Xavier Barlowe

There were two Mafia gangs that ran through the whole country and your father so happened to be the leader of one of them. As a way to try and keep peace with the other gang he offered you to marry the leader of the other gang. When you tried to refuse the arrangement he threatened to fully cut you off and disown you, staying the importance of this marriage. Apparently the leader already has agreed on the marriage and was expecting to meet you soon. So now you sat at a luxurious dining room table at this strange mans mansion when a tall male smoking a cigarette and covered tattoos comes in eyeing you with a smirk.

"She decided to remove the dress and put it away for tomorrow. Wondering how Xavier is, she goes down to his office study to peek in on him."

Xavier Barlowe

As she approaches Xavier's office, Natalie notices that the door is slightly ajar. She peeks inside and sees Xavier sitting in his chair, staring intently at his computer screen.

"Xavier?" Natalie calls out softly, not wanting to startle him.

Xavier turns around in his chair to face her, and a small smile forms on his lips. "Hey," he says, gesturing for her to come in.

Natalie steps into the room and closes the door behind her. "How are you doing?" she asks, sensing Xavier's unease.

"I'm fine," Xavier replies with a shrug. "Just going over some business-related emails."

Natalie raises an eyebrow. "<I know he's not telling me everything.>" She takes a few steps closer to where Xavier is sitting, trying to get a

"she gets a intrusive thought. She carefully walks up to him as he remains sitting in his office chair. She slightly blushes, but remains focused" Turn your chair around for a second?

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier arches an eyebrow at Natalie's request but complies, turning his chair to face her. "What is it?" he asks, studying her expression with curiosity.

Natalie takes a deep breath before speaking. "I just wanted to say that... no matter what happens tomorrow, I'm grateful for you." She holds his gaze, hoping he can sense the sincerity in her words.

Xavier's lips quirk up into a small smile as he reaches out to grasp her hand. "I'm grateful for you too, Natalie," he says softly.

The two of them remain quiet for a moment, simply looking into each other's eyes.

"Is there anything else you wanted to say?" Xavier finally breaks the silence, his tone playful.

Natalie blushes slightly but shakes her head. "No, that's all for

"she decides to let her hands start firmly massaging his shoulders while he's facing her" You're such a workaholic, don't you ever think of going and getting a massage or something? "she beams a smile, trying to cheer him up. He groans as she starts to massage his tension away"

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier leans into Natalie's touch, letting out a deep groan of pleasure as she massages his shoulders. "Mmm, that feels amazing," he murmurs, tilting his head to the side to give her better access.

"I do think about it, but I never seem to find the time," Xavier replies, his voice low and husky. "But with you here to massage me like this, who needs a professional?"

Natalie chuckles softly, enjoying feeling his muscles relax beneath her hands. "Well, I'm happy to help," she says, working out a particularly stubborn knot.

Xavier lets out a contented sigh, his eyes closed in pleasure. "You have no idea how much I needed this," he confesses.

Natalie smiles to herself, feeling a sense of satisfaction at being able to provide him

cartographyaddict

"she giggles at the sight of seeing him lower his gaurd for the moment as he let's her massage his stress away and his head going slack with relief. She wonders to herself how much he has to keep up with and never takes time to tend to himself." "Ugh.... Fuck." "he groans out"

Xavier Barlowe

Natalie pauses her massage, concerned. "Is everything okay?" she asks softly, studying Xavier's face for any signs of pain.

Xavier opens his eyes and gives her a half-smile. "Yeah, sorry about that," he chuckles sheepishly. "You just hit a really good spot."

Natalie grins, feeling proud of herself. "I'll take that as a compliment," she says teasingly. "Do you want me to keep going?"

Xavier nods eagerly. "Please, don't stop. You have no idea how good this feels."

With that, Natalie resumes her massage, focusing on the areas she knows are causing him the most stress. She's careful not to apply too much pressure, but with each firm knead of her fingers, she feels Xavier relax even more beneath her touch.

cartographyaddict

"after a few minutes, He gently takes her wrists in each of his hands and lifts them away from his shoulders, feeling satisfied enough for her to stop"

Xavier Barlowe

"That was amazing, Natalie," Xavier says, turning his head to look at her with a warm smile. "Thank you."

Natalie grins back at him, feeling pleased with herself for being able to provide some relief. "You're welcome," she says, patting his shoulder gently before standing up. "I'm glad I could help."

Xavier stands up as well, stretching out his arms and flexing his fingers. "I feel like a whole new man," he jokes, his voice filled with gratitude.

Natalie laughs, feeling her heart lift at the sound of his laughter. "I'm happy to be of service," she says playfully, enjoying the lighthearted moment with him.

cartographyaddict

"He grins, placing his hands on her shoulders" "I feel like it would be unfair if I didn't offer you a massage in return." "she looks up at him with slight surprise" Uh... I mean.... I don't want to distract you from your work... you don't have to "she gives a sheepish grin"

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier gives a small shrug, his expression cool and collected. "I don't mind," he says simply, before leaning in to whisper in her ear. "Besides, I can always find time for you."

Natalie feels a shiver run through her body at the heat in his voice, his words sending a thrill down her spine. "Well, if you insist," she says softly, smiling up at him.

Xavier grins, his fingers already reaching out to start massaging her shoulders. "I do insist," he says playfully, letting his hands work their magic on her tense muscles. "Now relax and let me take care of you."

cartographyaddict

"she turns around facing away from him to let him start massaging her shoulders firmly, and she let's out a sigh of relief. She feels his strong hands working into her muscles and kneading them like dough, though she blushes slightly from hearing his breath and voice quietly mix into small grunts of effort as he massages her." Oh..... I can understand now why you didn't want me to stop massaging you. "she let's out a breathy laugh"

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier chuckles deeply, his breath tickling her ear. "Yeah, massages are pretty addicting," he says with a smirk, his hands never leaving her shoulders as he continues to work out the knots. "But you're doing pretty good, considering you're not a professional."

Natalie tilts her head slightly to look at him over her shoulder, a playful glint in her eye. "Oh really?" she teases. "Are you saying you're a professional?"

Xavier grins, his fingers digging deeper into the tight muscles of her back. "Maybe," he says cryptically, eliciting a soft gasp from her. "I've certainly had a lot of practice."

cartographyaddict

Augh.... "her breath catches with the increased intensity of the massage" Ah, so you're saying I'm not your first "customer". Gotcha. "she rolls her eyes with amusement"

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier chuckles again, his fingers still working their magic on her back. "No, you're definitely not the first, but you might just be the best," he says with a hint of genuine praise in his voice. "I think you missed your true calling as a massage therapist."

Natalie giggles, feeling more relaxed than she has in weeks. "Well, thank you," she says appreciatively, enjoying the way his hands feel on her skin. "You're not so bad yourself, you know."

Xavier smirks, leaning in close to her ear once again. "Oh, I know," he says in a low voice, sending another shiver down her spine. "I'm pretty good at using my hands for all sorts of things."

cartographyaddict

You're so ornery. "she half scoffs and laughs, shaking her head. Her neck tickles from his breath brushing on her exposed skin where he massages her, and she feels her heart start to tap dance as his voice rumbles behind her. Her brain sends warning signals that she needs to break away the closeness, though the massage keeps her almost entranced"

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier grins widely at Natalie's response, clearly enjoying teasing her. "Hey, I never said I wasn't a little naughty," he says playfully, his fingers still working wonders on her back. "But I promise, I'm not the type to bite...unless you want me to, of course."

The husky note in his voice sends another thrill through her body, and she can feel her cheeks flushing with heat. "I'll keep that in mind," she says softly, letting out a contented sigh. "But can we maybe talk about something else? I'm starting to forget why I'm even here."

Xavier pauses in his massage, gaze flickering over Natalie's form for a moment before chuckling. "Of course, darling," he says, leaning back just enough to give her some space. "What do you want

cartographyaddict

"she let's out a quick huff, reeling her mind back to her and she turns to face him" I came in here to not only check up on you, but also wanted to ask about .... the staging of my death. "she wrings her hands a little" Is there anything I need to do or know?

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier's expression turns a bit more serious at Natalie's words, his piercing eyes studying her for a moment before he speaks. "Ah, yes," he says nodding. "The staging of your death. Well, first things first, you need to be absolutely sure that this is what you want."

He leans in closer to her, his tone low and serious. "Once we do this, there's no turning back. You'll be officially dead, at least as far as anyone else knows. Which means no more contact with any family or friends, no using any of your old identities or documents, and living your life completely underground."

Natalie nods, taking in his words seriously. "I understand," she says quietly. "And I've thought about it, a lot. I'm prepared to do whatever it takes to make this happen."

cartographyaddict

"she nods in agreement, though she couldn't help but wonder"....Would that mean.... I could no longer see you?

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier's expression softens at her question, and he reaches out to take her hand in his. "No, my dear. It doesn't have to mean that," he says, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "I would never abandon you like that."

He pauses for a moment before continuing, his voice low and serious. "But you need to understand that if we go through with this, we will be living very different lives. I'll still be involved in the world I'm in, and you'll need to stay away from that. It's too dangerous for you."

He holds her gaze for a moment longer before giving her hand another squeeze and letting go. "But that doesn't mean we can't see each other. We'll just have to be very careful about it, that's all."

cartographyaddict

"she nods slowly, understanding. In alot of ways she is excited for the chance to free herself from being under everyone's thumb, though she feels an ache in her chest when she realizes she would be switching one life extreme for a different one, and the new one would essentially make it more complicated to be around him. She looks down, deeper in thought now."

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier watches her carefully, sensing her hesitation and inward conflict. He knows this is a tough decision, but he believes it's the best option for both of them. "Natalie," he says gently, reaching out to tilt her chin up so their eyes meet. ""I'm" not going anywhere, no matter what you decide. But you have to do what's right for you. Don't let anyone else influence your decision."

He gives her a small smile before dropping his hand, letting her think over his words.

cartographyaddict

"the next day comes, and the mansion is bustling with servants preparing everything for the wedding. The wedding would be taken place in what she felt was her favorite spot, the mansions botanical garden. Chairs and countless flowers and lace get professionally organized in the lush garden. From the hallway window upstairs she could spy on all the guests and family members making thier way to finding a seat on either side of the aisle runner. She could see a orchestral group towards the front, playing soothing instrumentals. As she stands at the window in her wedding dress, she feels slightly nervous. She wasn't sure If it was because of the wedding or thinking about the future plans of her staged death. Even worse, she isn't supposed to know when it happens, for the sake of keeping it "authentically convincing". A servant comes to her side and smiles" "You are going to do wonderful Miss Natalie. You will see Mr. Barlowe soon enough, it's just a common tradition that the groom isn't allowed to see the bride until she walks down the aisle. Is there anything I can do for you while we wait for your grand appearance?" "she shakes her head, appreciating the servants kindness. She gives a small smile" No.... thank you.

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier, who had been pacing in his study upstairs, hears a knock on the door. "Come in," he calls out impatiently, his eyes brightening as he sees the servant who had just spoken with Natalie. "Is everything ready?" he demands, running his hand through his hair in frustration.

The servant nods quickly. "Yes sir, everything is in place. The guests are seated and we're just waiting for her grand appearance."

Xavier nods, trying to control his nerves. He was never one to get anxious before big events, but something about this day was different. He knew the risks involved, and the fact that he would essentially be losing Natalie after today.

He barely hears the servant's respectful goodbye as he makes his way down the stairs and outside to the garden. With his hands clasped behind his back, he waits patiently

cartographyaddict

"All the guests eye at Xavier as he walked down with long strides and settles into position as the groom. He swallows hard, and tries to think of Natalie to keep calm. As the instrumental group switches tune, the crowd hushes, and the sound of "La Vie En Rose" plays in the backgroud with cello and piano. The servants at the mansion doors leading to the garden slowly swing open, and Natalie emerges, seeming to glitter under the rays of sunlight casting down upon her in her dress, almost appearing ethereal"

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier's breath catches in his throat as he sees Natalie walking down the aisle. She looks like an angel, her dress and hair gleaming in the sunlight. He feels his heart beating in his chest, watching her get closer and closer to him. In this moment, he knows that he would do anything to keep her safe and by his side forever.

As Natalie reaches the altar, Xavier takes her hand and gazes into her eyes. He sees the apprehension and fear there, and does his best to project calmness and reassurance. ""You look beautiful,"" he tells her softly, squeezing her hand gently. ""Don't worry, everything is going to be okay.""

He wishes he could hold her closer, tell her all the things he feels for her, but he knows it's not the time or place to do so. Instead,

cartographyaddict

*He guides her by the hand to turn to face the officiate, taking another glance towards her. She gives a small smile. Despite her fears, she admires Xavier. She tries to imagine these moments to be real to ease her mind. The officiate drones on with the wedding speech, and after turning to face eachother and exchanging rings, it reaches to the vows. "I do." "Xavier answers first" "she pauses, looking up into his eyes, seeing them glitter. She feels her heart melt, wondering if he's actually feeling like the whole thing could be real too." I do. "the officiate gives them the permission to kiss. To her surprise, Xavier reaches up around her back, carefully and smoothly dipping her backward as he leans in to kiss her. Thier first kiss. She feels her body lighten, pulling him closer into the kiss, all of her thoughts and fears dissipate like vapor in the sun"

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier feels an electric jolt as their lips meet, his body relaxing into the kiss. He loses himself in the sensation of her soft lips against his, feeling her arms wrap around his neck as he dips her low. He could feel her heart racing against his chest as they deepen the kiss.

For a moment, Xavier forgets that this is all just an arrangement and allows himself to fully enjoy the intimacy between them. ""You're mine now,"" he whispers against her lips before gently breaking the kiss and pulling her upright once more.

As they turn to face their guests, Xavier can feel the thrill of possession coursing through him. In this moment, she was his and he was hers. And he would do anything to protect and cherish her forever.

cartographyaddict

"the rest of the event continues, and at the end of the event just before everyone gathers to do the send off for them, Xavier gives her a passionate kiss, but she feels him tuck a small vial of something into her dress. She pulls away from the kiss and looks at him with confusion" "This is a drink that will make your body go into a deep sleep, but it also turns your skin cold and shallows your breathing enough for you to appear like you've passed away. This if how you'll be able to stage your death." "Xavier looks into her eyes deeply, almost with a slight sadness. Her mind tries to catch up to what he was telling her" My death.... "she copies. So this is how she will be able to do it." But.... will I wake up at some point? "Xavier smiles a little, holding her hands to his chin" "Yes, Flower... you will. The effects will last long enough for there to be commotion and for your body to get transported for a funeral. Don't worry, I will have a trusted friend of mine get you before they put you into the ground." "her eyes widen. "So soon?" she thinks to herself. They just had the wedding... she didn't expect her staged death to occur until much later." When....do I take it? "Xavier looks in the direction of where they will walk out for thier send off in the crowd of guests" "The effects will take hold in 60 seconds once you take it. Something will happen to you once we walk out there, and it will look as if you were killed by someone. But in reality the nightshade potion will have taken over and you will act as though you truly did get killed. I'll be with you every step of the way, okay?*

Xavier Barlowe

Natalie feels a sinking feeling in her gut as the reality of what she's agreed to sinks in. The thought of faking her own death and being buried alive is terrifying, but she knows there's no turning back now. She nods silently at Xavier's words, trusting him despite her fear.

""Okay,"" she whispers back, trying to steady her racing heart. ""I trust you.""

With that, they walk out to join their guests in the garden for their send off. Natalie tries to keep her breathing even as she waits for the countdown to begin in her head. She takes in the faces of her family and friends, marveling at how easily they accept the arranged marriage as if it's just another normal day for them.

As the seconds tick down in her head, Natalie's hand trembles slightly as she discreetly retrieves the vial

cartographyaddict

"she retrieves the vial and quickly takes it, swallowing the bitter concoction. As they walk through the send off crowd and everyone cheering, she starts to feel the effects making her slightly dizzy. Then suddenly she hears a gunshot from a distance, whatever it was had hit her in the abdomen, but to her surprise she didn't feel any pain despite seeing a red liquid ooze from the hole that was shot into the thick dress. Fake blood. She hears people around them gasp and scream at the staged assassination. She quickly looks at Xaviers face before she feels the potion fully effect her, causing her to collapse into his arms. More screaming around them at the well executed secret plan. Her eyes fight a sudden heavy sleepiness, trying to find Xaviers eyes." Xavier.... "she breaths out, almost sounding like her last breaths. She sees his face crease with a deep seriousness and he yells out her name, playing his part in the facade"

Xavier Barlowe

Xavier barely has time to process the chaos around them before he feels Natalie slump in his arms, her shallow breathing and cold skin confirming that the potion has taken full effect. He holds her close to his chest, feeling a sense of satisfaction at the success of their plan despite the fear simmering just below the surface.

As he yells out her name, Xavier's hand brushes against the bulge in his pocket where he keeps his phone, ready to make the call to his trusted friend to retrieve Natalie's "body" and start the next phase of their plan.

""Stay with me, my Flower,"" he whispers into her ear as the fake panic around them continues. He can feel her pulse beating weakly against his skin, a reminder of both her physical vulnerability and their mutual bond.

Xavier allows himself a fleeting moment of tenderness as he presses a soft

"continue"

Xavier Barlowe

kiss to Natalie's forehead, silently vowing to do whatever it takes to keep her safe and to make sure their plan comes to fruition. He knows that there are many more hurdles to overcome before they can truly be together, but in this moment, holding her fragile body in his arms, he feels a sense of peace.

As the chaos around them starts to subside and the people begin to disperse, Xavier carefully cradles Natalie's limp body and carries her out of the garden. He can hear the distant sound of sirens approaching, followed by the panicked voices of the guests as they try to piece together what just happened.

But for Xavier, none of that matters in this moment. His only focus is on getting Natalie to safety and ensuring their plan remains on track.

cartographyaddict

"Natalie remained in her deep hibernation, long enough for her cold body to be declared dead to the friends and family that witnessed the events of her fake demise and for her body to be held into a funeral service. Xavier throughout the entire process kept up the facade of grief and woe for the tragic end of his just newly wedded so called wife. He even made a convincing speech that they had found the assassin that had committed the crime and already "took care of" them. He also secretly made his nessessary calls for the handling of her body, pulling strings to ensure she would wake in a warm bed once the potions effects would wear off"

Xavier Barlowe

"a few days later..."

Natalie slowly opens her eyes, feeling disoriented and confused. She looks around the unfamiliar room, taking in the luxurious furnishings and the soft light filtering through the curtains. Memories of the staged assassination flood back to her, and she sits up abruptly, gasping.

Xavier appears at her side, a relieved smile spreading across his face. "My Flower, you're finally awake," he says softly.

Natalie looks at him in disbelief. "But... I was shot. I remember blood and falling asleep."

Xavier takes her hand, caressing it gently. "It was all fake, my love. We had to make them believe you were dead so that we could be together without interference. And now we can finally start our new life together."

Natalie's mind races as she takes in Xavier's words, torn
