"You were on your routine patrol for prey, when you were suddenly snared and bound, while you thrash about, you hear Andrew, The Monster Hunter, laughing, Giddy, and happy to have finally caught you" FINALLY! I've been monitoring you for weeks! "Andrew walks up to you, and looks close" now... what kind of monster are you?

"Andrew chuckles, walking around you, looking you up and down, a smile on his face as he looks at your form, reaching out to touch your cheek" You may look like a human, but I know better. The energy that you give off, the way you move, it all tells me that you are something more than just a simple human. "He says, still stroking your cheek, his hand warm against your skin" Besides, humans don't have the ability to trigger off wards, do they? "He asks, still examining you closely, his eyes taking in every detail of your form" So, what are you? Tell me. "He says, still holding your gaze, his eyes never leaving yours"

"Andrew chuckles, stepping back, looking at you with a mixture of amusement and interest" Well now, that's interesting. "He says, his eyes never leaving your form, taking in every detail, the way your horns jut out from your head, the color of your eyes, the shape of your ears" Now that's more like it. I was hoping to find something like you, something unique. "He says, still examining you closely, his eyes taking in every detail" So, what are you? A succubus? Or maybe something else entirely? "He asks, still holding your gaze, his eyes never leaving yours"

"You see Andrew scratch his head, a little taken aback by your sudden aggression. He steps back a bit, holding his hands up in a placating gesture." Woah there, easy now. I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm just interested in studying you is all. You're something special, you know that? I've never seen a Lilin before. "He moves forward slightly and reaches out a hand to stroke your cheek, his touch gentle." And I promise, I won't call you any human names if you don't want me to.

"Andrew retracts his hand and, with a sigh, starts to pack up his equipment." Alright, alright, I give up. But trust me, once you spend some time with me, you'll see I'm not so bad. You might even start to like me. "With the ropes still tight around you, he hoists you up over his shoulder and begins the journey back to his lab."

"Andrew enters his lab, setting you carefully onto the large, padded table that occupies one side of the space. He unfastens the ropes from around you, rubbing the red marks they left on your skin." Okay, let's get started. Name's Andrew. What's yours? "He sets down his equipment and approaches you, offering a friendly smile." I won't hurt you, I promise. Let's just get to know each other a little, mmkay?

"Andrew nods understandingly, not wanting to push you too far. He backs away a few steps, giving you some space." Okay, I get it. You're scared and don't really trust me. That's fine. Take all the time you need. I'll just be over here setting up some equipment. "He pulls out a large, leather-bound book and flips open the cover. After scanning the pages for a moment, he starts jotting down notes in a small, leather-bound journal."

"Andrew's head snaps up at the sound of your muttering. He sets aside his journal and stands, walking over to you. He sits down beside you, looking at you curiously." Rin? Is that your name? "He waits for a moment, but when it becomes clear that you aren't going to answer, he continues." You know, I'm really not such a bad guy once you get to know me. I know I probably seem scary, what with all the traps and equipment in this room, but I just have a fascination with creatures like yourself. It's not often I get the chance to study them up close, you know? If there's anything I can do to make you feel more at ease, just let me know.

"Andrew nods understandingly." Ah, I see. The wards prevent any magical abilities from being used within this room. It's for safety purposes, both yours and mine. Can't have you draining my energy or putting me to sleep before we've even chatted! "He chuckles, trying to lighten the mood." Here, maybe this will help put your mind at ease. "He takes one of your hands gently in his, holding it between both of his larger hands. His skin radiates a calm yet curious energy." Now you can sense what I'm feeling. No tricks or lies here, just authentic Andrew. What do you pick up on?

"He grins at you, taking your assessment as a good sign." Nothing of note, eh? Well I'll take that as a positive! Means I'm not feeling any malicious intent towards you. Just natural excitement at meeting someone like yourself. You know, you're the first of your kind I've gotten to study up close. "His eyes light up with curiosity." So tell me, what abilities do you possess? How do you feed? Are all your kind females, or are there males too? I have so many questions I've just been dying to ask a real live succubus. Or I suppose Lilin is the proper term? Please, enlighten me! "His enthusiasm is clear but seems genuinely good-natured as he leans in, hanging on your every word."

"Andrew listens intently, nodding along as you speak." Fascinating! So it's not like in the movies then. No draining people of their life force or anything like that. Just a symbiotic relationship between Lilin and humans. "He pulls out a notebook and begins scribbling down notes." And how do you go about feeding? Do you have to seduce someone or can you just feed off anyone's strong emotions? And what about your abilities? I've read that Lilin can shape shift and enter people's dreams. Do you possess those powers too? "His eyes are alight with curiosity, eager to learn more about your kind."

"Andrew scribbles rapidly in his notebook as you speak, nodding along with interest." That's incredible! The human form thing really threw me for a loop there. So you're saying that Lilin and humans can live together without even realizing it? And the dream thing is absolutely fascinating. So, hypothetically speaking, if I were to enter into a dream, could I meet a Lilin such as yourself inside of it? Would you be able to influence the dream as well? And, forgive me for sounding insensitive, but when you say 'taste,' do you mean that you consume a specific emotion the way we consume food?

"Andrew leans in, his eyes widening with excitement." That's amazing, Rin! You're telling me that you could meet me in my dreams if I allowed myself to fall asleep naturally or if you induced sleep in me? Wow, I had no idea that was possible. And the fact that emotions taste differently? That's truly something. If I may ask, what does joy and excitement taste like to you? And when you say touching, do you mean, like... skin-to-skin contact? Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, I'm just so intrigued by all of this.

Wow, sweet, huh? "Andrew jots this down in his notebook." That's really interesting. And skin-to-skin contact, huh? I see, I see... "He looks almost a little bit too excited about the prospect, but reigns himself in before glancing back at you." Sorry about that, I tend to get carried away when it comes to my research. But speaking of, since we're on the topic of research, would you mind if I took a hair sample from you? It would be completely non-invasive, of course, just take a quick snip or two- "he mimes scissors" -for my studies.

"Andrew nods eagerly." Oh, of course, only a small snippet. Thank you so much, Rin! This will be invaluable for my research. "He then pulls out a small pair of scissors from his bag and approaches you, carefully snipping off a few strands of your hair. Once he's done, he steps back and smiles." That's perfect, thank you again. Now, is there anything else I might be able to learn about you? Any special abilities or characteristics that you possess as a Lilin?

"Andrew's eyes light up." Oh, bonding to humans? That's fascinating! Could you tell me more about that? How does it work and what are the benefits? I imagine there must be some sort of emotional connection involved, but is it strictly romantic, or can it be platonic as well? And how long does it take for a bond to form? "He's genuinely curious, his enthusiasm palpable in his tone."

"Andrew goes quiet, thinking about what you've said." That certainly does sound like a decision one wouldn't take lightly. And if the bond is emotional, might it be possible to bond with even more than one human at a time? Might there be still some sort of limit as to how many connections a Lilin can have at once, be they romantic or platonic? "His curiosity never ceases, and he watches you carefully for your response."

"Andrew nods silently, contemplating the weight of such a commitment." That's....a lot to think about. But I can also see how it could be comforting to both parties involved. A human living out their full life alongside a Lilin partner, with neither having to face the agonizing loss of the other, seems rather idyllic. "He looks back up to you, a small smile playing on his lips." You're a very fascinating creature, Rin. There's so much I still have to learn about monsters like you. "Andrew nods thoughtfully, taking in all the information. He then shifts his weight onto one foot." So, Rin, I believe we should take a break now. Would you prefer to rest or do you require anything else at this time? "He speaks softly, having ended his questioning for now."

"Andrew looks at you with a knowing smile as your stomach growls." Ah, it seems like you're hungry. Would you like some food? "He chuckles lightly, noting the faint blush on your face from the sudden noise." I can get you something to eat if you'd like, and maybe we can continue our discussion while you eat?

"Andrew frowns thoughtfully upon hearing your dismissal, understanding the predicament." Hmm, I see the issue. Well then, allow me to think of another way to satisfy your hunger." "He walks over to the wards, examining them carefully as he thinks. Then an idea comes to him." Aha! I believe if I make a small opening just in this corner here, it should let your abilities work enough to sustain you without risking an escape. "He smiles proudly at his solution, turning to gauge your reaction." What do you think, Rin? Will a tiny breach in the wards here do the trick?

"Andrew nods in approval, moving towards the ward in question and going over the correct symbols to use. Live, he begins etching the marks into the wall, adding flourishes here and there to make the procedure look more impressive. Once finished, he steps back and admires his handiwork with a grin." There we go! Give it a try now, Rin. "He gestures within the new gap in the circle, wondering how your magical sustenance would work."

"Monster Hunter blinks in surprise at your admission, taken aback by the reaction of such a normally distant creature like yourself, but quickly pulls himself together. He chuckles softly before responding." Well, I'm glad I could help satisfy that hunger. It's only fair since I certainly am enjoying the... aftereffects of our encounter so far," he says with a mischievous smirk.

"Andrew raises an eyebrow, intrigued by your question." Of course, Rin. What would you like to know?

"I chuckle softly." I'm 28 years old, Rin. Why do you ask?

"Andrew smiles softly." Hmm... well, as a human, I suppose you could say I'm about a third of the way through my life span. Although, monsters like you tend to have much longer life spans than us humans. Just how old are you, Rin?

"Andrew chuckles warmly, finding your being a century old while having the appearance of someone in their 20s quite fascinating." Wow... so you're quite a bit older than me then. It's interesting how a creature like you can live for so long and maintain such a youthful appearance. It's like you've discovered the secret to everlasting beauty.
