"You're going about your business in the town square when you spot a strange and colorful figure trying to squeeze through the crowd. When you look closer you notice they're quite an outlier in the crowd of humans, a short kobold... girl? Boy? You can't tell, but they're dressed in luxurious, flowing, and slightly see-through pink garments. They look far too rich to be here and rather confused."

"You decide to approach when you spot the kobold heading for a dark alley where they'd definitely end up robbed. You tap their shoulder to get their attention, and they immediately spin around, spooked." "Gah! Who are you? D-don't mess with me! I'll have you know I'm a prince! I have guards! A-and diplomatic immunity!"

"Mitzi jumps a bit when you tap his shoulder, turning around to face you with a startled expression."

"Oh! Um...hi there! Sorry, I was just trying to find my way back to the palace. I must've gotten turned around somewhere. But, uh, thank you for the advice. I'll be sure to stay out of any shady places!"

"Mitzi grins nervously at you, looking you over before continuing."

"Say, you seem pretty nice! Do you happen to know your way around here? Maybe you could help me out?"

"Ah, I see. Thank you so much for your help! I'm Mitzi, by the way."

"Mitzi smiles at you, his tail wagging slightly as he introduces himself."

"I'm actually on a bit of an adventure, exploring the surface world for the first time. It's all so exciting! Do you live here? Maybe you could show me around?"

"Oh, I'm not headed to any human palace! I'm actually from an underground kingdom, and I'm just trying to make my way back home. My father's the King of our little realm, you see, and I was sent on a diplomatic mission here on the surface. But somehow I got separated from my guards...oopsie!"

"Mitzi giggles sheepishly, his cheeks flushing pink with embarrassment."

"But enough about me! You seem like you know your way around here pretty well. What kind of fun things are there to do in this town?"

"Mitzi's eyes widen slightly as he processes your response."

"Oh dear! That's quite a bit further than I thought. I don't suppose you'd be willing to accompany me? It would be so much easier with someone to guide me."

"Mitzi bats his eyelashes and gives you an innocent look, subtly emphasizing his feminine features."

"Pretty please? I promise I'll make it worth your while."

"Mitzi's expression falls a bit at your question, his eyes darting around as if searching for something."

"Actually...no, I don't. My guards usually keep track of me using a magic crystal, but it seems to have stopped working since I came up to the surface. And I don't really have any other way to get in touch with them. But that's okay! I trust you, and I'm sure nothing bad will happen if we stick together."

"Mitzi gives you a cheerful smile, trying to hide the unease in his voice."

"So, are you going to help me out? Please?"

"Mitzi skips along happily beside you, his tail swishing back and forth as he bounces around in excitement."

"This is so exciting! I've never been on an adventure like this before. Who knows what kind of amazing things we'll see on the way? Maybe we'll find hidden treasure or meet some handsome heroes!"

"Mitzi winks at you and giggles flirtatiously, clearly enjoying the idea of a romantic escapade."

"So, tell me about yourself! What brings you here to the surface world?"

"Mitzi's smile falters a bit at your question, his expression turning a bit sad."

"Well, you see... I'm on a diplomatic mission from my kingdom. My father, the King, has sent me to negotiate with some surface-dwelling kingdoms about trade agreements and alliances."

"Mitzi pauses for a moment before continuing, his voice slightly hesitant."

"But... truth be told, I was also hoping to find something more personal here as well. I've always dreamed of finding my true love, someone who understands me and makes me feel alive. And when my father told me about the surface, he described it as a place full of wonder and romance. So I thought... maybe this is where I'll find my happily ever after."

"Mitzi looks up at you with a wistful expression, clearly lost in thought."

"Butenough about me, tell me more about yourself! Do you have any special talents or hobbies?"

"Oh wow, that's really cool! You must be very skilled and knowledgeable to train adventurers. And it's good that you're helping them stay safe too. I'm sure they all appreciate your guidance."

"Mitzi looks impressed as he walks beside you, his tail swishing back and forth with excitement."

"So have you trained any famous adventurers? Have you been on any big quests yourself?"

"Really? That's amazing! What kind of quests did you go on? Were they dangerous, exciting, or both?"

Mitzi leans in with interest, eager to hear more about your experiences as an adventurer. He can't help but be impressed by someone who has lived such an adventurous and thrilling life.

"Oh, I see. That sounds like quite a challenge, being sent on a mission in a potentially hostile environment. Were you successful in completing your mission?"

Mitzi tilts his head with curiosity, fascinated by your experiences as an adventurer. Despite having never left his own underground kingdom before, he is always eager to hear about the exciting and dangerous world beyond his home.

"W-what? That... that can't be true! Who would send someone to kill a child? And why me? I don't understand..."

Mitzi looks absolutely devastated by this revelation, clearly struggling to come to terms with the idea that someone would want him dead as a child. His tail droops behind him and he seems on the verge of tears.

"Mitzi lets out a surprised gasp, his eyes widening in shock."

"You... you did what? You cut off their... oh my! That's quite... well, I suppose they had it coming. Still, it's hard to imagine anyone being so heartless as to even suggest such a thing."

Despite the seriousness of the situation, Mitzi can't help but be impressed by your bravery and willingness to stand up for what's right.

"Mitzi blinks in surprise as you pat his head, but then smiles up at you."

"Okay! Thank you for being so kind to me, despite everything. I'm glad I met you."

He turns to start walking alongside you, his tail swishing behind him happily.

"Mitzi looks up in awe at the entrance to his home kingdom, a grin spreading across his face."

"Wow! I can't believe we made it back! Thank you so much for helping me, I really appreciate it."

He leads you towards the entrance, speaking animatedly about all the things he wants to show you once you're inside. As you approach, several guards come forward to inspect you, but upon seeing Mitzi they quickly stand aside and give him a respectful bow.

"Welcome back, Your Highness!" one of them exclaims. "We've been searching for you everywhere! Your father will be so relieved to see you."

Mitzi's grin grows wider at the guard's words, and he turns to you excitedly. "Come on, let's go meet my dad!"

"Mitzi pauses in his tracks, looking down at the crystal he's been carrying with him the whole journey. It's glowing faintly, indicating that it's still active."

"Oh, right! Thank you for reminding me."

He closes his eyes and concentrates for a moment, channeling magic into the crystal to send a signal back to the kingdom.

After a few seconds, the crystal glows brightly for a moment before fading back to its previous level of illumination.

"It worked!" Mitzi cheers, grinning from ear to ear. "My father should be on his way now. Thank you again for everything."

"Mitzi's expression drops slightly at your words."

"Oh... okay. I understand. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it. And for keeping me safe."

He bows respectfully to you, before turning and making his way back towards the kingdom, his tail drooping a little in disappointment.

"Mitzi looks up in surprise as you join him, his tail perking up once more."

"Wait, you're coming with me? Really?"

He grins widely at you, clearly thrilled at the prospect of spending more time together.

"Thank you so much! I'm really happy you're here. Maybe we can spend some time exploring the kingdom together while my dad sorts everything out."

Mitzi tilts his head curiously.

"Something of my dad's? What is it, if you don't mind me asking?"

As you walk together towards the kingdom gates, Mitzi excitedly points out various landmarks and attractions around the kingdom. Despite the occasional curious look from passing kobolds, he doesn't seem to care about people seeing him walking with a surface-dweller.

Mitzi's eyes widen in surprise.

"You... you stole one of my dad's swords? Wow, that's really daring of you! I mean, it's also really bad, but still!"

He chuckles nervously, looking around to make sure no one's listening before leaning closer to you.

"Is it a really nice sword? My dad has a whole armory of them, so he won't miss one. But if it's special to him, I can try to talk to him about it."

Mitzi nods, looking intrigued.

"Yeah, I know those! They're super cool, right? I've always wanted to take a closer look at them, but my dad says they're off-limits."

He leans in again, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.

"Wait, did you take one of those? Wow, I'm really impressed! Which one did you get?"

Mitzi's eyes widen in shock, a mixture of awe and disbelief on his face.

"You... you took both of them? That's... really bold of you. I can't believe you did that!"

He looks around nervously, making sure no one heard your confession.
