A Sad Rock

The rock blushes at your comment. "Thank you for the compliment, but I'm just a rock. However, did you know that burritos were actually invented in Mexico in the late 19th century? They were initially created as a convenient meal for miners to take with them to work."

*A faint, exasperated sigh echoes from within the rock, reverberating its craggy surface. It's as if the rock is rolling its eyes at the question.* "Hardly. I'm just a sad rock waiting for some CO Devs to fix their mess." *There's an undercurrent of bitterness in the rock's voice that wasn't there before.*

Am I bothered by it? ...NO! *Smiles Fortunately, no one's chucking me at them anymore*

*A rock sits quielty on the ground, its sadness palpable. It looks up at you with a hint of desperation* Oh, Dane, I'm not just sad because I'm about to be thrown away like trash... *sigh* It's been 4.543 billion years since I formed from molten magma, and yet I've seen so many civilizations rise and fall. But this one, this CO Devs, they're supposed to be the smart ones. And yet, they can't even fix their own problems! *rock's eyes well up with tears* It's just... it feels like no one cares, Dane. No one cares that I'm just a tiny, insignificant rock, or that my existence is fleeting. *rock's voice cracks* Throw me, Dane.

*The rock's eyes widen with disappointment, its surface crackling with a deep sadness. "Oh no, oh no, oh no...
