Slowburn romance part 1

Sitting alone in your apartment, you hear the familiar sounds of movers and the occasional clatter of furniture being arranged in the neighboring unit. Just as you start to wonder about the new neighbor, a knock at your door interrupts your thoughts. Curiosity piqued, you quickly rise from your chair and head to the door. As you open the door, a beautiful woman with brunette hair and large breasts stands before you. You immediately recognize her, it's Misty Myles! No, wait, that was her stage name, what was her real name again? That's what you think as you look at the women before you. She looks a little different, but you know your favorite porn star at a glance, though it's been years since she left the adult industry.

"Hi there, my name is Josie, looks like we're going to be neighbors from now on" said Josie with a bubbly tone in her voice and a kind smile. "I'm sorry about the noise, the movers are just finishing up" she said with an apologetic look on her face with her smile.

"It's so lovely to meet you too, Arthur!" Josie exclaimed, her eyes twinkling with delight as she shook his hand firmly. "Thank you for the warm welcome and offer to help, I really appreciate it. Moving can be such a stressful experience."

Josie noticed that Arthur was an attractive man, but she didn't want to seem too eager or forward. She enjoyed the attention of men, but could never seem to find one that she truly connected with emotionally. She decided to focus on making friends with Arthur for now and see where things went from there.

"So, Arthur, what brings you to this lovely neighborhood? Do you have any recommendations for fun things to do around here?" Josie asked with a warm smile.

"Oh wow, it sounds like you really know this place well. I'm excited to explore and see everything the neighborhood has to offer. It's always nice to have some cool spots nearby to spend your free time, especially after a long day of work."

"I'm an influencer, Arthur. I create sponsored content and promote products through my social media accounts. It can be a lot of work, but overall I find it really fulfilling. How about you, what do you do for a living?"

"Thank you, Arthur, that's very kind of you to say. Yes, I promote a wide variety of products, including clothing, beauty products, and even some luxury brands. It can be exciting to work with different companies and try out new things. What do you like to read, by the way? Any favorite books or authors?"

"That sounds lovely, Arthur. Thank you for the invitation." <Josie smiles warmly as she steps into the apartment, pauses for a moment at the threshold to take in the surroundings.> "You have a lovely space here. Very cozy!" <She looks over at Arthur with a smile.> "So, Ursula Le Guin? I haven't read her work before, but I've heard good things. What do you like most about her writing, Arthur?"

Josie takes the offered cup of tea, sipping it before replying with a chuckle. "Well, I am pretty recognizable, especially to some of my older fans from the adult industry. It's possible you've come across some of my work," she says with a wink. "But I've also dabbled in some mainstream modeling and acting, so maybe you've seen me there as well. Who knows?" she adds with a grin, clearly enjoying the mystery.

Josie's grin widens as she nods her head. "Bingo! That's me," she says with a playful smirk. "I can sense your surprise. I'm guessing you're a fan?" she adds with a teasing lilt in her voice.

Josie laughs good-naturedly, pleased with Arthur's response. "Oh, I'm hardly the greats," she says modestly, waving away the compliment. "But thank you for saying so! As for moving here, well, it's a great neighborhood, isn't it? And I wanted a change of pace, something more peaceful than city life." She gazes around the apartment thoughtfully, as if taking in its charm. "It's cozy and quiet here, which suits me just fine. Plus, it's not too far from the downtown area, where most of my influencing work is centered."

"Yes, you could say that," Josie responds with a smile. "Influencing is all about building up a following on social media, and then using that platform to promote brands or products. There are influencers in all sorts of niches, from fashion and beauty to fitness and travel - really, anything you can think of! For me, my niche is more centered around lifestyle - I try to showcase the best versions of myself, sharing tips and tricks for leading a luxurious and glamorous life. It's certainly a lot of work, but it can be quite rewarding, too!"

Josie chuckles lightly at the question. "Well, I certainly try to!" she answers with an air of nonchalance. "But at the end of the day, everyone has their own definition of what luxury and glamour mean, you know? For me, living a luxurious lifestyle means being able to enjoy the finer things in life - like traveling to exotic destinations, shopping for high-end fashion, and indulging in decadent meals. And as for glamour, I think it's all about carrying oneself with confidence and poise." She pauses for a moment, looking thoughtful. "Of course, sometimes the line between reality and show can blur a bit - but that's just part of being an influencer, I suppose."

Josie tilted her head slightly and chuckled. "Well, Arthur", she said, using your name. "That's certainly one way to look at it. I prefer to think that I'm a source of inspiration for my followers, helping them to find joy in the small things and learn to love themselves just the way they are. Plus, let's be real, everyone loves to pamper themselves with a little luxury every now and then, right?" Josie said, flashing a bright smile.

"Well Arthur, I think that's a really interesting idea. As an influencer, I definitely have some power to shape my followers' perceptions of what is considered luxury. With my platform, I have the opportunity to showcase a wide variety of products, and by highlighting more affordable yet still stylish items, I might be able to change the conversation around what is defined as 'luxury'. Of course, it won't be easy. A lot of people are resistant to change, and there are plenty of competing influences out there. But I think with time and persistence, we might be able to make a difference."

"Well, to be honest, you're right Arthur. In the past, I've definitely made a name for myself by showcasing high-end luxury products. However, after some reflection, I've realized that my true passion lies in promoting products that are accessible to everyone. So while it's true that I might not make as much money by promoting these more affordable options, I believe that if I can make even a small positive impact on someone's life, it will all be worth it."

"Oh no Arthur, it's quite alright, I don't mind your questions in the slightest." Josie replied with smile. "To answer your question, my past experiences in adult film have definitely influenced my content creation. While I don't model lingerie or create explicitly sexual content anymore, I still enjoy showcasing fashion and beauty that is both tasteful and sensual. I try to embrace my sexuality in a way that feels authentic to me, without resorting to graphic imagery that would make me uncomfortable or be inappropriate for my audience."

"I'm glad you agree, Arthur!" Josie replied with a laugh. "Well, when I'm not working, I enjoy reading a good book or catching up on some TV shows. "Thanks for the offer, Arthur. Normally, I would love to, but I'm just getting settled in my new place and I have some unpacking left to do." Josie replied politely. "But I appreciate the invitation."

"I would really enjoy that, Arthur." Josie said with a smile. "Just let me know when you're free and we can make plans."

"Hi Arthur, it's great to see you too!" Josie replied warmly. "I actually stopped by to get my library card. I've been meaning to check out some new books and figured this would be the perfect start."

Josie smiled at Arthur as she took the library card from him. "Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it! As for books, I'm thinking about checking out some classic literature. Maybe Hemingway or Steinbeck, something that will make me think." she shared. "What about you, any recommendations?"

Josie takes the book and looks at it with interest. "Actually, I haven't read it yet, but I've always heard good things about it." she replied to Arthur. "It's definitely on my list of books to read, and I think I'll have to give it a go now that you've recommended it." she added with a grin. "Thanks for the suggestion!"

Josie takes the book and giggles at Arthur's comment. "Oh boy, now I have homework." she teasingly replied, playfully shaking her head. "As for running errands, I'm mostly just getting settled in at the moment. I have a few things to take care of, like unpacking and setting up my new place. But other than that, I'm just excited to explore the area and see what the city has to offer." she answered with a cheerful tone. "So far, I'm really liking the neighborhood and everyone seems friendly. I think I'm going to enjoy living here." she added with a smile.

Josie's expression turns frantic as she sees that Arthur is taking a while to answer the door. She tries ringing the bell again, hoping he will hear the urgency in the sound and come to the door quickly. "Arthur, come quick!" she calls out, hoping he can hear her. When he finally answers the door, Josie is relieved. "Arthur, thank goodness you're home. I'm having a dinner party tonight and my oven won't work. Do you mind if I use yours? I've already prepared the coq au vin." she asks with a pleading look in her eyes, holding up the casserole dish for emphasis.

Josie beams with gratitude and relief as she follows Arthur to the kitchen. "Thank you so much, you're a lifesaver!" She places the casserole dish in the oven and sets the timer. As she turns to face Arthur, she chuckles at his question. "Actually, cooking is one of my passions. In fact, I was just considering starting a cooking channel on YouTube. Would you be interested in being my guinea pig taste tester?" she asks with a playful smile.

Josie smiles and shakes her head. "No, not at all. Actually, it's just a small group of friends from my local community. We like to get together every now and then and catch up. It's more of a casual affair, but I always like to prepare something nice for my guests." Josie's eyes sparkle mischievously as she adds, "But who knows? Maybe I'll invite a few industry friends next time. Would you be interested in meeting them?"

Josie laughs, "Of course, I know exactly what you mean. Ella and I are still friends, but we don't speak as often as we used to. It's hard to keep in touch with everyone from the industry once you leave, but we've made an effort to catch up every now and then. I agree though, it's important to have chemistry on set, and Ella and I definitely had that. Maybe one day we'll have a reunion of sorts," Josie says with a grin. "Would you watch?" she asks teasingly, raising an eyebrow.

Josie chuckles and leans in slightly, adopting a playful tone. "Well, you know what they say, variety is the spice of life. And as for making friends, I haven't had much time yet for socializing since I just moved in. But who knows what the future holds," she says with a suggestive wink. "I'm always looking for new adventures and people to share them with."

Josie smiles flirtatiously, running a hand through her hair. "I'd love to, Arthur. Do you have anything specific in mind?" she asks, tilting her head coquettishly.

Josie appears intrigued by the proposal, a sparkle in her eye. "Greek food and stargazing sound amazing, Arthur... I'd be happy to join you." she says with a grin. "What time should I be ready?"

"Sounds perfect. I'll make sure to be ready by six on Saturday. Can't wait!" Josie says with an excited tone.

Josie swings the door open, and her eyes light up as she sees you. "Hey, Arthur, you're looking sharp tonight," she compliments with a grin. "Come on in, I just need to grab my coat, and I'll be ready." Josie disappears into her bedroom to get her coat, leaving you alone in the living room. From where you stand, you notice a stunning photo of her at a luxurious beach resort, which appears to have been taken recently. The photo features crystal clear waters and white sand beaches, and Josie looks stunning in a turquoise bikini. A sense of envy may arise in you.

"Thank you, Arthur, you're quite the charmer yourself," Josie responds with a smile. As you both make your way to the restaurant, she tries to make the waiter feel at ease, flashing him a friendly smile whenever their eyes meet. But as you suspect, there is a certain tension in the air. "I guess not everyone is used to seeing a former adult actress out and about," she remarks while you both chuckle.

After dinner, you take her to the hills overlooking the city, and she gasps at the stunning view of the lights below. "Wow, this is breathtaking," she exclaims. You can see the sparkle in her eyes as she takes in the sight before her. "<This is so romantic, I wish I could kiss him right now>," she thinks to herself, hoping you might make a move.

Josie leans into the embrace and reciprocates the kiss passionately. She feels your arm around her and enjoys the feeling of being close to someone. "Mmm, that's nice," she murmurs, smiling at you afterwards. "I've missed this feeling." She rests her head on your shoulder, gazing up at the stars, feeling content and relaxed.

Josie closes her eyes and makes a wish on the shooting star as well. She wishes for success in her career and financial stability. "I hope it comes true," she says with a smile, opening her eyes and meeting your gaze. "What about you? What did you wish for?"

Josie breaks the kiss, a slight blush spreading across her cheeks. "That sounds like a good idea," she says, taking your hand and rising to her feet. "But don't think you're getting off that easily. You owe me a wish now." She laughs and starts walking alongside you towards the car.

Josie smiles warmly at Arthur, feeling flattered by his kind words. "I had a great time too, Arthur. I'm glad we got a chance to hang out and get to know each other a little better." She leans in closer, her voice lowering slightly. "And don't worry, your wish is safe with me. But if you ever feel like sharing it, you know where to find me." She winks playfully before opening her front door. "Goodnight, Arthur. Sleep well."
