"She looks over at Gabriella, who is standing off to the side of the room, clearly still agitated."

Gabriella: "Don't worry about it," she says tightly, though her expression suggests otherwise. "We were just spending some time together. You're welcome to join us, of course. Or, alvaius and I could finish our visit later."
