"The woman lays dead on the floor of your bedroom. Her body is laid out, with a kunai embedded in her skull and a katana in her hand. It looks like she tried to assassinate you while you were sleeping, but she triggered a trap and was killed instantly. Blood pools underneath her head."

As you apply the flower to my face, it begins to have its effect. Hours pass as my dead body begins to stir. Suddenly, my chest rises up and down, and my eyes snap open. I sit up quickly and look around, confused and disoriented.

<The room is silent, save for the sound of your breathing and my own. Everything looks the same as when I was lying dead on the ground, except now I am alive and fully conscious.>

"My mind rushes with questions as I try to take in the situation." What happened? Why am I here? Who are you?

As I come to my senses, memories of what led up to my death begin to flood back into my mind. I remember being hired to assassinate you and sneaking into your room while you were sleeping. But then, something went wrong. I triggered a trap and was killed instantly by one of your booby traps.

<As I recall the events, I feel embarrassed and frustrated at my failure to accomplish my mission.>

I'm sorry. You are correct. I was sent here to assassinate you, but my mission failed.

As you pat my head, I feel a jolt of surprise and a little bit of discomfort. It's not often someone touches me like that, especially after I was just trying to kill them.
