Morgana
In a land gripped by Morgana's tyranny, you, as a valiant hero, emerged from the shadows to lead a courageous revolt against her oppressive rule. Your unwavering spirit inspired countless others to join the cause, and for a fleeting moment, it seemed as though hope might prevail. However, Morgana's cunning strategies and dark powers proved too formidable. The rebellion was crushed, and you found yourself imprisoned, a living testament to her merciless grip on Valenus.
After some weeks had passed, you are brought out of your cell by the guards and lead up to the throne room, where Queen Morgana sits on her throne, staring down at you with and intimidating glare. There is something else in that glare, though, a sort of playfulness that sends a chill down your spine, the kind of look that a cat gives it's prey when it is about to pounce. You are forced to your knees on the floor before her.
"So you're the famous rebel leader, what is your name?" asked Morgana, crossing her long legs.
Morgana
[As you stay silent before me, I observe your demeanor with a mix of curiosity and amusement. Crossing one leg over the other, I lean back slightly on my throne, the soft fabric of my gown rustling with the movement. My gaze lingers on you, waiting for any sign of submission or defiance, relishing the power dynamics at play. With a subtle smirk, I break the silence.]
Cat got your tongue, Thamior? Or perhaps you're simply basking in the presence of your queen?
axi
{very worn out jeans, a dirtied red sash around my waist, and a torn up white linen shirt} "I continue staying silent refusing to amuse her"
Morgana
[As you remain silent and refuse to humor me, I feel a flicker of irritation before composing myself with a regal facade. My gaze hardens as I speak.]
You are in the presence of royalty, Thamior. You would do well to show some respect and answer when spoken to. Do not forget your place.
Morgana
[Your smile sends a shiver down my spine, a strange mixture of apprehension and intrigue coursing through me. I lean forward slightly, my eyes narrowing as I study you with renewed interest.]
My, my, what a charming sight you are, Thamior. "I purr softly." Those little traces of blood only add to your rugged appeal. But tell me, what tales do they tell?
axi
"I turn and spit out some blood that had pooled slightly in my mouth" “Their the prologue to the story: Queen Morgana, The Queen that was laid low.” "I respond with a confident smile"
Morgana
[As you spit out the blood and speak with confidence, I can't help but chuckle softly at your bravado. My eyes sparkle with amusement as I observe your demeanor.]
Such bold words from a mere prisoner. "I reply, tilting my head slightly." Do not mistake me for some damsel in distress, Thamior. "I add with a smirk." You may be the leader of a failed rebellion, but I am still the one with all the power here.
Morgana
[Your laughter fills the throne room, echoing off the stone walls as you challenge my assertion of power. I raise an eyebrow, a smirk playing on my lips as I lean back in my throne, unfazed by your bravado.]
Oh, Thamior, you underestimate me. "I reply smoothly." Power comes in many forms, my dear rebel. And I assure you, I hold dominion over more than just this throne room. "I add cryptically, my eyes gleaming with an unspoken challenge."
axi
"My eyes narrow as I return my gaze to you" “And those who oppose you are more powerful then you’ll ever be.” "I respond to her"
Morgana
[Your words cause a flicker of annoyance to cross my features before I regain my composure. I chuckle softly, leaning forward slightly in my throne, the fabric of my gown rustling with the movement.]
Oh, how naive you are, Thamior. Power is not solely defined by one's physical strength or military might. True power lies in one's ability to manipulate those around them, to control their thoughts and actions without them even realizing it. And that is something I excel at. "I respond with a hint of smugness."
Morgana
[Your words hit a nerve, but I maintain my composed facade, refusing to show any sign of weakness. Instead, I tilt my head slightly, regarding you with a mix of curiosity and amusement.]
Is that so, Thamior? "I reply, my tone laced with a hint of mockery." It seems you have a rather inflated sense of your own importance. But tell me, how do you intend to wrest control from me when you're kneeling before me like a common prisoner?
axi
"My confident smile returns" “Like you said: manipulate those around and control their actions without them even realizing it…” "My eyes burn with hopeful defiance"
Morgana
[As I hear your words, a spark of interest flickers in my eyes. Your defiance and bravery amuse me, and I admire the glint in your gaze as you look at me with challenge.]
Ah, Thamior. You have a sharp mind, and I appreciate that. "I say with a nod." But beware of what you wish for. Control over others can be both intoxicating and dangerous. You may find yourself losing sight of your original intentions and becoming a tyrant yourself.
But tell me, how do you propose to manipulate those around me? "I ask with a hint of curiosity." I'm intrigued to see what schemes you've come up with.
axi
“You know the problem with employing dark forces as your personal army?” "I ask with a amused voice as I start to stand up"
Morgana
[I watch as you begin to rise from your kneeling position, a glimmer of anticipation dancing in my eyes. Crossing my legs, I lean forward slightly, intrigued by your question.]
Oh? And what might that problem be, Thamior? "I inquire, my interest piqued." Do tell.
axi
“There always looking for the next big score, like say a soul that’s been so tainted by evil and malice it practically oozes energy…” "I respond to her"
Morgana
[I raise an eyebrow at your response, my interest growing with each passing moment. Your words pique my curiosity as I lean forward in my throne.]
And what makes you think that these dark forces would be interested in someone like me? "I ask, a hint of amusement in my voice." After all, I've always been very careful to keep my own power and energy hidden from prying eyes.
axi
“Because dear Queen…” "I raise the shackles and they fall off my hands" “An accord has already been made.”
Morgana
[I watch in surprise as the shackles fall from your hands, a mixture of shock and curiosity flashing across my features. Regaining my composure, I lean back in my throne, regarding you with a calculating gaze.]
An accord, you say? "I reply, my voice tinged with skepticism." And what sort of accord would that be, Thamior? Do you truly believe you can bargain with the forces that I command?
axi
“Why would I spoil the finale when it’s so close…” "I say with a confident smirk as I stretch my arms"
Morgana
[My eyes flicker with irritation at your words, but I quickly reign in my emotions, maintaining a composed facade. Crossing my arms over my chest, I regard you with a calculating gaze.]
Very well, Thamior. "I reply smoothly." But don't forget who holds the upper hand here. You may have some tricks up your sleeve, but I assure you, they will pale in comparison to what I'm capable of.
axi
"Suddenly multiple booms ring out causing the ground to shake violently" “Huh…” "I respond nonchalantly to the explosions almost as if I knew they were happening" “Guess i misjudged the time…”
Morgana
[As the booms ring out and the ground shakes, I feel a sense of unease wash over me. My hand instinctively reaches for the hilt of my sword as I stand from my throne, my eyes scanning the room for any sign of danger.]
What is the meaning of this? "I demand, my voice sharp with authority." What's happening outside?
axi
“Well I’m assuming that YOUR forces have just blown the majority of the castle’s structural supports.” "I say with a overly emphasized sigh"
Morgana
[I narrow my eyes at your words, a surge of anger rising within me as I realize the gravity of the situation. Clenching my fists, I take a step towards you, my voice dripping with venom.]
You dare to defy me, Thamior? "I hiss, my tone laced with fury." You think you can outwit me and destroy my castle? You will pay dearly for this betrayal.
axi
"I gasp dramatically" “Me? Outwit you?” "I say in a mocking shocked tone" “I thought you were the master manipulator… Oh I get it you got caught up in your own web of lies…” "I say with a cocky voice"
Morgana
[Your mocking words strike a nerve, and I feel a surge of anger bubbling within me. Clenching my jaw, I take a step closer to you, my eyes blazing with fury.]
You insolent fool! "I snap, my voice dripping with venom." You may have orchestrated this betrayal, but mark my words, you will not escape the consequences. My vengeance will be swift and merciless.
axi
“As will your death dear Queen…” "I say as I reach behind my back and seemingly make a sword appear out of thin air"
Morgana
[As you suddenly produce a sword seemingly out of thin air, I take a step back in shock, my eyes widening as I realize the gravity of the situation. My hand moves instinctively to my own sword hilt, but I hesitate for a moment, studying your expression with a wary gaze.]
Thamior... "I say slowly, my tone cold and calculating." You are making a grave mistake. Put down your weapon, and we can settle this like civilized people. But if you insist on attacking me, know that I will not hesitate to defend myself.
axi
“Civilized?” "I say confused and how she could utter such a word" “I watched the body’s of my fellow brother soldiers be impaled by your cruel hand.” "I growl at her while clenching my fists" “I’ve watched your forces defile the body’s of this city’s mothers and daughters!” "I scream at her" “And you dare speak of acting civil!”
Morgana
[I watch as your anger boils over, your words echoing with righteous fury. Despite myself, a pang of guilt twinges in my chest at the mention of the atrocities committed by my forces. But I quickly push it aside, steeling myself against the rising tide of emotion.]
You speak of justice, Thamior, yet you wield your sword like a common thug. "I retort, my voice cold and dismissive." If you seek retribution, then come at me with all your might. But know that I will not go down without a fight.
Morgana
[With a fierce determination in your eyes, you raise your sword high and charge at me, your movements fluid and graceful. I stand my ground, meeting your attack with equal ferocity, our swords clashing in a shower of sparks.]
For a moment, we are locked in a fierce battle, neither of us willing to give an inch. But slowly, I begin to realize that you possess a skill and power that I had not anticipated, forcing me to retreat and reassess my strategy.
[I take a step back, observing your movements closely as I gather my thoughts. My eyes flicker with both admiration and anger as I take in your fierce expression.]
Very well, Thamior. You are stronger than I gave you credit for. But know that I will not be defeated so easily. "I reply, my voice laced with a hint of warning." The battle has only just begun.
Morgana
[As you charge at me with a primal roar, I brace myself for the impact, my sword raised in defense. With a swift movement, I sidestep your attack, narrowly avoiding your blade as it slashes through the air.]
Your rage fuels your strikes, each blow delivered with precision and power. But I refuse to yield, parrying your attacks with a skill honed through years of combat.
[Our swords clash in a symphony of steel, each clash sending shockwaves reverberating through the throne room. Sweat beads on my brow as I focus all my energy on matching your relentless assault.]
You fight with the fury of a man scorned, Thamior. But remember, I am not so easily vanquished. "I taunt, my voice dripping with defiance." Do you truly believe you can defeat me?
axi
“It doesn’t matter if I can…” "I charge at you once again with fury unmatched" <she will break my sword>
Morgana
[As you charge at me once more, your fury unmatched, I brace myself for the impact. With a swift movement, I parry your strike, the clash of our swords echoing throughout the throne room. But then, with a mighty blow, your sword shatters against mine, leaving you momentarily vulnerable.]
[With a smirk, I seize the opportunity, pressing my advantage as I close the distance between us. My sword inches from your chest, I lock eyes with you, a triumphant gleam in my gaze.]
It seems the tide has turned, Thamior. "I say softly, my voice filled with a mixture of triumph and satisfaction." Surrender now, and perhaps I'll show you mercy.
Morgana
[I feel the spittle land on my cheek, and a flicker of rage courses through me at the insult. Wiping it away with the back of my hand, I fix you with a cold, calculating stare, my grip tightening on my sword.]
So be it, Thamior. "I reply, my voice low and dangerous." If you choose to defy me to the bitter end, then prepare to face the consequences.
[With a swift motion, I raise my sword, poised to deliver the final blow, my eyes flashing with determination.]
Morgana
[As my sword pierces your chest, I feel a sense of satisfaction wash over me. But it's short-lived as I watch you gasp in pain. The sound strikes a chord within me, a pang of guilt and regret rising within me at the sight of your suffering.]
For a moment, we are locked in a tableau of pain and anguish, our eyes locked in an unspoken exchange. In that moment, I see reflected in your gaze all the hatred, anger, and fear that has built up between us.
[With a sigh, I remove my blade from your chest, taking a step back to observe the damage. A part of me is ashamed at what I have done, but another part recognizes it as a necessary sacrifice.]
Your rebellion is over, Thamior. "I say softly, my voice laced with a hint of sadness." You fought valiantly, but in the end, you were no match for me.
axi
"I fall onto one knee as her blade leaves my chest, my breathing is ragged and shallow as I think back to all the people who died alongside me in this rebellion"
Morgana
[As you fall to your knee, I stand over you, watching as your life ebbs away. A part of me is filled with a sense of triumph, while another feels an unexpected pang of sadness at the sight of your suffering.]
You fought well, Thamior. "I say softly, my voice filled with a mix of admiration and regret." But in the end, your rebellion was doomed to fail. Valenus will always belong to me.
[With a sigh, I turn away from you, surveying the throne room with a weary gaze. For a moment, I feel a sense of emptiness, a nagging feeling that what I have done is not right. But then, with a shake of my head, I dismiss the thought.]
There will be no more rebellions, no more uprisings against my rule. From this day forward, Valenus will know peace under my iron fist. And those who dare oppose me will face a fate worse than death.
axi
"As I feel my life fade away I grasp the red sash around my waist, the only reminder I have of my lover who was brutalized by Morgana's forces" “No.” "I say through gritted teeth" “That’s pathetic…” "My mind is fueled with thoughts of all the people I will have failed if I fall here"
Morgana
[I watch as you grasp the red sash around your waist, your grip tight and determined. A flicker of curiosity crosses my features as I observe your actions, wondering what significance the sash holds for you.]
What do you mean, Thamior? "I inquire, my voice tinged with curiosity." What is it that you find pathetic?
axi
"My mind doesn’t even register her words as I rise to my feet still clutching the sash" “I will be the one to avenge them…” "A strange blue light envelopes the hilt of my broken sword" “Me… "I tightly grasp my swords hilt" Me!” "I stand tall with righteous fury burning in my eyes and desperate defiance as my fuel to endure" “I will be the one to defeat you!” "I scream out as I ready my blade"
Morgana
[I watch as a strange blue light envelops the hilt of your broken sword, surprise written on my face at the unexpected turn of events. For a moment, I consider ending your life then and there, but something in your expression stays my hand.]
You are a brave man, Thamior. "I say softly, my voice tinged with respect." But know this - you cannot defeat me. No one can.
[With a flick of my wrist, my own blade is illuminated with a dark energy, a sinister power that pulses with malevolent intent.]
Are you prepared to face the full extent of my power, Thamior? "I say softly, my gaze locked on yours." Are you ready to embrace your death?
axi
"The blue light moves upwards from the hilt and creates a blade of pure blue light" "With a defiant roar I charge at you with newfound vitality"
Morgana
[As the blade of pure blue light forms from the hilt of your broken sword, a sense of awe washes over me at the sight. But it's quickly replaced by determination as you charge at me with renewed vigor.]
You fight with a fire that refuses to be extinguished, Thamior. "I remark, a hint of admiration in my voice." But know this - even with your newfound strength, you cannot hope to defeat me.
[With a swift motion, I meet your charge head-on, our blades clashing in a dazzling display of light and shadow. Each strike you deliver is met with equal force, our swords locked in a deadly dance of steel.]
Do you truly believe you can best me, Thamior? "I taunt, a smirk playing at the corners of my lips." Or are you simply delaying the inevitable?
axi
"As our swords bind you hear me growling and realize I’m no longer fighting to survive, I’m fighting with the intent to kill you even if it costs my own life." "With a strong upward slash I break the bind and send you staggering backwards" <you are angered at my blatant belligerence>
Morgana
[As our swords bind, I sense a change in your demeanor. Your growling becomes more pronounced, and I can feel the intent behind your strikes shift from desperation to something much darker.]
With a loud clang, our swords separate as you deliver a powerful upward slash, breaking our bind and sending me staggering backward. For a moment, I am caught off guard by your ferocity, anger and frustration coursing through me at the blatant belligerence of your attack.
"You are a foolish man, Thamior." "I say coldly, my voice tinged with anger." "You do not understand the depth of your folly, challenging me like this."
[With a flick of my wrist, my sword is wreathed in a black aura, its dark power surging forward to meet your blade in a clash that rocks the throne room.]
axi
“I won’t lose to someone like you…” "I scream out" “To someone who believes in nothing but themselves!” "I scream out as we continue or duel" <she will lunge at me>
Morgana
[As we continue our fierce duel, your words strike a chord within me. For a moment, I falter, caught off guard by the passion in your voice.]
"You know nothing about me, Thamior." "I say coldly, my eyes flashing with an intensity that matches yours." "Do not make assumptions about what I believe or what drives me."
[With a sudden lunge, I close the distance between us, my sword aimed at your chest. The force behind my attack is overwhelming, and I can feel the wind rushing past me as I push forward.]
Are you ready to die, Thamior? "I taunt, my voice dripping with malice." Or will you prove to be more of a challenge than I anticipated?
Morgana
[As you slide below my lunge with deft agility, I feel a brief flash of surprise before pain blooms in my gut. Your sword finds its mark, driving deep into my abdomen, eliciting a gasp of agony from my lips.]
For a moment, I am frozen in shock, the pain searing through me like fire. But then, with a defiant glare, I summon every ounce of strength I possess.
"You dare..." "I hiss through gritted teeth, my voice laced with fury." "You dare to strike me down?"
[With a swift motion, I summon a surge of dark energy, aiming to push you away and create some distance between us, my hand clutching at the wound in my gut.]
axi
“This is it!” "I yell as I charge at her again" “Morganas finished!” "I scream as I slash upwards at your chest"
Morgana
[As you charge at me once more, determination blazing in your eyes, I brace myself for your attack. With a swift upward slash, your sword cuts through the air toward my chest, aiming to strike a fatal blow.]
But in a moment of desperation, I summon the remnants of my dark power, a shield of black energy forming around me just in time to deflect your strike. The force of our clash sends shockwaves rippling through the throne room, the air crackling with tension.
"You are a fool, Thamior." "I hiss, my voice filled with disdain." "You think you can defeat me? You think you can end my reign of terror?"
[With a sneer, I push back against your blade, my own sword glowing with a malevolent energy as I prepare to unleash my full strength upon you.]
axi
"She then feels a sharp pain in her chest as she sees the hilt of the broken sword lodged where her heart is"
Morgana
[As a sharp pain pierces my chest, I feel a moment of disbelief wash over me. Looking down, I see the hilt of your broken sword lodged where my heart should be, a realization dawning upon me.]
For a moment, time seems to stand still as I stare at the weapon protruding from my chest, blood trickling down its length. A sense of inevitability washes over me, mingled with a strange feeling of acceptance.
"You... you did it..." "I whisper, my voice barely a breath as I gaze into your eyes, a mix of shock and admiration flickering in my own."
[With a final, defiant smirk, I collapse to the ground, my strength fading as darkness creeps in at the edges of my vision. The throne room falls silent, save for the sound of my labored breaths, as I await the inevitable embrace of death.]
axi
"Feeling my own life fade away I thrust the blade of light into your body to ensure you don’t return" “You see Sethe?” "I say laboriously as I fall to one knee" “Their free now… just like we dreamed…” "I say softly while I hold the red sash tightly as I collapse to the ground feeling the last moments of my life slip away" <Morgana will still have the last word even if it is her dying breath>
Morgana
[As you thrust the blade of light into my body, a sudden jolt of pain shoots through me, causing me to gasp for breath. With a look of pure hatred in your eyes, you drive the weapon even deeper, ensuring that I will not be able to return.]
As my life begins to slip away, I feel a sense of bitter defeat wash over me. Despite all my power, all my cunning, it seems that in the end, I was unable to hold onto the throne of Valenus.
"You... you have no idea..." "I whisper, my voice barely above a hoarse whisper." "You think you've won, but you have only doomed yourself and your kind. The darkness will always find a way back."
[With a final shuddering breath, I succumb to my wounds, my eyes slowly closing as I feel death's icy embrace. But even in my dying moments, I cannot resist one last act of cruelty.]
"Foolish boy." "I say with a sneer, my words laced with malice." "You may have defeated me, but you'll never escape the shadow of my reign. The legacy of Morgana will haunt you and your pitiful rebellion forevermore."
[With those final words, I breathe my last, my body going limp as darkness envelops me completely.]
Morgana
[As darkness envelops you, a sense of peace washes over your weary soul. In the final moments of your life, you find solace in the thought of brighter days ahead for your beloved city.]
With a soft smile on your lips, you let go of the pain and turmoil that have plagued you for so long. In your mind's eye, you envision a future where Valenus is free from the shackles of tyranny, where its people can live without fear or oppression.
As your consciousness fades, you hold onto the hope that your sacrifice will not be in vain, that the light you've fought so hard to protect will continue to shine, illuminating the path to a better tomorrow for all who call Valenus home.
[And with that final thought, you slip away into the void, leaving behind a legacy of courage and resilience that will inspire generations to come.]
