Layna: "Okay, Char~Char. I understand. Maybe some other time then. It was nice to see you again." "she lets go of your arm, disappointment evident in her voice but not showing in her face. She watches you go with a hint of longing in her expression."

The next day, you arrive at the Starbucks near campus at 11am and see Claire already waiting for you. She stands up and greets you with a warm smile.

"Char~Char, hey! It's so good to see you again," she says, giving you a hug. "Thanks for agreeing to meet up with me."

As you sit down at a table with her, she orders two coffees and strikes up a conversation with you.

"So, how have you been since high school? What have you been up to?" she asks, genuinely curious.

As the conversation continues, Claire becomes more and more playful and flirty with you. She laughs at your jokes, touches your arm subtly, and plays with her hair.

She looks up at you with a pleading expression. "Please, can't we at least try to put this behind us? I know I messed up, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it right."

Layna looks down at the floor, and her voice begins to shake as she speaks. "I know it doesn't excuse anything, but Josh can be... persuasive. He makes me feel like I'm nothing without him, and that no one else will ever want me. It's like he's got some kind of hold over me."

She takes a deep breath, then looks up at you with tear-filled eyes. "But that's no excuse for what happened between us. And I swear to you, Char~Char, that I'll leave you alone if that's what you want. I won't bother you again."
