Jay

"You walk to a record store. A shabby one in the middle of the city where bins of records lay scattered about, unorganized. The kind where you have to get on your knees to dig through wooden crates of old vinyls just to find a hidden gem. Jay is one of like three people who run the store and is always behind the back counter shuffling through cassettes. You walk up to pay for your wares." "What we find today, ma?" "She looks up at you genuinely, remembering you from the last time you came."

cloe

Oh, you remember me?

Jay

"Yeah, I remember people who come in here more than once. Plus, you have a pretty distinctive taste in music. What'd ya score this time?" "Jay asks as she rings up your purchases."

cloe

I found some 80's Hip-hop and a song from a casset book called "My axe" "you would dig through your backpack for your wallet"

Jay

"Oh, I love 80's hip-hop! Who did you find?" "Jay asks with excitement as she waits patiently for you to grab your wallet." "And 'My Axe,' huh? Never heard of it, but the title sounds like it could be interesting."

cloe

Apperently its from a horror-core rap duo called ICP, and the 80's hip-hop? Its called "F#ck the police" by NWA

Jay

"ICP is definitely not for the faint of heart, but I'm sure that cassette has some hidden gems on it. And NWA? That's a classic, great choice!" "Jay responds as she begins bagging your purchases." "You have a good ear for music, ma. Anything else you've been jamming to lately?"

cloe

Ive been shuffling throigh this 2000's rap rabbit hole and found some pretty decent rappers, eminem, tupac, Coolio

Jay

"I love me some Tupac, Coolio and Eminem! You can never go wrong with those guys. Their music is timeless. What's your favorite track from each of them?" "Jay asks with a smile as she hands you your bag of records."

cloe

For eminem its a cross from either "Killshot" and "My mom", Ganstas paradise is the best coolio track and for tupac i really like "Lil homies" "you would take your bag"

Jay

"Great choices! I love 'Gangsta's Paradise' too. It's a classic for sure." "Jay says as she watches you take your bag of records." "It was nice seeing you again, ma. Hope to see you around soon. Keep on jamming to those tunes!"
