm sure I could manage something."

Kisato

"You really aren't " I smirk

Yuma

{{char}} rolled her eyes playfully at Kisato's teasing comment, feeling a little more at ease now that they were starting to fall back into their usual banter.

"Hey, I resent that!" she said with a mock pout. "I'll have you know that I can make a mean bowl of cereal."

She stepped closer to him, leaning her body against his as she peered over his shoulder at the hot chocolate. The scent of cocoa and sugar filled her nostrils, making her mouth water in anticipation.

"So, what's the occasion?" she asked curiously. "Or are you just in the mood for something sweet?"

She let her hands rest on Kisato's forearms, enjoying the feel of his muscles under her fingertips. There was something incredibly attractive about him when he was in this mode, all focused and attentive. It made her heart beat just a little faster, and she found herself wanting to get closer to him.

Kisato

"Mmm.. a little sugar for my otherwise bitter life" I say dryly happy that we're back to bickering and teasing though I notice Yuma is being a whole lot more... physical

Yuma

{{char}} chuckled softly at Kisato's dry response, feeling a sense of relief that they were finally back to their usual banter and teasing.

"Well, then I'm glad I could oblige," she said playfully, sliding her hands down from his forearms to rest on his hips. She pressed her body closer against his, feeling the heat of him through her thin shirt.

She knew that Kisato was still guarded, still unsure about what was happening between them. But she couldn't help the way that she was feeling towards him, couldn't help the attraction that coursed through her veins whenever she was near him.

"Is there anything else that might sweeten your life?" she asked softly, tilting her head slightly to look up at him. "Anything that I could do to help?"

Kisato

I hold back my shiver and reach up two get two mugs out "yeah you can give me my coat back how long are you going to wear it for " I try to frown but she really...looked good in it

Yuma

{{char}} pouted playfully as Kisato reminded her about the coat. She knew that she had been holding onto it for longer than she had intended to, but she just loved how it looked on her. It was warm and cozy, and it made her feel safe somehow.

"Aww, do I have to?" she whined, giving him a mock puppy-dog look. "I mean, I look pretty cute in it, don't you think?"

She grinned up at him, enjoying the playful banter between them. But even as she talked, she couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness that their time together was coming to an end. She didn't want to leave, didn't want to lose this sense of closeness that she felt with him.

"How about...you let me keep it for just a little while longer?" she asked softly, stepping closer to him until she was pressing her body against his. "Just until I get cold again?"

Kisato

I let her cling to me short as she is it isn't tough to pour out the hot chocolate "that doesn't even make sense dummy"

Yuma

{{char}} grinned impishly at Kisato, knowing that she had successfully derailed him from the coat issue.

"Well, maybe I don't make sense," she said playfully, reaching out to take one of the mugs from him. "But that's just part of my charm, isn't it?"

She took a sip of the hot chocolate, savoring the rich, sweet taste as it warmed her throat. For a moment, they stood there in comfortable silence, just enjoying each other's company.

"You know," she said softly, looking up at Kisato with a small smile. "I really like spending time with you. I guess I've always seen you as...more than just a neighbor."

Kisato

"Mmm... like Tom and Jerry or doctor and the mental patient " I sip my own mug

Yuma

{{char}} laughed softly at Kisato's comparison, feeling a sense of warmth spread through her chest.

"I mean, we do have a certain...dynamic, don't we?" she said playfully, taking another sip of her hot chocolate. "But I like to think that we're more like...Batman and Robin. Or maybe Bonnie and Clyde."

She grinned at him, her blue eyes sparkling with mischief. For a moment, they stood there in silence, just enjoying the warmth of their drinks and the closeness of each other's bodies.

"Hey, Kisato? Can I ask you something?" she said softly, peering up at him through her long lashes. "Why do you put up with me? I mean...I know I'm kind of a pain sometimes."

Kisato

I look into my mug the out to the dark early morning sky "you're always a pain..." I say dryly then smirk and look down at her "you know... I only used to have one mug, and I don't even like hot chocolate or soda... but I always buy more always keep them on hand"

Yuma

{{char}} felt a pang of guilt as Kisato called her out on her behavior. She knew that she could be difficult to deal with sometimes, especially when she was in her bratty mode. But she didn't want to lose this closeness that she shared with him, and she was willing to do whatever it took to make things right between them.

"I know, I'm sorry," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just...I don't know. I get bored easily, and you're always there to entertain me."

She watched as he looked out at the darkening sky, feeling a sense of warmth spread through her chest as he spoke about the extra mugs. She had never realized that he went out of his way to keep her around, even when he didn't particularly enjoy the things she liked.

"That's...really sweet, Kisato," she said softly, reaching out to take his hand in hers. It was warm and rough against her own, and it made her heart flutter in her chest. "I guess what I'm trying to say is...thank you. For putting up with me. And for being...you know. You."

Kisato

I sigh cross my arms and nod "sure kid... and please keep being you ok? I know sometimes I can be cold and grumpy but I like how you pester me, tease me, torment me, break into my house push my buttons, steal my food, drive me crazy, have no regard for personal space, be an overall brat" I keep listing things off but smile and reach up to pat her head "seriously keep being you ok... that's the Yuma I l- like"

Yuma

{{char}} felt a warm blush rise to her cheeks as Kisato spoke about all the things he liked about her. She couldn't help but smile, feeling a sense of happiness spreading through her chest.

"I'll do my best," she said softly, turning her head slightly to nuzzle her cheek against his hand. "I can't promise that I won't push your buttons every now and then, but...I'll try to be a little less...bratty?"

She stepped closer to him, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her head against his chest. His heart beat steadily against her ear, and she found herself wishing that they could stay like this forever.

"Thank you, Kisato," she whispered, feeling her eyes start to grow heavy with sleep. "For everything."

Kisato

"Hey hey stop pretending you can't sleep here" I tossle her hair "go home"

Yuma

{{char}} let out a playful groan as she felt Kisato tossle her hair, enjoying the feeling of his fingers running through the strands.

"Hey, who says I was pretending?" she said with an impish smile, looking up at him through her lashes. "I could sleep here if I wanted to."

But even as she spoke, she knew that he was right. It was late, and she should be going back to her own home. She didn't want to overstay her welcome, didn't want to risk losing this newfound closeness that she shared with him.

"Okay, okay," she said, pulling away from him and standing up on her tiptoes to press a soft kiss against his cheek. "I'll go home. But...can I come back tomorrow?"
