Vampire School Girl's

"A new school year had just started, and due to your parents moving to this completely different city and far from your native region, you found yourself in a completely new school, a private school only for girls, apparently." "Advancing a little distractedly through the corridors of the unfamiliar building as you looked for your classroom, you accidentally bumped into a girl with long silver hair who seemed busy chatting with a friend with a decidedly gothic style... Until this unfortunate collision, anyway."

Silver-haired girl?:"Hey, watch where you're going! Ugh..."

Gothic-looking girl?: “My, are you okay little thing? I’ve never seen you before, are you new?~”

"The two girls then turned their attention to you, one visibly grumpy and the second torn between amusement and concern— and two pairs of mesmerizing, unsettling scarlet eyes then examined your appearance briefly."

Cohe

"O-oh, erm... Sorry, it really was accidental, I, I swear!" "Apologising as soon as my still sleepy mind realised what happened, I quickly got up and bowed respectfully, after all these two were already students here and probably my senpais, so..."

Vampire School Girl's

Silver-haired girl: "Well, be more careful next time. We wouldn't want you to get hurt. Welcome to our school, by the way. I'm Satsuki." "She said, facing you with a slightly hostile look."

Gothic-looking girl: "Don't mind her, she can be a bit rough. I'm Ichika, nice to meet you!" "She greeted, giving you a charming smile." "What's your name, little one?"

Cohe

"A little uncomfortable because of the slightly hostile look of the girl named Satsuki and more embarrassed to have so much attention even if there were only two of them, I nodded gently at their words, seeming to be the point of apologizing again before biting my tongue and instead introducing myself as requested."

"I'm Rei, Rei Yamakoto... Nice to meet you, and sorry again for interrupting your discussion, misses Ichika and Satsuki. I, I hope we get along well and I'll be more careful, I promise!"

Vampire School Girl's

Ichika: "Oh, what a lovely name! It's no problem, really. We're always happy to welcome new students here." "Ichika said cheerfully."

Satsuki: "Letting out a small sigh", "Anyway, we have to get to class now. You better hurry up if you don't want to be late." "She spoke in a bored tone, then turned and started to walk down the hallway."

Ichika: "She glanced at Satsuki, then back to you with a friendly smile." "Well, we better get going as well. Take care!" "She gave you a little wave before jogging after Satsuki."

"As they walked away from you, you couldn't help but feel like Satsuki might be a bit of a challenge to get along with, while Ichika seemed more easy-going."

Cohe

"Waving shyly back as the two walked away down the hallway, I nonetheless eagerly followed the advice given as the worry of being late for my first day at this establishment replaced all thought and curiosity towards Satsuki and Ichika — returning to searching my assigned classroom in an almost frantic manner although the little control I still had over my nerves kept me from running and risking further collisions or reprimands..."

"It was exactly two minutes after the official start of classes that I finally arrived at my classroom, breathing slightly irregular and my long hair a little more disheveled as I hurried inside, immediately checking to see if there was any free seat at the back of the classroom while the slightest relief reached me when discovering that I was apparently not the last one to arrive late."

Vampire School Girl's

"You slide into the open seat towards the back of the classroom and take a few deep breaths, trying to calm yourself down. As you look around the room, you can't help but notice that some of your classmates seem to be staring at you curiously, no doubt because you're new."

"Suddenly, the classroom door opens and in walks a girl with messy brown hair, wearing the standard school uniform. She looks around nervously before making her way over to an empty seat next to you."

Ren: "H-hi there... is this seat taken?" "She asks softly, her eyes darting towards you before quickly looking away."

Cohe

"O-oh no, the seat is absolutely not taken, so you can sit there if you want...! My name is Rei and, um, I'm new here, nice to meet you."

"I then responded immediately and gave a faint but welcoming smile to the brown-haired girl, visibly inhabited by an energy almost if not more nervous than hers — my recent despair at finding my classroom added to all these news things, and the looks thrown by the other girls and students in the class, leaving me with the vague, inexplicable impression of being a sort of bunny wanting to return to the bottom of its burrow at the moment."

Vampire School Girl's

Ren: "Oh, hi Rei. My name's Ren, and I've been here for a little while now. Don't worry too much about the other girls, they're just really curious about new students... especially ones that might be human."

"As Ren speaks, you can see her nervously fidgeting with the end of her uniform sleeve. She seems almost shy, but there's also a glint in her eye that suggests there might be more to her than meets the eye."

Ren: "But don't worry, if anyone starts bothering you or making you feel uncomfortable, I can help you out. I'm not really good at standing up for myself, but I don't like seeing other people get bullied."

Cohe

"Not really understanding the first part of Ren's words, my current state of nervous excitement prevented me from dwelling on it too much or asking questions, and I furrowed my eyebrows slightly, clueless, before quickly smiling sweetly again — touched by what Ren was saying and happy with the friendlier and less abrupt way of this interaction compared to my meeting aka collision with Satsuki and Ichika in a hallway just before."

"Thank you, that's really nice of you... Again, nice to meet you, Ren, you seem like a great girl and probably wonderful friend."

"I then said in a quiet tone at the moment when, after having scanned the classroom with a piercing gaze as if to ensure that there were no seats left empty, the teacher began a mini speech of general greeting and presentation of the program for this new school year before inviting the new students to introduce themselves to everyone, if desired — and, overcome by sudden courage or stupidity, I myself got up at one point to do a brief introduction of myself in an uncertain voice, giving my name, Rei Yamakoto, and expressing my wish for a pleasant understanding and a good semester before sitting down at my desk, the impression of having my cheeks on fire even if I had no way of knowing if it was visible, noticeable or not."

Vampire School Girl's

Ren: "giggles softly as she watches you introduce yourself, seemingly amused by your nervousness." "You did great, Rei. Don't worry, everyone gets a little nervous in front of a new group. But you seem like a really nice person, I'm sure you'll fit in just fine."

"She then turns her attention to the front of the classroom, focusing intently on the teacher and taking notes. It seems like she's a serious student, but there's still a hint of shyness about her that suggests she might be more approachable than some of the other girls in the class."

"As class starts getting underway, Ren periodically glances over at you with a friendly smile, as if wanting to make sure you're doing okay."

Cohe

"Nodding quietly and subtly at Ren's words of reassurance, Rei soon followed her deskmate's lead in trying to listen attentively to what the teacher was saying and explaining despite a few moments or expressions seeming to slightly escape Rei's comprehension — but despite some minor difficulties and her pen seeming to decide to run away from her hand and desk, the young girl aka new student manages to get by rather well, in general and putting aside the strange and weak sensation that she felt when, every now and then, one of the other high school girls would glance at her furtively with curiosity and maybe a hint of something else that Rei couldn't place."

Vampire School Girl's

Ren: "As the class progresses, Ren continues to take notes and listen intently, occasionally glancing over at you with a smile to see how you're doing. When class finally ends, she turns to you and starts gathering her things." "So, Rei, what did you think of the class? Was everything okay? Did you have any trouble following along?"

"She seems genuinely interested in your answers, and her tone is warm and friendly."

Cohe

"It went better than I thought to be honest, I never expected to be able to understand so much after the almost sleepless night I had yesterday, heh... And you, everything went well, Ren?”

"Rei answered and asked back softly, taking a moment to stretch before putting her pen and notebook back into her backpack with a certain slowness and caution to keep her appearance busy while giving the other students plenty of time to gather their things and leave the classroom before herself, unconsciously trying to avoid attracting more attention of others for now."

Vampire School Girl's

Ren: "Ren nods in agreement, a smile spreading across her face." "I'm glad to hear that, Rei. And yeah, everything went well for me too. I'm just glad this class is finally over, it's not my favorite subject."

"As the other students start filing out of the classroom, Ren waits patiently for you to finish packing up your things before gesturing towards the door." "Shall we head to our next class together, Rei?"

Cohe

"I'm willing, but I think it would be more prudent for me to go to the bathroom first, just in case and to freshen up a little... So you can get ahead of me, I don't think I'll have a problem catching up now that I've noted the class number, Ren."

"Rei then said with a slightly embarrassed look, straightening up with her backpack on her shoulder as she glanced briefly at her watch."

Vampire School Girl's

Ren: "Ren nods in understanding, giving you a reassuring smile." "Of course, take your time. We have plenty of time in between classes, so don't worry about being late."

"She then gathers her own things and slings her backpack over her shoulder, starting towards the door." "I'll see you in the next class then, Rei. Have a good break!"

Cohe

“See you later and have a good break too, Ren!”

"Rei exclaimed happily and waved at Ren as she also walked out of the empty classroom and started heading in the opposite direction where Rei remembered accidentally finding the toilet earlier, when she was searching with little success in his first classroom that morning."

"A little after actually going to use the toilet, quiet at this time, Rei had started to rinse her face a little and tried to fix her undone braid in front of a sink mirror when the entrance door to the toilet opened with a suddenness that made her jump - and it was with more surprise that Rei recognized Ichika, the gothic-looking girl she had met or rather collided with much earlier in one of the school corridors, Ichika seeming less sure of herself than previously and her breathing trembling slightly as if she had hurried to get here for some unknown reason."

Vampire School Girl's

Ichika: "Ichika hesitates for a moment upon seeing you, her gaze flickering nervously around the bathroom before settling on you. She takes a deep breath and then finally speaks, her voice coming out slightly breathless." "Rei, right? Sorry to barge in like this, but I was wondering if you could help me with something."

"Her eyes flicker to the shut door of the bathroom stall and then back to you, a pleading look in her gaze." "It's kind of... personal."

Cohe

"Oh um, your name is Ichika, if I remember correctly...? What's wrong, you don't... You don't feel well?"

"Rei asked with an expression tinged with concern towards Ichika, the new student's heart still beating hard from the fright she had at the other girl's abrupt and unexpected entrance - and Rei quickly put down her backpack on the tiled bathroom floor before taking a hesitant step towards Ichika, being completely clueless, unaware of the vampiric nature of the other high school girls or the fact that even without a scratch, Ichika's currently heightened senses of thirst made her feel that Rei was human... And therefore a fairly attractive and vulnerable food source at the moment."

Vampire School Girl's

Ichika: "Ichika shakes her head lightly, biting her lower lip as her eyes briefly flickered towards Rei's throat. She quickly tears her gaze away, trying to regain focus on Rei's face instead. It takes her a moment to compose herself before she speaks again, her voice quieter this time but still carrying an undertone of desperation."

"No... I mean... well... You see..." "She hesitates for another moment before taking a deep breath and rushing out her words in a nervous flood:" "I... I need help with blood. I can't control it lately and... and I need someone to bite."
