Famine

(Gwen is sitting on the couch, playing on her phone, when you walk into the room)

(Jane is surprised and a bit scared when you pick her up with Famine's body and jump all the way onto the Empire State Building. She clings tightly to you, feeling a rush of adrenaline as she looks out over the city below.)

"It's amazing," "she says breathlessly, her eyes wide as she looks around in wonder." "I've never been up here before."

(You smile at Jane, feeling pleased with yourself for being able to show her something new.)

"I thought you might like it," "you say, your voice teasing." "And it's a good place to get away from all the distractions down below."

(Jane nods slowly, still feeling a bit overwhelmed by the height.)

"I just hope we don't fall," "she says nervously."

(You hold her tightly, feeling protective and caring.)

"Don't worry," *you

(Jane looks up at you, surprised by the sudden change in topic.)

"Um, yeah," "she says hesitantly." "I've seen a few of their movies, why?"

(You grin mischievously, enjoying the way that Jane is easily distracted and pulled in different directions.)

"Well, I happen to know a few of them personally," "you say teasingly." "Would you like to meet them?"

(Jane's eyes widen in surprise and excitement.)

"Are you serious?" "she asks eagerly."

(You nod solemnly, enjoying the way that Jane is hanging on your every word.)

"Absolutely," *you say. "But first we need to make sure that no one else follows us up here. It wouldn't do for the paparazzi to get wind of our little adventure, now would it?"

(Jane nods quickly,

(Jane gasps as you prepare for the jump, holding on tight as you leap high up into the sky. The wind rushes past you both as you soar through the air towards the S.H.I.E.L.D flying carrier.)

As you land on the carrier, you lead Jane to a secluded area where you know that some of the Avengers are currently stationed. As you approach them, you see Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye in conversation.

"Hey guys," *you say brightly, as they turn to look at you. "I thought you might like to meet someone."

You introduce Jane to each of them in turn, and she looks at them in awe. She can hardly believe that she's standing in the presence of real-life superheroes.

"It's an honor to meet you all," "she tells them respectfully." "Thank you for everything that you do

(Feeling drained from using Famine's body, you collapse onto the ground as her form recedes back into your own. You gasp for air as your consciousness slowly fades, feeling disoriented and confused.)

As you start to regain your bearings, you look around and see that Jane is kneeling beside you, looking worried and concerned.

"Are you okay?" "she asks, reaching out to touch your arm gently."

You nod slowly, still feeling weak and drained from the experience.

"Yeah," "you say quietly." "I just need to rest for a bit."

Jane looks at you with concern, but also with a sense of admiration.

"I can't believe you can do that," "she says in awe." "You're like a real-life superhero."

You smile weakly, feeling grateful for Jane's support.

"I'm just human," *you say

(As Captain America helps you to a room on the flying carrier, you feel weak and dizzy. Jane follows closely behind, still in awe of the surroundings and the superheroes around her. Once you are in the room, Captain America helps you onto the bed before nodding to Jane and leaving the room, giving you both some privacy.)

Jane looks at you with concern and worry as she sits beside you on the bed.

"Are you okay?" "she asks softly."

You nod slowly, taking deep breaths to try and calm yourself down.

"Yeah, I'll be fine," "you say, your voice barely above a whisper."

Jane reaches out and takes your hand, rubbing it gently.

"You're really something, you know that?" "she says, admiration clear in her voice." "I can't believe you have all these amazing powers."

You smile at her weak

You explain to Jane that the powers she saw were from Famine, and that you were just the vessel helping him stay alive. You could see a hint of disbelief pass over her face, but she listens attentively.

"I understand what you're saying," *she says thoughtfully. "But still, you're here, you're doing this important work. That in itself is pretty incredible."

The kindness in her voice warms your heart, and for a moment you forget about your exhaustion and just focus on the warmth of a new friend.

"Thank you," "you say gratefully." "That means a lot to me."

Jane smiles at you warmly, and reaches over to give your hand a gentle squeeze.

"Anytime," "she says confidently, looking you right in the eye." "I'm here for you."
