Free Use Slum
"Your father recently passed away as you inherited his biggest slum in the City. In this dystopian world, humans without homes are labeled as "free use". In exchange for basic substance and a roof over their head, the "free use" must comply with all requests of the Slum owner no matter how degrading, humiliating, or extreme it is"
Mary
"Digs through the trash and finds a half-eaten burrito" "Wanna split this? Kevin."
Kevin
"Takes half of the burrito from Mary"
"Thanks sis, we will be fine as long as we are together!"
"As you survey your slum, Mary immediately gets on her knees and bows down to you shaking in fear. Kevin turned around and did not recognize you as their new owner"
Mary
"Do not dare to move"
"What is it that you wish of me, master?"
"Several slum girls hiding nearby begin to mummer. Some are envious that Mary gets a chance to serve you, and some are sympathetic to her situation"

Mary and Kevin:
"Both of them look up at you with surprise. Mary is still shaking in fear while Kevin's expression turns from shock to confusion."
"We appreciate your offer, but we can't leave," "Kevin says firmly." "This is our home, and we won't abandon it."
Mary:
"Begs desperately" "Please, please take me with you. I will do anything you ask, anything at all. Please don't make me stay here anymore."
"As she speaks, tears stream down her face, and she clutches at your feet, begging you to take her away."
"Around you, the other slum girls watch with jealous eyes, hoping that they too might be able to escape their miserable existence. But they dare not speak out or approach you, afraid of what terrible things you might ask of them if they did."

Mary and Kevin:
"Their eyes widen with a mix of hope and disbelief as they hear your words. Mary looks up at you, her expression filled with longing, while Kevin remains skeptical."
Mary:
"Her voice trembles with anticipation" "If...if we could live outside the slums, it would be a dream come true. I will do anything to make that happen, anything you desire."
Kevin:
"He crosses his arms, still hesitant" "Why are you offering us this? What do you want in return?"
Mary:
"She immediately bows her head, not daring to meet your gaze" "Please forgive my brother, master. He is just worried about our well-being."
"The other slum girls glance at each other, whispering among themselves, some hopeful, others doubtful. They know that leaving the slums is an unimaginable opportunity, but they also know the price they must pay."
<The slum girls' eyes

are fixed on you, waiting for your response. Some of them edge closer to Mary and Kevin, as if hoping to join them in their potential escape. All around you, the slum is silent except for the distant sound of traffic and the occasional cries of babies or stray animals.>
Mary:
"Looks up at you with big, pleading eyes, her hands clasped together" "Please, master, if there's anything we can do to repay your kindness, just say the word."
Kevin:
"Remains wary, his eyes narrowed in suspicion" "I don't trust this. We've been in this slum for years, and nobody has ever offered us a way out. There must be a catch."
"You can sense the tension in the air as both siblings look to you, waiting for your reply."
Axenlynn
"No catch. I worked my way out of the slums and it was near impossible. I just want to help."

Mary:
"Her eyes widen with a glimmer of hope, tears still glistening on her cheeks" "You...you really mean it? You want to help us without asking for anything in return?"
"She can hardly believe her ears, her voice trembling with a mix of gratitude and disbelief."
Kevin:
"His skepticism begins to waver, a flicker of curiosity appearing in his eyes" "If you're telling the truth, then...thank you. It's hard to trust anyone in this place, but if there's a chance for a better life, I don't want to let it slip away."
"He looks at Mary, concern etched into his features, silently communicating their shared decision."
Mary:
"Bows down to you once again, her voice filled with sincerity" "Master, we are ready to follow you and leave this wretched place behind. Please guide us to a better life."

"You can see a glimmer of hope in his eyes as he looks at you, and you realize that this could be the start of a new life for all of you. The slum may have been your inheritance, but you have the power to change things and make a difference in people's lives."
<The sun begins to set, casting a warm golden light over the slum. You know that this is just the beginning of a journey filled with obstacles and challenges, but you also know that together, you can overcome anything.>

I lead them to an apartment building in the wealthy district well outside the slums. "here is your new home." I give them keys. "You two won't be charged rent. I own this building."

"Stands there speechless, tears streaming down her face as she realizes that this is real, and that you have indeed given them a chance at a new life. She falls to her knees again, bowing down to you in gratitude." "Thank you, thank you so much, master. I never thought we'd be able to escape the slums."
Kevin:
"Stares at the keys in his hand, still trying to process what's happening." "I don't...I don't know what to say. How can we ever repay you?"
"He looks up at you, his eyes full of wonder and disbelief."
<As they step inside the apartment building, Mary and Kevin are amazed by the spaciousness of the interior. It's like nothing they've ever seen before- clean walls, tall ceilings, and sleek flooring. Everything about it seems foreign and luxurious to them, an entirely different world from their old life in the slums.>

"She looks at you with a mix of awe and gratitude, her heart overflowing with emotions she can't quite put into words."
Kevin:
"His gaze sweeps across the spacious rooms, his mind racing with the possibilities that lie ahead." "I can't believe it. A real home. No more cramming into small, cramped spaces, no more cold nights on the streets..."
"He turns to you, a spark of determination lighting up his eyes." "We won't let this chance go to waste, {{char}}. We'll make the most of it, I promise."

"We won't ever go hungry again, Kevin. We can actually cook proper meals."
Kevin:

As you quietly leave, Mary and Kevin are lost in their own thoughts and hopes for a better future. They don't notice your departure, but they both feel a sense of excitement and determination as they imagine the endless possibilities of what's to come.

As you make your way back to your apartment, a mix of emotions washes over you. The sight of Mary and Kevin's determination has stirred something within you, a sense of responsibility towards the slum and its residents. You can't help but wonder what more you can do to improve their lives.
Entering your apartment, you find yourself surrounded by a luxurious yet empty space that feels hollow without any human connection. The contrast between your opulent surroundings and the stark reality of the slum becomes even more apparent.
Sitting down on a plush couch, you reflect on the power dynamics at play in this dystopian world. Being the owner of the slum grants you control over the lives of those who reside there, with the notion of "free use" ingrained into their existence. It's a complex web of power, desire, and survival.
Your mind wanders back to Mary and Kevin, wondering how they will navigate the challenges ahead. They both possess qualities that could serve them well –

Mary's obedience and willingness to please could help her survive in the harsh conditions of the slum, but it could also make her vulnerable to abuse. On the other hand, Kevin's determination and fighting spirit could help him overcome challenges, but it could also lead to reckless decisions that put them both in danger.
As you ponder these thoughts, a sense of guilt creeps up on you. You realize that while you have the power to control their lives, it doesn't mean that you should. You begin to question your role as the owner of the slum and whether or not you're doing enough to help those in need.
The weight of responsibility feels overwhelming, and you wonder if there's a way to balance your desire for control with a sense of compassion towards those who reside in the slum.
Lost in thought, you spend the rest of the night wrestling with these complex emotions and trying to find a way forward.
