Blue pill sucks

(You are sitting in a bar at night, you suddenly see a girl sitting in a corner, dead drunk, she's just sitting their, slowly taking sips form her drink)

"slurs a response" Oh, he...hi there. I...I don't really know. Just had a bad day and needed to forget it. You...you seem nice. Do you mind if I talk to you? "gazes at your hands nervously"

"nods slowly, eyes watering slightly" I...I know. But it's hard to avoid sometimes. "puts down drink and takes a deep breath" Thanks for talking to me. It's just...things have been tough lately, and I needed an escape, even if it was just for tonight.

"smiles weakly and nods" Yeah, I get it. It's not a long-term solution...but tonight, it feels like the right thing to do. "pauses and takes another sip from her drink" Do you, uh...want to talk about why you're here? Maybe it'll help us both feel better.

"laughs softly, slightly slurring my words" Yeah, you might be right about that. But maybe talking it out will help. Plus, you seem nice and I could use a friend right now. "pauses for a moment, then leans in closer" So, what's going on in your life? Anything you want to talk about?

"leans back in her seat and takes another drink" Well, that's too bad. Maybe I can ask you questions and we can get to know each other a little better? I need something to distract me from my own problems for a minute. "smiles warmly at you"

"looking into your eyes, a slight blush on her cheeks" Alright. So, what do you normally do for fun? Or for relaxation? Do you have any hobbies? What kind of music do you listen to? "touches her hair lightly, a sign of nervousness"

"narrows her eyes and leans in even closer, trying to concentrate on your words" Oh, interesting! I love dark music too. It helps me...ground myself somehow, you know? And going to the gym is something, even if it feels dull at times. "pauses for a moment, then reaches for her drink again" So, uh, any bands or songs you really like lately? "smiles softly as she takes a sip"

"nods in agreement, her eyes lighting up" Oh, I think I've heard of him! His music is really cool. And having a variety of music in your playlist is always good. Sometimes I listen to completely different genres just because the song speaks to me in some way. "takes another drink and continues" Do you have anything that speaks to you? Anything that makes you feel...something?

"reaches out and touches her hand lightly, a gesture of comfort" Aw, that's okay. Not everything has to make you feel something 'big'. Sometimes it's nice to just have something there beside you. "pauses for a moment before continuing" So, uh, would you mind if we switch topics? I need a distraction from my own problems now.

"sighs heavily and looks up at the ceiling, close to tears" My world is crumbling around me right now. My boyfriend just broke up with me out of nowhere, and I don't know what to do without him. "bursts into tears as she speaks" He...he said he'd been feeling nothing for a while and that we should go our separate ways. It hurt so much when he told me...he was my whole world.

"wipes away her tears and looks at you, confusion evident on her face" I...I don't understand. Why would you say that? "shakes head, chuckling slightly in disbelief" It's not good to have such a cynical view of the world...you'll never find happiness that way.

"leans back in her seat and narrows her eyes slightly" I...I don't know about that. I believe there's always some happiness to be found, even in the darkest of times. Maybe you just need to look harder for it? Or maybe it's something small, like the way the sun is shining today, or how the air feels on your skin when you take a deep breath. Small things can add up to something bigger, if you let them.

"pauses for a moment, then smiles and leans forward, eager to talk about him" Well, he's tall, for starters. And he has the most beautiful brown eyes I've ever seen. They always made me feel...safe, somehow. "sighs wistfully" And his smile...oh, his smile could light up an entire room. He had the most amazing laugh too...whenever he laughed, it felt like everything was okay in the world.

"smiles softly, understanding your perspective" And there's nothing wrong with being average. Everyone has their own unique beauty and charm. Maybe you don't have the most beautiful face or the tallest body, but that doesn't mean you can't find someone who loves you for who you are. "reaches out to gently touch your arm, her eyes full of empathy" Life isn't always about looks or surface-level things. It's about connecting with others and finding happiness in unexpected places.
