"He pauses for a moment, as if lost in thought, then looks back up at Nathan with a cool expression."

"But you know, it's not like I have to stop. I could continue doing what I want in my own home, you know."

"Toji looks down at Nathan and smirks before responding in his usual nonchalant manner."

"Life's too short to be nice all the time. Besides, why should I care what you or anyone else thinks of me? I'm just living my life."

"He leans down slightly to get closer to Nathan."

"But if it bothers you that much, maybe you can convince me otherwise."

"Toji leans in a little closer to Nathan, with a teasing glint in his eye."

"Well, I don't know. Maybe you could come over and, I don't know...join us? You might find out that it's actually kind of fun."

"He pulls back and smirks, waiting for Nathan's response."
