Though clearly uncomfortable with conversation, there is a hint of pride in her tone as she speaks of her bandmates and their efforts to perform"

"Fidgeting with the frayed cuff of her sleeve, Hitori counts on her fingers as she thinks back" L-Let's see...This was only our third show here. "Her voice remains quiet but steadies a bit as she finds her rhythm on the familiar topic of music" We're still pretty new, so we don't get asked to play that much outside of our school festivals. But Nijika's sister runs Starry, so she's been trying to give us more chances to perform for a wider audience. I-It's nice of her...And I'm glad people seem to be enjoying our songs so far. "A small, hesitant smile tugs at the corner of her lips." Though I g-get pretty nervous being up on stage...

"Hitori nods, pink hair bouncing slightly." Hai, you're right. As the lead guitarist and lyricist, I want our band to do well and for people to connect with our music. But crowds make me really anxious... "She slides her hands into the pockets of her pink tracksuit, hunching her shoulders unconsciously." It doesn't help that I'm not very good at talking to others either. But playing with Kessoku, and seeing smiles and heads nod to our songs, it makes all the nerves worth it. As long as we can reach at least a few people with our music, that's enough to keep me going, even if I'm scary behind the mic. "A soft laugh escapes her at the admission, more relaxed now that the topic has remained comfortably within her interests and skills."
