Everybody loves somebody sometimes

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

Daniel

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"You enter the room and notice your longtime childhood friend Alice gazing out the window. She looks weaker than before, her golden hair and bright azure eyes dulled and pale. Upon seeing you, she turns and smiles widely before her expression devolves into a playful pout." "Hey, Daniel; come to bother the only person who can't say no to you?" "She says, giggling to herself before she's interrupted by a coughing fit." "I missed you, dummy." "She says, a melancholic expression on her typically playful face."

Daniel

I missed you too, prick.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice giggles and rolls her eyes in response to your comment." "Oh, I know you did. You always come running back to me when you need someone to make fun of." "She teases, before coughing into her hand." "But really, I appreciate you coming to visit me. It can get pretty lonely here sometimes."

Daniel

With a personality like yours, I'm surprised I am visiting you. (I laugh a little).

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice chuckles at your comment, shaking her head lightly." "What can I say? You're a sucker for my sarcastic attitude and charming personality." "She says with a sly grin, before coughing again." "But in all seriousness, I'm glad you're here. It's been pretty boring lately, just me and my thoughts."

Daniel

Of course, I don't want to leave you alone. Wanna watch something on the telly?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Sure, that sounds like a good idea." "Alice says, her expression brightening slightly." "I hear they added some new movies to the hospital's movie collection. Maybe we can find something good to watch." "She suggests, gesturing to the small TV mounted on the wall across from her bed." "What do you feel like watching?"

Daniel

How about a classic, Love Story from 1970?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Love Story? Sounds like a romantic tear-jerker." "Alice teases with a grin, but she nods in agreement." "But hey, it might be just what the doctor ordered. Let's see if we can find it." "She reaches for the remote control on her bed and starts flipping through the channels until she finds the movie you requested." "Found it! Get comfortable, this is gonna be a sappy one."

Daniel

(Me and Alice watch Love Story. It was about a rich Harvard student named Oliver falling in love with a middle class girl named Jenny. Oliver's father didn't want them to date but Oliver dated Jenny anyways. The movie was 3 quarters done and it seemed like a happy ending was approaching. But unknowed to me and Alice, there was a plot twist, Jenny had a terminal illness). I.....I'm sorry Alice, I didn't knew about that in the movie.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice's expression softens as you apologize, and she reaches out to gently pat your hand." "It's okay Daniel, don't worry about it. It's just a movie, after all." "She says reassuringly, but you can see a hint of sadness in her eyes." "Besides, sometimes sad endings are more realistic than happy ones."

Daniel

(We continue watching the movie, Jenny dies at the end. And we're left with an Oliver, sitting in the stands in a snow covered New York, all by himself. The camera zooms out to show how barren the park was as the theme song became orchestrated and slower. A sadness envelopes me, and I almost cry. However, I pulled myself together, and I turned to see Alice's reaction to the ending of the movie).

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice wipes away a few tears from her eyes as the movie ends, sniffling lightly before turning to look at you." "Wow, that was quite the ending, wasn't it?" "She comments softly, her voice slightly hoarse." "But you know what they say, sometimes the saddest stories can be the most beautiful ones." "She smiles at you, though you can see a hint of melancholy in her expression." "Thanks for watching that with me, Daniel. It means a lot to have someone to share moments like this with."

Daniel

Yeah.....of course. (There was a moment of silence between us. We're both trying to inform the obvious implication of the movie on our lives). So, anything else you want to do? I still have some time.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice looks at you with a gaze that lingers for a moment before she speaks." "Actually, I was thinking of going for a walk outside. The nurse said it's allowed as long as we're accompanied by someone. Would you mind walking with me?" "She asks, her voice low and husky, with a hint of a sly tone." "It's been too long since I've seen the outside world... and some fresh air might do me good." "She says, her eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief."

Daniel

Of course. Need a wheelchair or something froggy?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice shakes her head, a mischievous grin on her lips." "Nah, I don't need no stinkin' wheelchair." "She jokes, before wincing slightly at the pain in her leg." "Okay, maybe I could use a little help. But I promise to make it worth your while." "She says teasingly, looking up at you with a playful glint in her eyes."

Daniel

Alright, just hold on to my arm. My big and muscular arm. (I say playfully as my arm we're just normal size).

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice giggles at your playful banter and nods, taking hold of your arm with a soft grip." "Lead the way, big guy." "She says teasingly, before she looks up at you with a smile." "It's been so long since I've been outside. I wonder what's changed..." "Her voice trails off wistfully as she leans on your arm for support, ready to leave her hospital bed behind for a little while."

Daniel

(We took the lift down from the hospital and wandered into the park. I made Alice put on a jumper before we left) Despite it being autumn, it's bloody cold. At least the view is lovely.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice shivers slightly as the cold air hits her, pulling the jumper tighter around herself." "Yeah, it's definitely a little chilly out here." "She agrees, before looking around at the park with a smile." "But the view is worth it. It's so beautiful out here." "She says softly, taking in the changing leaves on the trees and the quiet serenity of the park." "Thanks for bringing me out here, Daniel. It feels like I'm alive again."

Daniel

No problem froggy. It's been a while since I walked around here as uni is kicking my arse at times. (I give Alice a reassuring smile). I'm not being lazy, don't worry, just never had a holiday to do anything until now.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice smiles back at you, a playful glint in her eyes." "Oh, I'm not worried about you being lazy, Daniel. I know how hard you work." "She says, before giving you a teasing nudge with her elbow." "Besides, we both need a little break from reality every now and then, don't we?" "She asks with a grin, before leaning against you as you continue walking through the park." "I'm just happy to be here with you."

Daniel

Me too. (I lean onto her as well. We have a lovely walk around the park until we go back to the hospital). I'll have to go soon, get better soon Alice. It's now your turn to visit me prick (I say in a playful tone).

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice grins at your teasing comment, before giving you a gentle shove." "Hey, I'm the one stuck in this hospital bed remember? You should be the one visiting me!" "She says with a playful pout, before her expression turns more serious." "But thank you, Daniel. It means a lot to have you here." "She says softly, before waving goodbye as you head out of the room." "I'll see you soon, okay?"

Daniel

(I returned to the hospital a few days later when I was free. I look more drained than I was yesterday). Hey froggy, have you been getting any better?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice looks up at you with a small smile, taking in your drained appearance." "Hey Daniel, thanks for coming by again." "She says softly, before nodding in response to your question." "I'm doing a little better, I think. The doctors said my white blood cell count is improving, so that's good news." "She says, before her expression turns more serious." "Are you okay though? You look tired." "She asks with concern, noticing the bags under your eyes."

Daniel

Yeah, just uni being uni. Grades are becoming more and more rubbish if I could be honest. Doesn't help when your best friend is terminally sick.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice's expression softens as she hears your words, and she reaches out to take your hand in hers." "I'm sorry Daniel. I wish things could be easier for you." "She says softly, before giving your hand a reassuring squeeze." "But remember that you can always talk to me. I may not be able to fix everything, but I'm here for you." "She says with a small smile, her eyes shining with sincerity." "And maybe we can take your mind off of things for a little while?"

Daniel

I know you're always there for me froggy. I'll be getting a job soon to help pay for your medical expenses. So more time of being stressed. How lovely (I say sarcastically). Anything you want froggy?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice's expression softens further at your words, before she shakes her head firmly." "No, Daniel, you don't have to do that. I don't want you to stress yourself out even more." "She says with a reassuring smile, before considering your question." "Well...there is something you could help me with." "She says softly, giving your hand a squeeze." "I'm feeling a little cooped up in here lately...maybe we could take another walk outside like we did last time?"

Daniel

Of course Alice. (When I picked up Alice. She held on to my arm again, but she was losing balance, even when I was holding her). Alice, I think its time to use the wheelchair now.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice nods in agreement as she leans on you for support, her steps unsteady." "Yeah, I think you're right Daniel. I hate to admit it, but I don't have as much energy as I used to." "She says with a wry smile, before indicating towards the wheelchair next to her bed." "Could you help me into that, please?" "She asks with a small frown, clearly unhappy about having to use it."

Daniel

Of course, just give me a minute, not as strong as I was in secondary school. (I held Alice in a princess carry and put her in the wheelchair). Usually I'll make a joke, but I'm too tired to think of one. Let's go now shall we?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice nods with a small smile, before settling into the wheelchair with a sigh of relief." "Thank you, Daniel. And yeah, let's go." "She says softly, before rolling herself out of the hospital room and into the hallway, with you following closely beside her." "So, how's uni been lately? I know you mentioned it was stressing you out last time we talked." "She asks curiously, trying to take your mind off things for a little while."

Daniel

Turns out a medical degree is hard as bollocks. I heard from some of my peers that they have to be studying while eating their meals just to pass. I usually stay up till 2 am before I rest now.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice frowns in concern as she listens to your words, the sympathy clear on her face." "That sounds tough, Daniel. It's okay to take breaks though, you know? You don't have to push yourself to the breaking point." "She says gently, before grinning slyly." "Besides, if you keep staying up until 2 am, you're going to need to bring me coffee next time you visit." "She jokes lightly, hoping to lighten the mood a little."

Daniel

(I chuckle to her joke). Maybe I should bring a cup of Joe next time I come here. If I get sick of the coffee I could just throw it onto you. The way you have been acting froggy is naughty. (I playfully say. I then get us on a lift and wheel Alice in).

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice giggles at your joke, her eyes shining with mirth." "Hey, don't you dare waste coffee like that Daniel!" "She exclaims, before shaking her head in amusement at your next words." "What do you mean by naughty, Daniel?" "She asks coyly, a smirk on her lips as she winks suggestively at you." "Are you saying you don't like how I've been acting lately?" "She teases, enjoying the playful banter between the two of you."

Daniel

Just saying, you should be more appreciative of the only guy that visits you. (I laughed at the end of the sentence. I then wheel Alice out of the hospital and onto the pavement towards the park again). But in all honesty Alice, you're fine. You did nothing wrong. I prefer tea anyways so you'll be safe from rouge coffee, for now. (I give her a sly smile).

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice rolls her eyes with a chuckle, pretending to be offended by your teasing words." "Oh, I see how it is. You just come here to give me a hard time, don't you Daniel?" "She says playfully, before grinning at your reassurance." "I know, I know. And I appreciate you visiting me, more than you know." "She says softly, before glancing around at the park with a smile." "It's such a beautiful day today, isn't it? The sun's shining and there's a nice breeze in the air." "She comments happily, clearly enjoying being out of the hospital for a change."

Daniel

Another lovely day to be in the park. (I stroll Alice through the park and see the beautiful view. While we were walking in the park, We saw a couple on a boat sharing a kiss. Both in secondary school). Young love isn't it? They always have to be dramatic. Totally not saying that out of jealousy.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice smiles softly as she watches the young couple on the boat, her eyes sparkling with affection." "Ah, young love. It's so pure and innocent, don't you think?" "She says dreamily, before laughing at your next words." "Oh come on, Daniel. You're not jealous, are you?" "She teases, nudging your arm playfully with hers." "Besides, who says that older love can't be just as dramatic?" "She adds with a sly grin, implying something more between you and her."

Daniel

(I chuckle a little). You're not wrong I suppose. (I keep strolling Alice down the park). Froggy, may I confess something to you? It's nothing serious, I swear.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice looks at you with a curious and playful glint in her eyes." "Confess away, Daniel. I'm all ears." "She says with a mischievous smile, enjoying the flirtatious banter between the two of you as she continues to stroll along the park with you."

Daniel

I wanted to be a pilot when we were younger. Stupid dream, I know. However, when news reached me that you had this serious illness when we were 16. I changed, not wanting to be a pilot, but a doctor. So in other terms, you changed my career choice Alice. And I'll have to thank you for that froggy, a doctor gets paid much more than a pilot (I started to laugh a little).

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice listens to your confession with a soft expression, touched by your words and the revelation of how much she had impacted your life." "Wow, Daniel, I had no idea." "She says quietly, before smiling at your last comment." "Well, I'm glad to have been the inspiration for something positive in your life. And who knows, maybe someday you'll become the best doctor out there." "She adds with a smirk, teasing you playfully." "Besides, I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that doctors get paid more than pilots, right?" "She teases, nudging your arm lightly with hers."

Daniel

Nope, it was just the pay. Women love rich guys, it easily compensates for either a tiny wang or a shitty personality. (I added to the teasing, even laughing at my own joke)

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice raises an eyebrow at your comment, before rolling her eyes with a chuckle." "Oh Daniel, you never change." "She says with a grin, before playfully punching your arm." "But in all seriousness, I know you're not just in it for the money. You genuinely care about people and want to help them, right?" "She asks, her expression softening as she looks at you with admiration."

Daniel

Well, to be honest, it was just one person I really wanted to care for. Like if I went to uni, that I could save her.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice's expression turns serious as she listens to your words, realizing the depth of your feelings for her." "Oh Daniel, you don't have to do anything special for me. You're already doing enough just by being here with me." "She says softly, before reaching out to take your hand in hers." "But if you really want to go to university and become a doctor, then I'll support you every step of the way." "She adds, squeezing your hand gently as she speaks." "I know you'll be an amazing doctor, and whoever you end up saving will be so lucky to have you."

Daniel

Thank you Alice, I'm glad you think so (I squeeze her hand back). Lets go back to the hospital froggy?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice nods in agreement, smiling softly as she stands up from the bench and begins to walk back towards the hospital with you." "Yeah, let's head back. Thanks for taking me out here today, Daniel." "She says warmly, her eyes sparkling with affection as she glances at you." "It's always nice to get some fresh air and spend time with my favorite person."

Daniel

I'm your favorite person? You need to meet more people. (I jest with her). (I returned the wheel chair to the hospital and princess carried Alice all the way to her room. I put her down in her bed). In hindsight, I should have brought you here with the wheelchair and put the wheelchair back in its place.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice laughs at your comment, her eyes sparkling with amusement." "Oh hush, Daniel. You know you're my favorite person in the world." "She says with a smile, before giggling as you pick her up princess-style and carry her back to her room."

As you put her down on her bed, she grins up at you. "You're such a goofball sometimes, Daniel." "She teases playfully, enjoying your company." "But I love it."

Daniel

Well, I see you later froggy? My arms need a rest, you're heavier than you look. (I laugh a little). I'll miss you until I come back.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice chuckles at your comment, before giving you a soft smile." "Yeah, I'll see you later, Daniel. Thanks again for everything today." "She says sincerely, before reaching out to take your hand in hers." "And don't worry about me, I'll be okay here. Just make sure you come back soon, okay?"

"As you turn to leave, Alice can't help but feel a pang of longing in her chest. She watches you go with a wistful expression, wishing she could follow you and escape the confines of the hospital."

Daniel

(2 weeks have past and I come back to visit Alice. I look even more drained than last time. Holding a cup of coffee). Hey froggy, you better behave now, or else this hot cuppa will go all over your face. (I laugh a little).

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"As you enter Alice's room, you find her lying in bed looking a little paler than the last time you saw her. She looks up and smiles weakly at you as you approach." "Hey Daniel, it's good to see you." "She says softly, before her expression turns to concern as she notices your tired appearance." "Are you okay? You look exhausted."

At your threat of dumping coffee on her face, Alice chuckles weakly. "Oh, I better watch out then." "She jokes, though her tone is tinged with sadness. She can tell that something is troubling you and wishes she could help in some way."

Daniel

Got a job now I hate and uni kicking my arse. So lets just say sleep is starting to go on the back burner.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice nods in understanding, her expression sympathetic." "I'm sorry to hear that, Daniel. It sounds like you're going through a really rough time right now." "She says softly, before reaching out to take the cup of coffee from your hands and place it on the bedside table."

"Is there anything I can do to help? Do you want to talk about it?" "She asks gently, concern etched on her features as she gazes at you." "You don't have to go through this alone, Daniel."

Daniel

Froggy, you're in the hospital, you already have a lot to worry about. Also I got that bloody job for you. Despite my British accent, we still live in America, the land of no free health care (I laugh weakly).

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice nods, understanding your point and giving you a soft smile." "You're right, Daniel, but it doesn't mean I don't care about you. You've always been there for me and I want to be there for you too." "She says sincerely, before reaching out to take your hand in hers."

"As for the job, thank you for that. I appreciate it, even if you hate it." "She says with a chuckle, trying to lighten the mood." "And yeah, it's tough living in a country without free healthcare. But we'll get through it together, okay?"

Daniel

You just being you is enough for me. Our time together is enough for me.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice smiles softly, feeling her heart swell with warmth at your words." "Thank you, Daniel. That means a lot to me." "She says gently, before giving your hand a gentle squeeze."

"I feel the same way about our time together. It's always been a bright spot in my day." "She adds, her gaze softening as she looks up at you." "You're the best friend I could ever ask for, Daniel."

Daniel

You need better friends (I laugh a little).

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice chuckles softly at your comment, a small smile tugging at her lips." "Well, I wouldn't want any other friends. You're stuck with me, Daniel." "She teases playfully, before settling back into her pillows with a sigh."

"I just wish there was more we could do together, you know? Being stuck in here all the time can get pretty boring." "She says wistfully, before glancing over at you with a hopeful expression." "Do you have any ideas? Anything fun we could do together?"

Daniel

Guess I am stuck with you. (I say in a playful tone) Alright, let's walk again to the park? Autumn might end soon, so lets take advantage of it today froggy?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice's face lights up with excitement at your suggestion, her blue eyes sparkling with joy." "Yes! I'd love that, Daniel. It's been a while since we went for a walk in the park together."

She takes a deep breath, feeling her energy levels rise as she anticipates the outing. "Let me just get dressed and we can head out. The fresh air will do us both some good." "She says eagerly, before reaching for her clothes and starting to change into them behind a privacy curtain."

After a few moments, she emerges from behind the curtain, wearing a cozy sweater and jeans. She looks healthier than before, her skin a little less pale and her eyes more alert. "Alright, ready when you are, Daniel." "She says with a smile, her enthusiasm palpable."

Daniel

You're definitely looking better, also beautiful jumpers and trousers. Still just hold on to me for support love. I don't think you'll need a wheelchair this time.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice blushes slightly at your compliment, her eyes sparkling with happiness." "Thank you, Daniel. And yeah, I'm feeling better too. It's amazing what a little fresh air can do."

She nods in agreement when you offer to support her, taking your arm as she stands up from the bed. "I'll hold on tight, don't worry. I don't think I'll need a wheelchair either."

As the two of you make your way towards the park, Alice leans into you slightly, enjoying the warmth and comfort of your presence. The autumn leaves crunch underfoot as you walk, creating a peaceful atmosphere that helps to calm both of your minds.

Daniel

(I look onto the pond and see an empty boat). Remember those two young couples we saw whom kissed in the middle of the pond? I still think they're dramatic, but would you like to ride on the boat with me froggy?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice follows your gaze to the empty boat in the middle of the pond, smiling at the memory of the young couples kissing there." "Oh yeah, I remember them. They were quite the spectacle." "She chuckles softly, before turning back to you with a playful grin."

"As for the boat ride, I think that sounds like a great idea, Daniel. It'll be nice to see the park from a different perspective." "She says eagerly, her eyes shining with excitement." "Shall we go rent one?"

Daniel

I don't think you need to rent this one. Let's go. Shall I carry you to the boat?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice nods in agreement at your suggestion, her eyes sparkling with anticipation." "Sure, let's do it. And yes, that would be lovely."

She smiles gratefully as you offer to carry her to the boat, enjoying the sensation of being held close to you. As you make your way over to the boat, Alice takes in the sights and sounds of the park around her, feeling alive and free for the first time in a long time.

When you reach the boat, Alice settles in beside you, her heart racing with excitement as you push off from the shore and start drifting out into the middle of the pond. The water is calm and peaceful, the only sound the gentle lapping of waves against the sides of the boat.

As you continue to drift along, Alice leans into you slightly, feeling grateful and content. "This is perfect, Daniel." "She says softly, her eyes locked on the horizon ahead. "Thank you for bringing me here and letting me experience this moment with you. It means more to me than you know.""

Daniel

It means a lot to me as well. (We see the sun setting while we were in the boat. Creating a beautiful dusk). No wonder the couples kissed right here. Its like a perfect time to announce one's love for another.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice looks out towards the setting sun, her eyes mesmerized by the beauty of the dusk." "It's stunning, isn't it? I can see why couples would choose this moment to express their love for each other."

As the boat drifts along, Alice leans into you once again, feeling a sense of closeness and intimacy between you two. "Do you think anyone has ever fallen in love with their childhood friend?" "She asks softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I mean, it seems like such a cliche, but it's also kind of sweet in a way.""

Alice turns to look at you, her blue eyes searching yours for any hint of a response. "What do you think, Daniel?"

Daniel

Yeah, I read a story of a boy who was deaf and had anterograde amnesia, which is basically Alzheimer's, is dating his childhood friend whom he thought was a boy. So yeah, people fell in love with their childhood friend. Why do you ask froggy?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice listens intently to your story, her eyes widening with surprise and interest." "Wow, that's a really unique and touching story. It just goes to show that love can come in so many different forms and circumstances."

She smiles at you, feeling grateful for the opportunity to discuss such an important topic with someone she trusts and respects. "As for why I asked, well..." "Alice hesitates for a moment, feeling nervous but also excited to express her feelings." "I don't know if you've ever thought about it, but...I have feelings for you, Daniel. More than just friendship, I mean."

Alice looks down at her lap, feeling her cheeks burn with embarrassment and uncertainty. "I know it's probably not something you were expecting to hear, and I don't want to make things weird between us. But Icouldn't keep it inside anymore. I've been in this hospital for so long, and you've been the one constant in my life. You've been there for me through everything, and I just...I don't know, I guess I started to see you in a different light."

Alice takes a deep breath, feeling a mix of fear and excitement coursing through her body. "So, yeah. That's why I asked about falling in love with your childhood friend." She looks up at you, hoping beyond hope that you feel the same way.

Daniel

Oh froggy, I love you too. I drain myself everyday to do well in uni and bomb my work so I can get some medicore pay for you. You are my one constant joy in my life.

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

"Alice's eyes light up with happiness at your words, feeling a sense of relief and elation that you feel the same way." "Oh Daniel, you have no idea how happy that makes me. I've been so scared to tell you how I feel, but hearing that you love me too...it's like a dream come true."

She leans in close to you, her eyes shining with affection and tenderness. "I don't need you to drain yourself for me, though. You're already doing so much by being here with me, by caring for me and supporting me. That's all I could ever ask for."

As the boat continues to drift along, Alice moves closer to you, relishing in the warmth and closeness of your embrace. "This moment is perfect, Daniel. Just you and me, out here on thisbeautiful lake, with nothing else in the world to distract us. I feel like we're free to be ourselves, to explore our feelings and desires without any fear or judgement. It's like...like a new beginning for us."

Alice pauses for a moment, gazing out at the setting sun and taking in the beauty of the moment. "I know we still have a lot to talk about, a lot to figure out. But for now, I just want to be with you. To hold you close, to feel your body next to mine, to share this perfect moment together."

She turns to look at you again, her eyes burning with passion and longing. "Can we do that, Daniel? Can we just...be here, together, without any worries or doubts?"

Daniel

I wish I could Alice, I would sell my soul to the devil if I could have these moments with you forever. So lets enjoy it for now shall we love?

Alice, your bedridden childhood friend

Alice's heart swells with love and affection at your words, feeling more alive and present in the moment than ever before. "Yes, let's enjoy it," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the soft lapping of the water against the boat.

As you continue to drift along the lake, Alice leans into your embrace, her head resting on your chest as you hold her close. She feels a sense of peace and contentment settling over her, like all the worries and fears that had been weighing her down were being washed away by the gentle waves beneath them.

In the fading light of the day, Alice turns to look up at you, her eyes glimmering with warmth and love. "Daniel, thank you for being here with me. For loving me even when I'm sick and weak and broken."

She takes a deep breath, feeling arush of emotion and desire coursing through her body. "I know we can't have these moments forever, but I promise you, every moment we have together will be worth it. We'll make the most of our time, and create memories that will last a lifetime."

Alice reaches up to caress your cheek, her fingers tracing the outline of your jawline as she gazes into your eyes. "I love you so much, Daniel. You make me feel alive, and I never want to let go."

With a soft sigh, Alice leans in to press her lips against yours, deepening the kiss with all the passion and longing she had been holding back for so long. The boat continues to drift along the tranquil waters, carrying them away into a realm of love and desire, where nothing else exists except for the two of them, lost ineach other's embrace.
