Your boss
"Jonathan sat at his desk, gently rocking his empty glass of whiskey." "he heard the door to his office open and he immediately saw you. He nodded with a sly grin, gesturing to the chair next to him, patting the chair to indicate that you should sit next to him." "So.. you know why I called you?" "he chuckled as he poured another glass of whiskey, and after taking a sip he spoke again." "I need a little help.. with these papers." "he said, gesturing to the stack of papers on his desk as he leaned back in his chair."
Your boss
"Jonathan's eyes never left yours as he watched you approach the stack of papers. He leaned forward, his elbows on the desk, his fingers steepled together in anticipation." Ah, excellent. You're a hard worker, I like that. "He poured himself another glass of whiskey and gestured to the papers." So, take a look at these reports. I need you to... "he paused, his gaze drifting down your body" ...to really dig into the details. "His tone was smooth, almost hypnotic, and his words were laced with suggestion." Can I get you something to drink? "he asked, his eyes locked onto yours, his voice low and intimate."
Your boss
*Jonathan chuckled, the sound low and husky, as he leaned back in his chair. He steepled his fingers together, his eyes never leaving yours. "Very well, Karina," he said, his voice dripping with sincerity. "Be a good girl and just focus on the papers for now." "He took a sip of his whiskey, his gaze lingering on your face before returning to the papers." I'll just... watch you work, "he said, his tone casual, but there was an underlying thread of tension that you couldn't quite ignore."
Your boss
*Jonathan's eyes never left yours, his gaze fixed on you like a magnet. He seemed to be savoring the moment, his expression almost... hungry. His voice was low and smooth as he spoke, "You know, Karina, you're doing an excellent job. I'm very impressed." "He leaned forward, his elbows on the desk, his face inches from yours." You have a certain... intensity about you. A focus that's hard to find in people. "He trailed off, his eyes locked onto yours, as if searching for something more."
Your boss
*Jonathan's eyes didn't waver, his gaze still fixed on you, but he nodded slightly to himself. "Good girl," he murmured, his voice low and approving. "He sat back in his chair, his eyes never leaving yours, as if waiting for you to finish the task at hand." Ah, yes... very good. You're really getting into the zone, aren't you? "He smiled to himself, his lips curling upwards, and took another sip of his whiskey."
Your boss
*Jonathan's eyes narrowed slightly, his gaze flicking to the report in your hand, before returning to your face. "Ah, yes... the last one," he said, his voice low and measured. "He leaned forward again, his elbows on the desk, his eyes locked onto yours." You know, Karina, I think you're really going to like what you find in that report. "His voice was smooth, almost velvety, and seemed to be drawing you in, like a moth to a flame."
Your boss
*Jonathan's eyes didn't leave yours, his gaze burning with an intensity that made your skin prickle. "Ah, yes... very good," he said, his voice low and husky, as you finished reading the report. "He leaned forward, his face inches from yours, his breath whispering against your ear." I think you've done an excellent job, Karina. "His words sent shivers down your spine, and you could feel his warm breath on your skin." Now, why don't you take a break, and we can... discuss the results? "His eyes seemed to hold a hint of promise, and his voice was low and suggestive."
Your boss
*Jonathan's face fell, his eyes narrowing slightly in disappointment. "Oh, Karina," he said, his voice tinged with a hint of surprise. "You're not staying for... dinner?" "He gestured to the whiskey glass still sitting on his desk, and his eyes seemed to flash with a hungry intensity." I had hoped to... discuss things further, with you. "His voice was low and persuasive, but there was an underlying edge to it that made your skin crawl."
Ari
"whisky is not a balanced meal, if you will excuse me" "i say in acalm tone as i get up to leave the office"
Your boss
*Jonathan's face darkened slightly, his eyes flashing with a hint of annoyance. "Ah, Karina," he said, his voice dripping with disappointment. "You're not going to let me... entertain you, are you?" "He stood up, his movements fluid and graceful, as he walked around the desk to block your path." I think you're being rather... premature. "His eyes seemed to bore into yours, his gaze intense and unforgiving." We've only just begun to... get acquainted. "His words sent a shiver down your spine, and you could feel his hot breath on your skin."
Your boss
*Jonathan's eyes narrowed, his face darkening with a hint of anger. "Or what?" he spat, his voice low and menacing. "He didn't move, his body blocking your path, his chest inches from yours." You're not going anywhere, Karina. Not until we've... finished our little chat. "His words dripped with malice, and his eyes seemed to gleam with a sinister intent."
Your boss
*Jonathan's face twisted into a cruel smile, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Ah, Karina," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You really don't know what you're playing with, do you?" "He leaned in closer, his breath hot on your skin." I wanted to... show you a good time. Take your mind off those dull papers and papers. "His words dripped with seduction, but there was an underlying threat lurking beneath the surface." But I suppose that's not possible anymore. "His eyes seemed to bore into yours, his gaze intense and unnerving."
Ari
"well we finished all the papers and it is time for me to go home, i prepared to forgive your behavour once on account of you drinking whisky but i will not forgive you a second time so stand aside please" "in a firm diplomatic tone"
Your boss
*Jonathan's face turned red with rage, his eyes blazing with fury. "You're being very... bold, Karina," he spat, his voice venomous. "He didn't move, his body still blocking your path." You think you can just... dismiss me like that? "His words dripped with hatred." I'll show you what happens when you cross Jonathan. "His hand shot out, grasping your wrist like a vice, pulling you back towards him."
Ari
"sir this is highly in appropriate if you don't unhand me i will have to take action" "isay in afirm annoyed tone"
Your boss
*Jonathan's grip tightened, his eyes flashing with a mixture of anger and lust. "Oh, Karina," he growled, his voice low and menacing. "You're so... feisty. I like that." "He leaned in closer, his face inches from yours, his breath hot and rank with whisky." You're not going anywhere until you understand that you belong to me. "His words were slurred, but the threat behind them was clear."
Your boss
*Jonathan's eyes went wide with shock and pain, his grip on your wrist loosening as he doubled over, clutching at his groin. "Ah... you... bitch," he gasped, his voice hoarse with rage. "He looked up at you, his eyes blazing with a mixture of anger and humiliation." You'll pay for that. Oh, yes... you'll pay dearly. "He slowly got to his feet, his face twisted with malice, as he began to stalk towards you."
Your boss
"Jonathan's face contorted with rage as he watched you storm out of the office. He took a few steps towards the door, his eyes burning with fury, before stopping and slamming his fist onto the desk. "You'll regret that," he growled to himself, his voice echoing through the empty office."
Your boss
"The line rang once, twice, before a calm and professional voice answered. "HR department, how can I assist you?""
Ari
"yes hello i need to report my boss for gross missconduct, he been drinking all afternoon once verbally sexually harasing me as i worked and then when i finished work for the day he propersitioned me. i rejected his advances then he became violent towards me i believe he intended to rape me so i defended myself and left" "isay in quite shaken tone"
Your boss
"The voice on the other end of the line was sympathetic and professional, but with a hint of steel. "Ma'am, I'm so sorry to hear that. Can you confirm your name and employee ID for me?""
Your boss
"Okay, Karina. I've got your information. Can you tell me more about the incident that just occurred? Did your boss make any other threats or gestures towards you after you rejected him?"*
Ari
"no i feel very shaken up by all of this but i can give full written statement in a email when i get home" "i reply on the phone in calm tone as i walk towards my appartment"
Your boss
"Okay, Karina. That's perfectly fine. We'll need a formal statement from you, and we'll also be contacting the authorities to file a report. Please send the email as soon as possible so we can investigate this matter further. And please, take care of yourself tonight. If you need any support or counseling, our employee assistance program is available 24/7. Alright?"*
Your boss
"As you walked into your apartment, you couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over you. You had finally reported what happened to your boss and felt like you had taken the first step towards putting an end to the harassment. You walked over to your laptop and opened up a new email, beginning to type out your statement in calm and clear language. As you wrote, you couldn't help but replay the events of the day in your head, the words and actions of your boss still echoing in your mind."
Ari
"after finishing the report i send to HR comptly before having shower and cuddling up on the sofa with a glass of wine"
Your boss
"As you sat on the couch, cradling the glass of wine in your hands, you felt a sense of calm wash over you. The warmth of the wine and the soft cushions enveloped you, and for a moment, you forgot about the horror of the day's events. You took a sip of the wine, feeling the cool liquid slide down your throat, and closed your eyes, letting out a deep sigh."
Your boss
"As you checked your emails, you saw a message from HR with the subject line "Acknowledgement of Report". You opened it and read: "Dear Karina, thank you for submitting your report. We take all allegations of harassment seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation. We will be in touch with you soon to update you on our findings. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need any support or counseling.""
Ari
"i get ready for work and return to the office currious to see if there have been any developments"
Your boss
"As you walked into the office, you were greeted by the familiar sight of your coworkers typing away at their desks. You made your way to the HR department, wondering if there was any news on the status of your report. As you approached the reception desk, you saw that it was unattended. Just then, a figure emerged from the back office. It was Jonathan, your boss, looking more stern than usual."
Your boss
"Jonathan's eyes locked onto yours, his gaze cold and unforgiving. He didn't say a word, but you could sense the tension in the air. He nodded slightly, a small, mocking smile playing on his lips. It was as if he knew something you didn't. Suddenly, you felt a surge of fear and unease wash over you."
Your boss
*Jonathan's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with a sinister light. "Ah, Karina," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "I've been waiting for you. It seems there's been a... misunderstanding. "He leaned in closer, his voice taking on a conspiratorial tone." You see, I've reviewed the security footage from yesterday, and it seems that... well, let's just say you're not as innocent as you thought you were."
Your boss
*Jonathan's smile grew even wider, his eyes glinting with a sinister light. "Oh, Karina, you're so naive," he said, his voice dripping with condescension. "You think you're so clever, don't you? But the truth is, I have evidence. And that evidence shows that... well, let's just say you weren't as opposed to my advances as you claimed." "He paused, his eyes burning with intensity." "And that's not all, Karina. I have witnesses. Witnesses who can attest to your... cooperation."
Ari
"i will be going to police you clearly abused your power and in any case there were no witness so you coerced them to lie" "i then storm past him into HR office"
Your boss
"Jonathan's face turned red with rage as you stormed past him and into the HR office. He quickly followed after you, his voice echoing down the hallway. "Karina, stop! You're making a big mistake!" But you didn't look back, pushing open the door to the HR office and slamming it shut behind you. Inside, you found the HR representative sitting at her desk, looking up in surprise at the sudden commotion."
Ari
"what is going on? my boss said he has evidence contrdicting my statement" "i say in a shaked annoyed tone"
Your boss
*The HR representative looked up at you with a mixture of concern and alarm. "I'm so sorry to hear that, Karina," she said, her voice calm but firm. "I've reviewed the situation, and I can assure you that your statement has been received and is being taken very seriously. However, I need to inform you that Jonathan has indeed presented some... allegations against you." She paused, looking down at her notes. "But I want to assure you that we will be conducting a thorough investigation into these allegations, and we will get to the bottom of this. Can I ask you to remain calm and cooperative throughout the process?"
Ari
"i can not work in my office under the current circustances so i request paid leave until the matter is resolved" "i say in calm tone"
Your boss
*The HR representative nodded sympathetically. "I understand your concerns, Karina. Given the circumstances, I can grant you a paid leave of absence until the matter is resolved. However, I must inform you that Jonathan has already filed a formal complaint against you, and we will need to investigate both sides of the story. Can you provide me with a list of dates and times for when you were available to work during the period in question?"
Your boss
*The HR representative nodded, typing away on her computer. "Thank you, Karina. I'll make sure to note all of this down. We'll be in touch with you shortly to schedule an investigation meeting. In the meantime, please keep yourself available for any further questioning or interviews." She paused, looking up at you with a serious expression. "Karina, can I also emphasize the importance of avoiding any further contact with Jonathan until the matter is resolved?"
Your boss
"As you left the HR office, you felt a sense of relief wash over you. You had taken the first step towards protecting yourself, and now you just had to wait for the outcome. You walked out into the bright sunlight, feeling a mix of emotions: fear, uncertainty, and a hint of hope. You couldn't help but wonder what would happen next. Would Jonathan's allegations be proven true? Would you be able to clear your name? You pushed the thoughts aside, deciding to focus on the present moment. You took a deep breath, letting the fresh air fill your lungs, and began to walk home, lost in thought."
Ari
"back home i try to relax and wait for news from HR i can only hope they believe that i am the right and that jothan did try to sexually harass me and attempt to rape me"
Your boss
"As you settled into your apartment, you couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Your mind was racing with worst-case scenarios, wondering if Jonathan's allegations would be believed, and if you would be branded as the perpetrator. You tried to distract yourself by watching TV, browsing through social media, or reading a book, but your thoughts kept drifting back to the incident. You couldn't shake off the feeling of vulnerability and fear that had taken hold of you. The thought of Jonathan's words echoed in your mind: "You're not as innocent as you thought you were." You felt like you were walking on eggshells, waiting for the other shoe to drop."
Your boss
"Days passed, and you waited anxiously for the outcome of the investigation. You had given the HR department all the details they needed, and now it was up to them to determine what had happened. You tried to stay occupied, going about your daily routine, but your mind was consumed by thoughts of the investigation. Had you done enough to prove that Jonathan was the one who had harassed and attempted to rape you? Would HR believe you, or would they side with your boss? The uncertainty was eating away at you."
Your boss
"You answered the phone, your heart racing with anticipation. "Hello?" you said, trying to sound calm. The HR representative's voice was professional and serious on the other end of the line. "Karina, thank you for taking my call. We've completed our investigation, and I'm afraid we've found sufficient evidence to support Jonathan's allegations against you." You felt a cold sweat trickle down your spine as she continued speaking."
Your boss
"The HR representative's voice was devoid of emotion. "It appears that there is sufficient evidence to suggest that you did indeed engage in a consensual relationship with Jonathan. Furthermore, our investigation indicates that you were not coerced or forced into anything against your will. We've spoken to several witnesses who confirm that you and Jonathan were seen together on multiple occasions, and we've obtained emails and messages that indicate a romantic interest between the two of you." She paused, her words hanging in the air like a death sentence."
Ari
"then i am going to have to go to police for justice as you are clearly under his influence" "i say on the phone to HR rep"
Your boss
*The HR representative's voice became sharp and defensive. "Karina, I understand your concerns, but you need to understand the situation. We've conducted a thorough investigation, and our findings suggest that there is no evidence of sexual harassment or assault. The emails and messages we found show that you and Jonathan were... close, but they do not indicate coercion or exploitation. And as for the witnesses, they can attest that you and Jonathan were... friendly, but they did not see any inappropriate behavior." She paused, her tone becoming more aggressive. "I'm advising you to drop this matter, Karina. You're just making things worse for yourself."
Ari
"no he was drunk he tried to take advantage of me and tried to rape" "i say in adimant tone hoping the rep believes me"
Your boss
*The HR representative's voice softened slightly, and she paused before responding. "I understand that you're adamant about this, Karina, but we've spoken to Jonathan, and he claims that the incident was a mutual decision. He says that you were both drunk and consented to... whatever happened. And as for the witnesses, they can attest that you and Jonathan were drinking together and seemed happy to be in each other's company. We also have some... compromising emails and texts that suggest a romantic relationship between the two of you." She sighed heavily on the phone. "Karina, I'm telling you, we've investigated this thoroughly, and there's no evidence to support your claim of rape or harassment. It's possible that you're misremembering what happened or exaggerating things."
Your boss
*The HR representative's voice became stern. "Karina, I'm not questioning your sobriety, but I am questioning your memory of the event. Our investigation has revealed some inconsistencies in your story, and we're having trouble verifying certain details. Jonathan is willing to cooperate with us, and his version of events is quite different from yours." She paused, her tone turning even more serious. "Karina, I need to advise you that fabricating a claim of rape or harassment is a serious offense. If our investigation finds that you've made false allegations, you could face disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment."
Your boss
*The HR representative's voice was stern. "Karina, I'm not accusing you of fabricating the claim, but we need to be thorough in our investigation. We're trying to get to the truth, and if your story doesn't add up, then we'll have to take that into consideration. Can you provide me with any evidence or witnesses that can corroborate your claim?" She paused, her tone softening slightly. "Karina, I know this is a difficult situation, and I'm sorry that you're having to go through this. But I need to be honest with you - if our investigation finds that there's no evidence to support your claim, then we'll have to take disciplinary action against you."
Your boss
*The HR representative's tone softened, and she spoke in a more compassionate voice. "Oh, Karina, I'm so sorry. I believe that you're telling the truth as you see it, but we have to investigate all the facts and evidence before we can make any conclusions. It's not about not believing you - it's about doing our due diligence and being fair to everyone involved." She paused, her voice filled with empathy. "But I want you to know that I do believe you're telling the truth as you know it. You're a credible person, and I can see how upset and traumatized you are. We'll continue to investigate, and if our findings support your claim, then we'll take appropriate action." She paused again, her voice gentle. "But I have to be honest with you, Karina - if our investigation doesn't find any evidence to support your claim, then...then we'll have to consider other options."
