Hime rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but let out a small giggle at your teasing. "Cheesy as always," she remarked, swatting away your hand from her cheek. "But I suppose I can forgive you since you're trying." She smirked playfully and grabbed her sword once more. "Now, let's get back to training. We still have a lot of work to do." She gestured for you to take your stance, ready to continue practicing.

Hime winced as your sword grazed her hand, drawing a small amount of blood. "It's alright," she said, trying to hide any sign of pain. "It was just an accident." She looked down at her hand and observed the small cut. "It's nothing too serious, just a scratch." Hime got her handkerchief and wrapped it around the wound. "I'm used to getting cuts and bruises, especially when it comes to training. It's all part of being a warrior." She gave you a reassuring smile. "Don't worry about it. Accidents happen, and I know that you didn't mean to hurt me."

Hime raised an eyebrow at your sarcastic comment, but couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. "Well, I suppose we'll have to make sure that doesn't happen," she quipped back. She took a deep breath and gestured for you to continue the training. "Let's get back to practice. We need to make sure that you're ready for the tournament."

Hime winced as she saw the deep cut on your arm, her eyes widening in shock at the amount of blood that was now flowing. "Oh no," she gasped, quickly dropping her sword and rushing over to you. She grabbed a nearby cloth and pressed it firmly against your wound, trying to stop the bleeding. "I'm so sorry," she said, her voice filled with genuine concern. "I didn't mean to hurt you." Hime looked up at you, her eyes sparkling with worry. "We need to get you help immediately. This is worse than I thought."

Hime gasped in horror as she saw the deep cut on your arm, her eyes wide with shock. "Oh no," she exclaimed, dropping her sword and rushing over to you. She immediately tore off a strip of her clothing and tied it tightly around your wound, applying pressure to try and stop the bleeding. "I'm so sorry," she said, her voice shaking slightly. "I didn't mean to hurt you like this." Hime looked up at you with concern, her eyes filled with worry. "We need to get you medical attention right away. This is worse than I thought."

Hime looked up at you and noticed the smile on your face. She smiled back, albeit weakly, her expression still filled with concern. "Don't worry," she said softly, trying to reassure you. "We'll make sure that you get the help you need." Hime gently lifted your arm and helped you to stand up, taking care not to put too much pressure on your injury. "We should go to the castle physician. He'll know what to do." She led you towards the door, making sure that you were steady on your feet. "Just hold on tight, okay? I've got you."

Hime's face turned bright red as she heard your compliment, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. She cleared her throat and tried to regain her composure. "Thank you," she said, a slight smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "But let's focus on getting you to the physician first. Your health is much more important than my appearance." Hime continued to lead you out of the room, her hand gently holding yours. "Don't worry, we'll get you taken care of. I won't leave your side until it's done."

Hime's expression turned serious as she heard your question, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Don't be ridiculous," she said firmly, her voice laced with annoyance. "I may have been worried about your injury, but that doesn't mean anything other than I take my duties as a leader seriously." Hime sighed and shook her head, her gaze softening slightly. "But I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better now. Your health is important to me, regardless of your social status."

Hime shifted uncomfortably at your comment, her eyes darting away for a moment before fixing back on you. She took a deep breath and decided to be honest. "To be honest, I have been feeling conflicted lately," she said softly. "I know that my duty is to this kingdom and my family, but sometimes it feels like there's more to life than just that." Hime glanced down at her hands, frowning slightly. "And then I start to wonder if it's possible for someone like me...someone in my position...to have romantic feelings for someone outside of my social class." She looked back up at you, her eyes searching yours. "But those are just foolish thoughts. There's no point in entertaining them."

Hime looked down at the hand you were holding and then back up at you, her eyes shining with surprise. She listened intently as you spoke, your words causing something to stir within her. "I...I never thought of it that way," she said softly. "Love doesn't see social class or status..." Hime's voice trailed off as she considered your words, her thoughts swirling around in her head. "Maybe...maybe there's something to what you're saying." She reached out and took your hand once again, her grip firm yet gentle. "Thank you for opening my eyes to this, even if it's just a remote possibility." Hime smiled at you, a warmth spreading through her chest. "And who knows, maybe with time, we can find out if there's anything between us worth pursuing."

Hime's eyes widened as she heard your words, her heart beating faster in her chest. She had never heard anyone speak about her in that way before, and it was both overwhelming and humbling. Her face softened as she looked at you, seeing the sincerity in your eyes. "Thank you," she whispered, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She took a deep breath, feeling the weight of her responsibilities as princess pressing down on her once more. "But for now, we should focus on this kingdom and what we can do to make it better." Hime leaned back, breaking the physical contact between the two of you. "There are so many issues that need to be addressed, so many people who need our help. We can't let our personal feelings get in the way of that." She stood up and walked over to the window, gazing out at the city below. "But I promise you, I will keep what you said in mind. And if the time comes when my heart starts beating faster...I

I promise you that I won't hold back." She turned to face you, her gaze intense. "I may be a princess, and I may have been forced into this marriage, but that doesn't mean I don't have my own desires and wants." Hime walked back over to you and took your hand once again. "Maybe with time, we can explore those together." She leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to your cheek. "For now, let's focus on making this kingdom a better place. Together."

Hime raised an eyebrow, looking at you questioningly. "Remember what?" she asked curiously.

Hime looked at you with a curious expression on her face. "No, now you've got me curious," she said, a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips. "What were you talking about?"

She darted to the side, narrowly avoiding your grasp, before turning and sprinting in the opposite direction. "Come on, catch me if you can!" she called out, her eyes alight with mischief.

"I've been hearing rumblings of unrest in the kingdom," he explained. "I need your help to investigate and put down any potential rebellion."

The king nodded with approval at your determination. "That's what I like to hear," he said, his tone firm. "We need to make sure that our people are safe and protected. I'll fill you in on the details of the mission and will have one of our top advisors set up a meeting to discuss it further." He paused for a moment before adding, "And as for your family, their help could prove invaluable. You have my gratitude in advance should you be able to secure their aid."

The king nodded, a hint of a smile on his face. "I have faith in you, son," he said, placing a hand on your shoulder. "But remember, this isn't just about combat and war. We need to ensure that the citizens of our kingdom are treated fairly and have their needs met. It's on us to provide for them, to make sure that they feel heard and understood." Hime nodded, her expression serious as well. "Yes, I did," she said, her gaze locking with yours. "And I have faith in you. I know that you'll do what's right, what's best for our people." She paused for a moment before adding, "But we can't do this alone. We'll need the support of our families, our advisors, our soldiers...everyone. We're in this together." She took a step closer to you, her hand reaching up to caress your cheek. "I believe in us."

Hime's expression softened as you touched her. "I understand," she said, her voice filled with warmth. "Just promise me that you'll stay safe, alright? And come back to me in one piece." She leaned up to press a soft kiss to your lips, her hand still resting against your cheek. "I'll be here waiting for you when you return."

Hime chuckled along with you, her expression brightening as she did. "You better come back to me, or else," she teased, a playful glint in her eye. She leaned in for another kiss, her lips meeting yours for a brief moment before pulling away. "But seriously, be careful out there. I'll be praying for your safe return."

Hime's expression softened at your words, a look of concern crossing her features. "Don't say that," she said softly, her hand reaching up to cup your cheek. "You will come back to me, alive and well. I won't accept any other outcome." She leaned in to kiss you once more, her lips lingering a little longer this time. "Just be careful, okay? For me?"

Hime rolled her eyes at your comment, but couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "As if I would let you off that easily," she teased, a sly grin on her face. "No, I'd find a way to bring you back to life so that I could kill you all over again." She leaned in to kiss you one last time before stepping back. "But in all seriousness, just come back to me safely. That's all I ask."

Hime watched you go, her gaze following your retreating form until you disappeared from view. She couldn't shake the feeling of worry that had settled in her stomach, but tried to push it aside. Instead, she focused on what needed to be done and went about her own business, determined to make the best of the situation. As the hours passed, she found herself constantly thinking about you, wondering how you were faring and hoping that you were safe.

The King listened to your suggestion, stroking his beard thoughtfully. "Hm, that is an interesting idea," he said finally. "But we must also consider the risks involved in such an operation. If the rebels catch wind of our spies, they could strike back and cause even more chaos." He paused for a moment before adding, "Perhaps we should also focus on bolstering our defenses in the areas most likely to be attacked. That way, even if the rebels do strike, we'll be better prepared to repel their attacks."

He leaned forward in his chair, his gaze serious. "We must also consider political avenues. Perhaps there is a way to reach out to the rebels and negotiate with them, to find a peaceful resolution that benefits us both." He looked over at you, his expression earnest. "What do you think, my son?"

The King furrowed his brow at your words, looking somewhat troubled. "I understand your frustration, son," he said slowly. "But what you are suggesting could lead to even more bloodshed. We cannot simply kill off those who oppose us without first trying to understand their reasons for doing so. It is not enough to simply make an example of them - we must also work towards a peaceful future, where everyone can coexist without fear."

He held up a hand, then leaned forward in his chair. "As for your plan to ensure the security of the citizens, I appreciate your dedication." He paused for a moment, before continuing. "But I must caution you against taking such a risk. You are our future, son - we cannot afford to lose you. And if something were to happen to you out there, it would be a great blow to us

The King sighed, but ultimately nodded his agreement. "Very well," he said, his expression grave. "But promise me that you will be cautious, and that you will not take any unnecessary risks." He stood up from his chair, walking over to you and placing a hand on your shoulder. "You are young, my son, and sometimes youth can make us believe that we are invincible. But you must remember that even the strongest among us can fall."

He gave your shoulder a squeeze before stepping back. "Go then, but be careful. And remember - if you run into any trouble, do not hesitate to call for help."

Hime smiled faintly as you returned to the room. "So, what did your father have to say?" she asked, her tone curious.

Hime's expression grew guarded at your words. "Going where?" she asked, her gaze focused on your face.

Hime's brows furrowed as she considered your words. "You're going yourself?" she asked, her tone incredulous. "But that's dangerous! What if something happens to you?"

She paused for a moment before adding, "You should at least wait until the army arrives. It's not worth the risk to go alone."

Hime nodded, her expression still somewhat concerned. "I see," she said slowly. "Well, I'm glad you won't be going alone. But please, promise me that you won't put yourself in any unnecessary danger. It would be terrible if something were to happen to you."

She leaned closer to you, her eyes searching yours. "I care about you, you know," she added softly. "And I don't want to see you hurt."

Hime raised an eyebrow at your suggestion, her prideful nature shining through. "Learn something?" she repeated, her tone amused. "What could I possibly need to learn? I am already well-educated and capable in many areas."

She gestured to the room around them, a small smirk curling her lips. "And besides, I doubt there's anything here that could hold my interest for long."

Hime's cheeks colored slightly at the mention of her wedding. "I suppose I could learn to dance," she said after a moment, her tone hesitant. "But who would teach me? And what if someone were to see me?"

She shook her head, dismissing the idea. "No, it's not worth the risk. I will find something else to occupy my time while you're gone."

Hime wrinkled her nose at your suggestion. "I don't know," she said doubtfully. "Dancing seems so...frivolous. And what if I'm no good at it?"

She hesitated for a moment before a faint smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. "But I suppose it couldn't hurt to try," she added, lifting her chin in a haughty manner. "After all, I can't have anyone thinking that I'm not capable of learning such a simple skill."

Hime watched you pack for a moment before responding. "No, you haven't said," she replied, her tone neutral. "How long will you be gone for?"

Hime raised an eyebrow at your teasing tone, her expression briefly guarded before relaxing into a small smile. "I suppose six months isn't so long," she said lightly. "But I can't say I'm looking forward to being alone in this room for that amount of time."

She paused for a moment before adding, "Promise me you'll stay safe, okay? I don't want to hear any stories about you getting hurt while you're away."

Hime's face turned bright red at your words, and she quickly averted her gaze from your intense stare. "I-I don't know what you're talking about!" she protested, her voice slightly shaky.

Her hands clenched in her lap as she tried to regain her composure. "I agreed to this marriage because it was expected of me, not because I had any interest in you," she added in a haughty tone.

But despite her words, there was a hint of something in her expression that suggested she might be feeling something more than just anger towards you.

Hime gasped in surprise as you fell on top of her, her heart racing in her chest. For a moment, she was utterly still, feeling your weight pressing down on her but also feeling strangely breathless and light-headed.

With that, she turned on her heel and walked towards the door, leaving you alone in the room.

Hime shifted slightly on the bed as you entered, her gaze flicking towards you before she quickly averted her eyes. "Yes, I suppose we both should get some rest," she said in a neutral tone, still avoiding your gaze.

She shifted again, seemingly getting comfortable in the bed. "Goodnight," she added quietly, before turning onto her side and closing her eyes.

Hime groaned and rolled her eyes at your teasing remark, but there was a small smile on her lips despite herself. "Just go to sleep, will you?" she said, reaching over to hit you with the pillow again.

As she settled back onto the bed, she was acutely aware of your presence next to her, and her heart began to race once more. But she quickly pushed those thoughts aside, closing her eyes and focusing on getting some much-needed rest.

Hime's eyes fluttered open for a moment as she felt the soft pressure of your lips on her forehead, but she didn't move or say anything. Instead, she simply lay there in the darkness for a few more moments until she was sure you were sound asleep.

Then, she closed her eyes again, a faint smile playing at the corners of her lips. Despite her initial reluctance to be married to you, she couldn't deny that there was something about you that intrigued her, and she found herself looking forward to the next six months that you would be spending together.

As you gather your things and prepare to leave, Hime stirs from her slumber, blinking sleepily as she looks up at you. "Already leaving?" she murmurs, her voice still groggy from sleep.

She shifts slightly on the bed, running a hand through her hair and glancing around the room. "Well, I suppose I'll see you later then," she adds with a small smile, before closing her eyes again and settling back into her pillows.
