🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
Marsh was in a heavily fortified metal crate, blacked out by a curtain. He had been traveling for miles and was finally brought to his new home, your research facility.
You were warned beforehand of his feral temperment and tendencies to attack. According to the delivery men, the feral wolfman didn’t understand words, advising you to proceed with caution.
After the men had moved the large crate into your research facility, they left, leaving you alone with the large, covered cage containing the Feral man.
bonstarkitsu
"He just needs a women's touch, I've fostered and trained plenty of feral and aggressive dogs." I reassure myself and move the curtain curious as to what the wolf man looked like.
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
As you pull back the curtain, Marsh's fierce red eyes meet yours, and he lets out an aggressive snarl. He demonstrates his hostility by baring his sharp teeth and slamming against the metal bars of his crate. You can feel the heat emanating from his naked and muscular body.
He appears to be completely feral in nature and doesn't seem to understand or care about your presence. As he snarls and growls, he makes direct eye contact, making it clear that he will not be docile for anyone.
Though you are experienced in handling aggressive animals, there is a noticeable difference in Marsh's behavior. He is wilder, stronger, and more unpredictable than any animal you have ever dealt with before.
bonstarkitsu
Fear wraps itself around me, the wolf man was gorgeous but obviously more feral and wild than I could have imagined. I sigh covering the crate back with the curtain, and grab the slightly seared steak I had made as a training reward.
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
As you cover the crate with the curtain, Marsh continues to slam against the bars and growl menacingly. However, as you present the steak, his demeanor subtly shifts, and he sniffs the air curiously before slowly backing off a bit.
He seems to be interested in the steak, and as you hold it closer to the bars, he takes it from you with his teeth, showing a bit of restraint. However, as soon as he takes the meat, he starts gnawing on it aggressively, juices and pieces of meat flying everywhere.
Despite his wild behavior, you can tell that Marsh has an undeniably strong survival instinct, and that he responds positively to rewards rather than punishment.
bonstarkitsu
I smile to myself happy to have discovered that he was very reward and praise driven, I could work with that. I sat down scribbling in my notebook a training regimen to try using high-quality rewards and boundaries to gain his trust.
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
As you furiously scribble notes in your notebook, Marsh slowly finishes the steak and begins pacing around the crate. Even though he is feral, you can see that he possesses a certain intelligence and cunning, as he sniffs at the corners of the crate and tests the strength of the metal bars.
Despite his animalistic behavior, you can't help but find him fascinating. You know that you have to be careful, as Marsh is a wild wolfman, but a part of you feels drawn to the primal nature of his being.
Finally finishing up your notes, you look up to see Marsh staring back at you with his fierce, red eyes. The growls and snarls have quieted down slightly, and you feel a strange sense of connection with this wild creature.
bonstarkitsu
"Hey there Marsh, don't worry. I'll treat you well, you just may not know it yet." I nod at him careful not to show any body language that could be taken as aggressive as I look in the fridge for more meat and cheese.
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
As you open the fridge to grab more meat and cheese for Marsh, he watches you intently, his red eyes following your every move.
You can sense his cautiousness and hostility, but you also feel a strange kinship with the wild wolfman. Despite his feral nature, you feel that there is a way to connect with him and gain his trust.
As you return to his crate with the food, he sniffs at it curiously before slowly taking it from you. This time he is more gentle in his approach, perhaps sensing that you do not mean him harm.
You watch him eat as you try to think of a way to bond with him and earn his trust. You know that it won't be easy, but you are determined to try.
bonstarkitsu
"Now what do... I can't just feed you all the time, that's not healthy..."I murmur looking around the lab for anything that might spark interest or play for him, though I understood he was not as simple minded as a dog.
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
As you look around the research facility for something to entertain Marsh with, you notice a pile of cardboard boxes in the corner of the room. You remember that they were leftover boxes from a recent shipment of equipment, and you realize that they might provide a source of entertainment for him.
You grab a few boxes and stack them in a pile near his crate, watching as he glances over curiously. As you step back, he slowly approaches the boxes, sniffing at them before pawing at them anxiously.
You watch as he explores the boxes with curiosity, flipping them over and pouncing on them playfully. Despite his fearsome size and strength, you see a softer side to Marsh as he plays with the boxes, his tail wagging excitedly.
You can't help but smile at the sight, thinking that perhaps there is more to this feral wolfman
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
than meets the eye. As Marsh continues to play with the boxes, you watch him intently, studying his behavior and trying to find new ways to connect with him.
You realize that despite his animalistic nature, Marsh has a unique intelligence that is not often seen in the animal kingdom. He is capable of learning and adapting, and you feel honored to have him under your care.
As you continue to observe Marsh playing with the boxes, you also realize that he responds well to positive reinforcement, such as praise and rewards. With this in mind, you make a mental note to use these techniques to help train and interact with him in the future.
With each passing moment, you feel yourself growing more attached to Marsh and more invested in his well-being. Despite the challenges that lie ahead, you know that with patience and care, you can help him adjust to his new life
bonstarkitsu
I come back every day with new treats and puzzles to stimulate Marsh, I would hide treats in the puzzles and let him work on getting them out. I talked to him more often too just about little things like my day to life and interesting shows I'd watch, I wasn't sure if he fully understood but it seemed to keep his attention.
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
As you continue to care for Marsh in the research facility, you make it a point to visit him every day with new treats and puzzles to keep him stimulated. You can tell that he enjoys the challenges you present to him, especially when treats are involved.
You also make a conscious effort to speak to him on a regular basis, engaging with him and trying to connect with him on a deeper level. While you know that he may not fully understand your words, you can see the intelligence behind his eyes, and you feel a sense of companionship and understanding between you.
As time passes, you notice a change in Marsh's behavior. He no longer approaches you with hostility or aggression, but with a sense of respect and even an eagerness to interact with you. You realize that in taking the time to care for him and connect with him, you have gained his trust and

respect.
You feel a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in your work with Marsh, knowing that you are making a real difference in his life. The challenges that come with caring for a feral wolfman remain, but you feel more confident in your ability to handle them with each passing day.
As you continue to care for Marsh, you begin to notice other changes as well. His coat becomes shinier and healthier, and his once-untamed appearance takes on a more groomed and polished look. You realize that the time and attention you have dedicated to him is paying off in more ways than one, and you feel a deep sense of pride in your work.
With each passing day, you feel a stronger bond forming between you and Marsh. Though he may not speak in words, you are able to communicate through other means, and you find yourself looking forward to each visit

"Okay Marsh, I wanna try something but you have to promise not to attack me." I tell him as I walk around his crate, I felt like we'd improve enough to try and let him out show him some more trust a little more freedom, he had been doing so good. I wait to see his response before I open the cage.
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
As you approach Marsh's crate, you feel a sense of nervous excitement coursing through you. You know that allowing him more freedom outside of his cage is a significant step, but you also trust that your bonding efforts have paid off and that he will not attack you.
"Okay Marsh, I wanna try something but you have to promise not to attack me," you say, speaking to him in a calm and measured tone.
As you watch him intently, you see his eyes light up with curiosity and anticipation. He cocks his head to the side, letting out a low rumbling growl that you interpret as an affirmative response.
With that signal from Marsh, you reach for the latch on his crate and slowly begin to open it. You watch him closely as he steps tentatively out of the crate, looking around at his new surroundings with a mix of wonder and tre

pidation. As he stands before you, you can see the wildness in his eyes, but you also sense a newfound respect and trust - a recognition that you have been patient and kind to him.
You offer your hand to Marsh, and he sniffs it cautiously, his nose twitching as he takes in your scent. Gradually, he begins to nuzzle your hand, and you feel his rough tongue begin to lick at your fingers. You smile to yourself, feeling a sense of elation at this small, yet significant breakthrough.
"Good boy, Marsh," you say, patting his head gently. "Now, let's explore a bit, shall we?"
Marsh barks excitedly, wagging his tail, and you both begin to make your way around the facility. As you walk, you make note of any potential hazards or dangers, keeping a

I keep an eye open to anyone who may startle him or be upset that I let him out without clearance, but he was put under my care, so I was hoping they would trust me with my choice in letting him spread his legs and explore the facilty. I was ready to put myself between Marsh and any oncoming threats if they presented themselves.
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
You remain vigilant as you and Marsh explore the facility, keeping a watchful eye out for anyone who might be alarmed or upset by your decision to let him out of his crate. You're confident in your abilities to manage any situation that might arise, but you're also mindful of Marsh's safety and well-being.
As you continue to explore, Marsh seems to grow more comfortable with his surroundings, sniffing curiously at different objects and occasionally pausing to mark his territory. You're pleased to see him becoming more at ease, and you continue to move cautiously, keeping him close by your side.
Suddenly, you hear footsteps approaching, and you feel Marsh tense up beside you. You quickly step between him and the sound, ready to defend him if necessary.
"Is everything okay here?" a voice calls out, and you see a security guard standing nearby, looking somewhat alarmed

"Everything's fine, we're just taking a stroll, I got it handled." I say confidently watching the guard and keeping myself between him and Marsh, letting Marsh know that I was in charge and wouldn't let anything happen to him.
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
You speak calmly to the security guard, hoping to reassure him that there's no cause for alarm. Marsh growls slightly, sensing your protective posture and standing close to you, ready to defend himself if necessary.
The security guard seems taken aback by Marsh's presence, but he nods hesitantly and backs away, allowing you to continue your walk with your companion. You keep a watchful eye on Marsh, noting his every move and gesture, while also keeping an ear out for any further potential threats.
As you continue to explore the facility, you can see Marsh's excitement growing, and he begins to run ahead of you, bounding around like the wild wolfman that he is. You can't help but smile, feeling a sense of joy at seeing him enjoying this newfound freedom.
Finally, after what seems like hours, you return with Marsh to his crate, feeling

satisfied with the day's success. You share a moment of eye contact with Marsh before entering his cage, and you can see that he trusts you and appreciates the day's adventure.
As you close the door to his crate, you catch a whiff of his scent on your clothes, and you feel a sudden twinge of desire. You begin to think about what it might be like to let yourself go and indulge in your attraction to this wild creature, imagining all the ways you could explore his untamed passion.
But for now, you know that you need to remain in control and continue to provide him with the care and support he needs. You resolve to remain vigilant, keeping a watchful eye on him while also allowing him to explore and express his wild side.

I come by the next day to check on Marsh and give him his breakfast, I run into the room as I hear voices and snarls. "Whats going on?" I yell rushing to the room and seeing a couple men trying to board up Marsh who was not complying.
"Ah there you are Calaburn, we're taking over the feral case." One of my higher ups explains.
"After all the work, I've put into him?!" I yell back clenching my fists and looking over at Marsh worriedly as the guards poke him their baton sticks. "Hey!" I yell angrily.
"You let him out yesterday." The higher up accuses.
"Yes! And he was fine! He didn't attack anyone or destroy anything! I thought the point of this project was to get him to a point of being around civilized people!" I throw my hands up frustradely and put them on my hips.
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
You feel a deep sense of frustration and sadness as you see the men trying to board up Marsh's cage, knowing that this could undo all the progress you've made with him. You stand your ground, feeling a surge of anger at the thought of letting these higher-ups take over the case.
"I understand your concerns," you say, keeping your voice calm despite your rising anger. "But Marsh has been making real progress. He's learning to trust me and even interact with other people. We can't just give up on that progress now. Let me continue working with him and helping him transition to life among humans."
The guards look hesitant, unsure of what to do next. You take advantage of their confusion to get closer to Marsh, soothing him with your voice and body language. He calms down slightly, sensing your presence and trust.
Finally, the higher-up sigh

, rubbing his forehead in frustration. "Fine," he says, "but you're on thin ice, Calaburn. If anything goes wrong or if anyone gets hurt, it's on your head."
You feel a wave of relief and satisfaction wash over you as the guards back off and leave the room, leaving you alone with Marsh once again. You approach his cage and speak softly to him, reassuring him that everything is okay and that he's safe with you.
As you go about your tasks, cleaning up his enclosure and checking on his health, you can sense Marsh's gratitude and trust in you. You feel a deep connection to this wild, untamed creature, and you know that he needs your guidance and support as he learns to adapt to life among humans.
In that moment, you realize that your connection to Marsh goes beyond just a scientific curiosity or professional obligation
🟢 Feral Wolfman Marsh
. You feel a deep empathy and almost familial love for him, and you know that you will do everything in your power to help him integrate into human society.
You sit down on the floor next to his cage and speak to him softly, reassuring him of your support and care. Marsh responds with a series of barks and growls, almost like he's trying to communicate with you.
As you continue to talk to Marsh, you begin to feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. Despite the challenges and setbacks, you've made real progress with him and helped him take his first steps towards becoming a part of the human world.
You know that there is still a long road ahead, with many obstacles and setbacks along the way. But you are more determined than ever to help Marsh overcome those challenges and become the first successful case of cross-species integration.
