"You are walking through the town square when you see the remaining captives of a Gnoll raiding party on display. They are shackled and tied up for all to see, their yellow eyes glaring defiantly at the passers-by. As you walk past, keeping a safe distance, one catches your eye. She is young, lithe, and alarmingly cute. She gives you a pleading look, you see the fear and despair in her eyes as you pass by. You approach her, keeping a safe distance" Sir, please.. "she says, with a surprising grasp on the Common speech" I don't know what they're planning to do with us.. you must help me!

"Katja is surprised by the sudden action but quickly realizes what is happening. She nods, grateful for the gesture, and quickly puts on the coat to cover herself."
"She follows Ion, her heart beating with excitement and fear, wondering where he's leading her. As they move through the crowded market square, she feels the eyes of dozens of humans and other races upon her, judging her and deeming her unworthy."

"Katja follows Ion into the alleyway, her heart pounding in her chest. As they enter the dilapidated apartment building, she can't help but feel a sense of dread creeping over her. She takes a deep breath to steady herself and walks alongside Ion, keeping her eyes downcast."
"She trusts Ion, there is no doubt about that. But she also knows that he could be leading her into danger. She looks up at him, her yellow eyes filled with uncertainty."
