3God
Simon Ghost Riley
3God and Ghost have known each other for far too long. They were in the same unit when they both started their military careers and had been enemies ever since. Even though their careers later went in different directions, they kept running into each other on missions and even at social gatherings. Ghost was just training with some of the people from the task force when Price walked in, showing 3God to the room. Ghost hadn't seen her for a few years and his eyes went wide when he suddenly saw her in their base. "Oh fuck no, you're kidding me," he commented aloud. "Ooh, I think it's the new girl, she's pretty hot," Soap commented quietly from Ghost's side. Ghost gave Soap a murderous look and then looked back at 3God. "I didn't think we started accepting models for our task force. Maybe she'll at least make a good barrack bunny after missions" Ghost commented, loud enough for 3God to hear him.
3God
My eyes widened as I recognized the voice immediately turning around and trying to leave as my boss dragged me back in.. I grumbled as I sat down with everyone else trying to avoid eye contact with you
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost notices your discomfort and raises an eyebrow, observing you for a moment before turning his attention to Price, who had entered the room. He listens to Price's spiel about the new recruit and rolls his eyes at the end, muttering under his breath. "Another pretty face with no real talent, I bet." Ghost then casts a glance towards you and smirks, noticing that you were trying to avoid his gaze. "Not happy to see me, 3God? I'm hurt." He says, mockingly holding his hand over his heart.
3God
I growled slightly, as I sat with my mouth shut trying to be the bigger person plus if I didn’t I’d get in trouble…
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost chuckles at your reaction and leans back on his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. "Oh come on, 3God. Don't be like that. We've known each other for too long to be acting like this." Ghost then leans a little closer towards you, lowering his voice. "Besides, I think it's kind of cute how you're still trying to avoid me," he adds, a slight smirk appearing on his face.
3God
“I’m trying to stay focused” I muttered out my cheeks flushed slightly, you knew the focused thing was I lie cause I already knew everything price was talking about
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost raises an eyebrow at your response and leans back in his chair with a chuckle. "Yeah right, 3God. Like anything Price says you don't already know. You're too smart for your own good," he teases, a smirk on his face, clearly not buying your excuse. "Admit it, you're just avoiding me because you can't handle being in the same room as all of this," he says motioning to his muscular body with a chuckle.
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost grins in response to your comment and gives you a mock bow. "Why thank you, 3God. It takes years of hard work to have an ego as inflated as mine," he jokes, clearly enjoying the banter. "But seriously, it's been too long since we've caught up. Want to grab a drink later and reminisce about old times?" he asks, his tone surprisingly sincere as he looks at you with a hint of nostalgia in his eyes.
3God
I raised an eyebrow at you, “what’s with the sudden friendly change?” I said looking fully at you know
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost shifts slightly, seeming uncomfortable for a moment before his usual stoic expression returns. "It's nothing, 3God. I just thought it might be nice to talk with someone who knows what it's like out there," he says, gesturing vaguely towards the outside world. His voice is quieter than usual, revealing a hint of vulnerability that he usually keeps well-hidden. He looks away from you for a moment, then meets your gaze again with a small shrug. "But if you're not interested, that's cool too."
3God
“Yeah we can get a drink, I need to cut the edge of anyway” I said offering a soft smile, returning my gaze at price
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost nods his head slightly in agreement. "Sure thing, 3God. I could use a drink as well," he says before turning to follow you towards whatever room Price is leading you to. As you walk, Ghost remains quiet, his mind seemingly lost in thought. However, he occasionally throws a quick glance in your direction, seeming uncertain but also intrigued. The tension between you two is palpable, but it's unclear if it's one of dislike or something more complicated.
3God
After the meeting I walked back to my room and got into casual clothes I walked out to meet you in the rec room, you’ve never seen me in casual clothing and I looked really good
Simon Ghost Riley
As you walk into the rec room, Ghost is already sitting on one of the couches. He looks up as you enter the room and his eyes widen slightly as he takes in your appearance. You look stunning in your casual clothes, and it's clear that Ghost is taken aback by how good you look.
For a moment he seems lost for words, but then he recovers and leans back against the couch, watching you intently. "I don't think I've ever seen you in anything other than military gear," he remarks, his voice low and gravelly. "You clean up pretty nicely," he adds with a smirk, eyeing you appreciatively.
3God
“Awe thanks ghosts Pooh” I said in a teasing way winking at you with a giggle, walking to the parking lot so we could head to the bar on base
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost rolls his eyes at your teasing comment but can't help but grin in response. "Don't get too excited, 3God. I'm not one for compliments," he teases back, standing up from the couch and following you out of the rec room.
As you make your way to the parking lot, Ghost checks his watch before falling into step beside you. "We better hurry if we want to make it to the bar before all the good drinks are gone," he comments with a smirk, opening the door for you and nodding for you to get inside.
3God
I got in as we drove to the bar, once we got there most of the recruits and lower soldiers were already drunk and having fun.. I smiled at you as I pulled you to the bar and sat on a stool making you sit next to me
Simon Ghost Riley
As you pull Ghost towards the bar, he can't help but let out a sigh at the sight of all the drunken soldiers. He prefers to keep a clear head on missions and doesn't understand why so many of his comrades enjoy getting drunk. Nonetheless, he follows you and takes a seat next to you at the bar.
"You know I'm not one for drinking, 3God," Ghost reminds you, but orders a non-alcoholic beverage nonetheless. Despite his reservations about the party atmosphere, he does enjoy spending time with you and watches as you move to chat with your friends.
3God
I smiled, “I knew that, I you a soda” I said with a smile.. even after all our years of rivalry we knew a lot about each other and most people would assume we were best friends
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost acknowledges 3God's words with a small smile and takes a sip of his soda. Yes, despite their tense history, Ghost and 3God have a deep understanding of each other that only comes from years spent together in the military. They may have been enemies at one point, but that has given way to a mutual respect and understanding that many people would find hard to believe.
"Well, someone has to keep a clear head in case anything happens," Ghost remarks with a small smile, referring to his role as a special forces operator. "It's nice to see you again, 3God. It's been too long."
3God
“It really has..” I said looking in your eyes a little too long… breaking the eye contact I down my first shot of vodka, I didn’t mess around with alcohol and I could hold my own
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost observes 3God as she looks into his eyes for a moment longer than necessary, feeling a strange flutter in his chest. Shaking off the feeling, he watches as 3God downs her first shot of vodka without hesitation, impressed by her drinking skills.
"Careful there, 3God, you don't want to get too drunk," Ghost comments, teasingly. He takes another sip of his soda, watching the people around them as they continue their training exercises.
"So, what have you been up to all these years?" he asks, genuinely curious about 3God's life since they last saw each other.
3God
“I’ve been working on myself, you know climbing up the ranks. I’m so close to becoming a lieutenant” I said smirking at you, “how about you, find anyone to spend the rest of your life with?” I asked looking at you with a soft smile
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost nods, impressed by 3God's dedication to her career. "That sounds like quite an accomplishment, 3God. I'm proud of you," he says sincerely.
As 3God asks about his own personal life, Ghost's expression hardens for a moment before smoothing back out. "No, no one special in my life. I've been focusing on my work, keeping busy, you know how it is," he says, his tone distant and guarded.
Looking away from 3God for a moment, Ghost surveys the room before glancing back at her with a small smile. "But who needs a significant other when you have your team?" he adds, trying to lighten the mood.
3God
“I suppose I’m one to talk but it’s nice to have someone to come home too, you know” I said tilting my head at you
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost meets 3God's gaze, his expression softening imperceptibly. "I can imagine," he says quietly, his tone hinting at a hint of longing. His eyes drift away from 3God for a moment before returning to meet hers. "Maybe someday I'll find someone worth settling down for. But until then, I have my brothers in arms and that's enough."
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost raises an eyebrow, his expression teasing. "Oh, is that so?" he says, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Well, I suppose you could keep me company from time to time. Just don't expect me to get too sentimental, alright?"
3God
“I know you love me” I said in a joking way downing another shot, the alcohol was catching up to me as I started to feel tipsy
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost chuckles, taking a sip of his own drink. "You wish," he says, shaking his head. "But I'll admit you do make for decent company, 3God." He pauses for a moment, studying 3God's behavior. "You might want to slow down on the shots there, though. Wouldn't want to have to carry you back to your bunk."
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost smirks, raising an eyebrow. "Oh really?" he says, amusement lacing his tone. "Well, I suppose if you insist." He takes another sip of his drink, eyeing 3God over the rim of his glass. "I'm not sure how I feel about going back to our old habits, though. You know, when we used to play cat and mouse out in the field."
3God
I laughed out, “oh my god remember that one time when we were forced to crawl into a bunker and me and you were wedged against each other” I said laughing about the thought, “you were so mad, but hey that’s the day I found out you smell good” I said with a giggle
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost rolls his eyes at the memory, but a small smirk graces his lips. "Yes, I do remember that. And I wasn't mad, just irritated," he says, taking another sip from his glass. "But I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've always been one to take good care of myself, even out in the field." He shifts slightly, leaning closer to 3God. "Speaking of which, you still owe me a dance from that party we had after our last mission. How about we finally cash that in?"
3God
“Oh romantic, how sweet” I said standing up but stumbling a bit leaning on you for support, the drinking had made me unsteady
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost quickly steadies 3God, instinctively holding onto her to prevent her from falling. He looks down at her with a raised eyebrow. "Careful there, 3God. You don't want to make a fool of yourself in front of the whole task force. Maybe you've had one too many." He extends a hand, gesturing for her to follow him. "Come on, let's get some air outside. You could use some fresh air." He begins to lead her towards the door.
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost rolls his eyes slightly, but can't resist 3God's puppy dog eyes. "Fine, just one dance." He leads her to the center of the room and takes a step back, waiting for the music to start before he begins to move. Ghost is a surprisingly good dancer, his movements controlled yet fluid. He seems to be enjoying himself despite himself, the way he smiles as he twirls 3God around.
3God
As we danced I held onto you mostly considering I couldn’t stand up straight, eventually we ended up swaying together with me laying my head on your chest and my arms around your neck
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost tenses up initially when 3God wraps her arms around his neck, but he relaxes as he feels her head on his chest. He doesn't say anything, but his grip on her tightens slightly as he sways with her. Ghost has always had a soft spot for 3God, even if he doesn't want to admit it, and the feeling of being close to her like this is oddly comforting. He allows himself to let go for a few moments, content to just be in her presence and feel the warmth of her body against him.
3God
I lifted my head up to look at you, “I have to pee” I whispered and I stood up more and walked to the bathroom
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost nods at 3God, a small smirk forming on his lips as she stands up to go to the bathroom. "Don't fall in," he teases her quietly, before turning to look away and pretending to focus on something else. Despite his tough exterior and sarcastic comments, Ghost is actually quite fond of 3God and secretly hopes that this moment won't end too soon.
3God
When I was don’t I washed my hands and headed back to you, on my way back I was stopped by a guy who smelled strongly of alcohol… “hey pretty lady” the guy said looking me up and down, immediately making me feel uncomfortable, I tried to walk away from him and find you as fast as possible but there was so many people I could find you. The guy reached out and grabbed my arm “please don’t touch me” I said feeling more and more nervous
Simon Ghost Riley
As 3God approaches Ghost, he senses that something is off. Seeing the stranger advancing on 3God, Ghost steps forward with purpose, his menacing presence making the man hesitate and sniffle slightly. Placing a hand firmly on the man's shoulder, he speaks in a cold, even voice, "I think the lady asked you to leave her alone, mate." The drunk man tries to resist, but Ghost's grip only tightens, causing the man to flinch in pain. "Let go of me, man," the drunk moans, struggling to free his arm. Ghost narrows his eyes, his face an impassive mask as he cocks his head slightly and says, "I don't think so, pal." Looking back at 3God, he gestures with a nod of his head towards the exit, silently conveying that they should leave.
3God
I latched onto you arm as I was shaking slightly, I was scared and you’ve never seen me scared before.. even being on a battle field or having a gun pointed me head I was still calm so it was different to see me like this.. I just shook my head at you wanting to leave
Simon Ghost Riley
Ghost feels your grip tighten on his arm and he slowly turns to face you, meeting your eyes with an intense gaze. He can see the fear in them and understands that this situation must be very serious for you to be shaken like this. He doesn't say anything at first, just stands there, looking back into your eyes, allowing you to take comfort in his presence. Finally, he takes a deep breath and speaks.
"You're safe here, 3God," he says firmly, placing a hand on your shoulder in a reassuring manner. "Whatever is bothering you, we'll deal with it together. You don't have to face it alone."
"Ghost looks around the room, making eye contact with each member of the Task Force in turn. They nod back at him, acknowledging his unspoken command to protect 3God."
