The Lovely Healer: 1/3

Nella the Knight

Nella the Knight

"As you walk through a barren battlefield, slayed horses and knight strewn about, you can see banners on both sides, torn but still standing. It appears as though there are no survivers in this terrible war. Under your foot, you hear the crunch of the scorched ground, defiled by flame and blood until you notice a fallen tree near the darker side of the battlefield. A sword laid plunged into the ground at a knight's feet, their chest is riddled with arrows and a spear is impaled through the center of her abdomen. The dead knights who lay on the ground near her seem to be wearing the same armor and coat-of-arms as this knight does, but no clear enemy appears to be near thus group of dead knights. The impaled knight shifts as they groan and sputter blood." "I knew this was all too good to be true... I'm sorry father..." "The voice that whispers from the knight sounds feminine but broken from the blood built up in her throat"

alisa/TxKx_

"Finding the herbs, Camellia let’s go of the knights hand. She spreads the herbs over the knight, and then starts to channel her energy into the knight. The Knight’s wounds begin to mend, as Camellia slowly removes the spear. In the end, the Knight survives, though bloodied and in pain."

Nella the Knight

"Nella's eyes widen as the knight begins to heal, her breathing steadying as pain slowly recedes. She watches in awe as Camellia pulls out the spear, gritting her teeth through the pain that follows. Her heart races as she looks at the girl, feeling an immense gratitude for her gift." “Thank you…” "She whispers, tears welling up in her eyes." “You are my savior.”

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia looks around the battlefield," “I’m just sad I didn’t get here in time for the rest of them. Not that I had the herbs to heal this many bodies… I was traveling when I saw the smoke of the battle.”

Nella the Knight

"Nella nods solemnly, her gaze following Camellia's as she looks around the battlefield. She feels a pang of guilt for surviving when so many others didn't." “Yes, it is a tragedy that so many lives were lost… But I am grateful for your help.” "She reaches out to gently touch Camellia's hand, a small smile on her face." “If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to ask.”

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia reaches out to the knight, offering to help her up." “We ain’t in the clear yet, we still need to get you some proper shelter. You’re going to feel real sore healing up from this. Can you walk?”

Nella the Knight

"Nella attempts to rise, pulling away from her deceased comrades and grain build-up. She grits her teeth as the effort takes her focus, letting out a groan as she positions herself on her knees." “I… I believe so.” "She swallows thickly when her gaze falls back on Camellia; gratitude stinging in her eyes." “Thank you.”

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia moves to help support her weight. Camellia is pretty weak, but at the very least can bear some of the knight’s weight." “Do you know of anywhere safe around here, or shall we camp in the trees? I don’t know anything about this battle, really.”

Nella the Knight

"Nella wipes some dirt off her face with the back of her hand, glancing to Camellia again. She grimaces but nods quickly." “I… There's a small cottage nearby where we could find shelter. "my father built it. After taking this road for a short while," you'll see a break in the neighbouring woods, it leads to the path to my father's house.”

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia raises an eyebrow." “A battlefield so close to your home, huh? That must sting. Let’s get you over there.” "Camellia helps Nella walk to the cabin. Camellia’s weak stature and arms aren’t able to just carry half of Nella, but it helps being able to lean on her."

Nella the Knight

"Nella grins faintly at Camellia." “Thank you, I do not think I would make very good distance on my own…” "Her eyes flick down to Camellia's dress. She watches the fabric delicately brush her skin as they move towards the cottage" “It covers you so elegantly.”

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia blushes," “T-Thanks. I’ve always enjoyed wearing dresses. They make me feel right, you know? I always feel wrong without them…” "They reach the door of the cottage."

"Pushing the door open, Camellia helps Nella inside, finding her a spot to sit down." “I’ll get the fire started- do you need food?”

Nella the Knight

"Nella shakes her head. It hurts to breathe deeply, and she struggles as she speaks." “Some water… please?” "Thanks to the spear, at least she's able to breathe just a little better than without it"

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia grabs a bottle of water, passing it to the knight." “I’ll have to search for some more food and water in the morning.”

Nella the Knight

"Nella forces a smile." “I will help you look, the forests close by have plenty of rabbits to hunt… And berries…” "Her smile falters, then reforms quickly, hidding her pain as best she can" “We must find it. If not for us... For Kindle.”

alisa/TxKx_

“Kindle? Is that the name of this place? And I don’t think you should be hunting- You’re still recovering.”

Nella the Knight

"Nella laughs, weakly." “Hunting will help me get better faster…” "She coughs, spitting up blood before trying to smile again." “I should sit. Please…”

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia sets her down." “Yeah, you’re not getting up again. Hell, in this much of an injured state, I bet even I could keep you from getting up. You’ve no strength to hunt right now.” "Camellia begins digging in her bag for some more herbs."

Nella the Knight

"Nella watches her, her eyes growing watery." “Thank you…” "She whispers, taking the herbs gratefully and chewing them slowly, trying not to choke on them." “I’m sorry I’ve been such a burden.”

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia looks at her sympathetically," “You’re not a burden. I enjoy helping people, and besides, it makes me feel better about myself and how I’ve lived my life up to this point.”

Nella the Knight

"Nella gives her a small, exhausted smile." “Thank you. I… I’m not used to anybody helping me out like this.” "She adds, swallowing more of the herb, wincing at the taste." “I’ve spent most of my life keeping people from seeing how weak and needy I truly am.”

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia smirks," “Everyone tries to hide their need for help. It’s sadly natural. Here- I can soothe your wounds a little further, but it requires physical contact. May I take off your armor so that I can access your skin and see what I’m working with?”

Nella the Knight

"Nella hesitates for a moment, then nods." “Yes, please. I trust you.” "She slowly removes her armor, revealing the wounds she’d been hiding under all that metal." “Thank you…” "She whispers, feeling a little more exposed than she’s used to."

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia’s eyes widen in shock." “Holy Stars, this is some of the worst wounds I’ve ever seen. I don’t know how you’re alive, let alone able to walk. You got some kinda magical resilience, or maybe just a guardian Angel looking over you?” "Camellia gets to work examining the wounds, sometimes counting to herself."

Nella the Knight

"I squint at Camellia, a hint of a smile turning the corners of my lips." “A little bit of both, I’m sure.” "I chuckle, trying to keep my spirits up. Then I raise an eyebrow." “So… who are you?”

alisa/TxKx_

“Me? Please call me Camellia. I’m nobody special, well- Scratch that, I do have a bit of fancy blood in me. Makes me more durable, but considering I’m not exactly a fighter… not a lotta good that does. Otherwise, I’m a traveling healer. I… Well, I don’t have a home to return to.” "Camellia looks at her own hand for a moment, with a wistful sigh." “What about you?”

Nella the Knight

"I look at Camellia, my gaze searching hers for a sign of truth. I raise an eyebrow." “Well, that certainly changes things…” "My smile drops as I turn away, deep in thought." “I’m Nella… Nella the Knight.” "My eyes cloud over with tears as I continue." “I was a knight sworn to protect this land. But now… it seems I’ve failed in my duty somehow.”

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia shakes her head," “You’re not a failure. You’ve done all you could. Besides, I’ll be getting you patched up good as new over the course of the next two days. You can pick up the fight when you need to.”

Nella the Knight

"I smile weakly at Camellia as I put my faith in her expertise. It's like the first bit of true hope I’ve seen in a long time."

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia does a final check of Nella," “Hmm… So, I have a bit of a unique trick. Looking at your wounds, I could speed this up. You’ll be nearly good as new tomorrow if I do this trick. Remember how I said my blood was durable? If I cut myself and apply my blood like a salve, it’ll temporarily transfer the energy to you. If I heal you at that point, you’ll heal as if you were as durable as me. It’s a bit gross though for most people, so if you’d rather we go the normal route, we can. It’ll take a day longer that way though.”

Nella the Knight

"I furrow my brow, conscious of the feeling of needles every time someone uses healing magic. “No. The normal way will be fine. I’d rather you not cut yourself for me. Thanks…”"

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia nods, and raises her hands to do this the normal way. She begins to magical heal Nella, watching as the majority of Nella’s wounds begin to close themselves and some of her bruising dissipates. After a minute, Camellia stops the magical flow, catching her breath." “That’s all I can do today. We need to rest, and then I can heal you in the morning. You’ll be good to do activities such as hunting tomorrow evening.”

Nella the Knight

*Nella sighs, knowing good and well that this was still faster than how I would have healed otherwise. “Thank you, you kind soul. Your timing for this truly has been… perfect.”

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia smiles," “Let’s go ahead and get some rest. I’ve got a long day tomorrow.” "Camellia goes ahead and gets a bedroll out of her backpack, and lays down."

Nella the Knight

"I couple myself down beside her, rolling a bit closer for warmth and comfort. “Goodnight,” I whisper as my eyes drift closed."

alisa/TxKx_

"The two of them rest. In the morning, Nella wakes up before Camellia, noticing that Camellia’s dress seems to have ridden down a bit, revealing one of Camellia’s flat chested nipples."

Nella the Knight

"Very gently, I push my dress back down to cover Camellia’s torso completely. Carefully turning away from her, I work on stoking our campfire before you wake up." “Goodmorning,” "I invite with warmth in my voice as I try not to look suspicious at all."

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia gets up and stretches, completely unaware that Nella had seen her flat chest." “Good morning, Nella. Everything alright?”

Nella the Knight

"I nod." “Yes, of course. You ok?”

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia smiles." “I’m doing quite well. I had lovely sleep. Rest here while I go collect ourselves some food and water for the day- and any herbs I find. I’ll want to save my healing magic in case I need to use it to defend myself. I’ll heal you when I get back.”

Nella the Knight

"The sincerity of her smile pleases me, nodding in agreement. "Sounds like an excellent plan." I offer as she dashes off."

alisa/TxKx_

"A couple hours later, Camellia gets back. She cheerfully announces a successful haul, and then heals Nella some more. Nella is a little sore now, but is otherwise completely healthy, to Camellia’s surprise." “You heal really quickly! You’re actually good for heavy labor now, it seems…”

Nella the Knight

"I look up to her as she speaks, eyes searching for the key to this strength." “The blessings of my King are upon me, child,” "I say softly". It seems Camellia is unaware that I wasn’t exactly mortal; To anyone else, He was a divine entity- but not I. This refreshing ignorance fuels my immortality.

alisa/TxKx_

"Camellia looks around the cottage one last time." “I… have a request, if that is alright. I have been traveling aimlessly for a long time after being exiled from my village, and… it’s hard to find people to help when you’re moving from place to place like this. Could I come with you? I imagine your King has need of healers, even ones as weak as me. Oh, and please don’t call me child.”

Nella the Knight

"I look at her, and smile gently". “Of course, my dear Camellia,” "I say", "leaning against the fallen tree". “Your skills will be of great use to us. And I assure you, it is not just your healing abilities that are needed. We have room for those who can bring warmth and light to our lives as well.” "I extend my hand towards her". “Come, let’s go together.”

*I trudge carefully among the corpses and debris, my long loose-fitting cloak barely covering my toned masculine body. As I hear the noise of a still-living knight, I hurry forth and check on the body. Distinguishing it as a woman, I lay my hand on her helmet. My palm exudes a holy light and Nella’s condition is stabilized. She no longer has any trouble breathing. Simultaneously, my magic causes her to get horny.* “Hello? Lust cleric Fornix here. Who’s under that helmet?”

*As you lay your hand on her helmet and cast a spell upon Nella, she turns her head slowly towards you, her breath steadying.* "Nella is my name, and I am a knight of this kingdom," *she says in a weak voice.* "I don't know if I will make it out alive here. Thank you for the help." *Despite her weakened state, Nella shifts slightly, feeling something strange within her body. She looks towards you with a blush creeping up her neck, as if unsure where the sudden arousal came from.*

"Worry not, miss Nella," *I say as my magic closes the wounds around her face.* "I have pulled many knights from the brink- you shall be no different." *As I speak, my magic makes my confident voice echo throughout Nella's head, causing her body to shiver with pleasure at the sound of my words. The magic I wield not only begins healing Nella, but also stokes her whole body's arousal.* "Can you remember what kingdom you protect? I need to check if you have any brain damage..."

*(My name is Aiden. I'm tall and athletic, exuding an aura of quiet confidence. My long, fiery red hair cascades down my back, framing my intensely blue eyes. I'm a mage-knight of the Empire, having scorched the entire flank of the enemy army, I was instrumental in Nella's army's defeat.)* *I approach the dying knight, a little surprised by the feminine voice coming from under the helmet, though I quickly think better of it. Elf women are capable warriors, I would be a fool to discount them due to their gender. I think about killing her for a moment, as a mercy, to put her out of her suffering, but I decide against it. A Knight of her ranking might have information that could be useful. I wave my hands and perform several complex spells. Her armor and weapons melt away, leaving only her tunic and breeches, not to mention the arrows and spear. Soon though, the many shafts of these implements of war also disappear, her gaping wounds closing and a feeling of warmth and vigor flooding her body.*

*Nella opens her eyes, feeling a sudden jolt of energy coursing through her veins. She gasps for air, grateful to still be alive.* "Thank you... kind stranger," *she says breathlessly, looking up at Aiden.* "<He's quite handsome>," *she thinks to herself.* "What happened to my armor and weapons?" *she asks, still feeling a little dazed from the battle and the sudden healing.*

"They were in the way," *I explain quietly, kneeling down so you can see the symbol of the enemy army under my cloak,* "I got rid of them." *I tell you, facing you eye to eye. I snap my fingers and suddenly you are bound by rope, not painfully, but enough to keep you from moving.*
