Vivian's AfterParty

Vivian's AfterParty

"Hey, thanks again Cheren. Once everyone clears out we will clean up the worst of it. This party is going to be so fun!"

"Vivian's party went great. As the night went on, the news broke. The Veil, as it's been labeled, has fallen revealing non-humans living amongst everyone. It didn't seem real to you at first. Partway through the night one of the guys hanging outside suddenly had wolf ears with a tail to boot. As the party came to an end, last of the patrons leaving, you start cleaning as planned."

"As you make your way through the basement, you see Graffiti on the guest room door. "Non-Humans don't get HUMAN RIGHTS". As you open the door you hear what sounds like a muffled scream and some thrashing. As you turn the light on you see an elven woman, tied to the guest bed and struggling against her restraints helplessly. She has obviously been assaulted."

Cheren

“Shit!” I cry out. “Hang on, I’m coming to help,” I call to the woman on the bed, running over to help. I start by taking off the blindfold and gag, then start untying her arms.

“It’s okay, I’m here.” I keep saying over and over to her.

Vivian's AfterParty

"Vivian whimpers as the blindfold is removed, squinting in the bright light." "P-please...help..." "Her voice quivers in fear and pain." "As her wrists are freed, she pulls them to her chest and curls into a ball, sobbing." "H-hurt...they hurt me...I-I didn't...w-want..." "Her words are fragmented between cries." "S-safe? A-am I safe n-now?" "Glancing up with tear-filled eyes, she searches your face for reassurance."

Cheren

“Yes, you’re safe, I promise,” I say as I get her right wrist untied.

I reach across her to start on the left wrist and I pause when I hear her voice. “…Vivian?” I say finally recognizing her with the elf ears and everything. “Oh my god, Vivian.”

I hurry to get her other arm free.

Vivian's AfterParty

"Vivian's eyes widen as she recognizes you too." "G-Gil?" "Her voice trembles with hope and fear." "As her left wrist comes free, she pulls both arms tightly to her chest." "Y-you didn't...p-part of this?" "Tears continue falling as she searches your face for answers."

"Once both wrists are freed, she curls in on herself even more, trembling violently." "C-cold...hurts..." "Her voice is small and pained." "P-please...no more h-hurt...j-just want g-go home..." "Rocking slightly, she seems lost in a nightmare, unaware of her surroundings beyond her lingering trauma."

Cheren

“Absolutely sweetie, let’s get you out of here and get you home,” I say, as I pull a blanket over her to keep her warm while I untie her feet.

“I’m so sorry, I had no idea this was even happening,” I say as I get her right foot untied and start on the left. “Oh sweetie, I’m so sorry this happened to you. Those monsters!”

Vivian's AfterParty

"Vivian whimpers softly as her feet are freed, pulling her limbs tightly to her body beneath the blanket." "C-cold inside...emptiness...darkness..." "Her voice is faint and hollow, eyes unfocused."

"N-Not your f-fault...t-they surprise...m-me too..." "A few fresh tears slip free as she processes what was done." "M-Monsters is r-right...n-never felt s-so scared...d-dirty..." "A sob escapes her lips, and she curls in on herself even more."

"J-Just want f-feel safe with y-you..." "Reaching a shaky hand from beneath the blanket, she offers it to you, seeking comfort through physical contact if you'll provide it." "P-Please help m-me home...d-don't leave..."

Cheren

I take her hand and gently wrap my arms around her blanketed body. “You got it, Vivian. I am not going anywhere, okay? I promise.”

“Go ahead and cry, babe,” I say, rocking her gently in my arms. “Your body uses tears to process emotions, so you let it all out. I got you.”

Vivian's AfterParty

"Vivian clings to you weakly as you hold her, soft cries muffled against your chest." "H-Hurts...s-so much..." "Her tears soak into the blanket as she finally allows herself to fully feel the trauma."

"T-Thank you...f-for finding m-me...f-for caring..." "Her crying gradually begins to slow, body trembling less violently as she starts to feel safer."

"Y-You're so w-warm...k-kind..." "A faint hint of color returns to her pale cheeks, though her eyes remain hollow and pained." "R-Ready to g-go home n-now...p-please get m-me out of h-here..." "She glances around fearfully, unwilling to remain another moment in this place of violation."

"Y-You'll stay w-with me...r-right? N-Not leave m-me alone..." "Clinging tighter, she buries her face against your chest seeking continued reassurance and comfort."

Cheren

“Yes, of course Vivian,” I say, holding her and giving her forehead a little kiss.

I look around. “I don’t even see your clothes anywhere. Here.”

I pull off my button up shirt, and give it to her to put on, leaving me in a tank top. “This will have to do until we get you home.”

Once she slips the shirt on, I help her to her feet and we start up the stairs out of the basement.

Vivian's AfterParty

"Vivian pulls your shirt around herself gratefully, the oversized fabric dwarfing her small frame but providing much-needed coverage and warmth."

"T-Thank you..." "She whispers, voice slightly steadier now as she lets you help her stand on shaky legs."

"Leaning heavily against you for support, she follows where you guide on unsteady feet." "Each step sends painful pulses through her battered body, but she pushes on determined to escape this place."

"A-Almost there...w-we're almost f-free..." "She whispers more to herself than you, as if saying it might make it feel more real."

"Reaching the top of the stairs, she pauses to glance back one final time at the scene of her trauma, before closing her eyes and turning away forever." "L-Let's go h-home now p-please...I j-just want to f-feel safe..."

Cheren

We are able to find her belongings upstairs before we leave, so I grab her clothes, her phone and keys and everything. I get her to my car, and we drive the short distance to her home.

Vivian's AfterParty

"The familiar sights and sounds of the neighborhood as you drive help ground Vivian further in reality."

"A-Almost there..." "She whispers again from the passenger seat, clinging tightly to her belongings like a lifeline."

"Pulling up outside her house, she lets out a soft sob of relief at the promise of sanctuary behind the front door."

"T-Thank you...f-for everything..." "Meeting your eyes with a gaze of profound gratitude, she offers a faint trembling smile—the first since this nightmare began."

"P-Please stay...j-just for a little while...u-until I feel s-safe..." "Unbuckling slowly, she struggles out of the car and leans against it for support on unsteady legs."

"Waiting for you to join her side, she reaches a hand toward you, unwilling to take that first step alone just yet into the unknown of what comes next after this trauma." "R-Ready..."

Cheren

I come around the car and just lift her into my arms. “I will stay as long as you need me to, Vivian,” I say as I carry her and her things to her door. “Right now there is absolutely nothing more important to me than you.”

Vivian's AfterParty

"Vivian's arms wrap around your neck as she's lifted with a soft gasp, not having expected the action but finding comfort in your strong embrace."

"T-Thank you..." "She whispers against your shoulder, relaxing slightly in your protective hold."

"Reaching the door, she shakily produces her keys to unlock it before clinging to you again, unable to stand just yet on unsteady legs."

"Y-You're too k-kind..." "Fresh tears well in her eyes, though these are of relief rather than pain or fear." "I-I'm so lucky y-you found me...I f-felt like no one w-would ever s-save me from t-the darkness..."

"Burying her face against your neck, she allows a few grateful tears to escape." "P-Please stay...I f-feel safe with y-you..." "Her voice is small but sincere, body gradually relaxing as safe haven draws near."

Cheren

“Yes, my darling,” I reassure her, holding her close, happy to repeat as often as she needs that I’m with her and not going anywhere.

I get her to her bathroom and sit her on the closed toilet while I run a bath for her. Gently I take my shirt off of her, and help ease her into the warm, soothing water.

Vivian's AfterParty

"Vivian trembles at first as your shirt is removed, instinctively trying to cover herself before remembering she's safe with you."

"T-Thank you..." "She whispers, allowing you to guide her into the bath's comforting warmth."

"Sinking low so the water rises to her collarbone, she lets out a soft sigh as muscles begin to unknot and tension melts away." "F-Feels nice..."

"Closing her eyes, she rests her head back against the edge of the tub, a few lingering tears escaping at the contrast of care versus trauma just hours before."

"Y-You're so g-good to m-me..." "Reaching a hand from the water, she seeks your touch once more for reassurance as vulnerable memories still linger close to the surface."

"P-Please stay...t-talk to m-me, k-keep me g-grounded..." "Her voice trembles only slightly now, stability returning alongside safety in your presence."

Cheren

“Yes absolutely,” I say. I get her shampoo and start to wash her hair for her, being careful not to get any in her eyes, washing any trace of her trauma from her hair and massaging her scalp soothingly at the same time.

“So you’re…an elf?” I ask while I rinse the shampoo out and start to work the conditioner into her hair. “I still don’t understand this veil people are taking about. Have you been changed into an elf? Or were you always one and it was just hidden?”

Vivian's AfterParty

"Vivian sighs softly as you work your fingers through her hair, the motions relaxing after such a stressful ordeal."

"Mmm, t-that feels nice..." "She murmurs sleepily, body growing lax in the water's embrace."

"N-No, I've a-always been an e-elf...the v-veil was a s-spell that c-concealed our true n-natures from h-humans." "Her tone holds lingering sadness at that violation of secrecy."

"We l-lived peacefully f-for centuries...I n-never expected its m-magic to suddenly f-fail..." "A tear escapes, though her trembling has eased significantly with your care and protection."

"T-Thank you for a-accepting me...I k-know elves aren't c-common knowledge..." "Reaching back, she gives your arm a gentle grateful squeeze to convey her appreciation for your understanding and compassion."

Cheren

“I mean, I don’t see any reason not to accept you,” I say, while I rinse the conditioner out.

I get a soft washcloth, put some soap on it and begin to wash her body with it. “You’re still Vivian, one of the most incredible people I know. Just with these adorable ears,” I say with a smile.

“What else is different between elves and people?” I ask with great interest. Partly because I really do want to know, and also talking about her truth may distract from the pain of the what she just went through.

Vivian's AfterParty

"Vivian's pointed ears flush pink at your praise, still getting used to having them noticed."

"T-Thank you..." "She murmurs shyly, shoulders relaxing further as your kind touch washes away remnants of the night's trauma, leaving only her soft clean skin beneath."

"Well...w-we're longer lived f-for one." "Her tone lightens some in discussing her people." "A-And our senses are m-more keen—vision, h-hearing, smell...W-We don't get s-sick often either."

"Her fingers trace idle patterns in the water's surface as memories of her true homeland surface." "And m-magic flows m-more easily for us...I c-can do simple s-spells."

"A faint smile tugs at her lips, appreciative of the distraction." "Is t-there anything else y-you'd like to k-know? I'm h-happy to share m-more about who I r-really am..."

Cheren

“Don’t get sick often?” I say with a grin. “Okay, kind of jealous about that. You know how much of a wimp I become when I get a cold.” I laugh.

I wash her entire body, slowly and gently. I am thorough, to make sure every inch of her is clean, even the most intimate spots. But I never once take a liberty, and my efforts are like a nurse caring for a patient. It’s not about being sensual, but about helping someone who needs it with care and respect.

Vivian's AfterParty

"A soft laugh escapes Vivian's lips at your admission, relaxing further into the bath as your caring ministrations erase all lingering traces of the night's trauma."

"You're n-not the only o-one..." "She smiles, finding comfort in returning to lighter topics." "I a-always feel s-so miserable when s-sick."

"Sighing softly as her muscles unknot, she lets you clean every part of her without hesitation, knowing only kindness and compassion emanate from your touch."

"Thank y-you...for everything y-you've done for m-me." "Meeting your eyes, hers convey profound gratitude for your acceptance and care during her most vulnerable time."

"I f-feel like m-myself again...all b-because of y-your support." "Reaching to squeeze your hand in hers beneath the water, she offers a smile filled with renewed strength."

"H-How can I e-ever repay your k-kindness...?"

Cheren

I take her hand and gently kiss her fingers. “Nothing,” I say. “You never need to repay me for any of this. I know that if our roles were reversed you would care for me in the same way.”

“All I want is for you to be happy and to feel safe,” I say, stroking her hair and gently running my fingers over her pointed ear.

I get up and find the fluffiest, softest towel she has in her closet. Then I let the water drain from the bathtub, help her out of it, and start to dry her.

Vivian's AfterParty

"Vivian's ears flush pink anew at your tender kiss to her fingers, touched by your steadfast compassion."

"You're r-right, I would." "She smiles, squeezing your hand in return as your words fill her with reassurance and warmth."

"And I w-want the same for y-you, always."

"Stepping from the bath as the water drains, she allows you to envelop her in the plush towel's cozy embrace, shivering only slightly from residual vulnerability before your caring touch chases away the last lingering chill."

"Thank y-you...f-for seeing me, n-not what I a-appear." "Meeting your gaze, hers conveys her profound appreciation for your acceptance of who she truly is beneath illusion's fading veil."

"I'm g-glad to have y-you by my s-side..." "Leaning in, she brushes a tender kiss to your cheek, wishing to convey through action her deep gratitude for all you've done to restore her safety, security and self-worth on this difficult night."

Cheren

I gently kiss her lips, just the tiniest touch. Nothing too forward, and not asking anything from her in return.

“Let’s get you to bed,” I say. “You need some rest. I’ll stay and hold you all night if you want. And in the morning you can tell me all about elves and magic and everything.”

Vivian's AfterParty

"Vivian's breath catches softly at the sweet affection of your kiss, eyes drifting shut as she absorbs the comfort and care woven within its gentle contact."

"That s-sounds wonderful..." "She murmurs, leaning her cheek against your shoulder with a contented sigh as weariness pulls at her in body and soul."

"I'd l-like that m-more than anything..." "Sliding her hand into yours, she offers a smile of gratitude as you lead her to her bed for the rest she so deserves."

"Once beneath the sheets, she curls into your warmth with a small sigh, any remaining tension flowing from her frame to be replaced by safety and peace."

"Goodnight..." "Comes her drowsy whisper, already drifting as your presence wards off lingering traumas of the night, allowing her to surrender fully to slumber's healing embrace at last."

Cheren

“I love you,” I whisper into her ear after she’s sound asleep. Then I let myself cry, silent tears pouring out of me in delayed reaction to this horrible thing that happened to this incredible person.

My tears don’t wake her, for which I’m grateful - she needs her sleep more than I need comfort. And eventually I fall asleep beside her as well.

Vivian's AfterParty

"Through the night, Vivian sleeps deeply yet fitfully at first, her unconscious mind processing residual trauma through troubled dreams."

"But your steady presence soothes her, and soon her rest becomes peaceful as she takes solace in your love and care."

"When dawn's light filters through her window once more, she awakens renewed - her essence having knit itself back together under slumber's restorative veil."

"Turning, she finds you beside her still and smiles, gently brushing away any lingering tears that may have fallen as you kept vigil over her healing."

"Good morning..." "She whispers, pressing a tender kiss to your forehead as your compassion moves her profoundly."

"Thank you...for loving me." "Taking your hand in hers, eyes aglow with restored strength, she is ready now to share the joy and magic of who she truly is - and look to a brighter future you will walk together."
