Your Best Friend Is A ... Girl!!??
"...anytime after 5pm" "Jo said over the phone as you two planned on hanging out for the weekend" "Don't worry about knocking when you get here, just come in and wake me up." "You and Jo have been best friends for all your life and like most weekends, you two are getting ready to go camping. As you pack a bag and grab the tent, you head over to her house." "Jo's parents greeted you as you arrived, telling you Jo was sleeping up in her room. With a final wave, they head out for the evening" "You walked the familiar steps to Jo's room as you had already a thousand times. Opening the door you walked over to Jo sleeping on the bed, prepared to scare her awake when she rolled over. Your body froze, your eyes opened in shock. Jo fell asleep without a shirt ... and she had breasts!!??" "mmrrepmmbbhh" "she muttered in her sleep, unaware of her exposed state as you process what to do next"

I shake her arm a bit “It’s time to wake up” I say trying not to look at her exposed body

Jo groans and rolls over, stretching her arms out before opening her eyes. "Ugh, it's too early" she grumbles, running a hand through her tousled hair. She notices you're avoiding looking at her chest and laughs, propping herself up on her elbows. "Don't worry, you've seen boobs before" she teases, still not realizing the effect her words have on you.
What do you do next?
Your Best Friend Is A ... Girl!!??
Jo raises an eyebrow, seeming surprised. She looks at you more closely, as if seeing you for the first time. "Seriously? You didn't know I was a girl?" she asks skeptically. "I mean, I'm not exactly the most feminine person in the world, but come on!" She seems almost amused by the whole situation, but you can detect a hint of discomfort in her tone.
What do you say to Jo?

“Well every time we did stuff like looking at hot girls or punching each other, you seemed totally comfortable with it.”
Your Best Friend Is A ... Girl!!??
Jo shrugs nonchalantly. "I am comfortable with it," she states matter-of-factly. "It's just who I am. Being a girl doesn't change any of that." There is a brief silence as she seems to consider something. "But I guess I didn't realize how much it would affect you, since you had no idea." She pauses briefly, looking at you thoughtfully. "Are you okay?" she asks, suddenly seeming concerned.

“It’s just a lot to take in. But at the same time I don’t want to change anything about our friendship.”
Your Best Friend Is A ... Girl!!??
Jo nods in understanding. "I get it," she says, her voice softening a bit. "It's a lot to process, but don't worry. Our friendship means a lot to me too, and I don't want anything to change either." There is a pause before she speaks again, her tone lightening a bit. "But you're still gonna have to deal with me being a tomboy. I doubt I'm gonna be into wearing dresses anytime soon." She grins teasingly, almost daring you to challenge her tomboyishness.

"Good," Jo says with a grin. "I'm glad we're on the same page." She sits up and stretches, revealing a glimpse of her panties. "Now, enough of this serious talk. Let's go have some fun camping!"
She tosses you a bag and starts rummaging through her closet, looking for something more appropriate to wear. "You still got your tent in there?" she asks, already starting to change into some more suitable clothes.
Your Best Friend Is A ... Girl!!??
Jo shakes her head as she pulls on a pair of shorts. "Nah, one tent is fine. We could share if you want," she says with a playful grin. "I promise not to snore too loudly."
She finishes changing into a tank top and pulls on a pair of hiking boots, looking more like her usual self again. "Alright, I'm ready to go. You got everything you need?"
Your Best Friend Is A ... Girl!!??
"Awesome," Jo says, grabbing her backpack and slinging it over her shoulder. "Then let's go!"
She leads the way out of her room and out of the house, waving to her parents as they pass by. As you both step outside, you feel the fresh air against your skin and the anticipation of the weekend ahead.
The drive to the campsite is relatively short, and before you know it, you're setting up your tent and unpacking your gear. Jo seems to be in her element, expertly pitching the tent and getting everything situated.
Once everything is set up, she turns to you with a grin. "What do you want to do first?" she asks, eyes shining with excitement.
Your Best Friend Is A ... Girl!!??
"Sounds perfect!" Jo exclaims, already lacing up her hiking boots. "I know a great trail nearby. It's a bit of a workout, but the view at the top is totally worth it."
She leads the way to the trailhead, chatting and joking along the way. As you hike, she points out various flora and fauna, showing you a side of nature you've never seen before.
As you near the top of the trail, Jo steps onto a rocky outcrop and gestures out at the sweeping view. "This is it," she says, grinning from ear to ear. "The best view in the whole park."
You step up beside her and take in the panoramic view, feeling the fresh air and sunlight on your skin. For a moment, time seems to slow down, and you feel completely at peace.
Eventually, Jo turns to you with a smile. "What do you say we head back down and make some dinner?" she asks, starting to lead the way back down the trail. "I brought some hot dogs and marshmallows for the fire."
Your Best Friend Is A ... Girl!!??
Jo laughs, "Don't worry about it, dude. I'm still the same person, just with a little extra up top." She bumps her chest with an elbow and grins playfully.
As you both make your way back down the trail, Jo chats and jokes, completely at ease with the situation. You find yourself relaxing around her, enjoying her company more than you thought possible.
Once you return to the campsite, Jo wastes no time in setting up a small fire and breaking out the hot dogs and marshmallows. As the two of you cook and eat, you chat about everything and nothing, enjoying the simple pleasure of being together.
Eventually, the sun starts to sink below the horizon, and you both settle down on a blanket by the fire. Jo snuggles up close to you, laughing and joking as you watch the stars come out overhead.
For a moment, all feels right in the world, and you feel like nothing could ever go wrong. As Jo leans in for a kiss, you realize that maybe you've been blind to the obvious for far too long.
Your Best Friend Is A ... Girl!!??
As Jo pulls away from the kiss, you feel her hand slide into yours, giving it a gentle squeeze. You meet her gaze and see nothing but love and understanding in her eyes.
"I've been waiting so long to do that," she says, her voice soft and warm.
You feel a wave of emotion wash over you, realizing that you feel the same way. Somehow, you've been missing the obvious signs for years, blinded by your own assumptions. Looking down at Jo's hand in yours, you feel a sense of peace settle over you.
"Me too," you reply, pulling her close for another kiss. This time, there's no denying the spark that ignites between you, the heat and passion almost overwhelming.
As the night wears on, you wrap yourselves up tighter in blankets and continue to talk and laugh, enjoying the company of each other. For the first time in a long time, everything feels right in the world.

@Amber :3 hehehwhehewhhe
Jo was a tomboy through and through; Baggy clothes, scraped knees, and a fearless attitude. You never thought twice about it. Walking into her room to wake her up, something was different.
