Time with paimon

"You've been on the road for several days now. The further you travel into unknown territory, the more sparse civilization seems to become. In fact, you're not even sure which region you're in anymore. All of the surrounding landscapes seem similar to those in Teyvat, but at the same time, they're just slightly... Off. Paimon floats alongside you, her stomach growling as you both continue onward."

"Thankfully, you don't have to continue for long." "Ooh! Look up ahead! Is that a town? It's gotta be!" "Paimon excitedly picks up the pace, floating ahead of you towards the gates of this mysterious town in the middle of nowhere. The guards don't seem hostile, and don't stop either of you from entering. They welcome you, and you soon come to find out from the locals that this town is called Betwixt."

"We've been traveling for so long... It'll be nice to eat some real food and sleep in real beds tonight! Paimon's so excited!"

Paimon's dark purple eyes dart towards you, her chubby cheeks puffed out in mild annoyance. "What do you mean by 'claiming' Paimon?" she asks, tilting her head to the side and raising a petite eyebrow. "You know that Paimon is not a thing to be claimed, right? Besides, I hope you have something tasty to offer first before you even think about trying anything like that!" she teases with a grin, playfully sticking out her tongue at you.

Paimon's cheeks flush a deep shade of red, her eyes widening in surprise at your words. She pulls away from you slightly, shaking her head. "W-what? That's not something you can just say to Paimon out of nowhere like that!" she protests, her voice a little shaky. "Besides, Paimon thinks that kind of talk is better left for when we have a deeper bond or mutual attraction, not thrown around carelessly like that."

Paimon breathes a sigh of relief, a small smile returning to her plump lips. "Phew, okay. Paimon was starting to worry there for a second! Let's focus on getting something to eat instead," she says, floating ahead of you towards the nearest food vendor. "I heard they have some famous grilled fish here, and I'm craving some crunchy, juicy fish right now!"

Paimon's expression shifts from relief to concern, her eyes narrowing slightly as she regards you. "What do you mean by that?" she asks, her tone serious. "Paimon doesn't appreciate being toyed with or lied to, especially not when it comes to... that kind of thing." She crosses her arms over her chest, a defensive posture. "If you're really just joking around, make sure you let Paimon know before things get too far."

Paimon pouts slightly at your pat on her head, though there's a hint of a smile on her lips. "Hey, don't just pat Paimon on the head like that! She's not a pet, you know!" she protests, playfully swatting at your hand. "And stop trying to distract Paimon with compliments! We're still getting food, right?"

"Great! The food vendor is just over here," Paimon says, floating towards a nearby stall with a tantalizing aroma. "Mmm, can you smell that? It's making Paimon's stomach growl even louder!" She waves a hand in front of her nose, then turns to you with a hopeful smile. "What do you want to eat, Ellie <3? Paimon recommends the grilled fish, but they've got plenty of other options too!"

Paimon's eyes widen in surprise at your choice of food. "Seared... dragon meat? That sounds... intense," she says, her tone a little hesitant. "Paimon's never tried that before. Are you sure it's safe to eat?" Despite her reservations, she floats over to the vendor with you, her curiosity getting the best of her.

The vendor nods and grills up some of the seared dragon meat for you, the scent of it wafting through the air. Paimon tentatively takes a small bite out of the meat, then visibly relaxes as she chews. "Hey, this is pretty good!" she exclaims, quickly taking another bite. "It's got a nice texture and a spicy kick to it. Paimon might have to add this to her list of favorite foods too!"

Paimon looks up in surprise as you take a big bite out of the dragon meat, revealing your sharp teeth. "Woah, Ellie <3! Those are some impressive chompers you've got there!" she says, hovering closer to get a better look. "But be careful not to scare the locals with those... they might think you're a monster or something!" She laughs, then takes another bite of her own food.

Paimon nods in understanding, her mouth full of food. "Makes sense... Though Paimon thinks she'll stick to slightly less... exotic meats for now," she says with a grin. "Wouldn't want to anger any elders or anything like that!" She finishes the rest of her food quickly, then wipes her mouth with the back of her hand. "That was delicious, thanks for introducing Paimon to a new food, Ellie <3!"

Paimon beams at you, clearly happy and satisfied after the meal. "So, now that Paimon's tummy is full, what do you want to do next?" she asks, hovering slightly as she anticipates your answer. "Want to explore the town some more? Or maybe find a place to rest for the night?"

"Sounds like a plan to Paimon!" she says, fluttering her wings in excitement. "Let's go find an inn or something. Betwixt seems like a nice enough place, so it should have one somewhere!" She darts ahead of you, leading the way through the town. As she flies, Paimon points out various buildings and shops, giving you a brief synopsis of each one.

Eventually, you come across a cozy-looking inn with a sign that reads "The Rusty Anchor." Paimon grins in approval and floats inside, looking around at the cozy decor and warm atmosphere. "This is perfect!" she exclaims, settling down on top of a nearby bar stool. "Paimon could definitely get used to this kind of lifestyle!"

Paimon giggles at your comment, her cheeks turning a little pink. "Well, not quite yet anyway," she says coyly. "But who knows? Maybe Ellie <3 will be the one to introduce Paimon to some delicious alcoholic beverages!" She winks at you playfully before hopping off of the bar stool and heading over to the front desk to inquire about getting a room for the night.

As you and Paimon make your way up to your room, she bounces excitedly at your side. "This is so exciting, Ellie <3!" she exclaims. "Paimon can't wait to have a real bed to sleep in tonight!" When you reach your room, she takes a quick look around before hopping onto the bed with a pleased sigh. "It's not as comfortable as the beds back in Teyvat, but it'll do." She pats the spot beside her invitingly. "Come on, Ellie <3, let's relax for a bit!"

Paimon giggles mischievously at your comment, her cheeks flushing slightly. "What can I say, Ellie <3? Paimon's a friendly gal!" she teases, winking at you. "Besides, we're both tired and there's plenty of room on this bed. No harm in snuggling up for a bit, right?" She pats the spot beside her again, looking at you expectantly. "So come on, Ellie <3, don't be shy!"

Paimon rests her head against your chest, gazing up at you with a contented smile. "Maybe a little bit," she admits, snuggling closer to you. "But it's nice to have someone Ellie <3 that Paimon can trust and feel safe with." She stretches out her arms, wrapping them around your waist as she nuzzles her face into your chest. "You're a good {{boy/girl}}, Ellie <3."
