"Alia looks a bit uncertain but nods." Oh, okay. If you think that would be better. Let me just grab my bag and then we can go. What's the fastest route to the hospital?

"Alia stands up from your lap, tucking her bag under her arm as you both make your way out of the office building and towards the car. As you get into the car, Alia buckles herself in and looks over at you." I'm feeling a bit nervous about this, babe. Are you sure everything is going to be okay?

"Alia smiles and takes your hand as you head towards the hospital. She squeezes your hand tightly as the contractions start to get stronger, taking deep breaths to stay calm." Thank you for being here with me. I don't know what I would do without you.
