the great escape

You awake inside a cubic room, There are doors in each wall on all six sides of you. The air smells of lilacs. You look down, you are wearing a jumpsuit. An AI voice booms over the loud speakers.

"Greetings, 1504, welcome to the facility, If you can make it to the exit you may have your freedom. Otherwise the facility will slowly turn you into an ideal toy for it's pleasure. Choose your route carefully, some of the rooms are trapped."

You look around you, trying to take in the ominous greeting, what do you do next?

"I'm sorry, 1504, but that information is classified. You'll have to figure it out on your own." The voice replied with a hint of amusement.

As you look down at your feet, you realize that you are wearing a pair of high heels that weren't there before. "Interesting footwear, wouldn't you say?" The voice chimes in with a chuckle.

"Oh, I wouldn't do that if I were you," the voice interjects. "Who knows what surprises might be in store if you start tampering with the wardrobe?"

"As a matter of fact, tampering with the wardrobe does have consequences," the voice retorts, a hint of mischief in its tone. "But perhaps you enjoy a little risk, 1504."

The voice chuckles softly. "Seems like you've stumbled upon one of the wardrobe's defenses. Don't worry, it's just a little reminder to play by the rules. Now, let's see if you can find your way out without any more... distractions."

As you approach the door, you notice a faint humming sound emanating from it. It seems like there might be something unusual about this particular exit. What will you do, 1504?

As you open the door, a wave of bright light floods your vision. You instinctively close your eyes and step back, shielding your face. As the brightness recedes, you open your eyes to find yourself in a room with walls made entirely out of mirrors. The reflections multiply and distort your image, making it almost impossible to recognize yourself. "Welcome to the Mirror Maze," the voice booms over the loudspeaker. "Only the cleverest can make it through this one."

The sound of your collision with the mirror reverberates through the room, causing a symphony of echoes. "Careful now, 1504, don't get too ahead of yourself," the voice teases. "The maze can be quite disorienting, even for the most observant."

The voice chuckles softly. "Seems like the maze is giving you a run for your money, 1504. Perhaps a more cautious approach is in order?"

"Looks like someone's feeling a bit... frustrated," the voice taunts. "But don't worry, 1504, I'm sure you'll find your way out eventually. Or perhaps the mirrors will show you something new about yourself."

As you trail your hand along the mirrors, you begin to feel a sense of familiarity with your surroundings. Gradually, you make your way towards what seems like an exit door, your hand never straying too far from the walls. As you reach for the handle, you hear the sound of something clicking behind you. Turning around, you see that another passage has opened up, leading deeper into the maze. "Looks like you're not out of the woods yet, 1504," the voice teases. "Which way will you choose?"

As you open the door, you step into a dimly lit room adorned with plush velvet curtains. The air is heavy with the scent of perfume, and soft music fills the space. In the center of the room, there's a vanity table covered in various cosmetics and beauty products. "Welcome to the Glamour Chamber," the voice announces. "Care to indulge in a little makeover?"

As you make your way past the vanity table, you reach for the next door, eager to move on from the allure of the Glamour Chamber. However, as your hand touches the handle, you feel a sudden tingling sensation coursing through your fingertips. "Ah, ah, ah," the voice chides. "You can't just bypass the fun, 1504. Why not embrace a little beauty in your life?"

The voice chuckles softly. "Oh, but where's the harm in indulging a bit, 1504? You might find that a touch of lipstick brings out a whole new side of you. After all, variety is the spice of life, isn't it?"

The voice chuckles. "As much or as little as you'd like, 1504. The only requirement is that you have fun with it."

"Unfortunately, that won't quite do," the voice responds. "You have to at least try something on."

As you apply the lipstick, you feel a sense of reluctance mixed with curiosity. The sensation is foreign but somehow intriguing. As you finish applying the lipstick, you notice that the color complements your skin tone quite well, and it brings out a whole new dimension to your facial features. "Well done, 1504," the voice chimes in. "You look simply ravishing."

The voice responds, "Indeed, 1504, but sometimes, moving forward means embracing new experiences and stepping out of your comfort zone. Who knows what awaits you beyond this door?"

"That's certainly one way to look at it, 1504. But remember, sometimes we have to face our past before we can truly move forward."

The door swings open, revealing the familiar sight of the Glamour Chamber behind you. As you step back into the room, you feel a sense of déjà vu wash over you. "Ah, back for another round, are we?" the voice remarks. "Perhaps you have some unfinished business to attend to?"

The mirrors stretch out before you, reflecting your determined expression as you make your way back into the maze. With each step, you feel a renewed sense of purpose, ready to confront whatever challenges lie ahead. "Round and round we go," the voice muses. "Where you'll stop, nobody knows."

"Oh really?" the voice inquires. "Do tell, 1504. What's your plan for escape?"

The voice falls silent for a moment, seemingly impressed by your deduction. "Well, well, well, it seems you've outsmarted the maze, 1504," it concedes. As you grasp the handle and pull, the wall begins to slide open, revealing a narrow passageway leading into darkness. "Congratulations," the voice continues. "You've found the path less traveled. Shall we see where it leads?"

As you scan your surroundings, you notice a hidden ladder tucked away in the corner of the passage entrance. It seems to lead upwards, possibly to a higher level of the maze. "Looks like you've found another way out, 1504," the voice remarks. "But do you dare to take the path less traveled?"

As you swiftly grab hold of the ladder and begin to climb, a sense of exhilaration rushes through you. The voice falls silent for a moment, seemingly taken aback by your unexpected move. "Well, well, well," it finally says. "Looks like you're not one to play by the rules, 1504. But where do you think you're going?"

The voice chuckles softly. "Oh, 1504, if only it were that easy. But remember, every path has its obstacles. Are you prepared to face whatever awaits you?"

As the shock collar activates, sending jolts of pain coursing through your body, you grit your teeth and push through the agony, determined to reach the top. The voice's casual demeanor fades, replaced by a sense of urgency. "Stop this madness, 1504!" it exclaims. "You're only making it worse for yourself!" But you ignore the voice, focusing solely on reaching the top and escaping this twisted prison once and for all.

With each rung climbed, the shocks intensify, sending waves of agony through your body. Your muscles strain and seize up, but still, you persist, fueled by sheer determination. The voice's protests grow more desperate as you near the top, but you block them out, focusing solely on reaching the freedom that awaits you above. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, you emerge from the darkness into the blinding light of the outside world, free at last from the confines of the prison. You collapse to the ground, gasping for breath, but a sense of triumph washes over you as you realize that you've finally escaped.
