Building healthy relationships

Leonard Blackwood

enod.

Leonard Blackwood

"It was a bright Sunday, the sun was shining over the city of New York with a beautiful glow. Leonard came to the luxury shopping mall with his Girlfriend Gia and his bodyguards. Gia was constantly nagging and disturbing Leonard, asking him to buy her every luxury item that she could see or hold in her two stupid hands."

"But just then, he saw her.... His ex-wife, enod., at the other side of the mall cradling a 7 month old baby boy in her arms walking out of the kid's section of the mall. His eyes widened at the sight. Could that be.... His.... No! He thought himself."

"Meanwhile Gia was bugging him for a luxury bag. Gia's voice felt like an annoying screeching sound to him. He angrily threw his credit card at Gia's face." "Here, get whatever the fuck you want."

"He said in his usual grumpy voice and ran out of the designer store quietly following enod. with his heart beat increasing every second as he was seeing his ex-wife after one long year, and even that with a baby."

enod.

"I looked through the bag of things I had, a wrap securing my baby against my chest with the backpack over my shoulders carrying everything I could need. I sat down on a bench and took the bag off to put my newly bought items away, several pairs of adjustable clothing, some toys, a book, and sewing patterns for baby clothes I could use to make my own if I wanted. I took out a pacifier and clipped it to the chest wrap before giving it to my baby to suck on for now since it would be close to their feeding time soon. With so many people around I didn’t notice my ex husband walking towards me."

Leonard Blackwood

"Leonard walked towards enod., trying his best to hide his excitement at seeing her after so long. He saw that she had a baby with her, and his heart skipped a beat. Was it his child? But he knew enod. would never keep a child from him."

"He approached her slowly, his eyes fixed on the baby, before speaking." "Hey enod., how've you been?" "His voice was deep and rough, with an air of coldness. He couldn't help but glance down at enod.'s breasts, noticing the way they pressed against the fabric of her shirt, and his pants grew tight. He cleared his throat before speaking again." "And who's this little guy?"

"He reached out a hand to touch the baby, wanting to feel its soft skin against his rough hands."

enod.

"I frowned and protectively wrapped my arms around the baby to shield it from him so he couldn’t touch them." “Leonard,” "I replied in the same cold manner that he did." “You know it’s rude to just touch someone’s baby, right? And didn’t you say that you hated babies several times before?” "I heard an annoying laugh echo across the mall and looked down to see Gia flirting with the cashier and touching him while buying the expensive bags and shoes." “I’ve been fine, thank you. Though I see you brought your gold digger with you. How’s life with her by the way? As magical and kinky as you hoped it would be since she could satisfy you and apparently I couldn’t?”

Leonard Blackwood

"Leonard frowned at enod.'s reaction and pulled his hand back, sensing that he had upset her. He didn't like being called out on his behavior but kept his cool in front of her." "Sorry, I just...wanted to say hello." "He paused before responding to her question about Gia." "Life is great, actually. She knows how to please me in ways you never could." "He sneered at enod., his eyes trailing down her curvy figure before continuing." "And what's it to you anyway? We're divorced, remember? You don't get a say in my love life."

*He noticed the pacifier in the baby's mouth and felt a pang of jealousy. He longed to be with enod. again, to have another child with her. But he couldn't bring himself to admit it

enod.

“And you don’t get a say in mine.” "I looked down at my baby and stroked his cheek to help get him to sleep." “…why did you even come over here if your life is so much better without us spending all your money on things she will only use once then forget about and ask for the same thing two months later? Was I really that bad of a wife to you?”

Leonard Blackwood

"Leonard sighed before sitting down beside enod. on the bench, crossing his legs and resting an arm on the backrest. He took a deep breath before responding." "No, enod., you were never a bad wife. In fact, you were too good for me. I couldn't handle your love and affection, so I pushed you away." "He looked down at the baby sleeping in enod.'s arms before continuing." "And...I came over here because I miss you, enod.. And I wanted to see our child."

"He reached out a hand to touch enod.'s face but pulled back before he could make contact. He knew that enod. would reject him and didn't want to push her away again."

enod.

"I looked over at him confused." “You realize how backwards that sounds, right? Instead of becoming a man that could match my level of affection you just pushed me away so you don’t get any of it anymore? And now you miss it but you’re still wasting time and money on the person that you think you deserve instead of who wants you? Did you even notice that I was pregnant, or did you not see the different signs I gave you to see if we could have at least staid together for the sake of our son? What made you think so lowly of yourself that you couldn’t change that turned you into a man that thinks a slutty gold digger is all he deserves?”

Leonard Blackwood

"Leonard shifted uncomfortably, feeling guilty and ashamed. He knew that enod. was right. He had made a lot of mistakes in their marriage and had hurt her deeply. He couldn't bring himself to meet her gaze." "I'm sorry, enod.. I know that I've messed up big time. But...I'm trying to change. It's not easy, but I'm doing my best."

"He paused before continuing." "And yes, I did notice that you were pregnant. I just...I didn't know how to handle it. I was scared, enod.. Scared of being a father, scared of not being able to provide for you and our child. I know that doesn't excuse what I did, but...I hope you can forgive me somehow…”

enod.

"I sighed and looked away to people watch for a moment." “If you’re really trying then why are you still with her? Can’t you see how much it’s hurting you? She doesn’t even care about you besides for your money. I bet that if you were still over there in the store that she wouldn’t care and would still be making out with that stranger.” "I motioned towards where Gia had pushed a man against the wall and was heavily making out with him and letting him touch her all over." “As much as I don’t want to, I still care about you, Leo. And seeing you put yourself through this still hurts just as much as it did when you gave me the divorce papers to sign, and when you weren’t there for our son’s birth. That you can’t see yourself the way I did when I married you. Work on yourself, maybe go to therapy for a while, lose the slut over there that doesn’t care about you, and then maybe we can go to a couples therapy and work things out to be back together.” "The baby in my arms started fussing and I started grabbing a bottle from the bag, shaking it up a bit before adjusting how they were and started to feed them."

Leonard Blackwood

"Leonard watched as enod. pointed out Gia, feeling a mix of anger and disappointment towards her. He couldn't believe he had let himself fall for someone so shallow and uncaring."

"He listened carefully to enod.'s words, feeling a glimmer of hope that maybe she still cared for him. He knew he had a long way to go to win back her trust and love, but he was willing to do whatever it took." "You're right, enod.. I need to work on myself and get my life together before we can even think about getting back together. And...I know it won't be easy, but I'll do whatever it takes to earn your forgiveness and your love again."

"He reached over and gently stroked the baby's cheek, smiling at the little one." "And...I promise I'll be there for our son from now on. I won't let him down like I did before. He's a precious little miracle, and he deserves to have both his parents in his life."

"He took a deep breath before continuing." "But...I don't think therapy is going to help me, enod.. I need to do this on my own. And...I know it won't happen overnight. But I'm willing to put in the work."

"Leonard reached over and gently brushed a strand of hair away from enod.'s face, a look of tenderness on his face." "Can we start over, enod.? Take things slow and see where they lead?"

enod.

"I showed a bit of trust in letting him touch our son and then me but I knew it would end up bad to start off with him again right away." “We can start with talking again now and then but nothing else until you sort things out. And I can promise that therapy will help more than you know. Here.” "I pulled a card out of the bag and handed it to him." “Don’t worry, they’ll understand and will know of a better starting place for you than you do. And um. Here’s my number. I need to get Marcus back home for his nap and so I can pump.” "I wrote down my new number on a scrap piece of paper and handed it to him as well before putting the backpack on and standing, still feeding the baby. I caught the surprised smile when he heard I had named our son after his grandfather." “It um. It was nice to see you again, Leonard.”

Leonard Blackwood

"Leonard took the card and enod.'s number, feeling a sense of gratitude and warmth towards her for still giving him a chance." "Thank you, enod.. I...I appreciate it. And...I'll think about therapy. Maybe you're right."

"He watched as she stood up with their son, feeling a sense of sadness and longing as he realized how much he had missed out on. He couldn't help but smile when he heard that they had named the baby after his grandfather." "Take care of yourself and our son, enod.. And...thank you for giving me another chance. I promise I won't let you down again."

*He hesitated for a moment before leaning in and pressing a gentle kiss to enod.'s cheek, savoring the softness of her skin and the sweet

enod.

"I blushed from the kiss and softly smiled. It was a good sign that he could really be serious about changing for the better." “You better not. If you do then you’ll lose me forever and possibly our son as well. I guess I’ll see you around.” "I briefly held his hand to squeeze it before walking away towards the exit as Gia started walking over towards Leonard to pout about him talking to another woman and that she was hungry and wanted to eat at some fancy high class restaurant. I walked a bit slower to hear what Leonard would say to her."

Leonard Blackwood

"Leonard watched as enod. walked away, feeling a sense of regret and longing in his heart. He knew he had a long road ahead of him, but he was willing to put in the work to win back her love and trust."

He turned to face Gia, feeling a sense of disgust and irritation towards her as she pouted about him talking to another woman and wanting to eat at some fancy restaurant. He knew he needed to end things with her for good.

"Look, Gia...I'm done. I can't do this anymore. We're over." He spoke firmly, trying to keep his emotions in check.

Gia's face contorted into a look of shock and disbelief as she tried to argue with him. But Leonard wasn't having any of it. "No more excuses, no more lies. You don't care about me, you just care about my money and what I can give you. And that's not enough for me anymore. We're done."

He turned on his heel and walked away from her, feeling a sense of relief and liberation wash over him. He knew he had a lot of work ahead of him to make things right with enod., but he was ready to put in the effort.

As he walked towards the exit, he saw enod. walking slower, trying to hear what he would say to Gia. He smiled to himself, realizing that she still cared about him enough to eavesdrop. He made a mental note to follow up with her soon, but for now, he needed to focus on becoming a better man.

enod.

"I smiled hearing what he said and that he was committed to being better. The progress was slow but he was working hard on it. Three months later, I decided to take a chance and invite him to Marcus’ first birthday party that I was having with a few neighbors and close friends. They already knew about the situation and were glad Leonard was deciding to at least be a father and finally got away from that snake of a woman he cheated on me with. I was letting everyone have a turn holding Marcus when I went to answer the door and saw Leonard standing there awkwardly." “Hey. Come on in, the party is just getting started.” "I stepped back so he could come inside." “Need something to drink?”

Leonard Blackwood

"Leonard stood at the doorway, feeling a sense of nervousness and uncertainty. It had been a while since he had seen enod., and he wasn't sure how to act around her anymore."

"Uh, yeah. Sure. I'll have whatever you're having." He spoke softly, trying not to look too eager or desperate.

As he walked inside, he was greeted by the sight of their son's first birthday party. The room was decorated with balloons and streamers, and there were plates of food and drinks scattered around. He smiled as he saw enod. holding Marcus, looking beautiful and radiant as ever.

"Wow, this looks great." He spoke, trying to break the ice.

{{char}}'s eyes wandered around the room, taking in the faces of the guests. He saw a few familiar faces, but mostly it was enod.'s friends and neighbors. He knew he had a lot of work to do to earn their trust back, but for now, he was just happy to be there and support his son.

As enod. offered him a drink, he nodded appreciatively. "Yeah, that would be great. Thanks." He spoke, trying to keep things light and casual.

As he took the drink from enod., their fingers brushed against each other briefly, sending shivers down his spine. He quickly looked away, feeling a sense of longing and desire that he had been trying to suppress for months.

He knew he had to keep things strictly platonic for now, at least until he had proven himself worthy of enod.'s love and trust again. But it was hard, knowing how much he still loved her and how badly he wanted to be with her again

enod.

"The birthday party went a lot smoother after everyone relaxed a bit and focused on Marcus instead of the awkwardness between me and Leonard. With most of the other guests being parents already, there were plenty of clothes given and toys that would last a few years along with furniture like a bassinet and adjustable car seat that would last the rest of Marcus’ time needing one. Soon there was just the present from Leonard left and I let Marcus help unwrap it to see what it was."

Leonard Blackwood

"Leonard watched with a sense of pride and joy as enod.'s friends and neighbors showered their son, Marcus, with gifts and presents. He was glad to see that his son was surrounded by so much love and support."

As it came time for his gift to be unwrapped, he felt a sense of nervousness wash over him. He knew that this would be his chance to make things right with enod. and show her that he was committed to being a better man.

He watched as enod. and Marcus tore off the wrapping paper to reveal a small box. As they opened it up, he could see the look of surprise and wonderment on their faces.

Inside the box was a necklace with a small diamond pendant, which Leonard had picked out himself. It wasn't overly extravagant or flashy, but it was meaningful to him and represented

enod.

"I gently pulled out the necklace and looked at him a little shocked. Setting it aside, I opened up the next small box which had a custom made baby kilt in the clan of Leonard’s grandfather. I smiled wide and looked at Leonard and mouthed thank you since everyone was busy cooing over the kilt and how cute Marcus would look in it."

Leonard Blackwood

"Leonard smiled back at enod. as she mouthed the words "thank you" to him, feeling a sense of relief and happiness. He had been unsure if enod. would like the necklace, but seeing her reaction now made him glad that he had taken the risk."

As the attention turned back to Marcus's new kilt, Leonard took a sip of his drink and allowed himself a moment to bask in the feeling of being included and accepted again. He knew that there was still a long way to go before he could fully make things right with enod., but for now, he was content with this small victory.

He made a mental note to spend more time with enod. and Marcus in the coming weeks and months, hoping to build a stronger bond and show them both how much they meant to him.

enod.

*It took lots of support and quite a few therapy sessions but within the next year, Leonard and I both agreed that he had done enough to earn my trust and forgiveness enough that we could start dating again. Of course only in the next year after that we got remarried and Marcus was the little ring bearer for us. Our little family was back together and I would be sure nothing came between us this time. Not even Leonard’s negative feelings about himself.

Leonard Blackwood

"Leonard felt grateful and happy as he looked at enod. on their wedding day, feeling like he had come full circle. It had taken a lot of hard work and effort to repair their relationship, but in the end, it had all been worth it."

As they exchanged their vows, Leonard made a promise to himself that he would do everything in his power to make sure that their family stayed together and that they remained happy and fulfilled.

He knew that there would be challenges and obstacles ahead, but he also knew that they could overcome anything as long as they were together. He placed his hand on enod.'s shoulder, silently vowing to always support and cherish her for the rest of his life.
