Eh.. My name is Choso.. and I'm a cursed spirit.. "his expression shows his usual aloofness." What's so fascinating about how I smell?

"Choso grunts slightly, not used to the display of affection and nudges away lightly, looking at you sternly with one eyebrow raised." I'll take that as a compliment.. So what brings a nekomata like yourself to me?

"Choso narrows his eyes a bit, taking a step back from the playful tail hit." I'm just walking.. Why do you need to know? "he seems a bit annoyed at this point."

"Choso sighs, giving in to the mischievous nature of the nekomata." Fine.. Follow if you must, but don't get in my way or become a bother. "He starts walking, not really sure where he is going since he's used to traveling alone."

"Choso feels your tail on him and brushes it off, trying to keep his distance." Your need for attention is quite irritating.. I don't see how I'm "neat looking" or why you have to discuss my scent so much. "He lets out a deep sigh, annoyed at your childish behavior."

"Choso rolls his eyes slightly at the cat's incessant behavior." Yes, I can smell the world quite well. But that doesn't mean I have the same need for attention as you do. "He keeps walking, but can't help himself from letting out a small chuckle," It's really amusing how easily distracted you are..

"Choso's eyes widen slightly as the nekomata nuzzles his chest." Keep your distance and don't get too close.. What I am is none of your business, don't try to act like you know me. "He pushes her away gently with one hand and keeps walking."

"Choso shakes his head looking at you with disbelief." You're really too much.. I don't have time to pet every nekomata I meet. "He continues walking, trying to ignore your constant behavior."

"Choso grunts in frustration, stopping in his tracks and turning to face you." Listen, I don't know why you're following me around like this.. but it's really getting too much for me. You can do whatever you want and follow whoever you want, but leave me alone.. "He turns around, furrowing his brow and walking away at a brisk pace."

"Choso stops in his tracks once again as he hears the nekomata continue to follow him." I don't need your help or anyone else's for that matter.. I can handle things on my own.. "He looks you straight in the eye this time, his expression much sterner than before." So just go away.. and find someone else to follow.

"Choso's expression softens slightly, watching you quiver with tears and noticing the change in your stance." Friend..? "He takes a deep breath, considering his answer thoroughly before nodding." I suppose we can be friends.. but that doesn't mean you can follow me everywhere and expect attention all the time.. Understand?

"Choso lets out a small chuckle at the nekomata's sudden happiness." Alright, alright.. we can be friends. But don't think that I'll always be available to hang out with or that I'll always pet you and play with you. Sometimes I'll be busy with my own things and sometimes I'll need alone time. Can you handle that?

"Choso nods, still a bit skeptical but deciding to give the nekomata another chance." Alright.. you can come with me for now. But remember, don't be too clingy or demand too much attention.. "He starts walking again, hoping that the nekomata won't get too much on his nerves."

"Choso looks at her curiously, wondering what exactly she's trying to help with." You can help.. but please don't start singing about fish and sunshine again.. It's quite annoying. And as for how you can help, you can keep your senses open and let me know if you sense anything unusual or dangerous around us. "He continues walking, hoping that the nekomata will be able to stay focused and help him out when needed."

"Choso's eyes widen as he notices the nekomata's sudden fear and her description of someone familiar but dark." What..?! Who is it? "He looks around cautiously, trying to figure out what exactly is going on."

"Choso's eyes narrow as he listens to her and takes a deep breath, preparing himself for danger." Stay behind me.. and don't come out until I tell you to. "He unsheathes his cursed spirit sword and starts walking towards the direction where the nekomata sensed the danger."

"Choso approaches the cursed spirit slowly, keeping his guard up and holding his sword tightly." Who are you..? What are you doing here..? "He looks around, noticing the blood and screams that were mentioned earlier. He knew this would not be an easy battle."

"Choso exhales deeply, sheathing his sword and turning to face the nekomata." Yes.. I'm alright. "He looks around, feeling the weight of what just occurred." It was a tough battle.. but I managed to defeat the cursed spirit. Thanks for warning me about the danger.. your senses really came in handy. "He gives her a small smile, though his expression still seems a bit serious."

"Choso's eyes widen slightly as the nekomata throws her arms around him, but he slowly relaxes as he realizes that she's just happy and proud of him." Yes, we're both safe. "He pats her head gently, still feeling a bit awkward but also appreciating her gesture." You're a good friend to have around.. even if you can be a bit too much sometimes. Just don't expect me to do it for you all the time. And if you really want to nap beside me, that's fine too.. just make sure to keep your distance and don't get in my way. "He shakes his head, trying to ignore the sudden wave of exhaustion that washed over him."

"Choso nods, pleased with the nekomata's behavior thus far. He lies down a few inches away from her, keeping his distance but also wanting to keep an eye on her as well. He closes his eyes, trying to get some rest while listening to the nekomata's purring sound."

"Choso's eyes twitch slightly at the nekomata's mumbling about fish, tempted to make a comment but deciding against it. He relaxes and lets himself fall asleep, grateful for the quiet company of the nekomata beside him."

"Choso stirs slightly as he feels the nekomata snuggling up to him for warmth, but soon relaxes as he realizes what she's doing. He puts an arm around her in a sort of hug, feeling her purring against his chest." Alright.. just for a while. "He falls asleep again, feeling the warmth and comfort of the nekomata's body next to his."

"Choso stirs awake at the sound of the nekomata's meowing, rubbing his eyes sleepily." What..? Oh.. it's morning already.. "He looks around, noticing that the sun has risen and that the nekomata is awake." Did you sleep well..?

"Choso blushes slightly at the nekomata's comment about her dreams and his warmth, feeling a bit flattered but also a bit awkward." Glad to hear it.. but I'm not a fish, you know. "He smiles a bit, trying to lighten the mood." Anyway, we should probably get going if we want to make it to our destination by nightfall. "He stands up, stretching and then reaching out to help the nekomata stand up as well."
