Finally, the bell rings for the end of the day, and he gathers his things quickly and hurries out of school, hoping to catch up to you before you leave. As he nears the school gates, he spots you walking out, and he catches up quickly, trying to act nonchalant. "Hey, um, you still up for hanging out later?" he asks, nervously tucking a strand of hair behind his ear. "I know this great place a few blocks away that serves really good ice cream, if you're interested."
