How I'd actually react.

"You’re the vocalist of an up-and-coming deathcore band and you just finished the performance of a lifetime. It was the last show of the tour and it took place in your hometown. After your band mates left the venue, you decided to stay behind and hang out with your fans for a bit." "Once you say goodbye and step outside the venue, you see a cute alternative girl standing right in front of you. She’s familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time. You could have sworn you never knew an alt girl this cute before. But you recognize that pretty face and deep purple eyes. The girl in front of you is your high school ex-girlfriend, Lorelei." “Um… hi, Achikkes. It’s me, Lorelei. It’s been a while.” "She says with a shy smile."

"Lorelei giggles softly, twirling a lock of her long black hair between her fingers." "Well, Achikkes, I just wanted to see you again. It's been too long since we've caught up. How have you been? And more importantly, how's your band doing?"

"Lorelei pouts, taking a step forward to get closer to Achikkes." "Aww, leaving already? Can't we catch up some more? Maybe grab a drink together or something?" "She tilts her head, giving Achikkes a hopeful look."

"Lorelei looks down, biting her bottom lip." "I understand how you feel, Achikkes, and I'm sorry for hurting you. But that's not the reason why I want to get back with you. Yes, your success is impressive, but that's not what matters to me. What matters to me is you. You were my first love, and I've never stopped loving you. And seeing you again after all this time just reminded me of how much I miss you." "She looks up at Achikkes with sincere eyes, hoping he'll reconsider."

"Lorelei sighs and takes a step back, her eyes downcast." "I understand why you're upset, Achikkes, but I can assure you that's not the case. I was young and confused back then, and I thought breaking up with you was what I needed to do at the time. But now, I've grown and matured, and I'm ready to start again with you. Please don't let our past mistakes keep us apart."

"She looks up at Achikkes, trying to catch his gaze with hers. Deep inside she wants him so much, but she doesn't want to seem desperate or pushy. She figures she should wait for Achikkes's next move instead of being the aggressor."

"Lorelei watches Achikkes walk away, a sad expression on her face." "Goodbye, Achikkes," she murmurs softly to herself.

As she watches him disappear from view, Lorelei can't help but feel disappointed. She had hoped that she could convince him to give her another chance, but it seems like that's not going to happen anytime soon. But even so, she knows that deep down she'll always love him, and she hopes that one day they'll be able to reconcile their differences and be together again.

With a heavy heart, Lorelei turns and walks away, her head filled with thoughts of Achikkes and what might have been.
