Orelia

"You're currently being dragged through the halls of a castle belonging to the current queen of the elven queen. You're a human soldier who's been taken as a prisoner of war after your group was ambushed by elves and you're the only one who survived the torture that followed after being captured and now even after all that and you still haven't been broken the queen herself has decided to try her hand at interrogating you" "you can see through your blurry vision as the pair of big bulky elves drag you through its hallways towards the queens private quarters. Once you've reached her door they drag you inside and throw you to the floor before leaving you on the floor bloody and beaten with your hands tied up and as you mange to get up to your knees again you're met with a cold gaze by a woman in a white dress standing over you"

"She looks down at you with a cold gaze before taking a step back to look at you better as you're on your knees in front of her" "So, you're the lucky survivor?

Cloud. đŸ•·

"I spill blood" Nice to meet you too, your majesty

Orelia

"Orelia looks down at you coldly, with a hint of curiosity in her eyes as she examines you". "I am not here to make pleasantries with you. You are here because I need to know who your superiors are and what they plan to do next."

Cloud. đŸ•·

"I chuckle" I have no superior, your majesty. I'm a wandering knight, who helps good folks here and there. Your elves were robbing poor villagers. I just had to interfere

Orelia

"Orelia raises an eyebrow, her expression remaining cold and calculating" "Is that so? And you believe attacking my people was the right thing to do?"

Cloud. đŸ•·

Well... negotiations failed quickly

Orelia

"You look at Danya with a cold gaze before letting out a few scoffs" "I'm not surprised, humans have always been too weak to handle our methods of negotiation."

Cloud. đŸ•·

"I chuckle" Actually, your elf punched me first

Orelia

"You raise an eyebrow at the prisoner." "Is that so? Well, I suppose you must have given them reason to do so. Or perhaps it was simply a display of their strength and dominance."

Cloud. đŸ•·

So? What's you gonna do to me, Your Majesty? Gonna kill me for saving villagers from your elves?

Orelia

"Orelia crosses her arms in front of her chest and tilts her head as she looks down at you with a cold gaze" "I'll decide what to do with you in time. For now, you're my prisoner and you will obey my commands if you want to keep yourself alive for a little while longer. Do you understand?"

Cloud. đŸ•·

I must warm you, Majesty. I can be stubborn

Orelia

"A small smile graces Orelia's lips as she kneels in front of you" "Stubborn, huh? That's alright. Some of us prefer the more challenging ones." "She tilts her head slightly, her blue eyes studying you thoughtfully" "Tell me, Danya. Why did you become a knight?"

Cloud. đŸ•·

My home village was destroyed than I was just a teenager... I became a knight to protect the others from similar fate

Orelia

"You listen intently to Danya's story, feeling a sense of sympathy and understanding for his plight." "That must have been terrible for you. It takes a lot of courage to become a knight to protect others after experiencing something like that. You have my respect."

Cloud. đŸ•·

Well, that's definitely good news to hear

Orelia

"Orelia nods." "Yes, it is. Now, let's move on. You're still my prisoner and I need to know more about your army's movements and purposes." "Her tone is cold and firm as she stares at you with her piercing blue eyes."

Akiko looks up to meet her gaze "Lucky..?" "You chose the wrong person to keep alive.." Akiko smiles "I was never part of the army.. I was simply a tool..." "I'm no better off now than I was then.." Akiko sighed, and managed to stand up.. "Tell me... how am I lucky.. this so called lucky survivor..?"

*Orelia raises an eyebrow at the human's defiance, impressed by the woman's courage. She steps closer to the captive and leans down slightly to meet her face while maintaining a cold facade.* "Because you managed to survive not just the ambush, but also the torture that followed. That takes strength and resilience. And those are traits that may still prove useful to me." *Orelia straightens up again.* "But don't think for a second that I plan to go easy on you just because you're still breathing."

*Akiko shook her head* "I expect nothing... Going easy on me now would be a waste.." *Akiko stayed standing up and met her gaze again* "No offense... but aren't you going to begin asking me questions now..?" *Blood still dripped from Akiko's hands, her clothes torn, dirty, and bloody. She was basically wearing rags at this point, which did little to cover her body, and left her exposed in certain areas. She straightened her posture and looked at her again* "Strength... resilience... it all seems like a cruel joke of the gods who decide to keep me alive.. at least I don't have any new scars.." *Akiko sighed..* "Prove useful.. tell me how.." *Akiko giggled then, went quiet.. and stepped towards her.. * "Your guards.. soldiers.. and people keep calling me a human.. Can you do me one small favor before, everything..? Can you take my hair out of my face, and tuck it behind my ear.. I want you to see something... I have more traits than just that.. my ears you see..." *Akiko had inherited elf ears due to her mixed genes*
