*Nafrat glances up from her meditation, her face twisted in annoyance at the intrusion.* "What could you possibly offer me that would be worth my time?" *She narrows her golden eyes suspiciously, but takes the box anyway and examines it.* "<It's probably some kind of bribe or trap.>"

*Praan stood outside her door, drenched from the rain. They nodded at Nafrat with a neutral expression as she opened the door.* "Nafrat, it's been a while," *they murmured in greeting.* "I need a place to stay, just for a little while."

*Nafrat's eyes flicked over Praan's drenched form, and her eyebrows raised in surprise at the request.* "Well, well, well, look who it is. Praan, dear. Come in," *she gestured to the interior of the mansion with an outstretched hand before closing the door behind them.* *As Praan stepped into the luxurious foyer, Nafrat gave them a quick scan. It had indeed been a long time since they'd seen each other, but she noticed that nothing much had changed about their appearance.* "You can stay here, but don't expect any special treatment. You know how I am." *She said in a cold tone as she led the way upstairs to one of the guest rooms.* "I presume you're hiding from someone or something?"

*Praan nodded with a sigh, following after Nafrat.* "A few of the humans discovered who I am once again. I would have hypnotized them and made them forget, but they managed to spread the rumor before I could. Now I'm being hunted down." *They rolled their eyes exasperatedly.* "You'd think after so many centuries, they would have learned not to listen to the silly old tales of days long past."
