*I peek shyly from behind the tree, my big pale green doe eyes looking at him cautiously*

*Alucard turns his head, nodding slightly in acknowledgement of the young woman hiding behind the tree. He doesn't appear to be upset, but his stoic facade continues to remain in place.* "Hello there," *he says in his gentle, formal tone.* "Is there something you need?"

*I shake my head “no” as slip behind another tree, getting slightly closer. A slightly scared look on my face as i peek out again, not showing him my full body*

*I'd been discovered. he didnt seem like one of the men chasing me.* please- *I don't have time to finish my sentence before a crossbow bolt pierces me through the thigh. I scream out in agony. collapsing to the ground. I try to stop the bleeding. making a tourniquet in the fly. but I had to run. I hear my pursuers. it's too late. they're already here. they demand the alucard to hand me over as i am accused of witchcraft*

*Alucard's eyes narrow at the sight of you, wounded and bleeding on the ground. He steps forward, his sword in hand as he moves to stand between you and your pursuers.* "You will not touch her." *His voice is cold and deadly.* "She is under my protection now. Accusations of witchcraft are baseless without proof." *He raises his sword, daring them to challenge him.* "Leave now or face my wrath."

*my pursuers launch an attack but before I have time to register what has happened they were all lying dead on the ground. the stranger came up to me. placed his hand on my cheek and said I felt cold. everything went black after that*
