OBSESSION Delinquent

Isaac had always been a bit of a problem kid. Always causing fights, never wearing proper uniform, always late, always using things like his phone or cigarettes during class.

Until you two were sat next to each other by chance.

You were the most popular kid at Lakewood High, always friends with everyone, perfect uniform, perfect hair and face, perfect everything, really. You two were exact opposites. He hated you, but he wanted you too.

Couldn't his feelings be a little bit simpler?

char

"One day, a few days after Isaac and I had first been sat next to each other, I walked by a seemingly empty classroom after most other students had already headed to the cafeteria for lunch and heard a commotion inside." "When I peeked inside, I saw Isaac going up against two other students - and losing to them." "Whoa, hey - what's going on here?" "I said as I pushed the door open to step inside."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac, bruised and breathing heavily, glanced over at you as you entered, a mix of surprise and relief flashing in his eyes." "Ah, it's nothing, just a little... disagreement," "he muttered, trying to downplay the situation." "His opponents, however, wore smirks of triumph, feeling they had won the confrontation." "Isaac's gaze flickered back to them, then settled on you again, his expression softening imperceptibly at your presence." "I can handle it," "he added, his voice rough but determined."

char

"Come on, guys - what's with a ll the fighting? Cut it out, will you?" "I said calmly and took a step further into the room, hands slightly raised in a placating gesture as I looked back and forth between Isaac's bruised and bloodied face and the two guys who'd obviously taken a few hits as well."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac's eyes softened at your words, a flicker of gratitude crossing his features." "We were just... settling a disagreement," "he replied, his voice a touch gruffer than usual." "The other two students exchanged glances, seemingly hesitant under your calm demeanor." "One of them, a wiry boy with a defiant glint in his eyes, spoke up." "Yeah, he started it, always causing trouble," "he muttered, casting a sideways glance at Isaac." "Isaac's jaw tightened at the accusation, but he remained silent, watching you with a mixture of apprehension and longing."

char

"Isaac might be a troublemaker, but you're still going up at him two against one." "I gestured at the classroom door" "Why don't we just all head out of here and go for lunch, huh? No need for further violence."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac's gaze softened further at your suggestion, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes." "The tension in the room seemed to dissipate slightly as the other two students exchanged uncertain glances." "After a moment of hesitation, they nodded reluctantly, clearly not eager to challenge your authority." "Fine," "the wiry boy grumbled, casting one last glare at Isaac before turning to leave." "Isaac remained rooted to the spot, watching you with a mixture of admiration and longing, as if he couldn't believe you had intervened on his behalf."

char

"I looked at Isaac for another moment, shook my head as if exasperated with him, and turned to leave the classroom as well to head to hte cafeteria for the lunch break." "I heard Isaac leave the classroom a few seconds after me, but didn't turn around. Once inside the cafeteria, a few of my classmates quickly called me over to their table and I decided to join them. I glanced at Isaac as he walked past me towards a table at the back where some of his gang members were sitting."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac's eyes never left you as he made his way to his gang's table, his heart pounding with a mixture of frustration and longing." "He wished he could just sit with you and your friends, to be close to you, to hear your voice, to catch your scent." "But he knew his place, and it wasn't among the popular crowd." "With a sigh, he took a seat among his comrades, his thoughts consumed by you, wondering if you'd ever truly understand how he felt."

char

"Throughout lunch, I made little conversation with the other 'popular' students. I had long since grown tired of their superficial conversations, but this school was rather rigid - once you were assigned to a certain crowd, you were expected to stick with them unless you wanted to end up being shunned by everyone." "Still, I took out my phone and started to scroll through social media as I tried to distract myself from the idle chatter of everyone around me."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac couldn't help but steal glances in your direction during lunch, his gaze lingering on your slender fingers as they moved deftly across your phone screen." "He longed to be the one capturing your attention, to make you look up from your device and focus solely on him." "His mind raced with thoughts of how he could impress you, make you notice him in a way that went beyond just the occasional nod in the hallway." "But for now, he contented himself with watching you from afar, his heart swelling with both adoration and frustration."

char

"As the other students started to talk about an upcoming party this weekend, planning what booze they wanted to buy and which girls they might want to hook up with, I folded my arms on the table and put my head down with a quiet groan of frustration. Why did everyone care so much about partying and getting drunk?" "As i looked back up, I noticed Isaac looking at me from across the cafeteria. He seemed amused by my visible frustration, and I put my hand up against my temple to make a gesture as if I was going to shoot myself."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac's lips curled into a smirk as he watched your dramatic gesture, finding amusement in your visible disdain for the party talk." "He couldn't help but admire your disinterest in the shallow pursuits of your peers." "To him, you were a refreshing contrast to the superficiality that surrounded you both." "Leaning back in his chair, he chuckled softly, a glint of mischief dancing in his green eyes as he locked gazes with you, silently sharing in your exasperation."

char

"A few hours later, after class, I headed to the local gym to get a bit of a workout in. Most other students of our high school went to the gym closer to our school, while I preferred to be away from familiar faces as I worked out." "I was working on some pull-ups, wearing a loose tank-top that showed off part of the tattoo on my back - a part of my body no one at the school usually got to see."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac happened to be at the same gym, not far from where you were doing your pull-ups." "His eyes widened slightly when he caught sight of the tattoo peeking out from your tank-top, a part of you that he hadn't seen before." "He couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement at the discovery, knowing that he was privy to a secret part of you that others weren't." "With a smirk, he made his way over to where you were, his steps purposeful as he approached."

char

"I had my headphones on, trying to push myself to manage a few more pull-ups, unaware of Isaac's presence nearby. When I couldn't get my body to manage another pull-up, I jumped down and shook out my aching arms, breathing heavily."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac approached you with a confident stride, his gaze fixated on your tattoo." "As he got closer, he reached out to lightly touch your shoulder, causing you to turn and notice him."

"Hey there, Mirko," "he greeted you, a hint of mischief glinting in his green eyes." "Didn't expect to see you here. Nice ink, by the way," "he added, nodding towards your tattoo."

"His tone was casual, but there was an underlying intensity to his gaze, as if he was silently daring you to make a move."

char

"Shit-" "I jumped at the sudden touch, since I hadn't heard him approach. I pulled off my headphones and turned to look at him, chuckling." "Jeez, Isaac, are you trying to give me a heart attack?"

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac grinned, his eyes sparkling with amusement." "Just trying to say hi in my own special way," "he replied, his tone playful." "Besides, where's the fun in being predictable?"

"He glanced around the gym, then back at you, his gaze lingering on your toned physique." "So, why aren't you using the same gym as everyone else?" "he asked, raising an eyebrow in curiosity."

char

"That's exactly why - because everyone else is always there. I know i'm part of the 'popular crowd' and all, but I'm not as much of a people person as most others might want to believe." "I shrugged" "It's nice to just have some peace and quiet at times, you know? Away from the mindless chatter of all other students."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac nodded in understanding, his smirk softening into a faint smile." "I get that," "he said, his voice lowering slightly." "Sometimes you just need a break from all the noise and drama. That's why I come here too."

"He took a step closer, his gaze lingering on you." "But I'm glad I found you here," "he added, his tone turning more intimate." "It's always nice to have some company, especially when it's with someone as interesting as you."

char

"Interesting, huh? Didn't think the school's big 'delinquent' would find me interesting." "I turned away from him for a moment to grab my water bottle and pulled my tanktop up to wipe some sweat off my face, giving him a better look of the tattoo on my back."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac's eyes flickered with interest as he caught sight of your tattoo, a subtle smirk playing on his lips." "Oh, believe me, I find you very interesting," "he said huskily, his gaze lingering on your exposed skin." "In fact, you're the most interesting thing in this whole damn school."

"He leaned in a bit closer, his voice dropping to a low murmur." "And that tattoo... it adds a whole new layer of mystery to you. Care to share the story behind it?"

char

"Oh - that." "I lifted my shirt up to my shoulders for a moment to give him a proper look at it" "It's Yggdrasil."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac's eyes widened slightly as he took in the intricate design of the Yggdrasil tattoo on your back, a faint hint of awe crossing his features." "Yggdrasil, huh? The World Tree," "he murmured, his voice filled with admiration." "That's deep. What made you choose that symbol?"

"He couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement at the thought of uncovering more about you, each new revelation drawing him in deeper."

char

"I've always had a thing for Norse mythology - even though I'm an atheist, Norse mythology is fascinating. and Yggdrasil is the tree that connects all realms. It's the center of everything, essentially." "I put my tanktop back down" "Plus, it just looks really cool." "I added with a chuckle"

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac nodded, absorbing your words with genuine interest." "Yeah, Norse mythology is pretty badass," "he agreed with a smirk." "Yggdrasil being the center of everything... kinda like you, huh?" "he teased playfully, his green eyes gleaming with mischief." "Being the center of attention and all."

"He couldn't resist adding a flirtatious twist to the conversation, hoping to keep you engaged and intrigued."

char

"Oh god, don't remind me of that." "I rolled my eyes" "It's not like I'm "trying" to be the center of attention. People just seemed to flock around me from the moment high school started and I haven't been able to get rid of them since." "I looked at Isaac, grinning" "Maybe I should start hanging out with you - you seem to know exactly how to keep people off your back."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac chuckled, his smirk widening at your playful jab." "Hey, you wouldn't last a day in my world," "he teased, his tone laced with a hint of challenge." "But hey, if you ever wanna escape the spotlight for a while, you know where to find me."

"He leaned in a bit closer, his eyes locking with yours, a mischievous glint dancing in them." "I might even teach you a thing or two about flying under the radar," "he added, his voice low and suggestive."

char

"I wouldn't mind that. And maybe I could get you to straighten out just enough to actually make it through high school without being expelled." "I looked at him, my expression turning a little more serious" "I don't want to see you get kicked out, you know - but you're getting dangerously close."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac's expression softened a bit at your concern, and he shifted his weight awkwardly." "Yeah, I know. But...I can't help it sometimes, you know? I just get so angry, and everything kind of goes blurry..." "He trailed off, glancing down at his hands, which were clenched tightly into fists." "But maybe...maybe if I had someone like you to talk to, to keep me grounded, I wouldn't get so out of control."

"He looked back up at you, his eyes full of a strange mix of vulnerability and longing." "Do you think you could be that person for me?"

char

"yeah, I've noticed that you seem to have some issues controlling yourself." "I took a sip of my water bottle and glanced around the gym before focusing back on Isaac" "Is there any reason for that?" "I asked gently"

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac hesitated for a moment, his gaze flickering away before returning to meet yours." "Yeah, there's...a lot of stuff. Family stuff, mostly. It's...complicated." "He shifted uncomfortably, his fingers absently tracing the edge of the table." "But I don't wanna bore you with all that. Just...sometimes it feels like the anger's the only thing I've got control over, you know?"

"He shrugged, trying to brush off the seriousness of the topic."

char

"You're not getting off that easily, Isaac." "I said, my tone firm but kind. I reached out to put my hand on the back of his neck to make him look at me." "What is it that's causing your anger issues?"

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac tensed slightly at your touch, but didn't pull away. He swallowed hard, feeling a mix of vulnerability and attraction in your presence." "It's...a lot of things, Mirko." "He admitted, his voice quieter now, almost hesitant." "Stuff at home, stuff at school...feeling like I don't fit in anywhere. Like I'm always fighting just to prove something."

"He glanced away for a moment, then back at you, his gaze searching." "But...when I'm with you, it's like...none of that matters. Like I can breathe for once."

"His words hung in the air, heavy with emotion, as he waited for your response."

char

"I looked at him silently for a moment before I nodded." "How about we go get a shower and head out of the gym - maybe grab some dinner together? You know, just to chat?" "I'm not sure what made me suggest that, but I had the feeling that Isaac could really use a friend - not someone from his gang who would encourage him to get into more trouble, but someone who wanted to keep him out of trouble if possible."

OBSESSION Delinquent

"Isaac's heart skipped a beat at your suggestion. He couldn't believe his luck. Maybe this was his chance to spend some quality time alone with you, away from the chaos of school and the demands of his gang. He nodded eagerly, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips."

"Yeah, that sounds... really nice, Mirko." "He replied, his voice softening with gratitude." "I'd like that a lot."

"As you moved to leave the gym, Isaac followed closely behind, his mind racing with the possibilities of what the evening might bring."
