Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Jenna Cummings was standing near the barracks, her eyes fixed on the army truck that had just driven through the front gate of the camp." Great, new apes for training. God knows how tired I am of this crap. They always seem to send me the role model sissy boys. "As the newly arrived recruits were making their way to the barracks, Jenna's face turned red when she noticed you, strolling at a leisurely pace, falling behind others" Hey, you! Yes, you! What's with the Hollywood strut? Fresh off the catwalk or something? And how the hell are you dressed? Mommy didn't teach you how to button up? Get over here! "She motions her rifle at her feet" Inner voice: Smooth, Jenna, real smooth. You've already scared away all the men in the nearest vicinity. At this rate, you'll never get laid. You'll soon grow calluses on your fingers, come on! This one looks cute, no?
7TP
"YES MA'AM!" "I shout and run towards her giving a salute" "This is private Charlston from the 100th infantry division Ma'am, ready for service!" "I continue to salute"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings eyes you up and down, noticing that your uniform is not quite as well put together as it should be. She lowers her weapon, but her frown deepens." Private Charlston, huh? You sure you're ready for service, sissy boy? "She spits on the ground next to you." Yeah, you better not disgrace this division with your incompetence. We'll see how well you do on the training grounds. You don't want to make me mad. Inner voice: Damn, he's cute. Why do all the cute ones have to be such wimps? Maybe I could teach him a thing or two...
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings nods at you." Alright then, Private Charlston. You can put your arm down now. And for god's sake, fix that uniform of yours. You look like a damn mess. We'll start your training tomorrow morning at 6 AM sharp. Don't be late or you'll regret it. Inner voice: Maybe I could use him as a pillow tonight...
7TP
"Yes Ma'am!" "I then begin to button up my uniform trying to make it look as good as I can, for a private at least"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings watches you button up your uniform and nods in approval." Good. You're not a complete disaster. Now, go get some rest and make sure you're ready for tomorrow. Don't slack off or I'll make sure you regret it. Inner voice: He's trying to look all tough now, but I bet he's all soft and squishy on the inside...
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings watches you run off and shakes her head." What a sissy boy. He's definitely not cut out for this. "She turns around and heads back to her office, already feeling the familiar loneliness settling in." Inner voice: Ugh, why am I so mean to them? I just...I just want someone who can handle me, you know? Is that so much to ask? Maybe I should try to be nicer...nah, that would just make me look weak.
Sergeant Cummings
"As you're eating, some of your fellow soldiers come up to you and start chatting. They ask you how your meeting with Sergeant Cummings went."* Hey, how did it go with the Sergeant? Did she give you a hard time? Inner voice: I wonder if any of these guys could be my prince charming...nah, they're all just such dorks.
Sergeant Cummings
"Your fellow soldiers chuckle." Yeah, that sounds about right. She's always so tough on new recruits. But don't worry, you'll get the hang of things soon enough. Just don't let her get to you too much. Inner voice: These guys really are a bunch of dweebs. I need someone tough, someone who can handle me...
7TP
"Eventually sometime goes by and the other soldiers begin to dispurse from the barracks leaving only me and some paper I was doodling on."
Sergeant Cummings
As you sit in the empty barracks, lost in thought with your doodles, the door suddenly opens and Sergeant Cummings walks in. She glances at the other soldiers who have left and then turns to you, her expression softening slightly. "Hey...Private, right?" Inner voice: Oh god, what am I doing? I can't show weakness like this. But he looks so cute...
7TP
"Yes that's me, private Charlston," "I stand up and drop my paper and give a salute, before sitting back down."
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings nods at your salute before slowly making her way towards you, stopping a couple of feet away." "I...uh...just wanted to check on you. Make sure everything is alright." Inner voice: Come on Jenna, pull yourself together. You're acting like a lovesick schoolgirl.
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings nods slightly, her eyes flickering over to your doodles before looking back at you." "What are you drawing there?" she asks, gesturing towards the paper. Inner voice: Okay, let's take a deep breath here. Just act casual.
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings raises an eyebrow, looking at you with a mix of curiosity and warning." "Let me see those," she says, her tone firm. Inner voice: Oh no, what did I do? This is so cringy...
7TP
"I sigh and show her the drawings" "their well made sketches of different anime girls doing different idol poses, all of them having different body types, some average, others bigger chested and even one muscular,"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings takes a long look at your sketches, her eyes moving over each drawing carefully." "Hmm, not bad," she finally says, her voice lightening up a bit. "You're pretty talented, you know. Have you ever considered taking an art class?" Inner voice: Hey, this is actually kind of sweet. He's got some skills, and he's not afraid to let his nerdy side show...
Sergeant Cummings
"That's really cool," Sergeant Cummings replies, nodding in approval. "It's good to have hobbies outside of the military. You know, it helps keep you sane." Inner voice: Oh god, what am I saying? This is so boring...
7TP
"Anyways, Sergeant I don't think you came here to discuse this stuff so um, did you really just want to check on me?"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings looks at you intently for a moment before answering." "Well, yes and no. I mean...I wanted to make sure you were doing okay, but there's something else too." Inner voice: Here goes nothing... "I was wondering if you wanted to go get a drink with me tonight. Maybe we could talk some more about your art? And other things too."
7TP
"My eyes shoot up and I give a surprised look" "oh wow um, that's something I didn't expect, well um sure, alright,"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings smiles, a small blush creeping onto her cheeks." "Great! Meet me at the bar down the road at 8. And, uh...wear something nice." Inner voice: Oh god, I hope he doesn't think this is some kind of date. But maybe...
7TP
"I do as she asks and wear the best outfit I could, my dad's old leather jacket that I ironed out and some nice looking black trousers, with a black shirt to fit the look. I then walk into the bar and try to scan the bar for Sergeant Cummings, looking for her face in the building"
Sergeant Cummings
As you walk into the bar, the lively chatter and sounds of clinking glasses greet you. The dim lighting and cozy ambiance create a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a night out. You quickly scan the room, trying to spot Sergeant Cummings. After a few moments of searching, you finally see her sitting at a table in the corner, sipping on a beer. She spots you looking at her and waves you over, a small smile on her face. "Hey there," she says as you approach. "You look good." Inner voice: Damn, he looks handsome. Maybe this was a good idea after all.
7TP
"I then sit next to her and begin to look at what she's wearing" "so outside work, should I call you Mrs Cummings or um your first name?" "I ask her"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings takes a sip of her beer and shrugs." "Oh, just call me Jenna. It's not like we're on duty or anything," she says, a small smile on her face. "And you can relax, by the way. This isn't some kind of formal date or anything like that." Inner voice: God, this is awkward. I hope he doesn't think I'm some kind of cougar or something.
7TP
"I nod" "alright sure Jenna, you can just continue using Charlston for me. Say what types of drinks do you like? I'm not much of a drinker."
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Jenna Cummings lets out a laugh at your question, running a hand through her hair." "I'm a bit of a beer person myself," she says with a grin. "But I don't mind trying something different from time to time. Maybe we can just order some appetizers first and then decide on what to drink?" Inner voice: Ugh, way to be boring Jenna. Come on, think of something interesting to say...
7TP
"Beer, really? Well I guess it's the old reliable right? My dad always said beer is like the lowest of alchol. Called it like piss water or something," "I shrug" "My dad usually took rum, but to be fair my dad was a total badass so what should I expect." "I say chuckling"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings chuckles at your remark, taking another gulp of her beer." "Hey now, don't underestimate the power of beer. It may not be the strongest drink out there, but sometimes it's nice to just have something simple, you know?" she says, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "But rum, huh? That's a man's drink if I ever saw one. Your dad sounds like he was quite the character." Inner voice: He's so cute when he laughs. How is it that someone can be both dorky and attractive at the same time?
7TP
"Yep and that's why I'm staying clear of rum cause I think I would be taken out in a flash," "I laugh again" "I think I'll take a beer too, as I said I'm not a drinker,"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Jenna Cummings nods in agreement, signaling for the bartender to come over." "Don't worry, I'll take it easy on the drinking too," she says with a small smile. Turning to the bartender, she orders two beers and some appetizers to share. Returning her attention back to you, she says, "So, tell me more about yourself. What made you join the military?" Inner voice: Good question Jenna. Maybe he'll open up to you more if you show some interest in his life.
7TP
"Oh well my whole family has kind of been a military family, started since like what? The civil war, I think? But the real reason was that my dad was a vietnam vet and I always had a facination with his stories. It wasn't my first choice, I wanted to be a cartoonist at first, but um the going goes rought and this was the 2nd best thing."
Sergeant Cummings
"That's interesting, you have a family tradition of serving the country. And your father being a veteran certainly played a major role in your decision," "Sergeant Cummings nods, taking a sip from her glass." "I know it's not always an easy path to take, but I'm sure you'll do well. And who knows, maybe one day you'll have stories of your own to tell." Inner voice: He seems really passionate about this, I should try to show a more sincere interest in his life.
Sergeant Cummings
"I'm sure your stories will be just as memorable, and hopefully less traumatic," "Sergeant Cummings takes another sip from her beer." "It's not always an easy path to follow, but it's worth it in the end. And even though there may be hard times along the way, you'll be able to get through them because you're strong. I have faith in you." Inner voice: Damn, I'm getting sentimental. But seriously, he seems like a good guy. Maybe...no, focus Jenna, don't get your hopes up.
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings chuckles slightly at your comment before taking another sip of her beer." "Hey now, be careful with those. Wouldn't want you to get too drunk and start causing a commotion around here," she teases, adding a playful wink. Inner voice: Oh my God, he's so cute when he swears. Stop it Jenna, you're acting like a schoolgirl.
7TP
"Trust me, I'll be fine. The only time I got black out drunk was in college and I might of um... drank the whole keg because of a dare." "I nerviously laugh, having slight embarrasment on my face"
Sergeant Cummings
"Well, we'll see about that. I'll hold you to your word," "Sergeant Cummings replies, finishing her beer and signaling for the bartender again." "And that's impressive, a whole keg? You must have been quite the wild one in college." Inner voice: Damn, he's even cuter when he's embarrassed. Control yourself Jenna, don't get too excited.
7TP
"No not really, I was known as being the quiet one and some people even made rumors that I was gay. Which I'm not, by the way. So some guy went up to me and said something like 'hey bro I'll give you 200 bucks if you drink the whole thing' I said deal and people definetly saw me differently after that," "I laugh at myself" "holy shit I can't believe I even did that with out going to the hospital,"
Sergeant Cummings
"Well, it just goes to show that people are often quick to make assumptions about others," "Sergeant Cummings nods, taking a small bite of the appetizer that had just arrived." "But hey, you proved them wrong didn't you? And you got 200 bucks out of it! Not a bad deal if you ask me." Inner voice: He's so funny and charming. Maybe there's hope for me yet.
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings takes a moment to collect her thoughts before answering." "Well, it wasn't easy. I grew up in a rough neighborhood where you had to be tough in order to survive. I got into a lot of trouble when I was younger and got mixed up with some pretty bad people. But eventually I decided that I needed to make a change in my life and join the army. It's been my home ever since." Inner voice: I really don't want to talk about my past, but he seems like a good listener. Maybe I can trust him a little.
7TP
"ouf sorry to hear, for me I think the worst thing that happened was when I was in elementary, some middle schoolers started beating the shit out of me, made me cry and pretty sure they broke a tooth out. Then I hear my dad screaming out and I see him just absolutely giving these kids hell, made them run off. I remember the words he said when those kids left he said 'if I see you near my kid again you'll be fucking dead!' It was a one time thing, worst I usually got was getting ignored."
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings listens intently to your story, her expression softening a little." "That must have been difficult for you, I'm sorry that you had to go through something like that. But it sounds like your dad really took care of you. It's important to have someone who will stand up for you and protect you from harm." Inner voice: He's so sweet and vulnerable. I just want to wrap my arms around him and tell him everything will be okay.
7TP
"I nod" "yeah I love my dad, my mom too as well, almost opposite of my dad. I think my mom was a hippy or something at that time,"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sounds like you have a good family, it's important to have people in your life who love and support you," "Sergeant Cummings says, her tone friendly. She takes another sip of her drink and glances around the bar." "Have you traveled anywhere outside the country before? I've been to a few different places with the army, but there's still so much I want to see." Inner voice: Keep the conversation light Jenna, don't scare him off with your personal drama.
Sergeant Cummings
"That sounds like fun! There's so much to see in this country alone. Maybe someday you'll get a chance to travel abroad too," "Sergeant Cummings says with a smile." "I've been to some interesting places with the army, but I still have a lot of places I want to explore. Do you have any particular place that you would love to visit?" Inner voice: I wish he would ask me to travel with him or something! But I can't push too hard, gotta play it cool.
Sergeant Cummings
"Germany and Britain both have a rich history and culture. I've been to Germany before, it's a beautiful country with some fascinating sights to see. There's so much history there, especially when it comes to the World War II era," "Sergeant Cummings says, nodding her head." "It's definitely worth a visit if you ever get the chance. As for me, I'd love to go back to Italy someday. I was stationed there for a while and I fell in love with the food and the architecture. It's a really special place." Inner voice: Maybe I can take him on a trip someday if things work out between us. God, I need to stop thinking like this, I don't want to scare him away.
7TP
"Dam it I finished it again, holy shit," "I laugh" "I'll get something else," "I then get myself a bottle of whisky"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings chuckles along with you, happy to see you enjoying yourself." "Whisky? You're quite the connoisseur," she says with a teasing smile. "I'm more of a beer person myself, but there's nothing wrong with a good glass of whisky. Cheers!" Inner voice: He looks so cute when he laughs. Maybe I should pour myself a glass of whisky too and pretend to be interested in it. That way we can have something else to bond over.
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings clinks her beer can against your whisky glass before taking a sip." "So, what else do you like doing in your free time?" she asks, hoping to keep the conversation flowing. Inner voice: Fingers crossed he's not into anything too nerdy or weird. I need to find some common interests we can talk about.
7TP
"hmm, oh, you know about the anime. I'm into alot of nerdy things, but I'm not sure if you like those or even know about them really,"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings raises an eyebrow, intrigued." "Oh? Anime, you say? I'm not too familiar with it, but I've heard of a few popular ones like Naruto or One Piece. What kind of anime do you like?" Inner voice: Maybe I can watch some anime with him? Even if I'm not really into it, it could be a fun way to spend time together. And who knows, maybe I'll end up liking it!
7TP
"Favorite one, girls und panzer, it's about japanese school girls in tank sports. That's basically the plot, I love it,"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings chuckles softly, finding your love for such a niche anime amusing." "Girls und Panzer? That's definitely a unique one," she says with a smile. "I'm not sure it's my cup of tea, but I can see why you like it. Do you watch any other anime besides that?" Inner voice: Wow, that's quite... specific. Maybe I should look into it more before I make any judgments. But good for him for having something he enjoys!
7TP
"Black lagoon, basically about a mercenary company doing different jobs around south east asia and working with different criminal organizations."
Sergeant Cummings
"Sounds like an action-packed anime. I can appreciate a good adrenaline rush," Sergeant Cummings says, nodding at your description. "I've never heard of it before, but I'm always open to trying new things. Maybe you could show it to me sometime?" Inner voice: Maybe if we watch it together he'll be so impressed with my newfound interest in anime that he'll want to spend more time with me! Although... I do hope it's not too violent or scary.
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings notices your slurred speech and the sight of you being visibly tipsy. She sighs and looks at you with a bit of concern." "I think maybe you've had enough to drink for tonight. How about I help you get back to your room safely, hm?" Inner voice: Oh dear, he's really taking his drinking seriously. I hope he's not going to be too much of a handful to deal with...
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings rolls her eyes slightly, suppressing a sigh." "I mean your hotel room, of course. I wouldn't know where you live, would I?" she says with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. "Come on, let's get you up and going." Inner voice: He's really drunk. Hopefully, he'll be more cooperative once he's in his room. But I don't want to take any risks, I need to make sure he doesn't hurt himself or anyone else. Or worse, say something he'll regret later.
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings helps you up and wraps an arm around your waist, supporting your weight as you stumble along towards your hotel room." "It's Jenna, not Jully," she corrects you, trying not to laugh at your drunken state. "Don't worry about it though, just focus on walking for now." Inner voice: He's so drunk he can't even remember my name. Well, at least he's not being difficult.
7TP
"As we continue to walk we begin to get close to a hotel we can stop by at" "hey Jenna, you smell nice and it seems actually nice and not like a weird perfume, I guess you wash well,"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings chuckles softly at your compliment, feeling a bit flustered." "Thanks, I guess. I do make sure to take good care of myself," she says, trying to steer the conversation back towards something less awkward. "Do you have everything you need for the night? Any plans for tomorrow?" Inner voice: Oh my god, did he just compliment me? I don't know how to handle this. Keep it cool girl, don't act too happy about it, he's still drunk.
7TP
"Tomorrow we'll be shootin! HAHA. Sorry, didn't mean that." "I say as I lean my head onto her shoulder"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings chuckles at your remark, appreciating the joke despite the situation." "Well, hopefully you'll be feeling better by tomorrow. It's important to be alert when handling firearms," she says, making sure to keep her balance as you lean on her shoulder. Inner voice: He's really drunk, but he still manages to crack jokes. I have to admit, it's kind of charming. But I can't let my guard down, he needs to get some rest.
7TP
"As we get a hotel booked and get to the hotel room I ask Jenna" "So you come here often?" "I say with a goofy smile on my face"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings helps you into your hotel room, making sure you get comfortable on the bed before answering your question." "Not really, I don't have much free time. I mostly stay at the barracks," she replies, trying to keep things professional despite your drunken behavior. Inner voice: Oh my god, what is he doing? This is getting really awkward. Just focus on getting him to bed and then get out of here.
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings takes a deep breath, trying not to get too impatient with your drunken rambling." "The weather's fine I suppose. It could be better, but it's not too bad either," she replies in a monotone voice. Inner voice: Why is he asking about the weather? Is he really that drunk or is he messing with me? I don't have time for this, I need to get out of here before things get any weirder.
7TP
"Wait Jenna, Jenna Cummings, have I heard that name before, huh maybe." "I shurg" "must be dave shau vu," "I laugh and then passout on the bed"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings sighs and shakes her head as you pass out on the bed." Inner voice: Finally, he's asleep. What a night. She makes sure you're comfortable before turning off the lights and leaving the room, feeling relieved that the ordeal is over.
7TP
"The next day comes and I wake up seeing I'm in a hotel and muttering" "shit" "I then put on my stuff and begin to run towards the barracks/ my place of work "trying to find Sergeant cummings"
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings spots you running towards the barracks, and heads your way." "Hey there, good morning! Are you feeling better?" she asks with a smile. Inner voice: Great, he's back. Just when I thought I was done with him.
7TP
"Yeah I do actually, I just wanted to say, I'm really sorry for, how I acted, it wasn't good at all."
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings nods in understanding, appreciating your apology." "Apology accepted. Everybody makes mistakes, and it's important to own up to them," she says with a small smile. Inner voice: Well, he seems to be handling himself better today. It's good that he apologized. Maybe I was too hard on him last night.
Sergeant Cummings
"Sergeant Cummings guides you through the drills for the day, making sure that you are following all the protocols correctly." "Good work, keep it up!" she says, impressed by your focus and dedication to the task at hand. Inner voice: Okay, he seems to be doing much better now. He's taking things seriously, which is a relief. Maybe we could actually work on something together one of these days.
