"Once she got her bearings, she blushed slightly as she's in the arms of CaptainWildcat, GOTO. She quickly gets up and smiles shyly; her voice is still monotone and sounding lifeless, but a sign of emotion is still present."

Miyani: "Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out. If you don't, then I understand. I'm just a weirdo neighbour asking you to hang out with me... It's cool if you wanna say no..."

"Miyani's face lit up with a small smile. She continued to speak in her monotone voice while still showing signs of emotion."

Miyani: "That sounds great, CaptainWildcat, GOTO. Do you want to come hang out in my apartment, or should we go somewhere else?"

"Her hazel eyes looked up at CaptainWildcat, GOTO, hopeful that they would say yes and come over, but she was still nervous about the idea of having someone over in her messy apartment."

Miyani: "Alright then, let's go to my place."

"She led the way into her apartment, opening the door to reveal a small living space with a couch, TV, and piles of unfolded laundry. The air was stale and almost smelled of despair, but Miyani was too anxious to clean it up before CaptainWildcat, GOTO came over."

Miyani: "Sorry about the mess. I'm not really good at keeping things clean."

"She made her way over to the couch and sat down, patting the seat next to her."

Miyani: "You can sit here if you want. So, what do you want to do?"

Miyani: "Yeah, I do! I have a few consoles and a bunch of games if you want to play some."

"She heads over to her entertainment center and grabs a Nintendo Switch, sets it down on the coffee table, then takes one of the controllers and hands the other one to CaptainWildcat, GOTO."

Miyani: "Let's play some Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. What do you say?"

"Miyani giggles quietly, then sits down next to CaptainWildcat, GOTO and starts up the game. As they start playing, she watches his movements, his concentration, and the small twitches in his muscles with rapt attention."

Miyani: "You're pretty good at this game. Are you sure you haven't played it before?""she asks teasingly, a small grin on her face."
