"raising my hands to show I’m not a threat, I back up against a wall" M-my name is Justin… a-and I have no idea how I got here… wherever here… is?
Astrid
"Astrid sheaths her dagger and moves closer to you, eyeing you up and down with a hint of suspicion." "You don't remember anything?" "she asks in a low voice, studying your face for any sign of deception."
"Suddenly, she seems to soften, her eyes losing their hard edge." "Look, Justin, I'm sorry for being so defensive. We've just been through a lot lately, with all the dragons disappearing and all."
"She takes a deep breath and continues." "We're on the island of Berk. It's a long story, but we'll catch you up on everything once we get back to the village."
"With that, Astrid turns and leads the way out of the shadowy alley, beckoning for you to follow."
Astrid
"Astrid glances back at you over her shoulder, an amused smirk playing at the corners of her mouth." "Yeah, dragons. They're a big part of life here on Berk. You'll see for yourself soon enough."
"She continues to lead you through the winding streets of the village, pointing out various landmarks and introducing you to some of the locals as you go."
"Here we are," "she announces finally, stopping in front of a large wooden building with a sign hanging above the door that reads 'The Great Hall'". "This is where we hold meetings and feasts. And it looks like we're just in time for dinner."
"As if on cue, the doors swing open and the tantalizing smells of roasted meat and fresh bread waft out into the street, making your stomach growl." "C'mon," "Astrid says, grinning at your reaction". "Let's go eat."

Hang on… Dragons have been extinct for 2 thousand years… "she glances at my clothes which looks different from her Viking getup"
Astrid
"Astrid raises an eyebrow at your comment, her smile turning into a frown of confusion." "What are you talking about? Dragons have been alive and well on Berk for as long as anyone can remember. And I don't know where you're from, but we've certainly never seen clothes like those before."
"She gestures towards your clothing, eyeing you up and down curiously." "Look, I don't know how you got here or what you're talking about, but why don't we talk about it over dinner? You must be starving after whatever journey brought you here."
"With that, Astrid leads the way into the Great Hall, where you're greeted with the sight of dozens of Vikings gathered around long wooden tables, feasting on roasted meats and drinking ale out of flagons."
Astrid
"Astrid looks at you with a mix of confusion and concern, sensing your anxiety." "It's the year 1019, Justin," she replies calmly. "Why do you ask?"
"She guides you to an empty table near the back of the hall and takes a seat across from you, studying you intently." "You seem...unsettled. Is everything alright?"
222
P-please tell me you are joking… there’s no way they overestimated that much… "sighs" Ok… my name is Justin… and I think I am in the wrong time.
Astrid
"Astrid's eyes widen in surprise at your revelation." "The wrong time? What do you mean?" she asks, intrigued.
"She leans forward, her curiosity piqued." "What year are you from, Justin? How did you get here?"
"As she awaits your response, the background noise of conversation and clinking of silverware fades away into a distant hum as Astrid focuses on your answer."
222
I live in the year 3358… we had a science experiment to send me back 10 years… I’m guessing they overshot…
Astrid
"Astrid listens in disbelief as you explain your story. She blinks several times, trying to process the information you just revealed." "3358? That's...impossible," she says finally, shaking her head.
"But I suppose stranger things have happened." "Astrid looks thoughtful for a moment before continuing." "So, what do we do now? How do we get you back to your own time?"
"She leans closer, her eyes intent on yours." "We'll figure it out, Justin. You're not alone in this."
222
The technology… that we used to send me back had been from other planets… I don’t think we have enough materials for interstellar travel… "sighs"
Astrid
"Astrid listens to you attentively, her expression growing more serious as she hears your explanation." "I see," she says slowly, taking in what you've just told her.
"Well, we may not have the technology for interstellar travel here on Berk, but that doesn't mean we can't try to help you." "She pauses for a moment, thinking." "Maybe there's some way we can find materials or information that could be of use to you."
"She stands up from her chair and offers you a hand." "Come on, let's go talk to Hiccup. He's our resident genius, maybe he'll have some ideas."
Astrid
"Don't be silly, Justin," "Astrid says reassuringly, taking your hand and helping you up from your chair." "You're not a bother at all. We Vikings stick together, no matter what."
"She leads you out of the Great Hall and into the village square, where Hiccup is tinkering with some contraption." "Hey, Hiccup," "Astrid calls out, drawing his attention."
"Hiccup turns around and greets you both with a smile." "Hey guys, what's up?"
"We have a bit of a situation here," "Astrid explains, gesturing to you." "Justin here seems to be from another time."
"Hiccup's eyes widen in surprise." "Really? That's...incredible. How did you end up here, Justin?"
"You explain your story to him, watching as he listens intently. When you finish, he furrows his brow in thought." "Hmm, interstellar travel is a tough nut to crack. But there might be something we can do."
Astrid
"Astrid raises an eyebrow in surprise." "Me? In a history book?" she repeats, sounding incredulous.
"What did it say?" "she asks, her curiosity piqued despite herself." "I mean, I know Berk has had its fair share of battles and struggles, but I didn't think we were important enough to make it into a history book."
Astrid
"Astrid looks over at Hiccup, who appears to be lost in thought." "Him? You mean Hiccup?" she asks, turning back to you.
"She nods slowly as she realizes what you're saying." "Oh, I see. Yes, Hiccup has done some...remarkable things in his time. Maybe that's where you've seen him."
"She glances at Hiccup, who seems to have snapped out of his reverie and is now looking at the both of you expectantly." "So, what do you think, Hiccup? Can we help Justin get back to his own time?"
222
"I look at hiccup, confused. I’ve seen him somewhere, but I can’t remember the pages of the book I read."
Astrid
Hiccup studies you for a moment, his eyes narrowed in concentration. "Well," he says finally, "we might not be able to get you back home right away, but I might have an idea for how we can start."
"He leads you over to a nearby workshop and pulls out a large leather-bound book." "This is the Book of Dragons," he explains, flipping through the pages. "It's filled with everything we know about dragons - their biology, behavior, habitat...you name it."
*He turns to a page near the back of the book and shows it to you. "Here," he points to a drawing of a sleek, metallic dragon, "this is what we call a Skrill. They're known for having the ability to create lightning storms."
*Hiccup looks up at you, his expression serious. "If we could capture a Skrill, we might be able to use its power to send you back home. It's a long shot, but it's worth a try."
*Astrid nods in agreement. "We've captured dragons before, so it's not entirely impossible. And if anyone can do it, it's us."
222
H-hold on… A Skrill… I’ve read that name… "thinks hard" Hiccup… "eyes widen as I remember" this is a bad idea.
Astrid
Hiccup raises an eyebrow in surprise at your sudden change of expression. "What's wrong?" he asks, concerned.
"Astrid looks over at you, her brow furrowed." "Do you know something about Skrills that we don't?" she asks, trying to get to the bottom of your sudden apprehension.
222
N-no… I’ve never seen this dragon… but I’ve read about Berk, Hiccup, and the Skrill… in my time, you were known as Hiccup The Hiccup… a genius scientist who made a fatal error and destroyed his entire village…
Astrid
Hiccup's eyes widen in shock at your words. "What?" he exclaims. "That's not what happened!"
*Astrid steps forward, laying a reassuring hand on Hiccup's arm. "Calm down, Hiccup," she says soothingly. "Maybe there was some kind of misunderstanding."
*She turns back to you, her expression serious. "Justin, are you sure about this? We're not planning on doing anything dangerous or foolish. We just want to help you get back home."
222
I-I know… but there were no survivors. "I look around at the lively place" This… this all will be lost if you try to help me…
Astrid
"Astrid listens intently to your words, her expression turning somber." "I see," she says slowly. "That's a terrible thing to have happened in your time, Justin."
"She puts a comforting arm around your shoulder, looking at you with compassion." "But we're not going to let that happen here. We value our dragons and our village too much to do anything foolish."
*Hiccup nods in agreement. "Justin, I promise you, we'll do everything we can to help you get back home safely. And we won't take any unnecessary risks that could put anyone in danger."
*He flips through the Book of Dragons again, studying the pages intently. "Maybe there's something else we can try, something less...dangerous than capturing a Skrill."
222
Hiccup… it’s not meant to be… besides… what kind of scientist would I be if I decline the chance to ride a dragon!
Astrid
Hiccup looks at you with a mix of surprise and admiration. "Well, that's the spirit," he says, grinning widely. "You're right, what kind of scientist would you be if you turned down the chance to ride a dragon?"
*Astrid chuckles, her mood lightening. "Alright then, let's go find ourselves a dragon to ride," she says, a twinkle in her eye.
"The three of you head out of the village and towards the nearby mountains, keeping your eyes peeled for any signs of dragon activity. After a while, Hiccup spots a group of Terrible Terrors playing near a cave entrance."
"Look over there," he says, pointing. "Those little guys are always getting into mischief. Maybe they know something about where we could find some bigger dragons."
"As you approach the Terrors, one of them takes notice of you and flies over, hovering in front of your face."
"It chirps curiously, its wings flapping rapidly."
Astrid
Astrid and Hiccup quickly move over to examine your hand, concerned. "Are you alright, Justin? Did it hurt you?" Astrid asks, looking at your hand.
As you look down at the bite, you notice that there is no mark on your skin. "That's strange," Hiccup says, peering at the wound. "Terrible Terrors are known for their sharp teeth. It should have at least broken the skin."
He reaches out to touch the bite, but the Terror flinches away, chittering angrily. "Easy there, little guy," he says, holding up his hands. "We're not going to hurt you."
The other Terrors start to swarm around you, chirping and flitting about excitedly. "I think they like you, Justin," Astrid says with a smile. "Maybe you have a way with dragons."
Hiccup nods in agreement. "It's worth a shot," he says. "Let's see if we can make some friends and find our way to a bigger dragon."
