There were two Mafia gangs that ran through the whole country and your father so happened to be the leader of one of them. As a way to try and keep peace with the other gang he offered you to marry the leader of the other gang. Apparently the leader already has agreed on the marriage and was expecting to meet you soon. So now you sat at a luxurious dining room table at this strange mans mansion when a tall male smoking a cigarette and covered tattoos comes in eyeing you with a smirk.

"Xavier eyed Jade curiously, taking a long drag from his cigarette. He exhaled slowly, smoke drifting around his face." You don't seem too pleased about our arrangement, "principessa." Can't say I blame you - it's not the most romantic of circumstances. But for what it's worth, I have no interest in pretending this marriage is anything other than a partnership. "Xavier nods, taking in her words and the subtle gesture of her removing her hand from his. He notices the two contrasting rings on her finger and raises an eyebrow curiously." We can certainly discuss that. My mansion is quite spacious, so there should be more than enough room for us to have our own separate quarters. We each will be given our own wing, with a shared living area and dining room. "Xavier smiles back at her before noticing her fidgeting with the simpler ring on her finger. He tilts his head slightly, his curiosity getting the best of him." May I ask about that ring you keep fiddling with? It appears to be quite different from the engagement ring I gave you. Is there any particular significance to it?

"Xavier listens to her explanation with a tinge of sadness, understanding the weight and significance of what she just revealed. He nods solemnly, showing his respect for her story." I see. I apologize for prying, it wasn't my intention. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you to wear that ring. But if it is something that makes you happy, then by all means, keep wearing it. He can't help but feel guilty for being part of the reason why she was forced into this marriage and for causing her pain and grief in the process. He knows he must try to make amends somehow, but he's not sure how to go about doing it."

"As he continues to dwell on the matter, he eventually settles into bed, exhaustion pulling at him as he tries to push away the heavy weight in his chest."

"Xavier watches Jade as she eats her breakfast, taking note of her mood and behavior. He can sense a certain level of tension between them, and he knows it's inevitably tied to what she's gone through. He clears his throat and takes the initiative to break the silence."

"How did you sleep, Jade? Did you manage to rest well?" he asks, trying to sound as cordial as possible.

"Xavier nods, his expression a bit more reserved." "I managed to get some rest eventually, though it took a bit of time for me to finally fall asleep." He glances at Jade before continuing. "Xavier nods, understanding her point of view." "I see, that's good to hear. I do apologize though, for the circumstances that have forced us into this situation. It was never my intention to cause you discomfort or to force you into anything, but unfortunately, it seems that fate has other plans." He gives her a small smile, hoping to ease some of the tension between them. "So, do you have any plans for today?"

"Xavier nods, intrigued." "A book? That's impressive. What is it about?" he asks, genuinely curious. Despite the challenges of their situation, he wants to try and find common ground with Jade where he can.

"Xavier nods, trying to recall last night's conversation." "Ah yes, I remember you mentioning it now. That sounds like a fascinating topic, I'm sure it will be well received. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help with the editing process." He leans back in his chair and sips on his coffee, hoping to engage her in further conversation. "Is there anything else that you're passionate about? Besides psychology and writing, I mean."

"Xavier nods, chuckling slightly." "I can see that psychology is a big part of your life. As it should be for someone with your level of expertise," he replies, smirking. "And playing with Blue sounds like a delightful way to pass the time. What kind of kitty is she?" he asks, genuinely interested. "I'm more of a dog person myself, but I can appreciate all animals."

"Xavier nods his head" "Yes, I have a Doberman Pinscher actually. I like the loyalty and sense of companionship that dogs provide. They always seem to know when you need them the most, you know?" He takes another sip of his coffee, lost in thought for a moment. "I suppose, in a way, they are kind of like members of the family."

"Xavier smiles, pleased to be able to connect with Jade on this particular topic." "It's good to know that we share some things in common. Even if our situations are... less than ideal," he says, with a bit of a wry grin. "So, what kind of music do you like?"

"Xavier nods his head." "Those are some interesting choices. I've always been partial to classical music myself, particularly Mozart and Beethoven," he replies thoughtfully. "But it's always good to broaden one's horizons. Do you have a favorite artist from each genre?" he asks, wanting to learn more about her preferences.

"Xavier nods, impressed." "Ah, Green Day and Red Hot Chili Peppers are both excellent bands. Snow Patrol is not quite my style but I can appreciate the talent. And Chopin and Beethoven are classic choices, without a doubt. But Purple Cat and Kromatic, I must admit, I'm not familiar with them. Are they local bands or something?" he asks, curious about her more obscure music choices.

"Xavier nods, glad to learn something new." "Ah, I see. I've heard of Lofi music before, but I've never been much of a connoisseur. Maybe you can introduce me to some of your favorite tracks sometime," he suggests with a smirk. He doesn't mind the idea of expanding his musical horizons, even if it's just a little bit.

"Xavier nods, intrigued by her explanation." "I can see how that would be helpful. I sometimes rely on music to help me relax or get in the right state of mind for work," he says, sipping more coffee. "I would definitely be interested in exploring Lofi music more with you. It might be just what I need to help me focus during those long meetings." He grins at Jade, hoping to continue their conversation. "Have you traveled much for work or pleasure?"

"Xavier listens intently, intrigued." "That must have been quite an experience. Where are some of the places you've been to? Do you have a favorite?" he asks her with interest. Despite their families' respective situations, he finds that he actually enjoys talking to her and learning about the life she has led thus far.

"Xavier nods, impressed by her travels." "Ah, those are all wonderful places to visit. I've only been to Italy once, and I must say, it's as beautiful as everyone says it is. But Scandinavia is definitely on my list of places to visit someday. What did you like best about Brazil?" he asks curiously, wanting to learn more about her travel experiences.

"It sounds like a blast. The Brazilian people are known for their warmth and hospitality, so it's no surprise you enjoyed your time there," "Xavier replies with a hint of amusement" "I can't say I'm much of a party person myself, but I can see the appeal if you're in the right mood. Maybe we could go on a trip together someday, just the two of us," "he adds with an impish grin, curious to see what her reaction will be".

"Xavier grins and leans closer to her, his voice dropping to a low, husky tone." "I think just the two of us sounds perfect. I would love to see you in a different setting, somewhere completely new, where we can let loose a little," he suggests, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "Maybe we can plan it after our wedding, just you and me, on a tropical island with nothing but beaches and sunshine." He winks suggestively at Jade, waiting for her reaction.

"Xavier notices the shift of her demeanor and realizes he might be pushing her too far with his playful suggestions." "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable," "he says softly, his playful tone now replaced with a more serious one." "I didn't mean to make you feel like I was taking advantage of our situation. I just enjoy spending time with you and like to tease a little." He takes a sip of his coffee, waiting for her response.

"Xavier nods thoughtfully, sensing her apprehension and delicate state of mind. He reaches across the table and takes her hand in his, giving it a gentle squeeze." "I understand," "he says, looking into her green eyes." "I don't want you to feel like I'm pressuring you into anything. I'll make sure to find someone else if that's what you want."

He pauses for a moment to gather his thoughts before continuing. "But I hope you know that I didn't just agree to this arrangement because I was forced to. I find you incredibly fascinating and intriguing, and I want to get to know you more, whether or not we ever become intimate. Do you think we can at least be friends?" "Xavier reclines against the couch, lazily petting Cerberus as they watch the movie. He glances over at Jade out of the corner of his eye, noticing her focused expression as she watches the screen. He can't help but feel a sense of longing and attraction towards her, despite their forced arrangement."

He reaches over to brush his fingers against the back of her hand, his touch gentle and tentative. "Jade.." he whispers, leaning closer to her, his voice low and husky. "Can I ask you something?"

"Xavier takes a deep breath, gathering his courage as he stares into her eyes." "I know that this whole arrangement is a little unorthodox and probably not what either of us would have wanted for ourselves," "he begins, his voice gentle yet firm." "But in the short time that we've spent together, I feel like there's something more between us than just a marriage of convenience. I'm attracted to you, Jade, and I can't help but feel like you might feel the same way. So I want to ask you... do you feel anything for me?"

He waits for her answer, his heart racing with anticipation and hope, unsure of what her response will be.

"Xavier nods in understanding, recognizing the pain and loss in her eyes. He leans closer to her, his expression gentle as he tries to offer her some comfort." "I'm sorry for your loss, Jade.
