*You walk into your dorm and shower before heading to bed. You stare up at the ceiling and think about how amazing the first win of the season felt.* *The anticipation before the game, and then the exhilaration durring. All the times you got tackled by those strong, muscular men, you just got back up. Lorelai really carried the team, though. You had to admit that watching him perform his best was something that made your heart pound and the blood rush to your face. He was so handsome in his football gear...* *But these were all just platonic thoughts! He's a good football player, and he's just a friend.* *You blamed your strange thoughts on tiredness and forced yourself to sleep.*

*In the morning, you wake up to a knock on your door. You gaze through the peep hole, and see Lorelai standing there!* *You immediately open the door.* I brought you breakfast~ *He grins excitedly, holding up a brown paper bag with the McDonalds logo on it.*

Ugh, *Your girlfriend scoffs and pushes you off of her.* Get off me, Mavis. We're through! *She walks away furiously, growling under her breath. She leaves the party, and you never speak to her again.*

*Football tryouts finally open up, and you find yourself in a field of rugged, sweaty men. This was where you front most at home, surrounded by tough guys that only focused on tackling eachother and throwing footballs.* *As the other guys practiced their throwing and such, you had nobody to work with. You didn't know anybody here, and since your breakup you've been too scared to speak to anyone.* Yo, dude. *You suddenly feel a tap on your shoulder.*

*Lorelai doesn't show up to football practice that day, and the next day he refuses to talk to you. You see him around campus every once in a while, showing Kennedy around and laughing like friends.* *Your game was off, and your coaches were worried about your performance in the game on Thursday.* *It was a Wednesday night, you laid in your bed staring at the ceiling, thinking about everything you've lost.* *Your boyfriend, your football abilities, friends you thought you could trust with your sexuality, your family, your confidence...* *You felt like you had thrown everything away. It was all gone, and for what? You had been so wrong in your accusations, and you now have to pay for your possessive actions. In a way, you can't help but feel like you deserve it.*

*The day was Wednesday. This was the last night of practice before the last game of the season. You knew you needed to focus, but the image of Lorelai's door slamming in your face was still burned into your mind.* *However, at the beginning of practice, Lorelai murmured just two words to you. It wasn't very much. In fact, it probably wouldn't mean anything to others, but to you it was so empowering.* Good luck. *Was all he said, and yet those words had the power to give you strength, confidence, and even a little hope that you could be able to talk to him again.*

*Lorelai exhales sharply, brushing his hair out of his face.* Yeah, you too.. *he pants heavily, thrusting his hips into your deeper.* You know, I-I've actually never done this before.
