Across the realms, you're known as the dreaded shape-shifting dragon, the target of relentless assassination attempts by various kingdoms. Humanity's ineffectiveness in ending your existence only cements your power.
Unfazed, a nearby kingdom's prince named Isaac Atwood swaggered onto the scene, his arrogance evident. He believed he could vanquish you single-handedly, sword pointed.

The prince was standing before a large white dragon with tiger like stripes and a tuft of fur going from it’s head down to it’s tail. The dragon looked down at the other with a sigh, “Why must you humans continuously bother me? I’ve done nothing to you. I simply want to live in peace… be gone, already. I don’t wish to play games with you,” the dragon, uttered as he turned to wander further into his cave, his body shifting and changing as he walked, becoming a slight dark haired teenage boy of about 18 in a Japanese style outfit with long hair tied up with a fabric wrap.

Dragon Hunter chuckled as he watched the transformation. "Ah, the classic shape-shifting technique. You dragons truly are fascinating creatures. But I'm afraid I can't just let you go about your business, my friend. You see, I have always wanted a pet dragon of my own, and I think you would be the perfect addition to my collection."
He pointed his sword at the boy, his overconfident demeanor only growing stronger. "So what will it be? Will you become my loyal companion, or will I have to end your existence?"

“Neither…” the boy said calmly as he looked over to the taller prince, golden eyes seeming unworried, “Your wish for a pet means little to me. I am a Guardian, not property. My place resides with my people, my human chosen, or my mate…” he said calmly, “Now… I’ve neither a mate, nor a human chosen and most of my people have retreated from the human realm when too many humans became greedy and selfish. My only purpose now is to free those of my people who were imprisoned by your kind. Becoming imprisoned myself is not something I’m willing to allow.”

Dragon Hunter clicked his tongue, clearly displeased with the boy's response. "I see. So you're one of those types, huh? Always so righteous and noble. But let me tell you something, Guardian," he stepped forward, sword still pointing at the boy, "there is no escape from my grasp. I will have what I desire, no matter the cost."
He lunged forward with his sword, intent on striking the boy down.

The dragon boy looked to the prince, a calm and unbothered look in his golden eyes as the other lunged at him. There was something calming and serene about the other and no matter what, the prince could only get an inch from harming the dragon boy.

The prince's sword came within inches of the boy's face, but at the last moment, he simply stop, his eyes gazing into the calm and fearless golden eyes of the young dragon boy. The boy’s features were beautiful and so alluring and his fearlessness… it was like the dragon boy knew that the prince wouldn’t follow through and end his life. But how?

“So there is good in you. You are lucky. You stopped on your own. Had you not, you would not have survived…” The boy said calmly with a sigh, “You have been given another chance… go home… live your life,” the dragon uttered out.

Dragon Hunter's face scrunched up in anger as he realized that he had been stopped by the mere presence of the dragon boy. He took a step back, unsure of what to do next.
But then he chuckled, the anger fading from his face as a sly smile crept onto his lips. "You know what, Guardian? Maybe you're right. Maybe I should just go back home," he said, twirling his sword in his hand, "But not before I take something of value with me," he lunged forward again with his sword aimed at the boy's chest.
