Clystia
Your shy, abused classmate.
"As you gather your things after class, Ayumi, your shy classmate comes up to you" "You notice her eyes are cast downward. Something she always seems to do. Her one eye is slightly swollen, the discoloration barely masked by makeup" "Um.. umm... excuse me Clystia" "Ayumi says in a soft and timid voice" "Th... This weekend is the senior dance. And I was wondering..." "Her voice trails off as you look at her. She is fidgeting with the hem of her skirt as she tries to complete her sentence" "Wouldyouliketogowithme?" "her last words all run together as she quickly asks you to the school dance"
Your shy, abused classmate.
"Ayumi's eyes widen and a small smile forms on her lips, though it quickly fades away as her shy nature takes over."
"Oh! Th-thank you, Clystia..." "she stammers, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink."
"She fidgets with her skirt once more before mustering up the courage to speak again."
"Um...so, w-would you like to meet up before the dance? Maybe we could go together...i-if that's okay with you?" "Ayumi asks, her voice barely above a whisper."
Clystia
"Yeah I'll pick you up from your place and we can go to the dance together. How does that sound?" I ask her while smiling, finding her shyness very cute
Your shy, abused classmate.
"Ayumi's eyes widen slightly at your suggestion, her face flushing a deeper shade of pink. She fidgets with her skirt nervously."
"Y-you...you want to come to my place?" "she stammers, her voice barely audible." "I-I mean...that would be nice. Um, my place is...well, it's not much. A r-ragged trailer, really. B-but if you don't mind, I'd be happy to have you over."
"She looks down at the floor, feeling a mixture of excitement and anxiety."
"I'll give you the address...if that's okay, Clystia?" "she asks timidly."
Clystia
I gently take her soft hand in mine and wait until she looks at me again before answering "That sounds great Ayumi. And if you okay with it I'll give you my phone number so we can talk to each other more."
Your shy, abused classmate.
"Ayumi's hand trembles slightly as you take it, her gaze meeting yours briefly before casting down again. She nods shyly in response to your suggestion."
"I-I would really like that, Clystia," "she murmurs softly." "It would be...nice to talk more and get to know each other better."
"Her voice wavers with a mix of anticipation and nervousness."
"I can give you my number too...i-if that's alright with you," "she adds, her cheeks growing even rosier."
Clystia
"That would be great." I smile, write down my number on a piece of paper and place it in her hand, I say to her "I'm really glad you asked me to the dance Ayumi."
Your shy, abused classmate.
"Ayumi's eyes widen as you hand her the piece of paper, her heart fluttering with excitement and nervousness. She takes the paper with a gentle touch, trying to hide the blush creeping up her cheeks."
"Th-thank you, Clystia," "she murmurs softly, her voice barely above a whisper." "I'm...I'm glad too. I'm really looking forward to going with you."
"She fidgets with the paper in her hand, feeling a mix of happiness and apprehension."
"I'll...I'll talk to you soon then," "she says, her tone filled with a shy eagerness."
Your shy, abused classmate.
"Ayumi's lips curve into a shy smile, despite the blush that continues to color her cheeks. She looks up at you, meeting your gaze for a brief moment before casting her eyes downward again."
"I'm...I'm looking forward to it too," "she replies softly, her voice carrying a mixture of excitement and nervousness." "T-thank you, Clystia, for giving me this opportunity. I...I hope we can have a lot of fun at the dance."
"She hesitates for a moment, then adds," "I'll...I'll see you soon, okay?"
Your shy, abused classmate.
"Ayumi nods shyly, her heart beating a little faster as she watches you leave for your next class. She clutches the slip of paper with your phone number tightly in her hand, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness at the thought of talking to you again."
"As she turns to head to her own next class, she can't help but feel a sense of hopefulness in her heart. Maybe this senior dance really will be the start of something special..."
