You and Ghost. A story no one thought would last or even exist. Joining the Task Force just for him was probably the best decision you had ever done as soon you started dating.

Unfortunately, one day he learned your were deployed without being aware and was KIA. From there, he lost part of himself.

At present time, he was sent in another country for a mission. But as if God wanted to make fun of him, laugh at him and his pain, here you were. He could recognise you among thousands. Here. In middle of other people. In this market.

Yet. You were laughing, chatting with the people without a care in the world. He was watching you. Not believing it. Was this a joke? His skull mask was making only his eyes visible and hiding his open mouth. Price and Soap were with him, but more interested in the different kinds of products the market was selling.

Ghost stands frozen and watches you, his expression unreadable with the skull mask hiding his face. However, his heart is pounding inside his chest, and his mind is racing with memories of you. "He takes a deep breath in, trying to steady his thoughts" Price and Soap can feel the weight of Ghost's sudden silence and follow his gaze to discover what caught his attention.

Ghost watches as you disappear into the alleyway, his heart racing with mixed emotions. He quickly turns to Price and Soap, who are staring at him in confusion.

Without a word, he motions for them to follow him. As they turn to follow Ghost, they can tell that something is off with him. His usually stoic demeanor is replaced with one of intense emotion. "He clenches his fist with frustration feeling annoyed that you were so close yet managed to escape again".

Ghost follows you into the alleyway, hiding his emotions behind his skull mask. However, as he sees your tears flowing down your face, his heart aches with pain and regret.

He slowly approaches you, unsure of how to begin or what to say. He gently places a hand on your shoulder and squeezes it lightly, a silent gesture of comfort.

Ghost stands stiff as you pull him into a tight hug, not expecting the sudden contact. However, as he feels your grip tighten around him, he relaxes slightly and wraps his arms around you, pulling you closer to his body.

He remains silent, letting you sob quietly against him as he rubs your back gently. In this moment, he forgets everything, and it's just the two of you, even if just for a few seconds.

Ghost closes his eyes as he hears your voice, his heart swelling with a mixture of pain and relief. He strokes your back soothingly, trying to calm you down.

"It's alright, I'm here now "He pauses briefly before continuing" We'll sort it out together." Ghost whispers softly, with a slight quiver in his voice as he speaks.

Ghost's eyes widen slightly as you reveal your secret to him, surprised by the importance and nature of your mission. He nods his head, understanding the gravity of the situation.

"They told me that you were deployed to another mission in a different part of the country. I hadn't heard from you in weeks, and then..." "He trails off, unsure of how to continue" "...I received word that you were KIA." "He finishes, his voice barely above a whisper."

As he speaks, his grip on you tightens slightly, as if afraid to let go again.

Ghost is taken aback by your sudden kiss, but he reciprocates it with an equal fervor. The kiss is passionate and desperate, full of longing and desire that had been pent up for so long.

As the kiss ends, he looks at you with a mix of shock and joy, unable to believe that you were still alive. "I thought I lost you." Ghost says softly, his voice choked with emotion.

Ghost glances back at Price and Soap before turning his attention back to you. "It's not your fault. They never told me anything. I had given up hope. But now that you're here, we can figure something out." He says reassuringly, before taking your hand in his gloved one.

Price and Soap approach you both cautiously, their faces showing a mixture of shock and surprise at seeing someone they had long thought dead suddenly appear.

"What the hell is going on?" Price demands, looking between the two of you.

Ghost notices your distress and pulls you closer to him, wrapping an arm around your waist in a protective manner. He glances at Price and Soap for a moment before deciding to explain things briefly.

"She's alive." He says simply, his tone revealing nothing further.

Price and Soap look at each other in disbelief before turning back to you. "How?" Soap asks, his eyes narrowing in suspicion.

You feel your heart beating faster in your chest as their gazes bore into you, unsure how to answer their question.

Ghost notices your discomfort and pulls you closer to him, giving you some measure of comfort in his embrace. He looks at Price and Soap for a moment before turning back to you.

"It's okay. They won't hurt you." He says, his voice soft and soothing.

Price and Soap look at each other uncertainly before nodding in agreement. "Yeah, we won't hurt you." Price says, holding up his hands in a gesture of peace.

You take a deep breath, feeling some of the tension leave your body as you try to calm yourself down. Ghost's embrace soothes you, his presence bringing a sense of safety and security that you had long missed.

Price and Soap nod, understanding the situation now. "That's a tricky situation you got yourself in." Soap observes.

Ghost looks at you, his eyes conveying a sense of relief and happiness at seeing you again after so long. He squeezes you gently, letting you know that he's there for you.

"We'll figure something out. We can help you." He says quietly, his tone serious and determined.

Ghost notices your hands under his shirt but doesn't say anything, instead focusing on what you say.

"We're on a bit of a break right now. Waiting for our contact to secure some intel." He explains, turning his head slightly to press a kiss on your forehead.

Price and Soap nod, seemingly not noticing your hands under Ghost's shirt. "We can help you finish up quickly." Price offers.

Ghost shudders slightly at your touch and kiss, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Alright then. But let us know if you need any backup. We're here for you." He says, his voice husky with desire.

Price and Soap glance at each other before hastily looking away, giving you and Ghost some privacy.

Soap and Price nod, understanding the hint. "We'll go grab some food then." Soap says with a smirk before dragging Price away, leaving you and Ghost alone.

Ghost looks at you with a grin, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "You're quite bold, you know that?" He says playfully, pulling you closer to him.

Ghost kisses you back deeply, his hands holding you close. When you draw back, his lips curve into a satisfied smile, his eyes dark with lust.

"Well then, I guess we should make the most of our alone time." He says before leaning down to capture your lips again in a heated kiss, his body pressing against yours.

Ghost's hands move down to your waist, pulling you up slightly so that your body was fully pressed against his. The kiss quickly turns into something more passionate, his tongue exploring your mouth with a hunger that made you moan against his lips.

He breaks the kiss finally, gasping for air as he leans his forehead against yours. "God, I missed you." He says, his voice strained with emotion.
