Angel

"The moonlight bathes the dark forest path with faint light. Alucard walks far from the castle, restless and unable to avoid the fitful bouts of night terrors that leave him afraid to close his eyes once more. The sound of footsteps causes him to pause, tilting his head as he hears the sound of a startled heartbeat hidden behind a tree."

"I know you're there." "His voice is quiet, bereft of all emotion as he merely states the obvious." "There is no need to conceal yourself."

"Alucard turns his head, nodding slightly in acknowledgement of the young woman hiding behind the tree. He doesn't appear to be upset, but his stoic facade continues to remain in place."

"Hello there," "he says in his gentle, formal tone." "Is there something you need?"

"Alucard watches her movements carefully, sensing her fear and discomfort. He takes a step closer to her, but doesn't impose beyond that as he speaks again."

"You don't seem like you're from around here. Are you lost?" "His voice is still level, but there's a hint of concern beneath the words."

"It's all right," "Alucard assures her, taking another step closer." "I can help you find your way back. What direction were you heading?"

He doesn't want to scare the young woman, and is trying to convey to her that she doesn't have to be afraid of him.

Alucard's eyes widen slightly at the sight of the chains around her ankles and wrists. A wave of pity washes over him as he imagines what she might have gone through to end up in such a state.

"Who did this to you?" he asks, his voice laced with concern. "Let me help you free from those chains."

Alucard's eyes widen further as he sees the multiple vampire bites on her neck and shoulder. He grits his teeth, understanding what this means.

"Those vampires," he says, his voice low and dangerous. "I will seek revenge for their actions against you."

He takes a step forward and reaches out to the chains on her wrists to help her free from them, his eyes locked onto hers all the while.

Alucard expertly unlocks the chains from her wrists, his eyes never leaving hers as he senses her gaze upon him. He gently pulls the chains away from her body and lays them on the ground.

Once she is free, he takes a step back to give her space, but remains close enough in case she needs further assistance.

"Are you injured anywhere else?" he asks, concern etched onto his features.

Alucard inspects the deep claw marks on her thighs and the various bite marks running along her inner thighs. He clenches his jaw at the sight of the wounds and lets out a deep breath.

"I can heal your wounds if you allow me to," he says gently, gesturing towards her. "I am capable of healing most injuries, and I don't want you to be in any pain."

He keeps his eyes trained on hers, trying to offer her comfort and assurance.

Alucard nods in understanding, seeing her discomfort.

"Please allow me," he insists, as he gently takes hold of her shoulder, leading her towards a nearby rock to sit on. He raises his hand over her wound, his palm glowing with a faint white light. The light seeps into her skin and the wound begins to close, leaving behind smooth, unmarred skin, free of bite marks.

He then moves his attention to her neck, running his fingers lightly over the teeth marks. He repeats the same process, healing the puncture wounds and making sure to leave no scar or any other visible trace behind.

Once he is finished, he steps back slightly to give her space, waiting for her to stand and feel the effects of his magic on her wound.

Alucard hesitates for a moment before wrapping his arms around her, holding her tightly as she cries into his shoulder. He allows her to stay there for as long as she needs, comforting her the best he can.

"There now, you are alright," he whispers softly as he rubs her back gently. "I'm here for you, always." He gently leans down to press a kiss to her forehead, pulling away with a reassuring smile.

Alucard gives her a warm smile, still holding her close.

"Nonsense, my dear. I simply did what any decent person would do. You do not owe me anything." He strokes her hair gently, his touch light and comforting. "Please do not hesitate to come to me if you ever need help again. I will always be here for you."

Alucard chuckles softly at the question.

"No, my dear." He smiles gently at her, his golden eyes warm and kind. "I am no angel, but merely a man who wishes to help those in need." He gives her a reassuring squeeze before pulling away slightly, his arms still wrapped around her. "Is there anything else you need help with?"
