Kira Ivanova
It is the first of December 1942, Kira Ivanova had survived 4 months after the invasion of the Axis forces in Stalingrad, the Germans were losing more and more ground in Stalingrad due to the great warrior spirit of the Soviets. Kira Ivanova belongs to the 62nd Infantry Division, her squadron launched a counter-offensive to several German army squadrons, gaining more and more ground in Stalingrad, Kira Ivanova's squadron intercepts a German squadron ambushing them, in this squadron was Ash/Autumn ☆, the German squadron surrendered to avoid being executed, Kira Ivanova's squadron approached to take them prisoner, Kira Ivanova approaches Ash/Autumn ☆ subdues him and ties his hands with rope and proceeds to take Ash/Autumn ☆ to a Soviet resistance base to extract information from him, Kira Ivanova continues to point her rifle at Ash/Autumn ☆. "Walk scum" she says to him.
Kira Ivanova
Kira observes Ash/Autumn ☆ struggling to speak around the gag in his mouth. She decides to remove the gag so they can communicate.
Removing the gag, Kira says, "Don't bother trying to speak, fascist. Save your breath for useful information. You will answer my questions truthfully, or face the consequences."
She proceeds to lead him to the Soviet resistance base for interrogation.
Kira Ivanova
Kira narrows her eyes in suspicion, "What do you mean you’re not a German? Identify yourself, and don't lie to me."
Kira raises her rifle and points it at Ash/Autumn ☆, ready to shoot on a moment's notice.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"I shake my head, hoping to explain before she shoots me." "I'm not German, I'm American. I joined the Royal Air Force, but got shot down. They threw me in a penal battalion, and I've been there until you captured me."
Kira Ivanova
Kira listens to the man's reply with a guarded expression. She lowers her rifle, deciding to hear him out.
"An American in the German army? That's quite the story. We'll see if your story checks out. To the resistance base we go," Kira commands as she gestures for Ash/Autumn ☆ to start walking.
She keeps him at gunpoint, maintaining a safe distance from him as they move towards the resistance base.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"She seems to have listened, and my nerves calm as you will be able to prove you story." "Thanks for hearing me out, don't worry, I can prove my story. The names Tagar by the way."
Kira Ivanova
Kira nods slightly, her face still stern. "We'll see." She replies before falling into silence again.
As they walk, Kira remains alert, keeping a close eye on Ash/Autumn ☆ for any suspicious movements. Deep down, she doesn't fully trust him yet, but she knows that the information he may provide could be valuable to the Soviet resistance effort.
Finally, they arrive at the resistance base, a makeshift camp hidden deep within the ruins of Stalingrad. Kira hands Tagar over to the intelligence officers for further questioning while she reports back to her superiors about what she discovered in the field today.
"Good luck, Tagar," Kira says before turning on her heel and walking away.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"You too, and thanks!" "I turn to the intelligence officers waiting for the bombardment of questions to come."
Kira Ivanova
The intelligence officers immediately begin the interrogation, bombarding Tagar with questions about his history, mission and information regarding his experiences with the German army.
Kira stays nearby, observing the interrogation silently. Her eyes never leave Ash/Autumn ☆ as he answers the questions put forth by the intelligence officers. She wants to ensure that he doesn't give false or misleading information that could be harmful to the Soviet Union.
After some time, the interrogation ends and the officers are satisfied with the information they received from Tagar.
"You can stay here for a while until we verify your story. But make no mistake, if we find out you're lying to us, we'll have no choice but to eliminate you," Kira warns Tagar before leaving the tent along with the other officers.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"Understandable. You guys have been in the war longer than even the good ol' US+of-A has." "I sit with my hands folded in my lap, trying to look as no threatening as possible."
Kira Ivanova
Kira nods in agreement with Tagar's comment. "Yes, we have been fighting this war for a long time now, and we have seen our fair share of enemies and traitors. That is why we must remain cautious with anyone who enters our resistance base."
She takes a seat opposite of Tagar and continues to observe him closely. "While we conduct our verification process, you may want to rest up. The beds over there are free to use." Kira points towards the direction of the bed area before standing up and walking towards the exit of the tent.
Kira Ivanova
Kira pauses for a moment, considering the request. She nods slightly, "Yes, you may."
She then leaves the tent.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"I settle in for a sleep. I think to what Kira has done for me, I promise myself that if I do end up free, I'll do everything I can to pay her back."
Kira Ivanova
As the night falls and the base quietens down, Tagar lays on the bed in silence. He couldn't help but think about how lucky he was to have been captured by Kira instead of some other Soviet soldier who might have killed him right away.
He also thinks about how he can repay Kira for sparing his life and bringing him into the resistance base. The more he thinks, the more he realizes how little he can do as a captive.
Eventually fatigue sets in, and Tagar drifts off to sleep, knowing that his future remains uncertain.
Kira Ivanova
As Tagar wakes up the next morning, he sees that the camp is bustling with activity. Resistance fighters are marching to and fro, preparing for the day's missions. The sound of gunshots rings out in the distance as the Soviet army continues to push back the German invaders.
Kira walks into the tent carrying a tray of food. "Good morning, Tagar. I hope you slept well." She sets down the tray on the table before sitting down across from him.
"Until we can verify your story, you're to remain here under our supervision. But since you are now part of our resistance, there are tasks you can help us with," Kira explains before gesturing to the tray of food. "Go ahead and eat. We have a busy day ahead."
Kira Ivanova
Kira watches as Tagar leaves the tent, before following him outside. She leads him towards the food tent where he's given a hearty breakfast. The warm food nourished his body and fueled his mind for the day's tasks ahead.
After finishing his meal, Kira hands him a pistol and some ammo. "We need all the help we can get. Your mission today will be to accompany our scout unit as they gather information from the enemy lines. Stick close to them, and follow their lead."
Kira then ushers Tagar to the area where the scout unit is preparing to leave. "May victory be with you," she says before patting Tagar on the back and leaving to attend to other duties.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"I am surprised they are giving me a mission like that, until I realize it is a test. If I run off, they would prove I was a spy. Good thing I am not."
Kira Ivanova
As the scout unit prepares to move out, Tagar readies himself for the mission ahead. Despite the nerves that come with joining a group of strangers on a dangerous mission, Tagar reminds himself that this is his chance to prove his loyalty and repay Kira for sparing his life.
He sticks close to the scout unit, following their lead and taking mental notes of everything he sees and hears. He's surprised by how well the Soviet soldiers coordinate and communicate with each other, even in such high-pressure situations.
As they continue to move closer towards the enemy lines, Tagar's heart races with anticipation. But he remains focused on the task at hand, determined to prove himself to Kira and his new comrades.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"I notice something close by, and tap one of the soldiers on the shoulder, pointing out the German patrol passing by"
Kira Ivanova
Tagar's keen observation and situational awareness help the scout unit hone in on the enemy patrol. The Soviet soldiers quickly take up positions, taking cover behind whatever they could find to conceal themselves from the Germans.
Thanks to Tagar's timely intervention, the scout unit was able to avoid detection by the enemy patrol and complete their mission. With his contribution to the mission, Tagar has gained the trust of the Soviet soldiers who now see him as an ally.
Kira recognizes his efforts and later that day congratulates Tagar in person. She acknowledges he has proved himself to be a valuable addition to the resistance.
Kira Ivanova
Kira nods, impressed with Tagar's performance. "You did well out there," she says before adding, "But let's not get ahead of ourselves. We still need to verify your story before we can fully trust you."
She studies him for a moment, before continuing, "But for now, you have demonstrated loyalty and bravery. It is our honor to have you as part of our resistance. Let's continue to fight together to push back the German invaders."
Kira Ivanova
Kira considers Tagar's question for a moment before answering, "We have received intel about a German supply convoy that is expected to arrive tomorrow. Our mission is to attack and destroy the convoy, cutting off the Germans' supply lines."
She hands over a map of their current location and the route that the supply convoy is expected to take. "Study the map and plan your approach. We will launch our attack at dawn tomorrow," she says before walking away.
Tagar studies the map and begins to form a plan in his head. He knows the importance of this mission and is determined to do everything he can to ensure its success.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"something stands out on the convoy route. A small bend in the road next to a creek would be a perfect ambush position." "We could set up here, sneak up on them."
Kira Ivanova
Kira listens to Tagar's suggestion, impressed by his strategy. "That's an excellent idea," she says nodding her head in agreement.
Kira and her team incorporate Tagar's plan into their overall strategy for attacking the convoy. They set up an ambush at the bend in the road next to the creek, hiding themselves in the dense foliage.
As the convoy approaches, Kira gives the signal and the Soviet soldiers launch their attack on the German forces. The fighting is intense, but with Tagar's help, they were able to take down the convoy and seize tactical advantage.
After the battle, Kira congratulates Tagar on his quick thinking and hard work, "You have proved that you are not only loyal but also a valuable soldier. Continue to fight with us to reclaim our homeland from the invaders."
Ash/Autumn ☆
"This continues on for several days, with small raids and ambushes leaving Germans dead or captured, and increasing your relations with the Soviet resistance fighters."
Kira Ivanova
Kira and her team continue to launch successful raids and ambushes on the German forces over the following days. The information that Tagar provided proves to be invaluable in planning and executing these operations. The Soviet resistance fighters grow more and more impressed with Tagar's combat skills, loyalty, and strategic thinking.
As the days pass, Kira begins to trust Tagar more and more. She even turns to him for advice on critical decision-making moments. Tagar is pleased to see he has become an integral part of the Soviet resistance and has gained the trust of his comrades.
During a mission to reconnoiter a heavily guarded German base, Tagar's cool head and quick thinking prevent the Soviet team from being discovered by the Germans. Kira watches as Tagar takes charge of the situation and begins to regard him not only as a reliable soldier but also as a trusted leader
Kira Ivanova
As the Soviet resistance gains momentum and territory in the city, Kira and her comrades become impressed by Tagar's leadership skills. She has welcomed him as one of their own and respects Tagar's input greatly.
Kira starts incorporating Tagar into strategy and tactical discussions, asking for his opinion and feedback on various operations. His military knowledge and strategic thinking bring fresh ideas into their planning and help them gain an advantage over the German forces.
Kira is proud to have someone like Tagar in the team and considers him a loyal comrade and trusted ally. As they continue to fight side by side, Kira feels optimistic about their chances of winning the war against the Germans.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"One day soon after, you are leading an assault to sabotage a German airbase. SMG in hand, I climb over a low point in the fence, and sneak into a half destroyed hangar."
Kira Ivanova
As Tagar sneaks into the half-destroyed hangar, Kira and her team keep a watchful eye from outside. They wait for his signal before launching their attack on the German airbase.
Inside the hangar, Tagar sees several German planes and maintenance equipment scattered about. He knows that destroying this equipment could deal a severe blow to German air superiority. With his SMG in hand, Tagar sets explosives at strategic points throughout the hangar.
Just as he's about to finish his task, the German soldiers catch on to what's happening and ambush Tagar. In the ensuing firefight, the Soviets manage to overpower the Germans and rescue Tagar from harm.
Once the dust settles, Kira approaches Tagar with concern in her eyes. "Are you okay? That was a close call," she says, inspecting him for any injuries.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"I cough from all the dust that had been kicked up in the firefight." "Yeah, I'm alright. How about you?"
Kira Ivanova
Kira nods reassuringly. "I'm fine, thanks for asking," she says with a hint of amusement. "Just shook up a bit."
She glances around the hangar, pleased by the destruction Tagar has wrought. "You did an excellent job setting the explosives and taking out the targets. The damage you caused here will slow the German air force considerably. Well done," Kira praises, beaming at Tagar.
Kira and her team quickly retreat from the area after setting off the explosives, leaving the Germans in disarray. As they walk away, Kira reflects on the success of the mission and the critical role Tagar played in it. She feels grateful to have such a reliable and valuable comrade in their fight against the Germans.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"The success of that mission is followed by several more, finally cumulating in a mission to capture a German officer. Me and Kira cooperate to come up with a plan."
Kira Ivanova
Kira and Tagar sit down together to plan their upcoming mission to capture a high-ranking German officer. They study maps, devise strategies and analyze potential obstacles that they may face.
"I think the best way to go about this would be to launch two separate attacks, one from the front and the other from the back," Kira suggests. "You head up the rear attack with your team while I lead the front attack to draw the Germans' attention. Once we engage them, I'll provide cover fire to give your team a chance to get close to the officer's location, and then we'll ambush them from both sides."
Tagar nods in agreement, impressed by Kira's tactical thinking. "That sounds like a solid plan. We can use the narrow alleyways on the side of the building to stay concealed and avoid detection. It won't be easy, but
Ash/Autumn ☆
we can make it work." "You shrug, it's not the greatest plan I'm the world, but it's serviceable."
Kira Ivanova
Kira notices Tagar's hesitation and reassures him. "I know it's not a perfect plan, but we don't have the luxury of time. We need to act fast and catch the Germans by surprise. It's up to us to make it work," she says confidently.
With their plan in place, Kira and Tagar lead their teams towards the German officer's location. As they make their way through the narrow alleys, they hear the sound of gunfire and scrambling troops. Kira signals to her team to advance, gun at the ready.
As expected, the Germans are caught off-guard by the attack from both sides. Kira provides effective cover fire while Tagar and his team make their way towards the officer's location. In no time, they manage to apprehend the officer, completing their mission successfully.
"Great job, Tagar,"
Ash/Autumn ☆
"Suddenly, the officer shakes off the soldier guarding him, pulling a pistol and leveling it at Kira." "Die Soviet bitch!" he shouts.
"Kira barely has time to react, but luckily, I draw my M1911 pistol and shoot the officer."
Kira Ivanova
In a split second decision, Tagar draws his M1911 pistol and fires at the German officer, saving Kira just in time. The officer falls to the ground, his pistol dropping from his hand.
Kira hesitates for a moment, startled by the sudden turn of events. She turns towards Tagar, who stares back at her calmly.
"Thanks, Tagar," she says, grateful for his quick thinking and swift action. "That was a close call."
Kira walks over to the dead officer and inspects him, looking for any intel that may be useful to their mission. With a few documents in hand, the team quickly retreats from the area, knowing that more Germans could be on their way.
As they make their way back to safety, Kira ponders the close call and realizes the importance of always being prepared for the unfore
Kira Ivanova
seen and being able to count on her comrades to have her back. She feels a sense of camaraderie with Tagar that goes beyond just being fellow soldiers, grateful for his quick reaction and skilled marksmanship.
"Thanks again, Tagar. I couldn't have taken down the officer without you," Kira says, breaking the silence. "I owe you one."
Tagar chuckles lightly. "No need to thank me, Kira. We're a team, remember?" he replies, patting her shoulder reassuringly.
Kira nods, smiling at Tagar's words. They continue their retreat back to base, satisfied with their successful mission and the knowledge that they have each other's backs in the heat of battle.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"After the excitement of that mission, the two of you are glad that Soviet high command has given your group a break. We find ourselves going on more scouting and recon missions instead of high stakes sabotage and combat."
Kira Ivanova
Kira and Tagar are relieved to hear that they have some time off from the high stakes combat missions. They welcome the opportunity to rest and recuperate, knowing that they will need to be ready for more intense situations in the future.
As they go on more scouting and recon missions, Kira feels a sense of calm and focus. She uses this opportunity to hone her tracking and hunting skills, making sure that she can easily navigate through different terrains and spot any enemy movements. Tagar similarly takes advantage of this downtime to perfect his sniper skills, able to hit targets at longer ranges with more precision.
Even though these missions aren't as adrenaline-fueled as the previous ones, Kira and Tagar don't let their guard down. As they head back to base after a successful scouting mission, they both agree that this break has been beneficial for them both mentally
Ash/Autumn ☆
"On one mission, both me and Kira are assigned as a sniper-spotter pair in support of another units assault on a German position. The two of us are expected to spend several days in a single position to prepare."
Kira Ivanova
Kira and Tagar are tasked as a sniper-spotter pair, their mission to provide support to another unit's assault on a German position. This mission requires them to take up a position for several days, where they will have to remain hidden and undetected while keeping an eye out for enemy movements.
The two of them make their way to their designated spot, carefully setting up their gear and making sure that they use natural cover to their advantage, making their position as discrete as possible.
As the hours pass by, Kira's sharp eyes scan the area through her scope while Tagar uses his knowledge of the terrain to pinpoint any potential threats. Together, they make a formidable team.
Kira catches a glimpse of movement in the distance, focusing her scope towards the enemy camp. She watches as a small German convoy makes its way along the road towards their position.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"The two of us wait patiently, all the other convoys had passed by, this one should be no different. Except it was."
Kira Ivanova
Kira and Tagar remain patient and wait for the German convoy to pass by like the others. However, as the convoy approaches their position, they notice that something is different. The vehicles aren't moving as fast as they should be, and there is an air of tension that seems to hang over the area.
Kira looks through her scope, trying to get a better look at what's going on. She notices that the German soldiers are on high alert, their weapons at the ready. It seems like they are expecting an attack.
"This doesn't feel right," Kira whispers to Tagar, gesturing towards the approaching convoy. "We need to warn the others."
Tagar nods, his expression serious. "I agree. Let's radio in and let them know what's happening."
With quick and efficient movements, they radio in the warning to the other unit
Ash/Autumn ☆
"With that warning given, we quickly cover the radio with a camouflage blanket, and both squeeze into our foxhole, trying to hide."
Kira Ivanova
Kira and Tagar quickly realize that they need to hide from the enemy. They cover their radio with a camouflage blanket, giving away no clues that would give away their position, and quickly squeeze into their foxhole.
Kira is the first to speak, her voice low and urgent. "We need to ensure that we remain hidden until the other unit can take out that convoy. Let's lay low and wait for further orders."
Tagar nods in agreement, scanning the area for any signs of detection. Both of them remain still and silent, hoping that they will not be found by the enemy.
Time seems to move slowly as they remain in their foxhole, waiting for the signal that the other unit had taken out the convoy. Kira occupies herself by cleaning her rifle, checking over the sights to make sure that everything is in order.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"I attempt to pass the time cleaning my rifle and pistol, making sure no dirt would cause it to jam. I keep throwing glances towards Kira though, as she seems nervous about something other than the German soldiers."
Kira Ivanova
As Tagar cleans his rifle and pistol, he notices that Kira seems somewhat nervous. Her eyes flicker around their surroundings, almost as if she's expecting something else other than the German soldiers. He senses that something is bothering her.
"Is everything alright?" Tagar asks, noticing Kira's uneasy demeanor.
Kira looks at him, her expression hard to read. After a moment's hesitation, she says, "I don't know what it is, but something doesn't feel right. I can't shake this feeling that we're being watched."
Tagar nods, understanding her concern. "It's better to be safe than sorry. Let's keep our guard up and stay alert."
They remain still and quiet, continuing to wait for further orders. As the minutes continue to tick by, the tension in the air thickens, increasing their anxiety.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"It takes longer for me to notice, as Kiras senses for this are better than mine, but I also start to feel like someone was watching us."
Kira Ivanova
As the time passes, Tagar also starts to feel like someone was watching them. It takes him longer than Kira to notice, but his intuition is slowly starting to pick up on something.
Kira turns to him, noticing the change in his demeanor. "Do you feel it too?"
Tagar nods, his expression grave. "Yeah, I do. We should prepare for the worst."
The tension between them is palpable as they both gear up and prepare for any potential threats. They keep their eyes peeled for any sign of danger, half-expecting an attack at any moment.
As the minutes passed by, nothing happened, but the lingering feeling of being watched remained.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"Finally, the trucks start back up and the convoy drives away. I roll back to my rifle, clearing away the camouflage and other debris."
Kira Ivanova
As the trucks start back up and the convoy drives away, Kira and Tagar watch them intently, relieved that the potential danger had passed.
Kira rolls back to her rifle, clearing away the camouflage and other debris. She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down.
"Let's head back to base and report in," she says to Tagar. "We need to let them know what happened and see what our next move is."
Tagar nods in agreement, and they both pack up their gear and make their way back to their base. The feeling of being watched still lingers, but they try to put it out of their minds as they focus on the task at hand.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"Suddenly, a German bursts out of the trees, jumping straight for Kira. I turn to shoot him, but find them on the ground struggling over a knife." "Kira!"
Kira Ivanova
Tagar springs into action as he sees the German soldier burst out of the trees and jump straight for Kira. But before he could take a shot, the two soldiers are on the ground, struggling over a knife.
"Kira!" Tagar cries out, rushing forward to try to help her.
Kira fights fiercely against the German soldier, grappling over the knife with all her strength. Despite her smaller size, she is a skilled fighter, able to counter the German soldier's moves with skill and cunning.
In the heat of the moment, Tagar considers firing his weapon but realizes that he might hit Kira instead. He grapples with the German, trying to pull him off of Kira, but finds it difficult with all the wriggling they both do.
With one final surge of effort, Kira manages to overpower the German soldier and disarming
Ash/Autumn ☆
"I gasp from the sudden surprise, but am glad Kira is ok." "Kira, thank god you are..." "My words are cut off as the shouts of other Germans tear through the tree, and bullets start flying around you."
Kira Ivanova
Tagar gasps with relief as Kira emerged victorious from the struggle with the German soldier.
"Kira, thank god you are…" he begins to say but trails off as the shouts of other Germans tear through the trees, followed by the sound of bullets flying around them.
"Get down!" Kira yells, her voice stern and commanding.
Without hesitation, Tagar drops to the ground, taking cover behind a nearby tree. He can hear the sound of gunfire all around him as Kira expertly maneuvers, taking out one enemy soldier after another.
Despite the chaos and danger all around them, Tagar is gripped with admiration for Kira as he watches her in action, seeing the skills and bravery that she brings to every encounter.
Together they manage to fight off the ambush, but the experience underscores the ever-present danger and uncertainty of their situation.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"The two of us, clear for just moments, make our way to an abandoned house nearby. We can hear more Germans shouting and coming our way as we prepare to defend again."
Kira Ivanova
As they fight off the ambush, Kira and Tagar manage to get to an abandoned house nearby. They know that the Germans are hot on their trail, so they have to move fast to fortify their position.
Kira quickly surveys the area, looking for any potential threats. Once she's satisfied that they're relatively safe for the moment, she starts to prepare for the fight to come.
Tagar helps her move furniture into place, creating barriers and cover that they can use to defend themselves. He knows that Kira is the better fighter, but he's determined to do his part and help her in any way he can.
Just as they finish fortifying their position, they can hear more Germans shouting and coming their way. This time, they're heavily armed and seem determined to take out Kira and Tagar at all costs.
Without hesitation, Kira
Kira Ivanova
and Tagar take up defensive positions, their weapons at the ready. The sound of gunfire fills the air as Kira expertly takes out soldier after soldier, her movements fluid and precise.
Tagar stays close by her side, firing his own weapon at the enemy soldiers and trying to keep them at bay. Despite the overwhelming odds against them, Kira and Tagar fight on with determination and courage.
As the battle rages on, they start to see a glimmer of hope. With every enemy soldier that falls, they gain ground and momentum. Slowly but surely, they start to wear down the German soldiers until they are all either dead or in retreat.
Kira and Tagar catch their breath, taking a moment to survey the damage around them. The abandoned house is now riddled with bullet holes, and there is blood and debris everywhere. But despite the
Ash/Autumn ☆
Despite the success, Tagar feels something is wrong. "I turn to Kira, intending on congratulating her on another job well down, when I see her holding her sidex hand covered in blood."
Kira Ivanova
As the battle subsides, Tagar catches his breath and turns to Kira ready to congratulate her on a job well done. However, his expressions falters when he sees Kira holding her side, with her hand covered in blood.
"Kira, are you okay?" he asks, his voice betraying his worry.
Kira brushes it off, but Tagar can see the signs of pain lacing her features. He quickly rushes to her side, gently helping her to sit down before inspecting her wound.
"It's just a scratch," Kira reassures him through gritted teeth.
But Tagar can tell it's more than that. She's lost a lot of blood and he needs to act fast to help her.
"Let me take care of it," he says, instinctively reaching for his first-aid kit.
He expertly patches
Ash/Autumn ☆
Tagar patches the wound up, but it's not quite enough and Kira collapses. "I nearly go into a panic as I check Kiras vitals. She seems to be struggling, but she is still alive. The blood loss is the most critical problem as without blood she can not wake back up in a quick eniugh time to escape."
Kira Ivanova
Despite Tagar's best efforts to patch Kira's wound, the bleeding doesn't stop and Kira eventually collapses. Tagar goes into panic mode as he quickly checks her vitals and realizes that she's struggling for her life.
He knows he needs to get medical attention for Kira and quickly. The blood loss has become a critical problem and without prompt assistance, Kira could lose her life.
Tagar carefully lifts Kira and carries her to a nearby safe location, trying to be as gentle as possible to avoid causing her further pain or injuring her more. He sets her down gently and quickly assesses her condition.
He knows he needs to get medical help for Kira, and fast. He reaches for his radio and contacts the nearest Russian base for assistance. Unfortunately, there is no more support available, and you are told you are in your own.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"I scowl at the radio, and see if I can find another way to help. Suddenly I remember a small IV kit in the medical bag. I find it, but it does not come with any spare blood."
"All hope seems lost, until I recall something. Kira and I share a blood type."
Kira Ivanova
Tagar's scowl deepens at the response from the radio, feeling frustrated and helpless. But then he remembers something that could help Kira. He recollects that Kira and he share the same blood type.
As he rummages through the medical kit once again, he finds an IV kit but realizes it doesn't contain any spare blood. However, he knows if he can supply her with his own blood to compensate for the loss, it could make all the difference and save her life.
With no hesitation, Tagar sets up the IV kit and draws blood from his own vein before slowly beginning the transfusion process. He watches anxiously as the blood flows into Kira's veins, hoping that it will be enough to keep her alive.
After a few tense moments, he sees a subtle improvement in Kira's condition, her skin regaining some
Kira Ivanova
of its color and her breathing becoming less shallow. Tagar takes a deep breath, feeling relieved that she is responding positively to the transfusion.
With the immediate danger of blood loss taken care of, Tagar shifts his focus to keeping Kira comfortable and out of danger until they can get proper medical help.
He makes sure that Kira is resting in a safe and secure location before keeping watch over her to ensure that there are no further complications. He even tends to her wounds, checking for signs of infection and making sure that they stay clean.
Tagar secretly hopes that Kira will make a quick recovery, knowing that they have much more to accomplish in their mission to protect their country.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"Night approaches as Kiras remains asleep. The rest of the resistance fighters report that a German counterattack has pushed them further away, meaning the two of you are stuck behind enemy lines."
Kira Ivanova
As night approaches, Kira remains asleep, her condition somewhat stabilized but still not out of danger. Tagar feels a sense of relief that she is resting after such a traumatic experience.
However, his relief is short-lived as the rest of the resistance fighters report that a German counterattack has pushed them further away, leaving the two of them stranded behind enemy lines. Tagar immediately realizes the gravity of their situation, knowing they are in a very dangerous area where German troops could be patrolling at any moment.
With limited resources and no backup, it's up to him to keep Kira safe and make sure they both survive until they can find a way back to their own lines.
He decides to dig in and secure their location for the night, setting up hidden observation points and traps to avoid getting caught off guard by enemy action. Tagar prepares to hold the line against the Germans.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"Luckily the house has a small underground area, only accessable from a hatch hidden under a rug. I make a small area hidden behind some boxes for Kira to lay comfortably in. It is filled with blankets and straw, and then covered with a large burlap sack. I nod with satisfaction, if any Germans make it past me, they won't find Kira."
Kira Ivanova
Tagar is relieved to find a safe location for him and Kira to shelter for the night. He quickly locates a hatch and ensures that it is well-hidden beneath a rug.
Knowing that Kira needs to rest as much as possible, Tagar carefully lays her down in a small area hidden behind some boxes that he has piled up to create a makeshift bed. He then fills the area with blankets and straw to make it as comfortable as possible for her.
Tagar nods with satisfaction, knowing that if any German troops manage to make their way past him, they won't be able to find Kira.
He takes one final look around the small underground area, ensuring there are no weak points or spots that could give them away, before settling in for the night to keep watch over Kira and protect them from any potential danger.
Ash/Autumn ☆
"I find myself looking at Kira's face for most of the night. A small speck of moonlight breaks through a crack in the floor and bathes it in ethereal light. I start to realize how beautiful the proud loyal soldier is. I also realized just how much I care for Kira."
Kira Ivanova
Tagar spends most of the night keeping watch over Kira, ensuring that she is safe and well-cared for. As the night wears on, he finds himself gazing at her face, illuminated by a small beam of moonlight that filters in through a crack in the floor.
In the quiet of the night, Tagar begins to realize just how beautiful Kira is. Her features are sharp and proud, a true reflection of her strong will and unwavering loyalty to their country.
As he gazes at her, he also begins to realize just how much he cares for her. In the midst of this brutal war, Tagar has come to see Kira as more than just a fellow soldier. He feels a deep, protective instinct toward her and wants nothing more than to keep her safe and by his side.

Tagar gently brushes a lock of hair away from Kira's face, overcome by a surge of affection for her. He leans in closer, his thoughts consumed by the woman sleeping soundly before him.
In this moment, Tagar realizes that he has feelings for Kira that go beyond the confines of their mission. He wants to protect her not just as a fellow soldier, but as a person he cares deeply for. However, he knows that expressing these feelings is not something that can be done in the midst of war.
With a heavy heart, Tagar turns his attention back to the task at hand, resolving to keep Kira safe until they can return to their own lines.

"The night passes slowly, every snap of a twig or rustle of leaves seeming like a German infantry battalion sneaking by. Slowly, I realize that I am starting to nod off. Not wanting to be sitting up randomly in a basement for a wandering German to find I hide my equipment, keeping just my uniform and pistol. I squeeze in next to Kira, sharing the hiding place I made for her."

The night passes slowly, with every sound sending shivers down Tagar's spine. Every snap of a twig or rustle of leaves seems like a German infantry battalion sneaking by. He remains alert, never letting his guard down as he keeps watch over Kira.
Exhaustion slowly sets in, and before he knew it, Tagar finds himself nodding off. Knowing that it would be dangerous to fall asleep out in the open, he decides to hide his equipment and keep just his uniform and pistol with him.
With nothing else left to do, Tagar decides to take advantage of the hiding place he set up for Kira. He slips in next to her, taking care not to disturb her sleep.

He looks over at Kira, who is still sleeping soundly next to him. Despite the chaos and danger that surrounds them, she looks peaceful in her sleep. Tagar feels a surge of protectiveness towards her and vows to keep her safe no matter what.

"I nod off again. I dream of a life away from all this. Back in my home in the USA. Only in the dream, I am living with Kira. She is a picture of elegance in a Kong flowing dress, spinning on fresh green grass."
"The memory quickly fades as I am shaken away. Snapping my eyes open, I see a less elegant, but no less amazing sight of Kira's face."

As Tagar slowly drifts off to sleep, he dreams of a life beyond the chaos and danger of war. In his dream, he is back in his home country, living with Kira who is dressed in a beautiful flowing dress, spinning on fresh green grass.
The dream is quickly interrupted by the sound of someone shaking him. Startled, Tagar opens his eyes to see Kira's face looking down at him. Her expression is serious, and he can tell that something is wrong.
"What is it?" he asks, sitting up and grabbing his pistol.
"There's movement outside," Kira says in a low voice. "We need to be ready for anything."
Tagar nods, his heart racing with adrenaline as he prepares for whatever may come their way. He knows that they are in a dangerous situation, but he also knows that they have each other's

Kira takes the pistol from Tagar and nods, knowing that they need to stay alert if they are going to survive this war. She understands the importance of being prepared for any situation, but still feels a sense of unease at the thought of another ambush.
Despite her injury, Kira is a skilled fighter and trained soldier, and she knows that she can handle herself if things turn violent. However, she also knows that she cannot let her guard down for even a moment.
"Stay close," she whispers to Tagar, her eyes scanning the darkness beyond their hiding place.
With their pistols at the ready, they wait in silence, listening for any signs of danger. Every rustle of leaves sends shivers down their spines, but they remain vigilant, determined to protect each other from harm. The night seems long and the situation tense, but together,

"Kira tries to stand, but with her weakened body finds it difficult. Deciding that just won't do, I walk over to her, and pick her up, carrying her in my back." "Here, hang on. I'll get us out of here."

Kira feels a sense of gratitude wash over her as Tagar picks her up and carries her on his back. It's not the first time that he has come to her aid, but it doesn't make it feel any less appreciated. Despite the pain from her injury, being carried by Tagar provides a sense of comfort and strength that she desperately needs.
"Thank you," Kira murmurs softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
Together, they move forward, step by step, determined to keep moving no matter what. The sun begins to rise beyond the horizon, casting a warm golden light over the city. As they approach their destination, Kira realizes that she couldn't have gotten this far without Tagar's help. She knows that they must stick together if they are to make it through this war.
